Okay so... I got a second tree. 🎄🎄 . I've had my trusty little 4 foot fiberoptic tree (bottom right) since I first moved south in 2013. It was tiny, my apartment was tiny, my world was sad and tiny. While 2020 has been just horrible for millions, it was beyond good to me. I was truly blessed for the years of sacrifice and incredible hard work I've put in for my goals and well... I think it called for a much bigger tree. . The rest of 2020 calls for recovery, rest, and reevaluation. New goals are certainly forming and this girl is about to plow head first back into the hustle. . My second quarter as a Professor of Equestrian Studies is a wrap! . I'm a very private person and have learned the hard way not to talk about potential "good things" coming my way in life as they still can flitter through my fingers like sand. However, this past Friday was the end of Fall Quarter at SCAD and I couldn't be more excited for Winter! . It all started at a horse school that offered bachelor's through WVU and then I set my sights on a Master's from GSU because I knew I wanted back into the collegiate atmosphere. Every goal I had set, I met. Even scoring a professor position at one of the greatest schools in the world. I'm so proud to be a 🐝 and to teach such a FUN generation of horse obsessed people! .
