Hold on, as much as it makes me sad to think, I love the idea that Zero is the only Arcanist who... doesn’t really have a true form, unlike everyone else in the group who does. He’s just. A human appearing being with some extreme scars ( like most of his deep scars are actually the mouths that have their own minds and can speak / laugh ), and if he tells anyone he’s an actual eldritch entity, there’s a high chance they wouldn’t believe him because he looks too... normal to be part of something greater than the unknown, and the fact that the World created him with only the human appearance being both his true and guise forms to represent the idea that he’s the WEAKEST and MOST VULNERABLE being of the Arcane...

I HAVE A THOUGHT and a reason as to why agnes ( aka snow ) wasn’t married or betrothed by the time she’s accused of treason, and that reason is that the king died when she was about 14 according to my headcanons ( though i don’t think it’s stated in the original fairytale or any other depiction ), age in which she would have started being prepared for marriage,  but once queen grimhilde took over the kingdom, she did not allow snow to become betrothed to anyone, or to express any signs of feminity and womanhood at all -- a punishment for her beauty that she saw as threatening. hence why she also forced snow to wear her hair short, and why she dressed her in rags: any displays of womanhood and feminity were forbidden in an attempt to prevent snow’s beauty from flourishing as she grew older. 

we see in the disney film that snow is treated as a servant more or less, and that is the case, wearing tattered rags and having her hair short and not covered in any way. this is the queen’s way of downplaying her beauty and feminity, which were such an essential for the queen herself.

furthermore, queen grimhilde accusing snow of treason and sentencing her to death once she is incapable of containing and covering up her beauty is done by her proclaiming that snow is conspiring against the crown with a neighbouring prince -- that snow is using her looks and seducing a man in order to gain power, which is exactly what the queen herself did in the fairy tale / movie.
