This weekend’s jackpot promises thrilling football action from across Europe’s top leagues, providing an exciting backdrop as you aim to win millions.
Everton vs Newcastle (English Premier League) The Mega Jackpot gets underway on Saturday with a key fixture between Everton and Newcastle United at Goodison Park. Everton is looking to continue their resurgence after a poor start to the 2024/25 season. The Toffees are unbeaten in their last two matches and have a solid home record, winning six of their last eight league games at Goodison. On the other hand, Newcastle has made an impressive start to the season and will be keen to maintain their top-four push. Both teams are desperate for points, making this an unpredictable and crucial matchup to kick off the Mega Jackpot.
Brighton vs Tottenham (Premier League) Later in the weekend, Brighton will take on Tottenham in what promises to be another close encounter. Only one point separates these two sides on the Premier League table. While Brighton has struggled to secure wins in recent weeks, Tottenham comes into the game riding high on confidence after an impressive run of five straight victories in all competitions. Spurs are also aiming for their third consecutive Premier League win, which would be their first such streak this calendar year.
Real Sociedad vs Atletico Madrid (La Liga) The final game in this weekend’s Mega Jackpot takes place in Spain’s La Liga, where Real Sociedad will host Atletico Madrid at the Reale Arena in San Sebastian. Sociedad has been in poor form, winning just once in their last eight games and losing five of their previous six home matches. Atletico Madrid, despite a recent heavy defeat to Benfica in the Champions League, will be eager to bounce back and continue their dominant record over Sociedad, having not lost to them in their last nine meetings.

Newcastle Falcons manager Steve Diamond responds to reports involving Stuart Hogg

The Daily Rugby

Newcastle Falcons manager Steve Diamond responds to reports involving Stuart Hogg
Steve Diamond talks about being taken aback. Rumours about Stuart Hogg as Newcastle looks to fix “bad recruitment” Steve Diamond, the consultant director of rugby at the Newcastle Falcons, has addressed rumours that Stuart Hogg has been discussing a possible comeback to rugby.
Before the 2023 Rugby World Cup, the legendary player from Scotland announced his retirement from the game, saying he was “knackered, physically and emotionally.” Nevertheless, it was revealed on Friday that Hogg had conversations with a failing Newcastle squad, who lost all 18 of their games and finished bottom of the Premiership.
Given Hogg’s ongoing legal battle for accusations of domestic abuse and stalking, it would be an unexpected and contentious move, but Steve Diamond emphasised that there was “no truth whatsoever” to the reports.
That seems to put an end to the rumour, though it must be acknowledged that the 55-year-old has flatly denied any transfers have ever occurred only for them to be made public shortly after. The former hooker is well aware that the Falcons require reinforcements following yet another crushing defeat at ninth-place Gloucester to cap off a terrible season.
The Cherry and Whites crushed Newcastle 54–14 on Saturday, and the team finished the season with just five bonus points after 18 losses and 0 wins.
Steve Diamond addresses Stuart Hogg Rumours
Steve Diamond remarked, “We looked like rabbits in the headlights again.” Gloucester performed flawlessly. They were getting ready for their major European final when they took a little heat last week for the team they fielded.
“The guys will be off for a few weeks, but I have to get to work right now. For a variety of reasons, the recruitment process here has not been excellent.
“You can survive in the Premiership with one or two that you bring from the Championship.” However, you cannot form a championship squad if you get them all together. And based on the outcomes, we have turned into precisely that.
“A team this demoralised cannot be instantly elevated to the top four.” However, the following time, we can aim to rise above the bottom of the league.
Stuart Hogg’s unexpected comeback to the Premier League in his retirement has been related. At the conclusion of the season, there might be just one spot between Newcastle and Gloucester, but in practice, there is a massive gap. A week after suffering a 90-0 humiliation at the hands of Northampton Saints, the Cherry and Whites concluded their domestic campaign on a positive note. They will try to carry that energy into the Challenge Cup final against the Sharks.
“Sharks are going to be a formidable squad. We are playing in a proper final with a proper team. Gloucester’s director of rugby, George Skivington, predicted that the Sharks would be a formidable squad. “This is a proper team we will be playing at a proper final and they will be hard to beat.” It’s going to be a huge event for all of the guys, so I’ll need to sit down and choose the squad after learning how each player is feeling.
It was crucial to end the season on a positive note because this was our final game. Although we didn’t have the desired league season, we still wanted to finish strong and score a few tries.
15 players will be leaving the Newcastle Falcons this summer, the team has announced. The team’s season has been disappointing because they haven’t won any Premiership games. Due of this, the northern team’s performance in the English Premier League this season has been subpar. Since there is currently no relegation, they will participate in the Premiership the following year.
Steve Diamond appoint ex-Sale and Worcester boss as consultant Director of Rugby
Between seasons, there are changes afoot as rugby consultant director Steve Diamond reorganises things. Barton, Phil, Sam Clark, Sam Cross, Mark Dormer, Rory Jennings, Louie Johnson, Matias Moroni, Matias Moroni, Guy Pepper, Vereimi Qorowale, Iwan Stephens, Josh Thomas, Michael van Vuuren, and George Wacokecoke are the players leaving.
Rugby’s chairman, Matt Thompson, stated The boys should be proud of their work ethic and attitude despite the difficult season. We always find it difficult to say goodbye to well-liked and gifted players in our playing group, many of whom have been with us for a long time and contributed greatly.
We are already well on our way to assembling our team for the upcoming season and beyond, with Steve Diamond leading a group that promises to be fiercely competitive.
Our fans have been incredibly supportive of the team, and I have no doubt that they will be just as kind in expressing their gratitude to the players who are leaving.”
After a few days off following the humiliating loss to Bristol last Sunday, Steve Diamond’s team returned to the training field on Wednesday, demonstrating his ability to pick himself up after the most recent Newcastle setback.
The bottom-of-the-table Falcons, who had shown improvement in their previous two games under new coach Steve Diamond, who took over for the fired Alex Codling, were destroyed 85-14 at Ashton Gate on a 13-2 try count, their fifteenth straight Gallagher Premiership loss this season for Rugby News thedailyrugby
On March 23, Newcastle battled to a 16–25 loss at Exeter, and six days later, they gave Leicester a scare with a 13–19 home loss. But the three-week break that had given them the impression that they would be a more prepared team was shattered when they trailed three tries as early as the 13th minute, making the 23-day wait until their next game against Bristol disastrous.
When RugbyPass questioned Diamond about the 500-kilometer journey, the athlete joked, “Well, they were high-fiving, we stopped at a couple of brothels on the way back and bought loads of booze.” Steve Diamond had been travelling back to the northeast on the squad bus. Liam, how would you describe it? The bus wasn’t too far away, but there wasn’t a dead quiet either. It felt like spending six hours at a funeral.
How were the hours passed? “We definitely watched the game in front of the bus and had a debate, but since I really believe in not reacting to situations hastily, we weren’t shoving people in the bus every 20 minutes.
Given the humiliating scoreline in Bristol, it would have made sense if Steve Diamond had given the players a hair dryer treatment a la Alex Ferguson. Nonetheless, his tact was applauded for not verbally abusing the situation. Read more about Newcastle Falcons manager Steve Diamond

Liverpool avoids damaging defeat to Man United but drops points in three-way race for the title
Having ended Liverpool's quadruple challenge, Manchester United looked set to deliver a major blow to Jurgen Klopp's hopes of bowing out at the end of the season with a second Premier League title.
Tumblr media
Time will tell how damaging a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford on Sunday will be to the Merseyside club in the three-way fight at the top, but it could have been so much worse if not for Mohamed Salah's late penalty.
“We should have won the game, that is clear,” Klopp said. “As far as I'm concerned, we have a point more than we did before.”
It wasn't only the prospect of defeat at the home of Liverpool's fiercest rivals that felt so significant, but the nature of it.
Klopp's team had totally dominated by raining down shots on United's goal in a mismatched first half, but only managed to lead 1-0 at the break through Luis Diaz's goal.
The atmosphere totally changed when Bruno Fernandes struck a stunning equalizer from inside the center circle after a Liverpool mistake and Kobbie Mainoo curled a superb shot into the top corner to give United the lead.
After victories for Arsenal and Manchester City on Saturday, Liverpool was heading toward a second defeat to United, after losing in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup last month.
That was until Aaron Wan-Bissaka's reckless lunge at Harvey Elliott led to referee Anthony Taylor pointing to the spot and Salah converting.
The draw moved Liverpool level on points with first-place Arsenal, but behind on goal difference. City is a point behind in third in an ever-tightening title race.
“You shouldn't do what we do today constantly, that won't be enough. Definitely not,” Klopp said.
Klopp said in January that he would step down at the end of the season. He has already led Liverpool to the English League Cup and the club is still in contention to win the Europa League. Klopp is hoping to win the Premier League title for a second time after ending the club's 30-year wait for the trophy in 2020.
United has been a bogey team for Liverpool this season — with two draws in the league and victory in the FA Cup.
Arsenal still has to travel to Old Trafford in the league, but Klopp predicted a similar performance by United would be punished by Mikel Arteta's league leader.
“I'm really sorry to say it, but we should have won both games and didn't. That's our fault,” Klopp said.
UNITED FIGHTS
Erik ten Hag needed a performance from his players in front of new co-owner Jim Ratcliffe.
A desperately disappointing week had seen his team blow winning positions in stoppage time at Brentford and Chelsea to deliver blows to United's chances of qualifying for the Champions League.
While this was another late setback, United's response to being totally outplayed in the first half will have provided some encouragement to the manager.
“When you put yourself three times in a week in a winning position, just before the end of the game, but then drop points, it is very disappointing,” Ten Hag said.
Pressure is on Ten Hag to salvage a campaign that has failed to live up to expectations. Ratcliffe is overhauling United's soccer operations in an attempt to end its wait for the title, having last lifted the trophy in Alex Ferguson's final season in 2013.
That won't happen this year, but Ten Hag could still win the FA Cup with his team playing second-tier Coventry in the semifinals later this month.
He still has hopes of qualifying for the Champions League, with fifth place potentially being enough, dependent on how English teams perform in Europe this season.
“We will keep fighting and we have to do the same and learn from the moments,” Ten Hag said.
LATE DRAMA
On Thursday, it was Chelsea pulling off a late comeback to stun United.
On Sunday, Mauricio Pochettino's team was on the wrong end of stoppage-time drama as last-place Sheffield United fought back to earn a 2-2 draw at Bramall Lane after Ollie McBurnie's equalizer in the third minute of added time.
Chelsea twice squandered the lead after opening the scoring through Thiago Silva and going in front again through Noni Madueke.
While Sheffield United looks almost certain to be relegated this season, it showed fight in front of its home fans.
Jayden Bogle leveled the game in the first half before McBurnie's late effort.
“Today is not about finding excuses, in the last few minutes we needed to kill (the game), that is the reason we are in the position we are," Pochettino said. “We are scoring and the problem is we are conceding a lot, we are going to keep working and believing."
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Tottenham moved up to fourth after a 3-1 win against Nottingham Forest to take charge of the race for the last guaranteed Champions League place.
Spurs moved above fifth-place Aston Villa on goal difference and also has a game in hand on its closest rival.
Forest, meanwhile, missed the chance to move further clear of the relegation zone and is above 18th-place Luton on goal difference alone.
An own-goal from Murillo put the hosts ahead at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium before Chris Wood leveled for Forest in the first half.
But two goals in the space of six minutes from Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro after the break sealed the win for Ange Postecoglou's team.

Assistir Futebol Ao Vivo | Manchester City X Manchester Utd
Tumblr media
Manchester United will face Manchester City in the largest Manchester derby yet at Wembley Stadium, Assistir Futebol Ao Vivo as the two teams compete for the renowned trophy.
Erik ten Hag's team will be fighting not only for their second piece of silverware of the season but also to derail the Blues' triple chances. It's a stunning achievement that has only been matched by one other English team, Manchester United x in 1999.
It's a difficult challenge at the best of times, given City's recent form, but it's made even more difficult by United's absence of up to five players. Lisandro Martinez, Marcel Sabitzer, and Donny van de Beek have all been declared out for the season, while Anthony Martial will miss the rest of the season due to his sixth injury.
Antony, another forward, is also a significant doubt due to an ankle injury suffered against Chelsea. "Unlikely. Antony still has a chance, but it's a slim one, according to the management. "Because he didn't make any progress, he still has a chance, but it's unlikely he'll be available."
Ten Hag said:
“Oh, we know that we can beat them and that is important. Because everyone knows you play against a tough team, a very good team, and they win the Premier League. And so, yeah, the way they play, we admire that, but we know we can beat them.”
Manchester United's predicted lineup vs. Manchester City in the FA Cup final, with Rashford and Fred starting.
Fred might be a surprise starting when Manchester United takes on Manchester City in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
The trip to Wembley is United's final game of a hard but rewarding season, and it could be the most important of them all. It not only offers Erik Ten Hag's club a chance to win their second trophy of the season, but it also ends City's hopes of completing a historic treble ahead of next week's Champions League final.
However, the work will not be easy. Not only are they up against a Pep Guardiola side coming off yet another Premier League title, but United are also badly depleted due to injury. Although Lisandro Martinez, Marcel Sabitzer, and Donny van de Beek had already been ruled out for the season, Anthony Martial will also miss the final due to a hamstring injury, his sixth of the season.
Tumblr media
Erik Ten Hag and Pep Guardiola faced off in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
Manchester City vs Manchester United predictions are overwhelming FA Cup final
Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has once again demonstrated his standing as the best coach of his generation by leading his team to a fifth Premier League title in six years and moving them within two wins of a spectacular Treble. But Erik Ten Hag, who has already led United to a Carabao Cup victory and a top-four finish, stands in his way at Wembley.
Ten Hag, who previously worked with Guardiola at Bayern Munich, cannot match Guardiola's record, but his first season with United has been promising, with one trophy and Champions League qualification guaranteed.
They've both beaten each other this season, but who will walk away with the FA Cup trophy? The Mirror Football team makes their predictions here - and there's a clear winner...
Andy Dunn
Manchester City 3-1 Manchester United
The toughest task for Pep Guardiola ahead of the FA Cup final – and the Champions League final – will be getting his players back into the zone. Manchester City has played three games since being crowned Premier League champions on May 20 but has not been very active.
There has been some partying and some relaxation. The city's machine will be difficult to restart, but they should still have too much for Manchester United.
Erling Haaland has gone three matches without scoring, which is unusual for him. Expect that to come to an end at Wembley, with City running out pretty easy winners.
Michael Walters
Manchester City 1-2 Manchester United
All reasoning suggests that Manchester City will pass the final obstacle in their quest for the Triple Crown. The club that scored six goals against United in October has lost none of its firepowers.
Erling Haaland, who has 52 goals and counting this season, remains the untamable beast. Kevin De Bruyne, like Raffles the gentleman jewel thief, can still pick a pass.
Jack Grealish is now playing like a player worth £100 million. And, with five titles in six years, City appears to be unstoppable, right? All reasoning suggests they'll finish the Treble, right?
But when has logic ever been associated with the FA Cup final? Sunderland upsetting Leeds 50 years ago, Wimbledon's Crazy Gang pushing Liverpool into submission in 1988, or Wigan mugging City in the final minute of the 2013 FA Cup final.
Marcus Rashford has scored five goals and finished on the winning side in six Manchester derbies in 13 games. Marcus, get ready to go...
Darren Wells
Manchester City 2-0 Manchester United
Despite Man City's greatness, I believe Saturday's final will be cagier than most predict.
With the Premier League secured and all focus on the Champions League, this is a game that City may take for granted. With so much focus on when City will complete the treble, the FA Cup final against their main rivals has nearly gone unnoticed. And this is the season for Manchester United. They have nothing to play for and will leave everything on the pitch at Wembley.
Erik ten Hag, I believe, will do all possible to make life difficult for their opponents and stay in the game as long as feasible.
Having said that, City should be too strong for Ten Hag's team, and I anticipate them to hoist the Cup come the final whistle. It may not be a classic, but I'm picking City to win 2-0.
Jacob Leeks
Manchester City 1-0 Manchester United
Huge derby confrontations in finals are usually tight, cagey affairs, and Saturday is expected to be no exception. Erik Ten Hag has already demonstrated his ability to devise a strategy to counter Manchester City's superstar lineup.
If United is to stop Premier League golden boot winner, Erling Haaland, manager Jose Mourinho will require a man-of-the-match performance from goalkeeper David de Gea. While the Spaniard has had a mixed season, he has made crucial saves at crucial times and might feel at home at Wembley.
City's defense has been vulnerable at times this season, and United might score early. If they can do that while keeping their defense tight, the Red Devils will win the FA Cup on Saturday.

Manchester City vs. RB Leipzig: UEFA Champions League Round of 16 Match Preview
Tumblr media
On Wednesday, February 22, 2023, Manchester City will face RB Leipzig in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 matchup at Red Bull Arena. Manchester City, who made their first-ever Champions League final appearance in 2021, finished atop their group with a record of 4-2-0. Meanwhile, RB Leipzig lost their first two group stage matches but bounced back with four consecutive victories to secure a spot in the knockout phase. According to the latest Manchester City vs. RB Leipzig odds from Caesars Sportsbook, Manchester City are the favorites with odds of -122 (risk $122 to win $100), while RB Leipzig are the underdogs with odds of +325. A 90-minute draw is priced at +260, and the over/under for total goals scored is set at 2.5. SportsLine soccer expert Martin Green has analyzed the match and shared his picks and predictions. Green, who has been a professional sports writer and handicapper for years, has generated almost $33,000 for $100 bettors since the 2017-18 season. He recently crushed his World Cup predictions on the Early Edge, correctly backing the USMNT to advance, Kylian Mbappe to win the Golden Boot, and Netherlands, England, and Argentina to win their groups. The Citizens' defense has been impressive in the competition, as they finished group play tied with Bayern Munich for the fewest goals allowed with only two. Manchester City have kept four clean sheets in the Champions League, including three straight before defeating Sevilla 3-1 in their final group match. The team has allowed more than one goal in just one of their last eight matches across all competitions. Striker Erling Haaland has been Manchester City's top offensive player in the Champions League, scoring five goals in four games. The 22-year-old Norwegian is tied for third in goals in the competition and leads the English Premier League with 26 goals in 23 matches. Winger Riyad Mahrez and forward Julian Alvarez have each scored two goals in the competition as well. RB Leipzig have outscored their opponents 12-3 during their four-game winning streak in the competition. Christopher Nkunku and Andre Silva have scored three goals apiece, with the latter also recording three assists. Silva played a significant role in Leipzig's 2-1 victory against Manchester City in the group stage last year, scoring the decisive goal in the 71st minute. Nkunku, who returned to action in the Red Bulls' victory against Wolfsburg on Saturday after missing three months with a knee injury, is second in the Bundesliga with 12 goals. Timo Werner is the only other player on the team with multiple goals in the Champions League, having scored twice while adding a pair of assists. The 26-year-old striker is Leipzig's second-leading scorer in league play with five goals after recording only four with Chelsea of the Premier League last season. "I certainly don't see them bouncing back"- Chris Sutton makes surprising prediction for Liverpool v Wolves
Former English footballer Chris Sutton has predicted Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers to play out a goalless draw when the two sides clash in the Premier League on Saturday (February 4). The Reds travel to Molineux to take on Wolves for a second time in three weeks, with the Midlands side having suffered a 1-0 loss in an FA Cup third-round replay on January 17. While Wolves are 17th in the…

HONORS EVEN AT ANFIELD BETWEEN LIVERPOOL AND CHELSEA
Tumblr media
The last run of fixtures saw Liverpool lock horns against Chelsea at Anfield in Saturday night’s late night kickoff. The two Premier League giants have had a fair share history against each other, both in domestic and European competitions. With both sides coming into the third match week in riveting form on the bank of two comfortable wins in their first two fixtures, this match was thus predicted to be heading for a draw on paper; and so it was. Although Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel would be the happier of the two managers, the game ended with a goal apiece.
The blues went ahead with their usual 3-4-2-1 formation, under which they have found immense success in recent times. Edouard Mendy started in goal with a combination of Azpilicueta, Christiansen and Rudiger in the backline. Reece James and Marcos Alonso were the two wingbacks, with Jorginho and Kante in the middle of the park. Kai Havertz and Mason were the two supporting attackers, with new signing Romelu Lukaku starting up front. As with Liverpool, they were shaped up in the 4-3-3 yet again, with Van Dijk and Joel Matip as the center backs. Andrew Robertson and Trent Alexender Arnold started in the flanks, with Henderson, Fabinho and Elliot in midfield. In attack, they had the famous trio of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah. The referee in charge for this much anticipated encounter was Anthony Taylor.
The game started with Chelsea seemingly looking to have dominance over the ball during the initial minutes of the first half. Chelsea ace Kai Havertz headed home from a beautifully taken corner from Reece James in the 22nd minute. However, Chelsea’s joy lasted for only a short while when Reece James was deemed guilty of handling the ball on the goal line, resulting in a penalty for the Reds in the final moments of the first half stoppage time. The main talking point however, was the dismissal of Reece James by Anthony Tailor. Several visiting fans were fuming at the ones officiating the match because of the sending off, that put Liverpool in a pole position to take the lead in the second half. Some Chelsea fans even went on to even point out the history of a chain of decisions taken against them by Anthony Taylor on social media. However, the referee remained firm on his decision after having rechecked it through the VAR technology. Mohammad Salah then swiftly dispatched it from the spot to bring the scores level at 1-1, leaving the fans for the prospects of an exciting second half against 10-man Chelsea.
In what was a defensive call to fill in the gap, veteran defender Thiago Silva was brought on the pitch to occupy the center half position by compromising Kai Havertz up front, while Azpilicueta moved to the right wing back position. Midfielder N’golo Kante also had to be replaced by Mateo Kovacic due to an injury. Liverpool, on the other hand, brought in Diego Jota in place of Roberto Firmino in an attempt to bolster their attack and capitalize on the visiting side’s numerical vulnerabilities. However, Chelsea maintained a compact shape throughout the second half, thanks to their credible defensive record after Tuchel took over as the manger last season. Chelsea goalie Edouard Mendy was forced into action and made some a few extremely crucial saves in the beginning periods of the second half. At the other hand, a chance or two fell for Kovacic and Romelu Lukaku, however, both the two failed to make the most of it. At the final whistle, the Chelsea players were seen applauding each other for holding onto the score line against the fierce Liverpool attack, being a man short. The two German managers shook their hands and the match ended relatively calmly, as opposed to the row caused in the first half.
Even after the match, the penalty decision and the sending off continued to cause controversies and took the internet by storm. The Chelsea dressing room and fans were quite discontent with the red card, claiming that it was not deliberate from the young English full back. After Salah converted from the spot, Chelsea goalkeeper Mendy kicked the ball far out just as Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson was looking to claim it with his hands, which again led to a furry of heated exchange of words between the two sides. Mendy was then shown a yellow card for the same.
With this draw, Chelsea move down to the 4th spot, one ahead of Liverpool with the same goal difference. Having said that, it can certainly not be denied that the Premier League has already brought in the drama that it has always captivated its fans with. Elsewhere, while Arsenal’s misery continued with a demolition at the Etihad, Manchester United on the other hand are on utopia with the resigning of Cristiano Ronaldo and a win over Wolves.

April 19th, 2020
Tomorrow, April 20th, we will see The Blues host a match-up against foes from The Seagulls of England’s south coast.
At the time of writing, Liverpool has drawn 1-1 with Leeds. This makes our chances of Top 4 Glory more achievable. This match will prove to be of massive importance if we want our squad to contend in Europe next season.
But also who even knows what’s going on nowadays when it comes to Champions League? #NoToTheSuperLeague
Prior to tomorrow’s match, Graham Potter’s Brighton Hove and Albion sits 17th place in the Premier League. Coming off of a solid defensive performance against Everton which concluded 0-0, Brighton will look to preserve 1 point or perhaps even 3 points in their battle at Stamford Bridge. Tarik Lamptey who Chelsea fans should have a soft spot for has been ruled out prior to the match. Hopefully football fans can see the hard-working fullback in a competitive match soon. The English international Danny Welbeck was the last Brighton and Hove Albion player to find the net and it was in a 2-1 loss to this season’s likely runner-up Manchester United.
Following their defensive masterclass and Hakim Ziyech’s goal in a 1-0 FA Cup Semi-final against Manchester City, Chelsea are hoping to win and take 3 points from their match against Brighton Hove and Albion. For my predicted line-up against the Seagulls, I expect a 3-4-3 formation that can also perform as a 5-2-3 with wing-backs acting as full-backs or attacking wingers depending on the whereabouts of the match.
- At Goal, Chelsea’s number 1 will get the start and Eduoard Mendy will take control in between the sticks. Kepa Arrizabalaga performed outstandingly in the FA Cup tie against City, but Mendy is still our number 1 who will be selected for Premier League matches as well as Champions League matches. - In our 3 center back formation; Cesar Azpilicueta will hold the Right Center Back position, Andreas Christensen will play in the middle, and Antonio Rudiger will play on the right. It’s worked since Thomas Tuchel arrived, and it should fare well enough to successfully hold off Brighton’s attack. Though I’d love to see Thiago Silva and/or Kurt Zouma in the starting line-up, the back-line I predicted is has been consistent enough thus far to warrant their inclusion in my prediction. - Starting at Right Wing-Back position, Reece James will start following another very solid showing against Manchester City. Callum Hudson-Odoi should be heavily considered to be his substitute as he will bring an attacking threat that consists of pace, control, and attacking brilliance. It’s still Reece James who will start though because of his stubborn defending and efficient crossing ability. On the opposite flank, I predict that Marcos Alonso will get the start as Ben Chilwell should rest before Saturday’s derby against West Ham United. Left Wing-Back Marcos Alonso will bring his unique skill-set of goal-scoring ability and positional intelligence. Though he’s not the fastest defender at the club, he can be trusted to track back on defense when needed and his left foot is magic both on free-kicks and in open play. - My predicted midfield duo will consist of Jorginho and N’golo Kante. Football fans who watched the match against Manchester City should not be surprised with this selection as both of these players got the start and played brilliantly in the middle of the park. Mateo Kovacic has been ruled out to injury. As a fan, I would love to see Billy Gilmour get time on the pitch as I think he will be world class going forward. - On the right side of the front 3, I am predicting that we will see Hakim Ziech listed even though he will play more of a free-roaming attacking role. He will be displaying his technical brilliance while also using his wand of a left-foot to serve his other teammates on the attack. On the left, I predict Christian Pulisic will get the start. Whenever Marcos Alonso plays on the left, him and Christian Pulisic show excellent link-up play that usually results in goals. Mason Mount’s link-up play with Ben Chilwell was world-class against Manchester City, but I think he will see playing time off the bench for Kante or Jorginho in the midfield. Do not be surprised if I end up incorrect about him though. Through the middle of the strike-force, I want to see Tammy Abraham. He deserves playing time and he has the tools to be a fantastic striker, but I think Timo Werner will get the start. His pace poses a threat that Brighton defenders Lewis Dunk, Julian Veltman, Dan Burn, or Ben White will not be able to deal with. Olivier Giroud will be on the bench, but I hope the intelligent Frenchman Big Oli can get playing time as well. I hope to see Kai Havertz play off the bench as he has the class skill-set to play anywhere in the frontline.
Tomorrow, I back us to win 2-0. UP THE CHELS

English Premier League -- Arsenal VS Liverpool
Livescore | Match Prediction & Tips| Asian Handicap Odds|Line-ups& H2H Stats
-----------------------------------
Champions Liverpool continue their quest for more Premier League history when they take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night.  Jurgen Klopp's side suffered a setback in their pursuit of top-flight immortality at the weekend, while the Gunners will be looking to bounce back from their North London derby defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
Match preview
Whatever happens in the final fortnight of the 2019-20 Premier League season, Liverpool's exploits will go down in history - they shattered numerous records and wrapped up the title two games faster than any other team has ever managed in the English top flight before.   However, while the supporters would undoubtedly be content with 'only' ending their 30-year wait to be crowned champions of England, a tame end to the campaign would threaten to take some of the gloss off their remarkable achievements.  It was not long ago - at least in terms of games played - that Liverpool were being touted as possible Invincibles and treble-winners and looked certain to break Manchester City's 100-point record, having picked up 26 wins and one draw from their opening 27 games.  They have since won four, drawn two and lost two of their last eight top-flight outings, in addition to being knocked out of the Champions League and FA Cup - by no means enough to ruin their campaign, but certainly a drop-off in their previously unheard-of form.  Saturday's 1-1 draw at home to Burnley means that Klopp's side must now win all three of their remaining games - against Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle United - to break the points record, or take seven points from the nine available to equal it.
The champions are more than capable of doing exactly that, of course, but those three teams will be feeling a lot more optimistic about taking points off the Reds now than they were before lockdown.  The Burnley draw brought an end to Liverpool's incredible winning run at Anfield as they dropped points at home in the league for the first time since January 2019, and their recent away form has actually been poor.   Last week's 3-1 triumph at Brighton & Hove Albion ended a five-match winless and goalless streak on their travels across all competitions, during which time they conceded 10 goals without reply.  Of course, these recent struggles also need to be kept in perspective; Liverpool have still amassed 10 points more than any other team away from home this season, and victory on Wednesday would see them break all-time club records for both most away wins and most wins overall in a single campaign.  Klopp's side are now battling against those legends of the past for their place in the historical rankings of England's greatest ever teams, rather than any contemporary rivals this season, and while the manager has claimed that he is not interested in that, there would be a small sense of a missed opportunity if they fail to capitalise fully on such an incredible start.
More than one Arsenal side is in that same conversation of English football's best ever teams, but the current crop are a million miles away and the scale of the job facing Mikel Arteta was once again laid out for all to see during Sunday's derby with Spurs.  There were positives for the Gunners as they dominated the game for long spells, but they gifted Spurs both goals and it remains impossible to rely on such a shaky defence.  Arsenal have now thrown away a whopping 21 points from winning positions this season - a tally which, if added to their current points total, would leave them third in the table, only a point behind Manchester City and with Champions League football for next term already secured.  As it is, the derby defeat saw them slip to ninth, level on points with Burnley and with the possibility of a top-four finish now beyond them.  Instead, Arsenal's eyes must now be on qualifying for the Europa League again, although that could also prove problematic with seventh-placed Sheffield United four points ahead with only nine left to play for.
The derby defeat should not cast complete doom and gloom over the club, though, as they had been making noticeable progress under Arteta before that, winning four and drawing one of their previous five games.  The Gunners can also boast an unbeaten home record in the Premier League this calendar year - a run which includes five wins and two draws, most recently being held by Champions League-chasing Leicester City.  Wednesday's match will be Arsenal's penultimate of the season at the Emirates, with Aston Villa away to come before hosting Watford on the final day - two games which look kind on paper but will come against teams fighting for their lives at the bottom of the table.  It has been a difficult run for Arsenal recently too, with four successive league games against teams currently above them in the Premier League table and an FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City to come at the weekend.  The FA Cup may be Arsenal's priority now given the damaging nature of the derby defeat on their league position, but Arteta has already shown during his time in charge that he will not accept a drop-off in any competition regardless of its importance between now and the end of the campaign.

Team News
Arsenal will once again be without suspended striker Eddie Nketiah for this match as he serves the second of his two-game ban following his red card against Leicester.  Alexandre Lacazette made a statement in his absence with a thunderous opener in the derby, and he is likely to lead the line again with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in support.  The match features a number of Golden Boot hopefuls, with Aubameyang, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane all looking to retain the award, having shared it in a three-way tie last season.  Mesut Ozil remains a major doubt for the home side as he continues to struggle with a back injury, while Matteo Guendouzi is out of contention following a bust-up with Arteta.  Gabriel Martinelli, Bernd Leno, Pablo Mari and Calum Chambers are all expected to miss the remainder of the season for Arsenal, who have been hit badly by injuries since the restart.  Liverpool will also be without two key players for the remainder of the campaign - captain Jordan Henderson missing out with a knee injury and Joel Matip sidelined due to a toe problem.  Klopp is being cautious with the fitness of James Milner too, and the veteran midfielder is again expected to be absent for this one after missing out against Burnley entirely.  Trent Alexander-Arnold and Naby Keita are among the players who will be pushing for a recall to the starting XI, while Klopp must again decide whether to rotate one of his front three.  All of them boast impressive records against the Gunners, with Salah scoring six goals in six meetings, Mane notching four times in seven games since joining Liverpool and Roberto Firmino scoring eight times in nine appearances - his best record against any opponent.
Arsenal possible starting lineup: Martinez; Sokratis, Luiz, Holding; Bellerin, Ceballos, Xhaka, Tierney; Saka, Lacazette, Aubameyang
Liverpool possible starting lineup: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Keita, Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain; Salah, Firmino, Mane
Head To Head
Arsenal have a torrid record in this fixture recently, failing to win any of the last 10 meetings across all competitions and nine in the Premier League stretching back to April 2015.  They are often entertaining affairs too, with the most recent showdown ending 5-5 in the EFL Cup in October - Liverpool winning on penalties - and the last nine meetings producing 49 goals at an average of more than 5.4 per game.  The reverse fixture in the Premier League saw Liverpool run out 3-1 winners in August, with Salah grabbing a brace.

Huddersfield Town VS Wolves
Match Time:2/27/2019 03:45 Wednesday   (GMT+8)
English Premier League ---  Huddersfield Town  VS  Wolves
Livescore | Match Prediction & Tips| Asian Handicap Odds|Line-ups & H2H Stats
Huddersfield Town: Fifteen duels without a win ( Recent Form: L L L L L )
It is to become despondent as a Huddersfield Town supporter; almost every match, Huddersfield Town will lose the game this season. In the Premier League, The Terriers only won twice and then it becomes a difficult story to maintain. Together with Fulham, Huddersfield Town is not yet ready for the highest English division and it is also better for The Terriers if they play Championship football next season. Last season Huddersfield showed an added value in the Premier League, but this season is significantly less the case. Eleven points took The Terriers pass and thus relegation seems a certainty. Theoretically, there is of course still everything possible for the team of Jan Siewert, but no one expects Huddersfield to turn the tide. Last weekend The Terriers played against rival Newcastle United and that game was also lost: 2-0. It meant for Huddersfield Town again the fifteenth match in a row without victory and fourteen of those duels were also lost. Bitten dog on the Huddersfield Town side was Thomas Smith, as the English defender got red at St. James' Park in the 20th minute and injured his team. With 11 players, Huddersfield already has a tough time against every team in the Premier League and if you play with ten men for more than seventy minutes then it becomes a very difficult story.
Wolverhampton Wanderers: Amusing duel against Bournemouth ( Recent Form: W W D W D )
Bigger opposites than Huddersfield Town and Wolverhampton do not come across: the Wolves spend money as water, while at Huddersfield Town they like to keep their hands on their faces. The difference is also visible this season in the rankings: Wolverhampton is seventh and Huddersfield Town has to be satisfied with the last place. The fact that Wolverhampton is so highly ranked does not only have to do with the purchasing policy of the Wolves. Manager Nuno Espírito Santo also plays a major role in the success of Wolverhampton. That was already in the Championship last season when Nuno easily became champion with the Wolves on the second level and this season the Portuguese is doing very well. Wolverhampton has been unbeaten for eight games and would like to continue that series when visiting Huddersfield Town. It is the second away match for Wolverhampton in a three-day time frame, as the Wolves already played at Bournemouth on Saturday-afternoon. The duel in the Vitality Stadium ended in a 1-1 tie because both Bournemouth and Wolverhampton were accurate from eleven meters. Incidentally, the Wolves were lucky that they did not get the 2-1 in the closing stages, because Bournemouth got a penalty kick five minutes before time. The Cherries missed their ping and with that there was direct attention, because the offense was made outside the penalty area. All in all, at Wolverhampton they could eventually live with the 1-1 draw.
THE BETTING VERDICT:
After all, the situation of Wolverhampton and Huddersfield is now the exact opposite. While the visitors are uplifting, the host is at the end of the disappointment. It is not difficult to predict the outcome of this encounter.
Huddersfield Town  VS  Wolves
Pick: Wolves -0.5
