Another random thought. SPIDER-MAN!! What so many people love about spider-man is his relatability. What in his recent runs have been relatable? Twin comes back as a demon super powered version of himself with a horrible name to take your life? Soon to be wife (or so we thought) gets stuck in some inter dimensional world and gets with another man in the meantime to take care of not real twins? (I’m ngl I didn’t completely pay attention to that part I mostly read it as to be bored correct me if wrong). Peter himself isn’t really relatable, it’s overly sad. That isn’t to say some people in life aren’t overly sad but should they’re FAVORITE superhero be down in the dumps and damn near never get up? How does that uplift the people relating to him? Spider-man is as big if not bigger than super man and he has a family and it has STUCK. It’s part of his status quo which was long over do but he has it, so should Spider-man. The argument that he can’t struggle and he’ll be too happy is so boring and redundant for anyone who’s willing to argue it because a family man has troubles, there’s something to relate to especially with a lot of spider-man fans having families.

Yes there are younger fans but would you look at who fell into our lap but THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN!!!!

Yes, Miles is the answer to young fans needing a Spider-Man to relate to not some randomly age Puny Parker. I won’t even go deep into this cause this is just so simple.

since spotify wrapped is coming today i just want to bring awareness to the fact that around 86% of the songs on spotify are currently demonetized since spotify decided that tracks with under 1,000 cannot be monetized. not only that the ceo of spotify cashed out $35.8 million dollars in spotify shares in the third quarter of the year and it has been reported that he earns more than the top artists on the platform.

for a platform that claims to support artists, this is outrageous and i hope people realize that an artist who is starting out, cannot make a living out of spotify streams simply because daniel ek and his friends made it worse for the artists trying to start a career. if you wanna support musicians and the possibility for them to get a living wage please follow United Musicians and Allied Workers (UMAW) which are trying to make The Living Wage for Musicians Act a reality so musicians can be paid fairly through streaming platforms and get the cut they deserve.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

Like Outie Irving assumes his Innie is just as radically anti-Lumon as he is. He assumes his hatred of Lumon is something ingrained in his personality! That's why he stays up at night drinking coffee and making paintings, because he hopes that when his innie dreams about the testing floor, he'll say "okay bet" and start exploring. That's what Outie Irving would do, after all. But he miscalculated! His hatred of Lumon isn't inherent--- his desire for meaning and art and spirituality is inherent. That's what his hatred for Lumon is built on. But in a world where there's no meaning outside of Lumon propaganda, of COURSE his innie would become ridiculously devoted to the company.

And Helena!! She is the corporation, that's her whole identity. She presumably assumed that Helly would be just as pro-Lumon as she is. But she miscalculated too! Her devotion to the company isn't inherent, her headstrong and entitled nature is what's inherent! And in a world where she's denied any agency whatsoever, that manifests as rebellion.

It's the same dynamic flipped on its head. They both sent their innies in there with opposite intentions--- one to take down the company, one feed the company's expansion--- only to realize that rebellion and devotion aren't inherent characteristics. Their innies have become the exact opposite of their outie selves, while still being exactly the same!! Because even though your personality is inherent, the values you hold are determined circumstantially. OUGH IT'S SO GOOD.
