I lived in Miami/South Beach area 20 years ago for a short while when I was a young man trying to find my way in this world. It's good to come back to a place for a few days and reflect on all the decisions I've made in my life that's gotten me where I am today. I'd say I've done pretty good. I've got Jesus Christ in my life, I've got a great family, I've got some amazing friends, I make a great living where I don't worry about money. So it's been a long eventful day of catchups! 1. Breakfast with grandparents - they finished eating and still waited for me to bike down to order just so they could get me food and talk for a bit before their doc appt <3 2. Took a train ride/ bike trip to palo alto do my weekly task (essentially hanging out virtually with ELYSIA :p) omg the train just so happened to be the one of only 2 express trains today so it dropped me off in mountain view >.< goood thing I have experience riding to palo alto goodness. But it worked out perfect since Zombie Runner is between both, so after getting to zombie runner I biked to palo alto for some self time food . 3. Loving hut in palo alto! Been meaning to try it! (Also just really needed to charge my dead phone to figure out where I was meeting a sister at Stanford lol) 4.then my family happened to be at Stanford mall shopping, so we spent a little time together eating my food triumph for the day and booking my flight to china haha 4. Was supposed to leave right aftwr getting home to dinner but Reanne wasn't feeling well last minute and couldn't drive. so i had time to go over to Gar's BBQ for a bit and seee a ton of HS friends ! 5. Right till Anthea came to pick me up for our planned dinner- it had been 2 years since we last saw but really a long long time since we last had a one on one convo...probably since she moved in 7th grade. We were all just really happy we kept in touch all these years. and Steph met up with us for dessert after her dinner and the 3 of us reunited xD Really happy with how the first half of this weekend ended. 6. Let's not forget, Friday with Lily! We had our awesome ice cream sandwich and dinner which managed to accommodate both of our restricted diets (vegan and gluten-free) (lily- basically no starches/fiber) and we managed to end up with delicious vegan and gluten free menus haha. All smiles. Night!
