Oh. INTRESTING. I just realised I should think about self ships more 😭 but okay here we go 😎
my self ship would be with Suguru. Definitely. Not the cult leader tho 😭 just a little rewind right there. You see the high school Suguru? Yeah cool. I only claim him.
>>> How would be better like when I'm off?
It'd definitely hurt him too with me. (because that's what I've seen with people around me, you know when that loud and bubbly one goes silent ?! Even though you know they'd be fine it's just so ouch. As if something's missing. Yeah, my personality is more or less like Satoru, he's ENTP I'm ENFP. which by the way, did you know? Fits INTJ in compatibility better hehe yeah I see him as a threat so what? 😤) and since his rationality is something I"d value, he'd have to do the tougher job of being my backbone rather than getting away with just sympathizing and giving me rational and "harsh truth" perspectives when I come to him with the problem that's bothering me. He knows if tries to be soft with me or bullshit me with sympathy I'd see it right away. So that.
>>> I HC our relationship to be such that it makes everyone jealous because he's definitely smiling and laughing around me more (not because he's smitten or sth, because I'm his personal clown ✨). That's what I am about most of the times. Hyped up over the smallest things. Hehe.
>>> Jealous. Huh. Interesting. I'm a women in stem, and you must know how the ratio is always so heavy on men"s side. So naturally I have a lot of them hitting on me at all the points of time. 😂
>>>And another thing is, I'm an extrovert socialising with people all the time so he might be annoyed on how to get my attention on him out of all the other people i hangout with (Again, not my words 😂😭) little does he know he has all of it since day 1. But that'd be only an issue before we get together, because he'd never know if I view him differently/romantically or not 😭 because "you're this energetic with everyone. How am I to know?"
>>> I and Satoru would definitely always be bickering over how he lets me get away with spam texting but not him. Hehe. Suguru's reasoning? "You're annoying, she's not *shrug*"
I say I don't think any self ships but then I go on full on spam mode (I hope you don't mind it, if you do please be honest about it and lmk like "I just asked for headcanons not a ONESHOT you idiot🔪) somehow wow😭 but yeah. That's how I see it, sunshine x grumpy (kind of?) Trope.
(Which made me think, neither of us actually like yapping about ourselves too much so we'd just be having hours and hours of discussions about different topics. The quality time discussion is a love language kinda couple. )
Now YOUR TURN. *hands over the pen*
lmfaoooo why not the cult leader sugu? he has such a dominant rizzly energy my self ship revolves around him and i’d bark like an animal for cult leader sugs 🙇🏻♀️🥹
-> also that’s so cute omg?? i am an intj/entj hybrid so i love myself enfps 🫵🏻 they bring such a lovely vibe around. (my irl best friend is an enfp) & i’d die for her. <33 suguru would love you so much, you’d be his breath of fresh air & when you go down, so does his existence. i hc him as super empathetic to people he cares about, so if you’re down, he’s rock bottom. :33 hello 👋 another stem major here’s your crown 👑 gorgeous ‼️ i’ve graduated in 2022 from stem so i know how the life’s like. 😉 suguru would be disgustingly jealous fr fr you attract everyone with your positivity.
-> suguru would definitely appreciate your bickering with satoru & blabbering. it would make him feel good that two of the people he loves the most are talking/being together 💋
grumpy x sunshine is my favorite troupe so this post made me intensely happy. 🪷🥰 also, that’s alright for the long post, only made fun of how people can see a character so similarly yet so differently!!
-> as of my own self ship headcanons, i’ll post them cus i’d yap more than you istg 😭 he’d love when i wear a saree tho ‼️🙇🏻♀️

Letter of Acknowledgement: ENFPs, from INTJ
Addressing the usual dynamic and clickbait of doom: INTJs x ENFPs. Directed to the lacking of ENFP flair in my closer circle of friends.
Dear ENFPs,
Where are you guys? I would really like to be close with one. I have met ENFPs but it does not seem to click. I actually attract Ne-users in my life. INFPs and INTPs mostly, given that I apparently have a warm and no-judgement vibe. I also suspect my Ni really just organizes their parent-Ne. My closest friend is actually an ENTP.
I know you ENFPs did not read a letter of acknowledgement only for me to talk about other Ne-users but the point is, there is a lack of ENFP pizazz in this INTJ's life. It is a shame. Even if I used to dislike the ENFP x INTJ for skeptic reasons, I found myself convinced that in theory, I can see how I would get along with an ENFP.
Simply: Fi is my tertiary function and ENFPs have it at their 2nd. Also, Te is my 2nd and ENFPs have Te as their Tertiary function. There's that level of admiration for the other party. Another and more common thing is that Ni interacting with Ne is so similar to transcribing audio into written words.
I did mention that I have met ENFPs and we did not click, by this I meant the friendship just did not become anything but a transaction. I had nothing against or for the ENFPs I have met. It just seemed to pass.
However, learning about how ENFPs are as well as hearing from online ENFPs talk about INTJs, I see no reason for any future friendships to just remain as transactions. It's a bummer because whenever ENFPs talk about INTJs past the stereotype, I feel acknowledged and welcomed despite how prickly I can be. I hope to find and experience being with an ENFP more. Maybe they're the personality type that can get me convinced to even consider having any romantic affiliation with anyone. Who knows? Surely not me, ENFPs seem to allude me.
Apologies if I did not return the favor of acknowledging or welcoming ENFPs as they have INTJs on the internet. I don't wish to describe something I cannot. I want to meet one and be sure how incomplete and incomparable the ENFPs are in theory to reality.
Regards,
INTJ

I am a DUMBASS who accidentally published this too early, if you saw it, no you did not.
Anonymous asked: which mbti types would you say are the best/worst matches for alhaitham?
Just a little heads up - this is strictly MY opinion and if you think I'm wrong then so be it. This is pure fun and take everything I say with a grain of salt. With that said, here are Alhaitham's best/worst matches right under the cut. For context, I think this man is an INTJ, enneagarm 5w6. Since I wrote this when he hasn't been released, my opinion might change in the near future.
BEST:
ENFP - I am such a SUCKER for the grumpy x sunshine trope and I think this man is ideal for it. Just imagine it - Alhaitham walking through the halls of the Akademiya, music blasting through his headphones, an annoyed scowl on his face as the loud ENFP continues tp follow him around, his heart racing a million hours an hour as he tries so hard to leave. He playfully lovingly bullies his ENFP partner. A very much opposites attract sort of situation.
ENTP - What an intelligent pair. Alhaitham loves talking to his ENTP, nothing is off the table and that thrills him. Playful banter is common but it gets heated, he never seems to mind though. Likes to act cool but in reality he loves it when the ENTP puts him in his place or cracks some witty/stupid joke. I see this pair as a partners in crime sort of thing.
ISTJ - He admires the ISTJ from afar. Everyone is so busy with their lives but the ISTJ takes no shit from anyone and usually has their prorities in check. This is something that the Scribe can't help but to be dazzled by. May or may not slip a few cheeky notes into your papers, just to see how the ISTJ would react. He was the one who fell in love first.
WORST:
INTP - The personality clash is too much to handle. Things could probably start off great but everything spirals out of control because both individuals are too focused on their own tasks and are too stubborn. Feelings may or may not linger, it depends on the enneagram of the INTP. Mutuals bitterness would sadly come to pass.
ENTJ - Another potentional partners in crime pairing but again, Alhaitham does not understand the powerful ENTJ. The ENTJ partner probably has high expectations of the Scribe which kind of kills Alhaitham's vibe.
INFJ - Has the makings of being a match made in Heaven but the constant butting in of the INFJ would just frustrate Alhaitham. He doesn't need anything to be fixed, he can take care of himself. Just over all no bueno.

MBTIs are classified in 4 groups, right? how are they divided exactly?
well.... not exactly. IF IVE MANSPLAINED AND LIKE YOU MEAN SOME OTHER 4 GROUPS IDK ABOUT TELL ME. alert for mild cognitive function talk that will hopefully somewhat explain itself. functions are basically ways of processing your experiences. here's a post that leads to a post if you want to learn more by the end of the article. the smaller text is this function talk.
16Personalities divides 'mbti' .... (THEY EXPLICITLY SAY THEYRE NOT DOING MBTI SO ITS ALL FAKE OKAY in the house we do not stan 16P because its they made their strange thing up and stole mbti stuff basically for it but ofc much respect for all the attention its brought to mbti though) .... into four categories yes, but that's not an mbti thing, that's a 16P thing
in 16P they're divided (with X's being unkowns): XNTX, XNFX, XSXJ, XSXP
anyways its an interesting grouping system..... essentially what they've done is divide the N's into stronger thinkers (logic/systems) vs stronger feelers (values) and divide the S's into percievers (who will use their sensing function externally and tend to be more sponatenous and dynamic) and judgers (who will use their sensing function internally and tend to be more organized and reliable). It can be relatively helpful when trying to type people - each of these gorups do have a slight vibe to them that you will get acquainted to.
i think another interesting way to sort the types would be to do so by their first judging junction (thinking/feeling functions) because it tends to equally noticeable in all the types. // read: while percieving functions (sensing/intuition) may be obvious in one type they may not be obvious in another. so, the judging functions at Extroverted Thinking (Te), Introverted thinking (Ti), Extroverted Feeling (Fe), Introverted Feeling (Fi)
This sorting would look like:
Fe: esfj, enfj, infj, isfj
Fi: isfp, infp, enfp, esfp
Te: entj, estj, istj, intj
Ti: intp, istp, estp, entp
Hopefully, this sort of a grouping may also reduce the S vs N gap (??)

Vibe-spotting: INFJ
>> “Wait, you’re an introvert?!” Of all the 16 types, INFJ is the hardest to spot. While they could be seen daydreaming in the shadows, they may also be the life of the party. Because they are curious about the human mind, enjoy learning about and understanding people, and are invested in their friendships, they’re the most outgoing and social out of all the introvert types, to the point where they’ll have others fooled into thinking they’re an extrovert. But if you examine their patterns more closely, you’ll realize they are indeed true introverts, internally-focused individuals who need alone time to recharge. Because they are so perfectionistic, they’ll only socialize when “mentally prepared,” as socializing requires a lot of effort for them. Last minute hangouts are not their cup of tea; they prefer to arrive put-together and “ready” to engage. When busy introverting, they’ll hide for days to recuperate and you won’t see them, and will emerge only when they have the energy: thus presenting a perfectly crafted picture of themselves to others as being social or charismatic ALL. THE. TIME. At 1% of the population, INFJs are the rarest and most easily misunderstood type, and the “veil” of extroversion makes them even harder to pin down.
Even though they may be quite social, respecting their (oftentimes unrecognized) need for space and solitude is a must; they can become burnt out and irritable if they don’t get enough alone time.
>> May seem slightly menacing or intimidating. May initially seem cold, as if they’re judging you, but that’s because they’re working out who you are with eerie accuracy and hope to advocate for you. Once they do, assuming they like you, they’ll unrelentingly support your visions, help you reach your full potential, and encourage you to be your highest self. They are actually quite friendly, peaceful, and warm-hearted. They can be unexpectedly pushy and forceful for an introvert, hence the “J” in INFJ.
>> Something otherworldly about them, they seem to have an inherent wisdom (hence INFJs are often portrayed in fiction as characters such as Dumbledore, Gandalf, Yoda). They dance to their own rhythm, seem a bit psychic, can predict how situations will unfold frighteningly well. This also applies to social situations, though they can have random socially clueless/ oblivious moments.
>> Can seem accessible on the surface, but is secretly very private. You’ll think you’ve gotten to know them, only to discover another layer. Despite being guarded themselves, they can be quite probing in getting to know *you,* which they’ll do with keen insight and perceptiveness. You may find you feel more comfortable revealing your true thoughts and secrets to an INFJ than you do other types. The fact that they’re able to be so highly accomplished and bring so much energy into living out their goals and dreams only contributes to the aura of mystery. Although they’re daydreamers with vivid imaginations, they are equal parts dreamer and doer.
>> The most cerebral, intellectual, and rational out of all the Feeler types.
>> Often staring off into the distance, zoning out. But when they really *look* at you their gaze is intense and penetrating as if they’re x-raying your soul. However that same that same gaze can also make you feel safe and adored.
>> Can get irritable if they feel their time is being wasted. They often seem slightly restless as if they’re always on a schedule. (Hence the “J”).
>> Take what they say at face-value. Don’t bother trying to ‘psychoanalyze’ them, you’ll only wind up more confused. Because they’re highly complex, you can be assured no one knows them better than themselves. They tend to avoid people who are unnecessarily critical or abrasive. This is primarily because as perfectionists, they are already so hard on themselves; they set high expectations for themselves and don’t like to let others down. They often have very specific reasons for doing the things they do, and act out of what they believe to be the best intentions, so others’ judgments may only contribute to their already present patterns of feeling misunderstood or isolated/alienated.
>> Express themselves better through writing, so may hide behind a screen as as a replacement for actual socializing. It’s okay to remind them that facebook messages and texts can’t replace face-to-face interaction.
>> Dressed simply but well.
>> Best matches: other INFJ, INTJ, INFP, INTP, ENTP, ENFJ, ENFP

What is your take on rwby chara's mbti types? I think
Weiss - xSTJ, thought that she was ESTJ at first but ISTJ makes a lot of sense too.
Winter - ESTJ
Pyrrha - ESFJ
Emerald - ISFJ (I've seen some ppl type her as INFJ but I don't see how she is a Ni dom?)
Whitley - ENTJ? I'm honestly not sure abt that..
Adam - fucked up xNFJ, probably INFJ (seen him typed as xNTJ but his delusional thinking process imo screams unhealthy Ti and I think his manipulation of Blake and the WF is more Fe than Te
Qrow - was thinking ISTP but with the more recent volumes I'm really not sure..
Penny - ENFP
Ozpin - Uuuuuh INTP maybe?? But I've seen some people type him as INFJ. INFJ 5w6 would make sense as to why he might appear as an INTP but idk..
Bartholomew- ENTP
Jaune - no fucking idea honestly
Ironwood - ENTJ
Sun - Seen ppl type him as ENFP but I don't see any Ne at all..,,ESFP?
Yang - ESxP, maybe ESTP
Cinder - INTJ
Mercury - ISTP
Oscar - ISFJ
Ren - ISTx?
Hello anon ! I see my love for typology hasn't gone unnoticed 😂 Thank you so much for the ask !
I prefer enneagram over MBTI because I find it easier to type; so fair warning that I'm not an authority on MBTI-typing. But I do have have an ongoing RWBY typing that includes MBTI sooo... here goes !
(I'm putting my ennea typings along with it, but not explaining them on this post)
➸ RWBYJNPR
Ruby • xNFP 6w7 9w1 2w3?
I just can't decide between the two fors Ruby because... it kind of goes both way ??? Like Ruby definitely feels as INFP for the first half of the series; she's got a clear Fi > Ne preference... But then when she develops her Tert in V6 it's just... Te ? And she really doesn't show much Si actually she fits more the Si inf vibe in the form of forgetting about bad memories and her mom until people dig it up and she's like "nooo !" ?? So it looks like Te > Si but also Fi > Ne; conclusion idfk
Weiss • ISTJ 1w2 6w5 3w4 sp/so
Clear Fi tert rearing its head along with the 1 so I'm going with ISTJ; I also never really saw any Ne. Her type isn't too disagreed upon so tell me if you want a lenghtier explanation.
Blake • ISFP 6w5 9w8 4w3 (in some order)
Wooh this might get the anger of some (i have experience with the INFJ typers) but Blake goddamn REEKS of Fi. Less so recently but for the first seasons oh my god. She straights up catch you by the shirt and tells you "I'm doing the right thing"; and said right thing is so heavily dependant on her own subjectives values, which is why Blake can't reconcile with the current White Fang; because she doesn't have a strong Je vision of "what objectively works in the end", she only sees actions in terms of immediate right and wrong, and this b&w dichotomy stems from herself. What the WF is doing is wrong and the circumstances don't matter for judging the morality of their actions (of course I'm not talking about murder here bc that's pretty wrong ALL THE TIME but for example the stealing occuring in V1 bc of the WF is a better example)
Yang • ESXP 7w8 8w7 2w3
I'm sorry about that but I can't help you on that aspect anon, I still can't make up my mind about whether Yang has Fi or Ti. I have seen arguments for both, and i'm not the best at picking up on Ti so it's hard for me to tell.
Jaune • ESFJ 6w7 3w2 9w1
No strong opinions on his MBTI, it's kinda just based on vibes
Nora • ENFP 6w7 9w8 3w2
Textbook ENFP, not much to say here x))
Pyrrha • XXFJ 2w1 1w2 6?
In my list Pyrrha is currently written down as ISFJ but that's mostly based on the general consensus and me wanting to get rid of the XX. I don't actually have any convincing arguments to decide on Ni or Si, so I could go either way if someone else makes their case well. I feel like she's Fe aux more than dom, but even about that I could change my mind. Pyrrha didn't have that much screentime in the end :((
Ren • ISTJ? 9w1 5w4 4w5
Ironically I'm not sure about his type, kind of like you. I've mentionned I'm not very good at picking up on Ti right ? And Ren was a background character before V4 really. I had him written down as ISTP for a while but I've seen some convincing arguments for ISTJ so I might lean toward that actually but who knows. The thing I'm very confident about is his 5 fix = )
➸ Faunus bonus
Sun • ESFP 7w6 2w3 9w1 so/sx
I don't see any Ne at all either so I don't understand the ENFP typings...?? Maybe the 7 stereotypes ? Imo Sun is just a very good boy; certified ESFP 7 himbo; triple positive sunshine !
Ilia • Ti-Fe axis ?
Again, not enough screentime for me to make an educated guess. My only certainty is : not high Fi. It's the source of their conflicts. Blake confidence in absolute right & wrong, tracing lines in the sand between acceptable & unacceptable. Whereas Ilia can only shake her head and say "Because it works", or cry out "I don't know what else to do !"
Adam • 3w4 8w7 6w5
I honestly don't really have much of an opinion about Adam's MBTI, i'm sorry anon ;; I don't know enough about how he thinks
➸ Oz-related things and his circle
Ozpin • INFJ 5w4 2w1 1w9
I would personally call him an INFJ. I... never really got INTP vibes from him ? I don't see the Fe inf work out with his interactions : he's always rather at ease, he knows how to navigate around people... His focus inherently lies on doing what's best for the "group", the people, humanity. Fx functions are both concerned with ethics, in different ways, and I think Oz reflects that well. He IS concerned with the moral weight of his actions, but it's a more adaptable and unpersonnal concern than Fi people. He regards Ironwood's soul machines as something wrong, but can still agree to use it if the situations demand it for example. So... if the INFJ + 5 makes sense to you, well that's what I'm typing him personally. I also feel like Ni fits him more than Ne. Ozpin has a very linear way of planning, he does use his fair share of symbolism in every day conversation... Even when taking decisions, he... kind of cares about the meaning of things a lot ? It's hard to explain but like; the way he highlights the difference between an army and a guardian, and the emotionnal response it brings. I don't know it feels like there's some Ni vibes in there x)
Oscar • ISFJ 9w8 6w7 3w2
Oscar's type honestly isn't the one I would have the easiest time explaining in lenght but yea. It's mostly vibes; also just like Ozpin he doesn't seem to have a particularly Fi reasonning. And he feels more grounded, I don't really remember any Ni so... yay ?
Ironwood • ENFJ 6w5 1w2 3w4 (pre-Vol8); ENTJ (post-Vol8)
Might be weird if you think he was a dictator from the start, but I kind of entertained the idea of Ironwood being Fe dom ? From his very first interaction it was very clear that he was a Je dom to me; he's all about objective results; he doesn't give off the "internal framework" or "personnal values" vibe AT ALL; so it was more a matter of picking Te or Fe. He LOOKS super Te don't get me wrong; but he also has an enneagram tritype that is very common amongst XXTJs (and TJs stereotypes thus derive from it). And just like Oz, his focus at all time seemed to be the greater good and doing what's best for the people still. So I was like... Eh, a "harsh" ENFJ I think that's interesting ? Plus Fe ethics actually derive from their environment, kinda like "everyone agrees that Y is wrong", and if you consider that James is from Atlas... Well his way of thinking and ethics align pretty well with the military.
His character took a turn for the worse in V8 (whether too quick or not depends on who you ask) and past that point he's a clear ENTJ; but I feel like it was more debatable before that. Idk though I might be overthinking this in the hope of making more interesting combinations xD
Qrow • ISTP 4w3 6w7? 1w9? sp/sx
I don't really see anything else than ISTP for Qrow... But he's not a character I would want to find Ti arguments for either.
Raven • ENTJ Cp6w5 8w9 3w4
Most villains get called ENTJ at the first occasions tbh zlqfznhqzkf but I think it fits Raven for the most part actually...
➸ Atlas
Winter • ESTJ 1w9 3w4 6w5
The whole Schnee family has the same enneagram tritype in different order/different wings, it's ridiculous I think she has a higher Te than Weiss, and Fi inf fits her more. She struggles more to reconcile with her emotions and the idea of a personal right/wrong than her little sis.
Penny • ENFP 4w3 6w7 9w1 sx/so
Perfect example of a healthy 4, she's a great friend a cutie pie. ... Sorry we were talking about MBTI x) Well again, textbook ENFP. Not much to debate here.
Whitley • 3w4 1w9 6w5?
Not enough material for me to guess a MBTI type correctly either, sorry... I could see some kind of xNTJ yea but it's really just vibes and not enough concrete.
➸ Antagonists and Extras
Cinder • 8w7 3w4 6w5
Never cared to guess her MBTI type. I hereby type her as insufferable qkfqskfq. More seriously, I don't really know sorry Anon :/
Emerald • 2w3 ?w? ?w?
I never got Fe vibes from her tbh, I just think she's a 2. And Fe as a function is very infused with 2 stereotypes. So yea. Like, she isn't even that worried about the morality of her actions or anything more than the other villains. She just cares more about her personal relationships and being loved, so she automatically looks much nicer, especially with 2 mechanisms of trying to make herself useful and needed. Also because she's surrounded by 8-ish people xD
Mercury • 8w9 7w8 ?w?
ISTP doesn't sound too farfeteched, but I never MBTI-typed him either, sorry.
+
Bartholomew Oobleck • xSxJ 5w4
The only vibe he gave me is Si somewhere because of all his talks about learning from the past and everything repeats itself and it's a mine of informations at Mountain Glen... That's really the only time I tried to put down anything for him, and it was Si + 5. He could be some kind of xNTP nerd too for sure, but that's more vibe and I couldn't make an actual argument for it.

Best long-term relationship for ESFJ?
I can only tell you what relationships I've seen ESFJs in (from what I remember, because the tag is too long to run through to check out all the spouses), not which ones are best.
STs! Particularly ISTJ, ISTP and ESTP (for STPs, works best with two stable people - ISTJs can balance more instability on their own). I've seen them marry ESTJs, but it's mostly been political couples (who have possibly broken up?) - the ones I saw dating on the Bachelor, for example, seemed to think it was more of a sibling vibe (ESFJ woman with ESTJ man). It does happen pretty often on tv, though (eg. Angel & Buffy - come to think of it, I’ve only ever seen this work as ESTJ woman, ESFJ man.)
NTs! Particularly ENTJ. Possibly some NTPs and INTJs, but no examples are coming to mind. I'm pretty sure it's only ESFJ women marrying NT men.
SFs. They date and marry ESFPs a lot (most common rom-com couple is ESFJ woman and ESFP man, hands down), but I don't think it works long-term very often. ISFPs are common. I've seen some ISFJ women marry ESFJ men, but that has not seemed to go well, either.
NFs. ESFJ women marry ENFP men. I can't recall if I've seen it the other way around. (Not sure if I've seen one married to an INFP man, but it seems likely that it would happen.)
Edited Apr 2024:
The most stable relationships for ESFJs are with STJs. Even then, ESFJ men with ESTJ women is not 100%.
ESFJs date and marry a lot of SF types (mostly not their own), which works out maybe half the time.
ESFJs date and marry ENTJs and STPs, although I have found more instances of this working for ESFJ women than men. They occasionally date ENFJs (briefly).
Other than ENTJ and ENFJ, there hasn't been any working ESFJ man x N-type woman relationships to mention, but ESFJ women often marry ENFPs and INTPs. They also occasionally marry INFP men.

May I please hear your Mocktropica headcanons?
Absolutely!! I have quite literally hundreds but I'll try and filter them down into the most relevant ones.
Prior to the "executives" taking over, The World Wide Headquarters used to scout out bright university students from all over poptropica (especially game show island) and offer them internships working for literally, poptropica itself.
Mark Hertz was one of these interns turned full-time employees. He won Game Show Island the year after the player did with his bot 'Watson', who was the first robot (not counting the player bc they're a poptropican) to beat Holmes in DECADES. This is what made him so appealing to Billy Jordan who insisted on having him join the programming department.
Billy Jordan, Lance Pitcher and Max McPatrick were the head of their respective departments, and pretty much had a The Office vibe going on throughout the entire thing.
The island? It literally only consists of the Headquarters, the university, the dairy farm, the cheese factory, that cafe, that trench and the mountain. There is absolutely nothing else out there. (If the location existed irl, it would be smack bam in the middle of the Netherlands)
Lance Pitcher paid his way through university doing furry art commissions on devaintart in the early 2000's until he eventually found himself at The world wide Headquarters.
There is a link between The World Wide Headquarters and the time agency in Mystery of the Map!! (I forgot the name hnsggsggg pls forgive me) I know both stories present very different takes on the lore but,,, they're linked,,, and the time agency was forced to become a completely separate branch and pretty much forfeit all connection to the world wide headquaters after the incident ^tm (which may have something to do with Octavian is a rejected mc theory 😳😳😳 you guys should totally check that theory out im obsessed-)
Mark Hertz worked full-time at TWWH for about 3 months before it was bought out by the Excutives, however during those months he was pretty much used a coffee boy for the programming department. So when they offered him a uh, """promotion""" he was easily manipulated into talking it.
He sold the jet plane he won on game show island and invested ALL of the money on Mega Fighting Bots.
The Excutives are literally. 100% unironically extreme capitalist who are impossibly chaotic. I like to imagine as much as they hate each other they kinda have a found family dynamic going on,,, and that all they have is eachother,,, but the only thing they have in common is being money-driven nd that's enough for them :,)
Also Billy, Lance & Max kinda have a similar found family thing :,))) and Billy was like a father figure to Mark which is why it took the excutives convincing him that the man couldn't care less abt him to finally make the switch ("He shipped you over from game show to do what? make coffee? you're no different from the x amount of other employees to him. But that's not what we see.") when it couldn't be further from the truth.
I'm also highkey obsessed with MTBI's so my hcs for theirs are;
The Focus Tester is an ENFP, The Safety Inspector is an ISTJ, The Ad Sales Lady is an ESFJ, The Cost Cutter is an INTP, Billy Jordan is an INTJ, Lance Pitcher is an INFJ, Max McPatrick is an ISTP, and Mark Hertz is an ISFP.
Also idk if many people care but i also have many age hcs,,,
The Focus Tester is 58, The Safety Inspector is 27, The Ad Sales Lady is 38, The Cost Cutter is 30, Billy Jordan is an 55, Lance Pitcher is 34, Max McPatrick is 49, and Mark Hertz is like 22.
Steamworks Island was an abandoned project that was accidentally released and they just kinda. never did anything about it bc they wanted to see what would happen.
The Excutives don't have any ((braincells)) experience whatsoever in game development but they're HUGE weebs (especially for 80's mecha anime) which violently contrasts with literally everything else about them. ("what a great day of oppressing 99% of the population time to watch some neon genesis evangelion")
To conclude, HNAGAHSHSHAJAMSKEIJSHZGABWNEHGS I LOVE THIS ISLAND SO MUCHHH I HAD TO FORCE MYSELF TO STOP THERE. A A A A
#poptropica#mocktropica#mark hertz#billy jordan#max mcpatrick#lance pitcher#my brain consists of poptropica and poptropica alone there is simply nothing else#i am unable to express just how OBSESSED i am with this island please it's been almost seven years and im still on my bs#i have some name hcs but i don't take them as seriously bc everyone's are gonna be different hsjsjdhjds#i will simply never shut up abt this island#thank you for the ask... i am v grateful that i get to infodump

What is mbti?
That really depends on who you ask, so I'm just going to answer it the way you'll be seeing it on my blog: it's a shorthand way of referring to people's cognitive functions.
3 things to understand
Mbti is A shorthand for a FRAMEWORK. A FRAMEWORK of how people's minds work - not a personality/behaviour rulebook. You won't relate to your mbti type descriptions all the time, because they're just predictions of behaviour based on cognitive functions.
There are 16 types - 16 function stacks - and 8 cognitive functions. The type names help you remember which functions an individual can have.
Cognitive functions. This is the part of mbti that is most important. In fact, FORGET THE LETTERS. It's all about the functions. There are 8 functions. Every one has all 8, but they preference four for everyday life. To learn more about the functions you can read #fun functions posts. The way the functions interact is important.
Cognitive Functions????
There are two directions for functions - internal (intraverted) and externally (Extraverted). There's no such thing as an ambivert, because it's not about socialness. It's about how your mind is working.
There are perceiving functions - how you take in information - and there are judging functions - how you filter information.
Perceiving functions
You can either be a sensor or an intuitive. Don't think about this in the way the terms are generally used, sensors don't go around rubbing things do understand the world around them.
Short explanation: Extraverted perceiving functions seek possibilities, and intraverted perceiving functions create an internal framework.
Put simply, sensors perceive the world around them through physical things, and intuitives perceive the world around them through... Vibes.
Intraverted sensing (Si) notices small details in its world (body, house, etc) and creates an internal framework based on these details. It favours past experience, and methods that it knows have worked before.
Extraverted sensing (Se) notices bigger details in the world around them (subtle details, like who's looking at who and who might like each other). It favours learning through experience and being present in the moment.
Intraverted intuition (Ni) picks up on vibes. Some say this isn't possible, and Ni can't really explain how it is. It creates a framework of the world internally, and tries to predict the future based off past behaviours and current vibes. It can get weird.
Extraverted intuition (Ne) can get weirder 😂. It gets vibes, but instead of creating a framework it creates possibilities. Did the vibe mean x, y, or z?
Judging Functions
You can either filter your perceptions through thinking or feeling. No, this is no emotion vs logic. Many feelers are very good thinkers. I'll explain it in a minute.
Short explanation: intraverted judging functions filter their perceptions through their own internal thoughts/logic (Ti) or feeling/morality (Fi). Extraverted judging functions filter their perceptions through other's thoughts/logic (Te) or feelings/morality (Fe).
Intraverted thinking (Ti) isn't too bothered if you disagree with its logic. They care that things make sense to them personally, and won't think something just because everyone else does. They're the reasons the rule 'thinkers speak of thoughts and feelers speak of feelings/people' DOESN'T WORK. Ti is intraverted. It doesn't often share its thoughts. This doesn't mean Ti users don't care what anyone thinks, but it does leave them vulnerable to that weakness.
Extraverted thinking (Te) is bothered if you disagree with its logic, and will try to convince you it's correct. This is why Te users often speak of ideas. This doesn't mean Te users will think anything the majority of people do, but it does leave them vulnerable to that weakness.
Intraverted feeling (Fi) is kind of the opposite of Ti in a way. Fi users don't need your approval to believe they're right. But they still want you to agree with them. They want you to share their morality, because they believe it is right. Fi is more about a feeling of morality than emotions. This doesn't mean Fi users are self righteous, but it leaves them vulnerable to that weakness.
Extraverted feeling (Fe) is about other people's feelings and ideas of morality. Fe users often don't know how they're actually feeling, so the idea they talk about their own emotions is WRONG. They talk about other's emotions. This doesn't mean Fe users are pushovers, but it does leave them vulnerable to that weakness.
Function stacks
Every person preferences four functions. Their first function determines if they're an intraverted or Extravert (nothing to do with people!). The direction of the functions is the opposite of the one before (I, e, I, e). The two middle functions are either two judging functions or two perceiving functions.
If you lead with an Extraverted judging function, you are called an E**J. So no,
Judgers are not judgy
Depending on whether you have Si/Se or Ni/Ne in your first two functions, you are either an S or an N type. And depending on whether you have a T function or an F function first, you are called a T or an F.
The list of types
Enfj - Fe Ni Se Ti
Infj - Ni Fe Ti Se
Entj - Te Ni Se Fi
Intj - Ni Te Fi Se
Enfp - Ne Fi Te Si
Infp - Fi Ne Si Te
Entp - Ne Ti Fe Si
Intp - Ti Ne Si Fe
Esfj - Fe Si Ne Ti
Isfj - Si Fe Ti Ne
Estj - Te Si Ne Fi
Istj - Si Te Fi Ne
Esfp - Se Fi Te Ni
Isfp - Fi Se Ni Te
Estp - Se Ti Fe Ni
Istp - Ti Se Ni Fe
How you use the functions
You use the first function (primary function) without even really realising it.
You use the second function (auxillary function) when making a basic decision. It supports your first function.
You use this function (Tertiary Function) when making a tougher decision. If you get too stressed and get in a loop between your first and third function, you'll probably start doing dumb stuff or inventing conspiracy theories.
You use the fourth function (Inferior function) when you're a little stressed or sad. You don't really have much control over it. You probably find it hard to relate to people who lead with your inferior Function.
Shadow functions
Like I said, everyone has all 8 functions, but the final four are barely used, and are like the shadow of your personality. They're the opposite direction of your first four. (So for an Enfj (Fe Ni Se Ti) their shadow is Fi Ne Si Te).
You use the first Shadow Function when you feel stuck, to consider new options. You probably like people who lead with this function.
The second shadow function is your critical parent. You use it to tell yourself and others off. You may feel like people who lead with this function are always having a go at you.
This is the function you use to spite people, and make sure neither of you are happy. You probably think people who lead with this function are mean or manipulative.
This is your Demon function. If you go here you're severely depressed. You may mind people who lead with this function simultaneously boring and hard to connect with, and attractive and ideal.
Personal Twist
I personally believe you can see the first function in someone's eyes, as well as the difference between Fi and Fe. I have some posts about that #mbti eyes. It's hard to explain, but from experience it works. You're looking at how the brain works after all 😉
Anyway
If you made it to the end of this and like it, enjoy my blog. Otherwise, I'm not really looking for an internet fight 😂 Pls don't kill me for my stupid Ni-Ti ideas. Just laugh and go on your merry way.

MBTI as people i know
INFP The INFPs I know are probably the people who know the most about me? They can be judgy at times, but when they know it’s serious I trust them the most to not give me a look. Would I go to an INFP before my mother? probably. They’re really bad about eating regularly—sometimes they’ll send a text at seven pm that says “oh i forgot to eat?” Which makes me worried. They’re very sensitive to noise and surroundings, more so than other types. They tend to get really deep into something when they like it; they aren’t casual about their favorite things. They check in on people and really don’t like to burden others with their problems. At low points, they’ll wish someone would check in on them. Really good at focusing on one thing, but tends to struggle with five things at once. Negative side is that sometimes she gets so wrapped up in things/her feelings that she can’t really pay attention to her surroundings.
ISFP She’s kind of mysterious; I know bits of her past because we’ve been friends for a long time, but I wouldn’t know otherwise. She takes humor and throws it into her life; she tells great, hilarious stories, but seems too spaced out to really use that as a function. Sometimes she rambles off, almost lost in thought. She seems careful to not interrupt other people, she’s very polite. Sometimes, though, she can be really present in a conversation and it’s almost scary. We both find the same things funny; the most random words and phrases will pop into our heads and we’ll start laughing our asses off. Hufflepuff vibes, cares about other people but can be awkward in showing it. Doesn’t really know what’s going on, but is along for the ride. Never self-deprecating but never, ever arrogant. Kind.
INFJ The two INFJs I know really like mbti and I talk about it with them a lot? I don’t know if this is common within the type. The INFJ has strong moral code. Kind, cares about others. Very polite, seems to know what to say when. Has dreams and then also has an idea of how to get there; it’s not as strictly planned and straightforward, but it’s there. Somehow a soft voice (or maybe buttery?), regardless of what they’re saying. Has a good sense of the world, of how the world is; likes classifications, categories in the world. Unafraid. Negative side is that it’s hard to argue with INFJs because they have such a deeply rooted sense of self, and can take things very, very seriously.
ISFJ This is someone I’m placing here based on my semester’s observations. He loves telling stories about his life; when we talk, he’ll always be reminded of something that happened recently or even a long time ago. Gives advice in the form of a good story. Has a warmth about him, always smiles and waves. Gentle. He asks how everyone is doing, makes sure there’s a good group dynamic; will move and push things aside for people. Gives off huge Hufflepuff vibes, big suburban dad vibes. Will tell you how he feels and isn’t afraid to express his affection in words; an open book with all his life. Loves what he does and loves learning, isn’t afraid to be wrong and acknowledges when he doesn’t know. Downside is I fear people take advantage of his goodness.
INTP Gentle, but has his opinions. Stubborn as hell; likes to debate about abstract theories and things. Enjoys chasing the why. Private, takes a while to open up. Loves his planner but more for doodling and writing his thoughts than actually planning. Never sees his opinion as the way---is cautious to never assume he’s always right---but he’s right a lot of the time. It’s possible a tiny part of him knows it. Patient, willing to let me ramble for years on end before saying his bit. It’s like he tastes his words, swishes them around in his mouth before saying them. He’s sweet.
INTJ Sees things in black and white with little to no grey areas. Sometimes corrects my jokes, which is…. Ouch. Takes things very seriously, but never seems to be driven by a passionate feeling. Loves learning, but isn’t interested in being a part of academia. A nice nerd. Makes you feel like you know him, but then he’ll tell you he has a dog and you never knew that. A really good person in the sense that he keeps to the rules and tries to do the best for everyone. Very private. Likes routine, sticks to similar outfits and the same colors. Jokes may not be laugh-out-loud like some people’s, but they’re always clever and smart. Enjoys indie music. Can be a little awkward or uncomfortable, especially if it’s a new situation. Not the best at thinking on his feet.
ISTP Always has a good time; laughs loudly with his friends. Thinks well on his feet--writes limericks and jokes on the spot as opposed to doodling. Never really plans things but is open to hanging out whenever, is laidback, doesn’t really try but manages to do well in everything. He’s somehow both put together and a total mess. Clever, witty. Can be a little bit of a showoff, apparently, but I’ve never seen that side of him. Makes a lot of self-deprecating jokes, but easily transitions into insult humor with his friends. He doesn’t really seem to change much around different people. Terrible at chess. Somewhat understanding, I think sometimes he can get stuck in his head a bit.
ISTJ I sit across from him on the couch and I ramble to him, he tells me stories in such a concise manner. He tends to focus on what people say and what really happens in the story. Rational, straightforward. He sees things more in black and white: this happened, this didn’t happen. Really good at debating and arguing things. I always lose. He’s sharp and so funny. He doesn’t mind so much making fun of people at their expense; in fact, most of his friends are the same way and they all have a good time. Unafraid to tell me when to shut the fuck up, especially when it’s needed. Clever, analytical, very good with numbers. Somewhat impatient.
ENFP I love her so much; energetic, balanced, she has a laugh that makes my heart flutter. When she finds things funny, she’s unafraid to show her feelings. She lives vigorously. She’s really funny; there’s a wit that lives in her. She goes by her feelings a lot. Knows there’s something in her gut and follows it through; gives sound advice because her gut is always, ALWAYS right. Sometimes doesn’t trust herself even though she really should. And when she goes back on herself, it turns out badly and she gets confused and insecure. Another ENFP I know is so gentle and warm, and very, very good at making and keeping connections. She’s soft, but in the best way: she loves and loves and you can feel the warmth spreading from her fingertips into the air. I worry she takes on too much; both are unskilled in the saying no department.
ESFP I used to know her relatively well as a kid, but we’ve split up since then. She’s so energetic and loud. The two words that are most apt are social butterfly: she flutters from person to person, bright and passionate, dragging everyone along to the next adventure. She can’t control her excitement--she stands up when she gets excited. She offers to drive her friends places, especially if they don’t have a car (it’s on the way or she’s got time). Popular, well-liked, always smiling. Will walk up to someone she hasn’t seen in years, or maybe someone she barely knows, and has this skill of making them feel known. Her energy, sometimes, can be too much, though.
ENFJ She feels things deeply. Looks out for everyone in a situation. Makes lots of jokes to help others feel comfortable, or to make herself feel more comfortable (usually self-deprecating jokes). Good at understanding what you say even when you speak gibberish. Bold. Talks with everyone, and is very cool. Chill. Doesn’t really change drastically in different environments; she is who she is. Smart, especially in a practical sense: also has a real gut intuition and just Knows what’s right emotionally. Decisive, trusts her feelings and sticks to them. Stands up for what she believes is right—she makes me proud to be her friend. Negative side is that sometimes she feels like the way she sees things is the only way; if something is obvious, then it should be obvious to everyone.
ESFJ Another one of my closest friends. Goes on coffee runs for people, is willing to go way out of her way to get people home safe. Knows what she wants and gets it. Is unafraid of talking to people, asking for help, or even texting people she doesn’t know. The glue of a group, consistently checks in. Well known throughout, but doesn’t strive to make her name known; it’s just who she is. Very popular, good-hearted. She enjoys calling and FaceTiming people—what more can I say about that extroversion? Spreads love and joy wherever she can. Negative side is that she can get absorbed in her feelings and sometimes she doesn’t see how she’s affecting other people with what she’s saying.
ENTP So, so cocky. The one person I know of this type is someone I’ve placed here myself. Sharp, cutting…Biting sense of humor that makes the room come alive but never feels bitter. Tends to mock the people he likes the most. Very blunt: doesn’t dwell on the past but thinks about what he can do next. Can’t really listen for the sake of listening, he needs a purpose. Enjoys attention. Thinks well on his feet but terrible at planning; leaves things vague and doesn’t feel specifics are necessary. Tendency to make observations and translate them into analysis, but without any feeling or personal input involved. Intimidating. Maybe, maybe cares under 78 layers of doesn’t give a fuck; will never say how he feels.
ENTJ She never understands my complaints because there’s always a simple solution: just do x, y, z. She’s supportive, but not in a cheerleader way. She’s quick, good at getting things done; smart and tries hard even when she makes it seem like she doesn’t care. She sticks up for her friends and isn’t afraid to call someone out on their bullshit to their face. Uses reason and logic to get her way; great at debating and arguing, and seems to always hold herself together even when she jokes about a mental breakdown she had earlier. Has a nice laugh and always has interesting facts in her head. Knows her shit about music. She jokingly adopts a holier-than-thou attitude about some things, but everyone knows it isn’t to be taken seriously (and if you don’t know that, then you definitely aren’t friends with her). She can do impulsive things, or get dragged into impulsive things. Can think she’s always in the right and that other people are wrong.
ESTP Electric. I’ve never known her up close, so I can’t say much, but she has this energy that makes you look up when she enters a room. Knows how to have a good time. Can be a bit cutting or rude, especially to people she doesn’t know; doesn’t really care about who someone is, she has to say what she thinks is right. You primarily have to earn her respect. She’s the type who will walk up to a stranger to compliment their shirt. Enjoys being in the spotlight to the point that the spotlight naturally rests on her, it’s attached to her. Seems absolutely fearless, even though she may have doubts inside. Has taken her identity and made it into a badge of honor. Doesn’t plan things herself, but falls off that metaphorical cliff and lands in a catlike way, defying gravity. She maneuvers life having perfected improvisation.
ESTJ She, like the ISTJ, thinks so logically. But there’s something else to it: whereas the ISTJ is more independent and sticks to their own, the ESTJ wants to go-go-go. Always has a plan or an idea in her head, always wants to go out and do things, regardless of what. Loves making plans almost as much as I do. She sticks to her facts and has a tendency to forget feelings in the equation. She thinks in such a linear manner, going from A to B to C. Thorough. Bright, cheery, and loves her everyday. Negative side is that she latches onto facts and outside opinion wherever she can: instagram likes, the people who respond to her texts, her reputation according to others. She doesn’t consider how she should feel, especially internally.

The INFJ-Enneatype Mix
by emeraldsea (X) (X)
A glimpse of what INFJs of each enneatype tend to look like, with a focus on positive traits of psychologically average to healthy individuals of each type: INFJ Type 1 Very strong on values, they are like a bulwark, and you can count on them. In mentoring and counseling others, they are extraordinarily gifted in achieving the perfect balance of holding others accountable in a gracious but firm way, while trying to help them work through their issues. One of their strongest ethics will be kindness - their ethical fortitude, combined with Fe, makes for someone who will be very loving and gracious. Their demeanor won't be overtly emotional but it will have an emotional undercurrent you may be able to sense, a "flair" about it - it's hard to put this into words. 1s in general are very self-critical and perfectionist by nature, and they will notice in the environment where others aren't living up to their ethics, and are likely to try to inspire, direct, or prompt them to do so. An INFJ 1 will do so, but with the magnanimity and sensitivity of Fe. they often crusade for a cause; or they may become courageous, inspiring, effective agents for social change. Their 1 core, combined with Fe, will look a lot like Fi, so they may seem to be INFPs; but they aren't. INFJ Type 2 One of the warmest, most friendly, almost extrovertish-seeming INFJs, they thrive on making connections with other people. This INFJ is likely to talk to you first, befriend you, be overtly compassionate and empathetic, and help you out in any way possible. You won't be able to miss their Fe ~ they will be encouraging you, being sweet to you, all the things you expect from Fe. For instance, if you are in the hospital, this INFJ is likely to anticipate what all your needs may be - come and bring your family food, drive your kids around to their errands, then visit you and try to cheer you up (thus appearing ISFJish in behavior at times). They may feel obligated to help anyone who needs them, and find it difficult to say no. They will want to spend time with you, lots of it - they show caring partly through quality time - and they want a reciprocally warm relationship. So they aren't going to seem distant, emotionally disconnected, or cold, nor will they come across as introverted as they really are. Because of Fe's drive towards harmony, an INFJ 2 is going to be more focused on the health/harmony of the relationship and, because of that, highly in tune with how they think others feel about them, more so than 2s already are...and therefore more troubled by lack of reciprocity or problems in the relationship. INFJ Type 3 The humanely-driven-for-success INFJ, for whom affirmation is bread and butter. I have rarely seen this combination on this forum, so this information is a synthesis of theoretical data. They would be driven both to be, and to appear to be, very good at whatever they do. Success and the esteem of others would translate to security for them, so whatever their role is, they would try to be the very best possible at that role. Therefore accolades would be welcome - since they would care what others thought of them - and they wouldn't be shy to have positive attention drawn to themselves. In interacting with them, you would find them extraordinarily charming and likeable and caring...while not overtly emotional (they would tend to suppress their emotions, although a 4 wing might change that). Within each setting, they would intuitively be able to determine what others were expecting of them, and what was deemed as success; and - unless those expectations or standards of success conflicted with their Fe values - would do their best to live up to that ideal, and be afraid to fail. Likely, they would feel an internal conflict between their independent thinking (Ni) and the thinking of society at large (what society considers "intellectual" or "acceptable patterns of thought"), and also struggle with society's definitions of success through stepping on others to get to the top since that violates their Fe. So they would be likely to be principled in that they would have a problem with achieving success at cost to others or in a way that would have to put others down in order to elevate themselves. INFJ Type 4 The artsy INFJ that typically has a penchant for eye contact, who can talk to you with their eyes, they are going to seem like they understand you, and you are likely to feel safe around them. They are going to have their soul wed to some form(s) of art (it could be painting, drawing, music, literature, dance, photography, acting, etc.), through which they express their wide range of emotions, because they are very emotional people. What 4s feel, they feel deeply, no matter what the emotion...and INFJs feel the feelings of those around them via Fe - so INFJ 4s are deeply empathetic. They are passionate, can fall into very dark moods, and can appear dramatic (although a 5 wing will temper somewhat how much of that shows) or, sometimes, focused on their own problems. When in the middle of a dark mood they may withdraw from everyone for periods of time, but an INFJ 4's Fe can drag them out of self-absorption if someone in emotional crisis needs their help. They're drawn to reach out to you during the darkest crisis points in your life and really be there for you - they know how to deal with the most severe of emotional states and are drawn towards the melancholy element of life. They will prize authenticity and being true to themselves, even if this means diverging from convention, so they often have a unique flair. Highly individualist, don't expect them to follow the crowd in how they present themselves. Creative by nature, they are typically not boring conversationalists....yet, at times, their topics may naturally veer towards and linger upon the poignant or tragic elements of life...or their own problems, for which they may expect your emotional support. INFJ Type 5 The INFJ who may wonder if they are actually INTP or INTJ, they will come across as thinkers and will have a lot of interesting insights. If you are fascinated by the theoretical, you will probably be able to talk with your INFJ 5 friend for hours about their thoughts about life ~ and will find that they have a voracious hunger for knowledge and a very analytical mind. They will be sensitive to your emotional states and care about them because of their Fe, while not coming across as emotional or invasive, and tending to be detached (although a 4 wing will temper that). 5s in general want to be independent, and don't deal well with clinginess or people who "invade" their space too far or violate their privacy, so they may not initiate contact or open up as often as some enneatypes. An INFJ 5's Fe will make them seem more extroverted than they really are. Fe concern about others will be expressed in ways native to the 5 interaction style, which is less self-revealing (unless in a place they feel safe) than that of some enneatypes. There is a subtlety and depth to them that is not always recognized by those who don't know them well. 5s with Fe can seem aloof even though they have very warm feelings inside, because of this...the better you get to know them, the more you realize how much rests below the surface. and even when they aren't with the people they care about, they think about their connections with them and feel closer to them. During solitude, they nourish their internal love towards others and sometimes become aware of feelings they weren't conscious of, before. if they become aware of feelings during your absence, they may spill them out suddenly when they are around you again...in a somewhat gushily affectionate way, at times. INFJ Type 6 The "unswervingly loyal friend" INFJ, this friend, once they trust and become devoted to you, can be counted on through thick and thin, no matter what. This is not to say that other types aren't loyal; loyalty definitely isn't limited to 6s; but 6s are notable for this. They are likely to be there for you, supporting you, and "fairweather" isn't in their vocabulary. An INFJ 6 is usually kind and likeable, empathetic, and very understanding in a down-to-earth, "make you feel comfortable" way. They may (depending on the direction their core fear takes) have a noticeable strength about them, a fortitude and courage that can persevere through difficulty or - despite profound fear - act heroically on behalf of those they care about. They very actively read others and try to sense where others stand in relation to one another and themself, and are very intuitive. 6s in general may doubt how others feel about them or whether others can be trusted. Cp6s in general feel a need to look strong or be proactively confrontational in order to protect themselves, but they are softer than they appear, and a cp6 INFJ is going to temper their tendencies with diplomacy, and use that ability to protect those they care about as well. INFJ Type 7 The "happy-go-lucky"-ish INFJ, since their 7 mimics Ne in certain respects, complete with the typical ENFP playfulness, there will sometimes be an ENFP-ish vibe. An INFJ with 7 influence in their tritype is likely to get asked "Are you happy all the time?" or "Are you ever not happy?" by those who do not know them well. While Fe can make any INFJ appear extroverted, it is especially pronounced in those with 7 in their type, because 7s tend to be outgoing, and find happiness in the company of others. INFJ 7s would most likely be typed by others as ENFJs or ENFPs, seeming energized by socializing while possessing the contrarily strong drive to get needed solitude. So one would expect an INFJ 7 to struggle with the introversion vs. extroversion dichotomy and find it difficult to land decisively on either side of the spectrum. Inhibitions may be lacking (but the restraining hand of Ni would hold the INFJ back often, by predicting potential negative consequences of giving in to impulse). Clinginess by others is quite disturbing to them, but their Fe is likely to make them feel an obligation to be kind anyway. Fascinated by a wide variety of things, they will attempt to stay a step ahead of what could make life miserable, or escape the inevitable struggles of life through indulgence in mood-elevating activities. This opens the door for entanglement in such activities, because of the addictive emotional high they provide. 7s with a 6 wing tend to joke around a lot, or enjoy making others laugh. 7s are drawn towards the positive side of life, so they try to cheer up others around them or repel negativity. An INFJ 7 would likely use humor to dispel a negative situation, or to restore harmony and positivity in conflict settings. INFJ Type 8 The passionate, straight-talking, natural-leader INFJ, they are intensity incarnate. There will be a palpable warmth about them (because of Fe), combined with strength - without their having to show off their strength, you will knowthey are a force to be reckoned with. INFJs in general are sensitive to and tend to be guided by their intuition, but an INFJ 8 will rely on their gut even more. They'll be able to suss you out quickly and know who you are and what you are capable of, and sense if you are being dishonest, more so than INFJs already do. Fe makes INFJs protective of those they care about, and a healthy 8 is driven to defend and protect anyone they care about - so the combination of the two is double-protectiveness. 8s in general are comfortable in the presence of conflict, while Fe favors harmony, so an INFJ 8 will have those two conflicting attitudes within, which will be evident in their behavior. 8s in general do not want to appear weak and have a need to protect themselves from those who might try to control them, and there are people in the world who deem certain tender displays of Fe as "weakness," so it's likely that an INFJ 8's Fe will look quite different on the outside from that of other enneatypes, although it will be experienced the same on the inside. They will really care about people, and they will feel things deeply, and a healthy 8 will use their dominance and position of power to benefit others. INFJ Type 9 The easygoing, empathetic INFJ with a calming presence, they are easy to talk to, easy to be around, diplomatic in how they interact with others. Their Fe is very evident, in a somewhat understated way. They will be there for you and listen empathetically and know how to comfort you. they want you to feel comfortable around them, and they strive for a harmonious environment, and know very well how to make both happen, often with remarkable skill and charm. They will dislike conflict more intensely than most enneatypes - if they have a 1 wing, they may be avoidant of it in general; and if they have an 8 wing, they may be reluctant to engage unless necessary or angry, but not afraid of it. 9s may intervene between those in conflict in order to re-establish peace. 9s in general seem passive and relaxed, although they have a strong, passionate will about whatever matters to them; you may not see their strong will unless you try to force them into something they don't want to do. Caveat 1: Take into account that an environment where anyone feels secure, or psychological growth, is going to bring out the traits of the enneatype in the direction of their "integration." Conversely, a stressed-out individual will appear like a not-so-healthy version of the enneatype in their direction of disintegration. While certain behaviors are typical of each type, behaviors themselves are not diagnostic of enneatype - motivations are - and various types can share the same behaviors while having very different motives for them. I am just pointing out what certain INFJ-enneatype combinations TEND to look like (there will be exceptions and the same type can look very different depending on their psychological state at any given point in time)...since some combinations tend to follow distinctive, recognizable patterns of behavior. Caveat 2: The descriptions I gave largely represent (psychologically) average to healthy versions of those enneatypes. While enneagram theory tends to focus on the negative traits, I was focusing more on the positive and the most obvious traits here. so these aren't intended to be complete delineations of the behavior of each type, just some traits that are easy to notice or recognize when interacting with these types.

hi! i just started following you and honestly, i'm OBSESSED. i can't believe it took me this long to find this page. i'm infp and i can 100% say that all these posts about them are hilariously true! you've got me to ship INFP x ENTJ and most importantly, i'm in love with ENFP and INTJ dynamic. they definitely give me sunshine x grumpy vibes and enemies to lovers kinda feelings. they're fighting at one moment, and then something happens to enfp? suddenly INTJ FLIPS OUT AND THREATENS EVERYONE? like hello?
can you pleaseeeee me more about their romantic dynamics and how it would all pan out? me, an infp, a hopeless romantic, is definitely rooting for them. ALSO MORE ABOUT INFP AND ENTJ.
(okay so theres gonna be a whole load of these posts coming through but heres some little snippets and headcannon type things so far- but pls look thro some of the other posts !!- intj)
ENTJ and INFP
- infp talking animately over their favourite disney movie and entj just staring at them , transfixed and j nodding along not really listening but god damn why are they so cute ive lost all rational thought ability
- entj starts to realise they have feelings for infp and being all like no no way this isnt happening before giving in and being like dammit this is happening i must protect them at all costs im theirs now
- entj feeling such warmth blooming in their chest every time infp looks at them with such faith and loyalty cause it makes them feel as if they can do anything , and for infp.. they really would do anything
- infp adoring the way entj can be all focused and straight forward and loving how entj makes them stronger and more determined everytime entj encourages infp and supports them in whatever they do
- cue entj's breathe hitch as they forget how to breath every time infp absent mindly intertwines their hands with entjs or nuzzles into their side while watching tv
- infp being the one person around whom entj lets their guard down and entj being the person around who infp feels safe, secure and its with them that infp realises that they no longer have to get lost in daydreams cause for once real life is just as great..maybe even better
- moments in the dark of night where theyre reading together and entjs reading in a whispers that echo off the walls while infp runs their fingers through entjs hair , getting lost in their voice and into the world of the story thats being brought to life
- simple moments just existence in peace together , no words need to be said for they both already know that its in the others company where life seems to run by best
INTJ and ENFP
- intj going around insulting and being sarcastic to enfp all day but the second anyone else even indirectly says anything against enfp ..there'll be war
- intj feeling oh so special and proud whenever enfp acconplishes smth little (or not so little) and being like aww look at this ball of sunshine (*heart melting j a lil*)
- intj ever so subtly recpricoating enfps feelings by litlle thungs like playing with their hair , having a hand on enfps shoudler, resting their chin on enfps head ..just these subtle touchs which might seem like nothing but enfp knows means a whole lot more
- enfp trying to get intj to be all happy(!!) and more excited(!!) about life while intjs just there like 'can we go home p l e a s e'
- intj being all like yes theyre an idiot but theyre MY idiot so wherever they go ive gotta be there
-enfps literally acting like a puppy on sugar for every small thing while intj just tags along very amused and having fun while watching enfp completely lose their mind over something as simple as a light up keyboard or smth (intj will never admit this but they admire how enfp manages to find such joy in everything..makes the world seem that much more wondeful)
- arguing about almost everything and intj resolving to being cold and distant but if enfp walks in all teary eyed then screw it *cue intj silently walking up to enfp, gingerly tilting their head up and looking right into their eyes and murmuring in words dripping with danger "tell me who did this to you" (even god cant help the person who messes with enfp)
