Both Cartoon Universe and Reel James hinted at a big cliffhanger at the end of season 6 in their “spoiler free” reviews.

But Cartoon Universe explained how the very beginning scene of Aaravos crying ends up coming full circle by having the audience at the very end find out why exactly he was crying.

“Somehow they managed to take some of the best content they ever wrote and show it up in the finale with something so twisted I feel like it should be illegal to do in children’s television.”

What happens to 80s & 90s anime that arent streaming right now when VHS & DVD completely go away?

The obsession with micro everything, everythings a sound bite, everything is 5 to 7 seconds, even songs, the chorus IS the song now, noone else ever hears anything else.

Only sports, reality TV and competition games can be watched week to week in real time.

All TV series now have to be immediately binged and consumed.

Its essentially bulimia.

I'm almost done with The Hunt For Kyoshi's Ch 12. It's not very long (word count wise). I know I know. TT0TT All these months and.... it's not long orz Tbf it's just the initial draft! As I write the next few chapters, I tend to go back to old ones and re-read them like 1000 times. And I'll add and change stuff around. So it might get longer.

Which means I'm not dropping it any time soon. I want to get through..... say.... chapter 15 before I take another break (planned this time!). Which should be the end of the first arc. (debating on how ch 14/15 go. Either 15 will merge with 14, or 15 will be a very short chapter).

This is partially cause....I personally think the cliffhanger for 12 would be very mean/"illegal" if I drop it and then.....god forbid I don't post for another few months. TT0TT Same could be said for Arc 1's final but still jfksdalfja TT0TT

Right now I'm outlining Arc 2 right now so I can jump right into it when the time comes. (also the beginning of Arc 3 too cause I wasn't sure when to cut Arc 2 off, and I found a good stopping point)

Still trucking along with A Thief in the Avatar's Estate. A good portion of CH 11 is almost done. This one is twice the length of Hunt's tbf. I have decently good idea how Arc 2 needs to go down, but I should really outline it out. I need to think about Arc 3 more (I have an idea but I need to figure out how to handle the direction more).

Ok, I like the QSMP, and I've been watching it from Phil and recently Tubbo's point of view, and what I can say about the current goings on of the events today is that it feels... Sad and sour.

Let me explain, it is sad because the eggs are gone in such a way that there is no clue if they will return. It is sad because we can see all the people on the server, new and old, deeply love the eggs and were desperately looking for answers. It is sad because there are no clues of what is currently happening.

I say this is also sour because there are completely no leads at the end of all streams today and Cucarucho, and by extension the Federation, tried to push the people (or at the least Tubbo) to go back about their daily lives like the eggs don't matter.

That is what is sour. The federation is treating the eggs like they are nothing. Like they don't matter, and people should be happy and go about their daily lives without these sweet characters that the people know so well. This is sour because there are no clues on what happened; we are ambiguous on whether the Eggs are alive, and we have no clues on what happened to them. Their beds are still there and have each egg that was still "alive"'s identifier item on them. It makes us ask questions and worry. But a good cliffhanger shouldn't leave the watchers or characters with 0 clues of what is going on or what will happen next. Even in real-life stories with cases like this, there are at least clues on what might have happened, something to start an investigation, even if it goes cold. In this case, there is none of that. All we and the SMP members have is the knowledge that something happened to the eggs between Thursday and today and that something happened to further crack the eggs between Wednesday and Thursday. We don't even know if any of this was the Federation's doing or not; the last time the Federation messed with the eggs, they made it clear something was going to happen; this time, there was no warning, and they blatantly refused to answer questions or deal with anything "illegal" that was going on directly. They were blatantly ignoring the player's request for any information at all, even when Tubbo held Cucarucho at none answer point. That all feels sour and makes my ambivalence for the federation turn entirely to "I will anarchist against the federation and fully support Phil Lamanberging the island."

And I sincerely hope that answers will come before the federation realizes they have angered the people they kidnapped enough that the "world eater" Tubbo tried to build, was small talk in comparison to the Lamanhole or 2B2T's spawn chunks.

Unless they want to turn the whole server to adventure mode, they better give some answers, because I will fully support the call for blood the crows and other chats will call for.

Season 1 had a PERFECT ending. It set it up really well for a second season but also wrapped things up enough that if it got cancelled it would still be satisfying. THEN the season 2 finale (aka the series finale) left it on total cliffhangers. Literally every storyline was left on a cliffhanger. Horrible. The fact that it was cancelled should be illegal.

Nothing about Remy’s cryptic message, nor the rather impressive house — mansion, Roman had insisted on correcting him, this is a freaking mansion, specs — he had asked them to meet him at had done anything to assuage Logan’s worries that his friend was involved in some sort of sketchy business.

After college, Remy had told Logan that one of their platonic soulmates had offered them a job, and that it would involve a lot of travel. Logan had been happy for his friend and naturally inquired as to what the job was. Remy told him it was a secret.

For nearly a year, Remy had traveled around the U.S., sending Logan a postcard from every city he went to, and FaceTiming him once a week. He never gave Logan any details of what the job entailed, nor whether or not he had any travel companions. They denied any insinuation that they were doing anything illegal with a laugh, and assured Logan every time that what they were doing — whatever it was — was not in any way sketchy, illegal, or at all immoral, but with no details provided to the contrary, Logan maintained his doubts.

The postcards had stopped several months ago, and Remy had been in the same location — what looked like a home office, decorated to Remy’s own style — for every subsequent FaceTime. A week ago, he’d sent Logan a text inviting him and his two soulmates to a ‘launch party’ at his boss’s house (mansion) along with the time and location. He had not answered any questions about exactly what was being launched other than that he thought Logan, Roman, and Patton would enjoy it.

“Are we just going to stare at the door?” Roman asked and Logan made no move to ring the doorbell. Remy had not left instructions for what they should do when they got to the house, though it seemed fairly obvious that they should ring the doorbell.

“I have become even less sure that Remy is not somehow mixed up in something dangerous,” Logan admitted quietly.

“Aww Logan,” Patton wrapped his arms around Logan’s middle comfortingly. “I don’t think they would have invited us to anything they thought might be dangerous!”

“Besides,” Roman continued. “Launch parties don’t usually have insidious purposes. They’re probably working for some tech giant or something — maybe we’re here to witness the launch of the next big social media platform!”

“…yes,” Logan finally replied. “That does sound like something Remy would do; and you are right, Patton, that Remy would not invite us if he thought it would be dangerous.” And with that, Logan rang the doorbell.

The chime from the doorbell lasted at least thirty seconds and followed a tune that seemed familiar to Logan, though he could not quite place it — likely a pop song but played on bells. Soon after the chime finally ended, an older woman with her hair in a tight bun opened the door.

“Can I help you?” She asked doubtfully.

“We are looking for Remington Sonno,” Logan said. “They sent us an invi–”

“LOGAN!” A familiar voice yelled from slightly further in the house.

“Please come in.” The woman nodded and walked away, leaving the door wide open behind her. Logan stepped inside, followed by Patton and Roman, and barely made it three steps before Remy was sliding down the polished hardwood hallway directly into him.

“Oof!” Logan stumbled slightly but managed to maintain his footing as Remy wrapped their arms tightly around him.

“Gurl, it has been too long!” Remy lamented.

“That is hardly my fault, Remy,” Logan stated, wrapping his arms around Remy in return.

“Fair,” Remy laughed. “I’ve been busy, but that’s why tonight is so exciting!”

“Tonight?” Logan asked.

“The party,” Remy clarified. “It’s good. I’m so proud–” Remy cut themself off with a shake of their head, a fond smile gracing their lips. “But that’s for later, I wanted you all to come early so I can spend time with you.”

“And yet he doesn’t deign to greet us,” Roman sniped playfully.

“My deepest apologies, your highness,” Remy pulled back from Logan so that he could bow deeply. “Roman Prince, it is an honor to be graced with your presence once more.”

“Thank you,” Roman bowed his head benignly.

“And Patton!” Remy smiled, opening his arms for a hug that Patton happily accepted. “Lemme give you guys a tour of the place!”

The mansion was expansive. Remy led them through a kitchen which was bustling with catering staff, then through the ballroom where workers were busy decorating for the party that would occur later in the evening, then up a grand staircase, and down a hall. They stopped every now and then to point out interesting pieces of art on the walls or if a door led to a specialized room. Eventually he led them back down a different staircase and out a pair of French doors onto a breezeway.

“So that was the main house — or most of it anyway, there’s more, but it’s Joan’s personal space so no tour of it,” Remy explained, gesturing back to the house they’d just left as they walked. “These are the gardens — we can explore them later if you want — but back here,” they gestured down the breezeway to a second, smaller — though still rather sizable — house, “is the guesthouse. That’s where I’ve been staying.”

“Your employer is very…” Logan trailed off, unable to think of an adjective that both properly expressed what he was feeling while also not potentially hurting Remy’s feelings of insulting their soulmate.

“They’re not as bad as they seem,” Remy shrugged nonchalantly. “I know this is all a little much, but they’re not as out of touch as this makes them seem.”

The four of them had just reached the door to the guesthouse when Remy’s phone went off, they checked it quickly before grimacing.

“Sorry, babes, my boss needs me for a bit, but feel free to make yourselves at home,” he opened the guesthouse door and gestured for them to go in. “You can explore if you want, or if you want to wait for me there’s a media room up the stairs, down the hall to the right, take a left, then third door on your left — I shouldn’t be too long, but we’ve got a bunch of video games or movies, whatever you want.”

“If you’re sure…” Logan trailed off uncertainly.

“Of course!” Remy laughed. “¡Mi casa es su casa!”

“Bye Remy!” Patton called as Remy rushed back down the breezeway to the main house.

The three soulmates entered the guesthouse and were immediately faced with a small problem: the stairs weren’t visible from the door.

“Well…” Patton frowned. “They can’t be that hard to find if Remy didn’t tell us where they were. I’m sure the answer is stairing us in the face!”

“And Remy did say we were free to explore,” Roman pointed out, opening the nearest door — it led to a coat closet.

There were three options for the three soulmates to choose from: straight, left, or right. None of the directions showed any obvious signs of house hidden staircases but figuring Remy had given them the directions slightly out of order, they chose the right hallway.

The hallway contained a few doors — all of which Roman opened, and all of which turned out to be a closet, a utility room, and a bathroom — before opening up into a kitchen. Tucked in the corner of the kitchen was a staircase, so they followed it up and went to the left.

The third door on the left was not a media room, but rather the office that Remy had been FaceTiming Logan from. The second and digest doors weren’t media rooms either; neither were the fourth or fifth door.

Having exhausted the doors to the left, they tried the right, then the right hall. The right hall led into more halls, so they continued that way, opening doors as they went, none led to media rooms. Eventually, having followed the confusing halls of the house as well as they could, they somehow ended up back at the top of the stairs to the kitchen.

“It’s been a while since a house has given me the runaround,” Roman shook his head in disbelief.

Logan was about to suggest waiting for Remy in the kitchen, when piano music began to drift up the stairs.

“Someone else appears to be here,” Logan commented.

“Maybe we can ask them for directions!” Patton suggested.

“Maybe they’re in the media room,” Roman added.

They followed the noise down the stairs and through a different doorway than the one they had entered the kitchen through. The doorway took them to a formal dining room, then into a moderately sized ballroom. As they walked through the ballroom the piano music solidified into Chopin.

Across the ballroom was a smaller room with shelves filled to the brim with folders and books. On one wall, there was a variety of musical instruments hanging from displays.

In the center of the room, there was a person with dyed purple hair and a patchwork hoodie playing a grand piano. The person’s back was to the door, and all three soulmates were too entranced by the music to make their presence known.

As the song came to a close, Roman saw his opportunity.

“Hey, excuse me?” He called, a little too loudly after the trance that all four of them had just been in.

The pianist startled, their hands slamming down a discordant cacophony of keys as they jumped a little too much. They ended up falling backwards out of their stool and sprawling out on the floor at the trio’s feet. Mismatched green and purple eyes blink up at the soulmates.

“Sorry, kiddo!” Patton yelps, concerned for the other person’s wellbeing. “We didn’t mean to startle you.”

“Shit!” The pianist gasped, scrambling up to their feet. “I mean fuck– um, no. Shit–” Logan’s eyebrows shot up in surprise, and he was certain Roman and Patton must be feeling it too. “Sorry, I just– uh, I wasn’t expecting anyone to be here this early. Sorry.” Their soulmate finished, somewhat lamely.

“Ah, it would appear that you are our final soulmate,” Logan said, his mouth working even as his brain tried to catch up — because not only was this their final soulmate, but it was also Virgil Knight! “My name is Logan.”

“I’m Patton!”

“And I am–”

“Remus?”

Reality came crashing down on Roman. His soulmate was famous musician Virgil Knight, former bandmate of convicted murderer Remus Duke… Roman’s identical twin.

“No, I–I’m his brother, Roman.”

I absolutely adore Pied Piper, I found it when it had only chapters in the 20s and was obsessed. Your writing is beautiful, I adored Reo, Izuku was killing me in the best way possible. (Plus your humor is so fucking funny, your social media breaks in it have me dying) I subscribed and left it there for when it's almost done because I have been burned far too many times by illegal cliffhangers and discontinued fics. 

And with that out of the way, it's time for the latest thing. I always look at all the fanart at the beginning and end. I'm absolutely blown away by all the amazing fan art. Ferret is truly doing God's work. So you can imagine my confusion when I saw Nighteye(I only knew it was him cause the centipede called him Mirai), some centipede human, a woman, and Gang Orca in the same bed. I was understandably disgusted but mostly confused. I checked the tags, saw nothing about it, and brushed it off as a discord inside joke. 

More chapters flew by (I read all 64 chapters in 2 days, yes I should sleep but your writing is way too good.) and I got to the art of a human centipede and who I thought was some random guy about to kiss. It's been a while since I watched the show so I didn't remember Centipede as a sidekick or what Nighteye looked like that well. I'm still scarred and Ferret has to pay for my therapy.

Y'know that one line where Nighteye mentions that he attended their wedding? I first thought 'wait Nighteye isn't married' checked the tags and saw nothing about it. So I reread it and thought that Nighteye attended Aizawa, Hizashi, and Oboro's wedding instead.

Thus I was able to finish chapter 64 peacefully and went on your Tumblr. Your word game is really fun and adding on the DFO spin-off is very entertaining. Until I stumbled on the Centipede ask for the word game. And I saw the tag centipeder x nighteye. 

I thought it wouldn't take me that long to see the end of it to know the mystery behind this very much cursed ship.

I'm now fully aware of why that fanart is there and you can't even blame the LoveWins nation anymore. YOU BETRAYED YOURSELF. You didn't need a bet to kill off Nighteye. YOU ALREADY IKIT. (I'm still mourning him)

A/N: I apologise for posting new fics two days in a row. I don’t know what came over me.

Also sorry for always ending my fics on a cliffhanger. It's something I can't help.

The evening air was too hot.

Too much heat.

Chat Noir shouldn’t be outside at this time, since there wasn’t a patrol planned for tonight. But there he was, running around rooftops and daydreaming about Marinette, the girl who had stolen his heart.

The chouquettes from her parents’ bakery were delicious. But the pastries would taste a million times better if she were by his side.

And suddenly, his wish was granted. He was really shocked to see his desire come true so quickly. He just said it out loud, and before he knew it, Marinette appeared in front of him, as if by miracle.

Chat Noir gasped at the view.

She was alone, wearing her pyjamas, her cheeks blushing like ripe apples, gesturing and murmuring something to herself, a dreamy smile on her lips, unaware that someone was watching her.

She was breathtakingly beautiful. The golden pollen the setting sun was pouring on her only added to her natural beauty, making her totally irresistible.

As if hypnotised, Chat Noir couldn’t take his eyes off her. He felt like a bee attracted by a delicious and intoxicating wildflower.

That’s when Marinette spotted him.

She let out a yelp and backed up into a corner of her balcony, curling up there.

Chat Noir felt a twinge of guilt. He didn’t mean to snoop on her. So he hastily turned away and pretended to observe the surroundings.

But like a compass needle that always points to the north, his whole being seemed to be constantly drawn to Marinette.

She seemed to have already recovered from the shock and waved coyly at him, a sweet smile on her face.

Chat Noir couldn’t resist the attraction anymore. As if there were an invisible magnet hidden somewhere on Marinette’s balcony.

He plucked a red rose, despite the fact that there were plenty of pink roses on the roof he found himself on, and tucked it behind his belt.

It took him one jump to make it to her balcony.

"Bonsoir à toi, Marinette," he said, bowing low in front of her and kissing her hand gallantly.

No matter how badly he wanted to fall to his knees and offer her his heart, he must restrain himself.

"I actually think about you a lot." Goodness, what bland words to say! They didn't reflect even a tiny fraction of what he felt for her.

You're driving me insane. I'm so smitten with you that I can't find peace. That would be much closer to the truth.

She accepted the rose thankfully and tucked it behind her ear.

The dewy rose petals that her lips were made of parted slightly, forming the most angelic smile Chat Noir had ever seen.

The two blue diamonds that were her eyes contemplated him, as if casting a spell on him.

And he definitely felt the spell working.

Was she aware of what she was doing to him?

Was it on purpose that she was so flirtatious?

It should be illegal to be so adorable.

So mischievous.

So innocent.

It was ridiculous how infatuated he was with this girl. One more flirty glance from under her lashes, and he will melt like chocolate.

He leaned closer to her. Much closer than was appropriate.

But there was nothing he could do. He's already entered her gravitational field.

However, she didn't pull away. Which probably meant she wanted it too.

Chat Noir was barely aware of what they both were saying to each other. He could barely hear his own thoughts through the intense buzzing in his head.

Was it a bee swarm producing some extremely poisonous sort of honey?

He savoured her closeness, drinking in every square inch of Marinette’s face.

Her smouldering gaze.

Her playful smile.

Her freckles (how does it come that he never noticed them before? Maybe the golden glitter from the setting sun painted them only a few moments ago?)

Chat Noir gulped, because his heart was pounding erratically in his throat.

Her eyes were two shining blue moons, and his soul was an ocean whose waters were pulled by those eyes.

This girl will be the death of me.

That was the last coherent thought that ran through his head before his lips brushed Marinette’s, closing the gap between them.

As soon as their lips connected, there was no more escape (not that there had been any before). He got trapped like an insect in a resin drop.

The hot, golden air around them thickened into a piece of amber, capturing and uniting them both.

The earth has stopped spinning.

No more time.

No more space.

Nothing.

Just a blissful, endless oblivion made of milk and honey, and maybe also strawberry.

The air around them suddenly filled with yelling, shrieking, gasping, and flashing lights. Someone grabbed his tail and tried to pull him away from Marinette.

"Boy, are you testing my patience or what? You have no shame. How dare you come here after you’ve broken my daughter’s heart?" Chat Noir heard a very familiar voice growling into his ear, and his heart nearly stopped.

It turned out that he was pulling Marinette too close to him by wrapping his arms around her waist, while she wrapped her arms around his neck, burying her palms into his hair.

"Look, he gave her a red rose! So cute! I can’t believe my eyes!" a girl’s voice exclaimed ecstatically somewhere near.

Chat Noir looked around, blinking in confusion. Despite an internal turmoil, his overwhelmed senses recognised Alya standing there with a smirk and showing the screen of her phone for everyone to see.

The screen that displayed him and Marinette merged together in a passionate kiss.

"Sweetie, what's Chat Noir doing here on your balcony at this hour?" Marinette’s mom’s voice asked worriedly.

Chat Noir retracted his arms reluctantly from Marinette’s waist.

He knew that what he'd done was unforgivable. He shouldn’t have approached her. He'd been acting in the heat of the moment, and now the time has come to face consequences.

How could he make them all believe that he didn't intend to invade her personal space? The last thing he'd want was to break her heart.

He looked at Marinette from the corner of his eyes to gauge how she was taking it.

She stood there with a miserable expression on her face, her eyes locked on the floor beneath her feet, her cheeks as red as the rose he just gave her, which was still tucked behind her ear.

The moon rose, and its light put milk drops on the scarlet rose in Marinette's hair and lit silver sparks in her bluebell eyes.

"Maman, papa, it’s not what it looks like!" she said in a very small and pitiful voice. "Well, actually, yes, that’s exactly what it looks like," she corrected herself a little louder and raised her eyes to look at her parents.

She took Chat Noir’s hand and leaned on him, as if to take inspiration from his closeness.

"This cat right there... I love him."

ACROSS THE SPIDERVERSE SPOILERS!!!!

Everything (almost) I loved/noticed in the movie!!!

Under the Cut!

First things first, beginning the movie with Gwen's inner dialogue and the world she lives in. The use of colors and shapes to represent her emotions is freaking amazing. (I also peeped that Protect Trans Kids poster/flag in her room). She is so alt... I love her. Like, wow, I love her style.

Now, Imma make a list:

Spot's buildup. I saw it coming, but that's what I love about movies. Watching Spot slowly become more powerful made him into something to be feared. I started the movie thinking he was funny mini "bad guy" character, but now... now I'm afraid *nervous chuckle* OH AND THE VENOM REFERENCE??? YES YES YES

The small swear words "Maybe you should get off the kid's ass" "Parenting, a big ass mystery." I. LOVED. IT. It just adds that small bit of realism that I (as an almost adult) cherish. Reminds me of the Rise of the TMNT movie where Future Leo said badass. I EAT THAT UP EVERY TIME

HOBIE HOBIE HOBIE I can write an essay about how much I adore his character. To see a black guy wearing SPIKES and PIERCINGS and BEING AN ANARCHIST touches my soul. As a black person, I love the representation (even though he existed before this movie lololol). HIS ANIMATION TOO??? LIKE SO COOL???? Straight out of a comic book!!! The way he changed colors/styles fit him so well. OH OH OH AND HOBIE HELPING OUT MILES!! I'm so glad they didn't go with the whole "fighting over Gwen/jealousy" subplot. Hobie was a real one for helping Miles escape by telling him to use his palms.

Miguel O'hara is so hot????

*ahem* PETER B CONSTANTLY KISSING THE TOP OF MAYDAY'S HEAD AND GUSHING OVER HER THIS THIS THIS!!! I don't know if you've ever held a baby that you adored but the urge to kiss the top of their head while you hold them is EXTREMELY STRONG. So it's accurate. He loves Mayday so much and I just love that <3 Miles being the reason Peter wanted to have kids makes my heart ACHE in the greatest way possible

The Lobby and Miles' Great Escape Where do I even begin? First of all, the amount of spidermans and the references??? Oh my goodness. DONALD GLOVER AS THE PROWLER?! I saw a theory about Miles being in Tom Holland's spiderman (srry that's what I'm calling it) with Donald Glover as Uncle Aaron and uh???? HE WAS THERE!!! WILD!!! Ah! I can't forget about Miles realizing what was going to happen to his dad. Now, I love Miguel, but I was COMPLETELY ON MILES' SIDE. Gosh, the tension in that scene was SO thick! The animation in Miles' escape was fucking GORGEOUS! Along with the fighting sequences!! The facial expressions. EVERYTHING!!

Miles' Great Escape pt. 2 Miles swinging through "his" New York and practically reliving everything that was said and done to him... man. I could feel his overwhelming need to get home. He just needed to get home. When he got through his window, I could finally relax. HELL, I could've cried in relief. Just knowing that you were safe cuz you were home. Man, the surprise Miles and I were about to receive.

Miles and his Counterpart Now, at this point in the movie, I was so deep into the story that I didn't realize that the movie was almost over. I sat at the edge of my seat as I watched Miles beg himself to let him go so he could save their dad. "Now why would I do that?" Oh the betrayal. Watching Miles and Prowler! Miles stare into each other's eyes made me feel something I couldn't describe. When Miles summoned up his venom strike (I can't recall if that's the name), his face looked so resigned. He was prepared for a fight. A fight that we won't be able to see until the next movie.

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT???? tHAT CLIFFHANGER SHOULD'VE BEEN ILLEGAL!!! I literally sat up in my seat and said "You have to be kidding" BECAUSE THAT COULDN'T BE THE END UNTIL THE NEXT MOVIE!!!

Would you believe me if I said that this movie was better than the first? At least in my opinion. Not to say that the first movie was bad, but as sequels go, THIS ONE SURPASSED THE FIRST ONE'S GREATNESS SOMEHOW??? This trilogy is going to be fucking legendary.
