Being forcefully raised as a woman is not any less traumatic and emotionally repressive as being forcefully raised as a man. Femininity is not inherently pure and safe. Coercing someone to perform femininity is not any less toxic than coerced masculinity. Being dysphoric around femininity or having trauma from women doesn’t make you a misogynist.

i dont think fandom people who only think about male characters and only create content for male characters are like horrible misogynists but i do think they often have some shit they need to unpack. like how can you , for example, play life is strange and the only thing you come away with from that is you want nathan and warren to fuck nasty. how can you watch birds of prey, and the only thing you come away with from that is you want roman and victor to fuck nasty......... like idk! idk! i just find it strange especially when people will engage with media Specifically about women and then put no effort in to empathize or care about them, sometimes even going far enough to say they HATE the female characters and that theyre bitches... IDK!!!!

btw shallan is bi bc of me. i tweeted smth like "bsand did you know you wrote shallan as super into her beautiful talented mentor? like her whole pov comes off as so attracted to women?" and he replied like "it wasn't on purpose but looking back you are SO right" and then in book 3 or 4 one of shallan's alters (who is less concerned w social propriety than shallan so obviously she's where the attraction to women would go) has a bi moment. BC OF ME!!!!! here's to hoping for multiple shallan bi moments in book 5 🙏🙏🙏🙏

if Zoro and Sanji were both femme with tits Zoro would push her tits against Sanji's when they argue and Sanji would try to push back but alas Zoro's got those triple D bitties that Sanji is very angry and confused and a lil horny about

people actually sit here and believe that the whole point of gender is "man oppresses woman" and apply that to conversations about trans men. As if we exist as trans men just to oppress women bcuz ... apparently that's why gender exists. Great heavens.
I think they hate the idea that trans men are actually not oppressors, and are in fact oppressed, because its challenges their view of gender when all they know is "men exist as a class to oppress women" (which is... so radfem. And probably why all the "trans inclusive" radfems hate trans men)

A lot of you need to sit the fuck down and remember that cis women and trans women can be butches. because at this rate y'all are acting like it's a solely transmasc identity by conflating the experience of going on T and having top surgery as a universal butch experience. or god forbid, y'all equate butch to being a trans man

hot take but i truly do not believe meaningful feminist education or critical engagement of feminism can happen when your primary method is through celebrity stanning/stan wars. because i think if you truly did educate yourself about any facet of feminism, and critically engaged with it, you would not actually seek it in celebrities.

Hmrrmmm reader running a women's rehab / shelter for current / former sex workers in poverty, offering safety / food / shelter
Hrmmrmm Alejandro helping them when he can... he's so busy but he's got a soft spot for you so you know you can go to him for help :')
Alejandro who knows you have a history and doesn't push, but you genuinely feel safe with him
Alejandro who would never have anyone on his team that would be creepy or assault any women / victims but knows why you and the others are wary of men, so its only ever his most trusted who visit you or help you :')
Idkkk I need more Alejandro and unfortunately for me I'm into gentle masculine men and I feel like Alejandro would be so masculine but so gentle:') a little old fashioned, but it's appreciated when you haven't been treated well:')
When he greets you its kisses on your cheeks and eyelids, holding your hands, so sweet and tender :'D he and his vaqueros donate food/etc and you cook pastries for him in return
Sigh

“this story cant have [bigoted] themes, the author is [a part of that marginalized group]!” discourse is stupid as hell in general because it stubbornly refuses to engage with intracommunity issues and internalized hatred, or at least any more than treating it like a pokemon type chart, but one of the subtypes i get really annoyed with is when people go “how can this story POSSIBLY be misogynistic when a WOMAN wrote it?” yknow. when the whole “not like other girls” thing was a whole trend. and when transmisogyny exists. misogynoir. . homophobia against lesbian/bi/gnc women. hatred against women who dont want kids or are vaguely feminist. where there are several tropes that amount to “women DESPISES other type of woman who is inferior to her <3”. boymoms in general.
