Progress CleanBot - Week 12

My start-up venture has experienced a little bit more encouragement this week. I'm pleased to announce that I may have uncovered a potential improvement to my robotic cleaning service after conducting active study and examining many choices.

A new robot cleaning technology that promises to be more effective and efficient than my present model is being tested by me right now. Providing a hybrid service that combines the usage of robots with manual cleaning by human staff is another option I've been thinking about. This would enable me to provide my clients with a service that is more flexible and adaptable.

In terms of what isn't working, I've realised that my marketing efforts may use some improvement. I've had trouble connecting with and reaching out to potential customers, therefore I think I need to devote more time and money to creating a strong marketing plan.

Notwithstanding the difficulties, my outlook on the future of my project has improved. I think there is still a sizable market for robotic cleaning services, and I'm sure I can find a method to successfully and profitably fill that market need.

I'm finding out that managing a business involves a lot of perseverance and resiliency, in terms of what I'm learning about it. There will always be difficulties and failures, but it is crucial to remain committed to long-term objectives and flexible in the face of shifting conditions. I am also becoming more aware of the value of networking and establishing trusting connections with possible partners and customers.

What I am discovering about myself is that I have a tremendous love for problem-solving and entrepreneurship. I like the challenge of coming up with innovative answers to challenging issues, and I'm learning that I have a knack for seeing new possibilities and thinking beyond the box.

To sum up, my start-up venture has made progress this week. I'm looking into a hybrid service model and exploring new robotic cleaning technology. Even if there are still obstacles to overcome, I am more optimistic about the future of my company and am still dedicated to its success.

Through the years, I have gained experience is administration, executive management, financial management , community outreach, budgeting and entrepenuership.

There is a gross story that people write about those in a transitional space and struggling to step into a new season of themselves. People tend to insinuate that such people are hopeless, lazy, delusional, or wasting their precious time and energy. When we imply these things about those who are in-between jobs, moved back in with family, making down payments or taking out loans, opening their own business, or needing to move away, we do a disservice to them AND ourselves. Because we fail to see that our entire existence is an existence of becoming. Some hurdles in our evolution just take more energy, more confidence, and more efforts in manifestation. It helps nobody at all if we offer discouragement in these times. And it makes a big difference if we show that we wish them the best.

Monique Evelle: The Entrepreneur Taking Innovation Off The Beaten Track In Brazil

After building a powerful network and attracting visibility with a raft of major initiatives around innovation, futurism and social impact, Monique Evelle readies the next step of her trajectory. The entrepreneur and activist is working to create an innovation hub beyond the traditional urban centers of Brazil alongside major companies and readying her first foray as an investor, whilst advancing her own technology-based businesses and starting out on a journey of international expansion.

At 27 years old, Evelle is one of Brazil's main voices in the innovation and entrepreneurship scene. She leads a multitude of initiatives in that space converging into the aim of breaking down barriers imposed by structural racism, which earned her an inclusion in Forbes Brazil's Under 30 cohort in 2017, a nomination on the list of the 50 most creative people in Brazil by Wired magazine in 2020, as well as several other accolades. Her starting point was Desabafo Social, a project launched a decade ago in her native Salvador, in the Northeast region of Brazil.

The project started out as a student union of sorts, a platform with Evelle's reflections around the stories she heard from those living in the outskirts and their hopes and dreams, as well as their challenges - in Brazilian Portuguese, "desabafo" means to get something off one's chest. The project evolved into a social technology laboratory, with a raft of projects around income generation, education and communication directed at ensuring human rights and changing realities of underprivileged populations.

The evolution of Desabafo Social over the years reflects that motivation: before venturing into the development of solutions to address issues ranging from gender and race to mental health and future of work, the platform established an editorial edge, whereby topics were explained in accessible manner to a mainstream audience.
