How does one spot an entp? Truly, I think we're pretty easy to spot, albeit maybe not super super common ~5th least common, so it's not too bad.

ENTPs walk the line between the traditional definitions of introvert and extrovert. So we're not always spot-able, especially if we're drained or not too interested in the conversation around us. I just note this to say that it's not witty-town all year round. Also, when we're younger, many things that we say are misses more than hits so another note depending on your age!

ENTPs will want to discuss to understand (not to offend, though sometimes it may come off as argumentative). Truly we just like understanding things on all sides directly, and so you might hear an ENTP bouncing different angles of a problem very objectively, and very openly/comfortably agreeing or disagreeing with people.

If you notice someone who is just super charming and witty... and then you don't see them, talk to them, hear from them for months, and then suddenly they're there again and wow, still a charmer, are they flirting with you, wow they know everyone, oop they're gone again....... ya that's an ENTP

ignoring function VS demonstrative function in socionics (5th function vs 6th function in mbti)

this is super useful for differing entps from intps, enfjs from infjs etc. for example, extps are TE demonstrative. they won't have any problems TE scolding you (critical parent in john beebe's system) or taking initiative and telling people what to do.

for ixtps on the other hand TE is ignoring function. an intp or istp will try to lead only when absolutely have to. why you ask, prove it you say? well, the reason why ELSE because extps are also fe tertiary while ixtps are fe inferior. ixtps do not want to deal with people.

more proof you say? well, fe tertiary for extps means fi blindspot. if your fe is trolly as an extp then your fi is gonna be worse as its shadow. extp do not give a dang about your feelings or AT LEAST, extps do not give a dang about your feelings when they clash with the logic. isn't this still good enough reason for you why extps can order people around with their te (or fe) while ixtps can't or at least won't?

socionics puts ixtps and their fi in the "role" slot. role function tries. ixtps tries to be nice. if you have some ixtps friends you will see this, you don't need a complicated 89 dichotomy based system whatsoever. whenever ixtps hurt people with their logic, they do it by mistake only.

a/n: don't mind me giving my comfort character and my loml some healing lmaooo <33 i had sm fun writing this istg it made my heart warm. this is a slow burn fic, and the reader is a self-insert on some points because i can get self indulgent tehee!!

You wandered aimlessly, looking around the suite-like cabin and then down the skyline. Tokyo was always beautiful, even now when winters had just started to greet. There was a foggy blanket of clouds covering the labyrinth of buildings and you could never get over it. With your next client, it was obvious your thoughts were along the lines of… an Angel flying out in the skies keeping everyone safe, now reduced to someone without wings. Still an Angel though, but that's what you think. Maybe he doesn't.

You grimly sighed when your eyes wandered at the clock, there were still 30 minutes to your appointment, normally… someone like you would never get the opportunity to deal with heroes so popular. Hawks was a no show after the war, people thought he had died. People thought he left Japan for good. Though a faint glimmer of hope always made you want to believe he's still around. To your surprise when he was your client, you felt a knot on your stomach churn with anticipation and excitement.

You sat on your velvety chair, the lights dim and comfortable to the modernized architecture of your office. You gulped, opening his file and looking at the passport photograph of him. The scar he got in one of the fights in which a villain named Dabi publicized his kill was there, siren eyes staring into your very soul were there. How could you even try to open up someone who looks so ethereal and so threatening at the same time. You feel just as nervous as your first time, the personality that Hawks carries eating away at you slowly. You shook your head, jerking the thoughts away. Be professional, he is a client and you're doing your job.

If you hadn't been so dazed by your favorite hero and your crush; you were quite a number yourself. Cut-throat, not afraid to walk the talk, stern, fierce, kind and disciplined. You closed the client book you had, looking into the beautiful goldens of his eyes and making eye contact. "So, I know the first session is usually the most awkward one. People try to get to know their shrink before letting themselves to open up." You glanced, and Hawks looked like he would devour you whole. He looked invested in your words, not in a faking concentration way… in a 'I will listen to what you have to say' way.

"Allow me to share some stuff about myself then, my name is Y/N. I am a therapist good morning. Apart from that, I like to participate in various hobbies like kickboxing, journalling, playing games, spending time with my cat, yada yada. I am an INTJ, I think MBTI has started taking the same wavelength in Japan as Korea huh? Everyone's obsessed with em' I think."

"Well" Hawks clicked his tongue, clearly unamused by your introduction, it was brief and curt. Not a fair deal for someone who will unravel him… then again, you are his therapist, not vice versa.

"I think so too, do you know, a lot of the fans pretend to be INTJs because they tend to be compatible with ENTPs?" He chuckled, rolling his eyes. God he does know everything… there was a whole article about this. "We could do the quiz together if you have your concerns." "Shyeah- no, I don't. You asked Hawks, and for a moment, the barest of seconds, you could see his eyes turn to a void. "Yeah, good, never been better you know? Vacationing now that I have a sick ton of money with practically nothin' to do. Ain't gonna waste it otherwise by being depressed."

You clicked your tongue, oh he would not open up huh? Well, not that you expected this to be an easy ride either. "Yeah, of course. Money does help… helps everyone. At the end of the day I'm sitting on this chair to be paid a hefty by you." You hum, crossing your legs and getting comfortable too. This would be a fierce mental war already. From the determination of a hero and from a healer who's been sought out by the same hero.

"Then again, it isn't everything."

Oh except if you could tell that to childhood Hawks, it was… it was everything. His eyes pale with the answer a little. "Led a very comfortable life haven't you?" He smirked, giving you a miniscule opening.

"Yeah, luckily." You responded, smiling… "Clearly you haven't."

Hawks stood silent at that, and that was an answer enough.

"You were a rich kid since you started your agency, was this your teens or childhood?" Before Hawks could decipher, the session had already begun.

"Well, I was the viral news subject after they found out I was Thief Takami's son." He raised a brow, and you nodded. "Shitty murderer dad, mum?" You felt bad on being so professional, but you also felt Hawks would push you away if you were too kind. Some people have stopped treating him as a person ever since All for One had taken his quirk away.

"Mum was well, absent, mentally." He responded, and shrugged. "Dad was abusive, used to beat me up as a child and mum was too engrossed in her own shit I suppose. Happy for her that she has a new life with a new husband and new kids." It was amusing how Hawks didn't sound salty about it… it could only mean detachment to the finest. A befitting coping mechanism.

"You didn't have to go through that, I'm guessing if I needed to ever, talk to baby Hawks, I can't have a childhood photograph?" You glanced hopefully. "Nah, not a single childhood photograph. Dad was too paranoid of things and mum didn't care."

"We usually uh, have this exercise you know? That you'd keep a picture of your childhood self at your bathroom mirror and remember who you're talking about whenever you feel self-doubt." You smiled, looking into his eyes with empathy but no pity.

ENTP GOJO SATORU x INFP READER: Cuddles and Kisses

Lying on your bed, Satoru Gojo idly flicked through his phone, occasionally glancing up at the ceiling. He wore a pair of loose grey sweatpants and a simple white t-shirt, looking comfortable and casual. The weekend had flown by, and it was already evening.

He paid you a visit to your apartment and spent the day relaxing, watching TV, and enjoying your company. He stretched out on the bed, feeling content and comfortable. Hearing the bathroom door open, Satoru looked over to see you entering the room.

His heart skipped a beat when he saw your beautiful figure adorned in a pair of light blue pajamas. They were actually a gift from him - a set featuring adorable white cats wearing round shades printed on the cotton fabric. The sight of you immediately captured his attention, and he forgot all about his phone.

Your boyfriend’s gaze traveled up from your feet, taking in every inch of your body, until it reached your eyes. There was a soft smile on your lips as you saw him looking at you, and it sent a wave of warmth through him. He slowly sat up, tossing his phone aside.

"You look—!" Satoru was caught off guard when you suddenly jumped onto the bed, landing squarely on top of him. He let out a surprised laugh as you wrapped your arms around his neck, burying your face in his chest.

"Cuddle time!" you exclaimed happily.

Feeling your warmth and the softness of your body against his, he couldn't help but smile. He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you closer, and nuzzled his face into your hair. He realized that you had interrupted him mid-sentence.

"I was just saying..." he began, trailing off as he kissed the top of your head. "Never mind that. Let's just cuddle." For now, he was content to enjoy the cuddles with you.

“Yey!” you exclaimed like a child who had just been given their favorite candy. Your excitement was contagious, making Satoru grin down at you.

“Is someone happy?” Both of you were lying now side by side on the bed, bodies pressed together. Your head was nestled under your boyfriend’s chin while your arms wrapped around his waist.

On the other hand, Satoru wrapped his arm around your shoulders, pulling you even closer. He could feel your heartbeat through the contact, and it brought a sense of calmness to him. He began to gently stroke your hair, running his fingers through the soft strands as he breathed in your unique scent.

You looked up at his handsome face, your eyes sparkling with affection. "Hmm." You nodded, biting your lower lip and smiling.

"You were away for three days. You don’t know how much I missed you…” you said softly, your cheeks turning a lovely shade of pink. “That’s why I’m now craving for your full attention…”

Hearing you say those sweet words made Satoru's heart melt. His hands moved down to tightly wrap you around your waist, pulling you upward to his chest.

"Awwh, I missed you too, kitten," he replied softly and affectionately. "But you don’t have to ask for attention. You’ll always get it from me.”

You blushed so cutely that he couldn't resist the urge to cup your cheeks in his hands. He leaned in, capturing your lips in a tender kiss before moving to your left red cheek, where he placed a soft peck. Then, he moved to your right cheek, repeating the process.

After planting a final kiss on your cheek, Satoru pulled back slightly, his cerulean eyes locked onto yours. A warm smile spread across his face as he brushed a strand of hair away from your forehead.

"Y/n," Satoru breathed, his voice thick with emotion. "I can't even begin to describe how crazy I am for you. Every time I look at you, I fall deeper in love.”

You stared into each other's eyes while your hearts raced in sync. The air felt thick with love and desire. As if time itself had slowed down, your boyfriend leaned in, his lips barely touching yours.

“I love you to infinity…"

With that, Satoru captured your lips in a kiss filled with love, longing, and passion. The taste of him sent shivers down your spine, and you clung to him as if your life depended on it. His tongue danced with yours, exploring every inch of your mouth as his hands roamed over your body, claiming you as his own.

The world ceased to exist as both of you lost in the heat of the moment. Your love for each other was the only constant in the chaos that surrounded the two of you…

why an infp would love an entp?

entp doesn’t truly love anybody under normal circumstances, not “really”. (this is why i associated extps and extjs as dismissive avoidants in another post) so if infp can make entp love her, she would get a super rare love that’s impossible to find in nature! and woot! infps are all about rare and unique and obscure.

so for an infp, entp can be a very interesting project. can you teach this person totally alien to fi ability to love and trust and vulnerability and stuff? it’s like picking a mistreated dog from shelter and keep giving it love even though its first intinct is to bite. but the very fact earning hard to earn love makes it more valuable, more special to infp!
