Often I see a lot of art of Eggman taking care of Sage. Whenever I see that I can't help but think it should be the other way around. Sage should taking care of HIM. She should be the one feeding him. She should be the one doing heavy lifting for him. She should be the one tucking him into bed at night and reading him a story where he wins and Sonic dies! That's the much more accurate dynamic in my eyes. Hopefully one day more people realize this.

LITERALLY you fucking get it!!! Eggman is a selfish, bratty, short-tempered manchild, the one with interests commonly considered childish like amusement parks, carnivals, circuses, toys etc, he created Sage to protect him in his own words, and he specifically values her for her loyalty and efficiency and how she serves him. Eggman is a father only by title and having a creation he calls a daughter and not by the actual traditional roles, duties, and responsibilities. It's anything but a traditional guardian and child dynamic, a complete subversion

And Sage is far from a typical daughter, she's a servant and protector first as that's what Eggman created her for and specifically values in her first and foremost and it doesn't change because it's what his whole appeal for the dynamic even is for him. Sage doesn't have anything in common with regular children, she's far from a dumb baby toddler that needs coddling and protection. Eggman doesn't want her to be like that, it's the opposite of everything he asks of her and doesn't coddle or protect her in the game, he literally lets her sacrifice herself for him even

Sage is the guardian and protector while Eggman gets behind her for protection like the final Horizon teaser (not that he can't defend himself but she was made to protect him and he'd rather someone else take the shot lol). Eggman isn't the overprotective father type when he literally lets her sacrifice herself, he's only possessive in a "you should be giving ME attention" way like when he's jealous and pissy when he notices Sage admiring Super Sonic. Eggman also has tantrums like a stubborn, selfish, bratty kid while Sage is the more level-headed one in such situations and tries to reason with him

With those all canon examples, Sage is really taking on the parental protective guardian roles, positions, and behaviors. So we can definitely assume it applies to everything else too. He's the one who would be indulging in things considered childish like amusement parks/carnivals/circuses/toys etc most as he always has- Sage could possibly show less enthusiasm unless he gets her into them as a selfish way to do more 'family activities" like she asked him for/she takes interest to make him happy/to take only chance for those types of activities to happen between them

Sage would be the one feeding Eggman instead (she doesn't even need to eat anyway and Eggman likes how he's free from the responsibility along with everything else lol), and the one cleaning up his mess, giving him all the affection, attention, support and comfort he wants, prioritizing his needs and desires, and doing all the heavy lifting to make his life easier on top of being his protector. The roles are completely reversed as in her programming and by Eggman's desire for her to serve him and she loves him so much and is eager for his approval so she'll take it all on for him

And YES to HER tucking HIM in and reading HIM bedtime stories, where he defeats Sonic and rules the world agksbakgbsmg I love it. He'd probably encourage her to make up the stories and get happy when she says exactly what he wants to hear but if there's a plot beat he doesn't like he's like "NO, *THIS* happens!" and she immediately changes it like "yes of course father, actually *that* happens" to keep him happy. And how giddy he gets when someone else entertains his dreams and how it cheers him up after a bad day makes it worth her time hehe 💜

I love how much of a total subversion their dynamic is in the game and I'd love if fandom embraced it with fun scenarios like that!

Summary: On an outing in the nearby villages, Susan still has a few tricks up her sleeves to impress and surprise Caspian

Every other week, it had become a tradition for the kings and queens of Narnia to head down to the villages near the palace. It was an occasion to visit their loyal subject and provide them with any assistance needed. It was most important for the royalty to nurture their relations with their people. Peter, Edmund, Susan, Lucy, and Caspian ruled with respect, love, and trust. This tradition was a way to keep their bond with the inhabitants of Narnia as tight as ever.

It was a lovely day, and the sun shone high in the sky. The wind was soft and warm, like a caress on one's cheek. The royal members rode each on their horses, determined to enjoy the beautiful weather nature had provided.

On their first stop, they came across a group of entertainers joyfully playing music and dancing in the middle of the crowd gathered around them. Susan and Lucy personally knew one woman in the group, as they had met on several occasions now. Once the young woman noticed the Kings and Queens coming their way, she had the crowd open and invited Lucy and Susan to join her in a dance she taught them a while ago.

Lucy, always so full of enthusiasm, immediately joined her friend with a big smile on her face. On the other hand, Susan expressed a little restraint. Anyone who knew her could tell she wanted to join the fast-paced rhythm of the dance but hesitated. Susan cared a lot about protocols and always felt it was her duty to follow them as precisely as possible. That was the excuse she loved to use, but then again, if you properly knew the oldest queen, you knew she was also a little shyer than her siblings.

"Come on Su!" beckoned Lucy from the group of dancers. Even Peter and Edmund encouraged her to join. She looked at them sheepishly, still on the verge of refusing when Caspian intervened. The naive king thought he was helping the gentle queen by proclaiming that she had the right to refuse if she did not wish to join the dance. His strange intervention caught everyone by surprise, especially the Pevensies. Susan looked at Caspian with a frown, to which he innocently responded that he knew how it felt to be forced to join a dance when you didn't know the steps and wanted her to avoid that kind of embarrassment.

Peter and Edmund started chuckling as Lucy crossed her arms and waited to see how long it would take her sister to join in to prove Caspian wrong. As gentle and kind as she may have been, Susan was also renowned among her siblings for being incredibly proud.

"I do not need you to intervene in such a situation. Know that I can still surprise you, Your Highness." Shoulders pulled back with her head held high she joined her little sister with her hands outstretched and entered the merry circle flawlessly.

Caspian stared in disbelief at the scene unfolding in front of his eyes. Not only did Susan know the steps to the dance, but she was hypnotizing. She was a flow of colors and brown hair dancing in the sun. She was grace itself. When the musicians merrily upped the tempo, all tapping their feet on the ground or moving around the dancers, the gentle queen beautifully followed the rhythm, not missing even a step as she did so.

After an especially difficult pirouette that she accomplished like it was nothing, she sent a mischievous smile to Caspian. The defeated king only stood there with his mouth slightly opened. Awe and marvel were the only emotions you could filter out from his dark eyes.

"You should have known not to underestimate our sister," suggested Edmund as he draped his arms around his friend's shoulders, amusement written on his face. "Beginner's mistake," added Peter, pride shining in his eyes.

The music accelerated in a last infernal effort. Susan and Lucy were barely shadows moving around the circle. Only discernible by the colors of their floating gowns and shining hair whipping around joyfully. With one last turn, the music ended promptly, bringing the merry dance to an end. The crowd erupted in cheers for the dancing group and their queens. Edmund and Peter joined them, shouting the loudest for their sisters. Caspian was still slowly applauding when Susan and Lucy walked back to them. He focused on the rosy-cheeked queen standing before him, her breath incredibly controlled for someone who danced for minutes on end without a break. "I-", started Caspian.

Mischief and pride in her eyes, Susan cut him off. "What were you saying about me humiliating myself with this dance?"

"That was the most incredible and beautiful thing I've ever seen." his voice was barely a whisper. Susan shyly dropped her gaze, suddenly interested in a pebble lodged under her shoe.

They stared timidly at each other before Edmund prompted them to continue their visit. The kings and queens dispersed to converse with villagers, offer them a hand with whatever they needed or lend an ear to their troubles.

At the end of the day, Susan and Caspian rode home in companionable silence. They had barely said a word to each other since the morning. Caspian even accompanied Susan to the door of her chambers, waiting awkwardly on the verge of saying something. Susan stared curiously at him, waiting to see what would come out of his beautiful mouth.

"Did you want to tell me something?" she finally asked after a few moments more in silence.

Clearing his throat, he finally spoke. "I want to apologize for my behavior this morning. I just wanted to take care of you, but I should have known you don't need me to do that. My apologies for overstepping." he slightly bowed his head, the image of royal culpability.

The gentle queen stayed silent for a second to observe the young man standing before her.

"I appreciate the apology, and you are right in saying I do not need protecting or that kind of care. That said, it doesn't mean I don't appreciate it."

At the words, he lifted his head, hope illuminating his gaze. "I, in fact, really appreciated your gesture. I just wanted to prove to you that I could do it," she added with a playful grin.

Caspian let out a chuckle of relief. "It truly was the most amazing thing to witness. You were, you are hypnotizing." His gaze loaded with deep emotions, he gathered his breath before continuing. "I wish you would grant me the honor to teach me how to dance. I intend on sharing many dances with you throughout my life, and it would simply not do for someone of your talent to have a partner as mediocre as I am."

From the tip of her toes to the top of her cheeks, delicious warmth spread through the queen. Susan knew very well the deeper meaning in Caspian's words. That is probably why she did not hesitate before answering with a smile.

-rosa was moonlighting as a masked up luchador trainer on the battle subway, and they both thought rosario was a fun challenger to battle in more ways than one, but Crushes...

ingo felt admiration when he saw them confidently command their pokemon in battle and lead her team to victory, but just as he was about to congratulate him for winning the super singles line, rosa surprised him by jumping for joy and pumping a fist in the air, wrapping an arm around their valiant swampert's neck as they cheered. once she was done, or rather, realized ingo was staring at them, they began to blush fiercely and apologized for the outburst, thanking him for the battle with a grin. it was like a rollercoaster that took too many twists and turns; after struggling to get back up in the beginning, they couldnt believe their swampert managed to win against his haxorus!!

the intensity of their celebration, followed by their bashful and sweet smile, struck a chord with him, and he stumbled on his congratulatory words as she exited the railcar... seeing them later on, on the normal tracks, he caught sight of rosa after making his last boarding call and she turned around, smiling with a sparkle in their eyes as he yelled "All aboard!"...ingo realized his admiration for them might go deeper than just a fellow trainer.

hed be sooo obviously crushing on them -w- faint blush on his cheeks whenever theyre around, stumbling on his words or having to think a little harder to say what he needs to... its hard to speak at times with their face just looking at him like that!!

emmet thought they were great fun! their luchador getup was a welcome sight, and quite cool to him; he could appreciate a fellow battler who took pride in their "uniform," so to speak. but what really pushed it into crush territory was a Very close 49th battle, where emmet's galvantula, seemingly backed up against a wall with less than a quarter health left, knocked out their swampert with a surprise energy ball. rosa, just moments ago bouncing in excitement and giving quick orders to his pokemon, froze and stood with their mouth agape in shock... until emmet heard a laugh. rosa broke down laughing from disbelief, he was So close! how did she not see that coming?! they were laughing so hard, before emmet had the chance to ask if they were alright, she walked up to him and grabbed his hands in a firm grip, thanking him for the amazing battle. they mightve gotten a Bit too cocky and assumed victory was in arm's reach... but they wont make that mistake again! with a fire in their eyes, she told him theyd meet again Very soon, and he matched their excitement, lettimg rosa know he'll change up his moves and Still beat them! after he gives his little end of the line speech and thanks them for battling, he watches them heal up her pokemon and walk off the railcar. yes... this could be verrry interesting.

in emmet's case, its a lot harder to tell! hed act pretty much the same, but more competitively with them bc he loves winning hehe, he just wants to have a little fun!! the only telltale physical sign he has that might give him away is that his face doesnt blush easily, but the top of his ears do :] thankfully usually hidden a bit by his hair and hat so its harder to tell, but out in public or after work hours? you might just see it~

-ingo gives rosario lots of praise and encouragement, his voice booming w enthusiasm :] i feel like he gets self conscious about not being able to smile or emote as well as he thought he could, but rosa struggles with it too! so they always make sure to show him how much he appreciates him with plenty of nuzzles and kisses💖

-emmet is much more physically affectionate, in my head. wanting to be near rosa when possible, going out of his way to say hello when theyre working or hes out, sitting next to them whether at a table or a sofa, snuggled up or giving him quick pecks on the cheek ;3; very touchy at times!! not that rosa minds💖

This may be reminiscent of a previous ask with the Wonder Squad and the Phantom Thieves (including Zenkichi, Kasumi, and Sophie), but if the WS were to meet the Investigation Team, who'd get along with who the best?

Oh, that's a fun question! Sure, why not. It'll be like Persona Q2X, hehe.

There's definitely more members of the Wonder Squad than the Investigation Team, though (even if you count Labrys, though I didn't include her here because I couldn't think of any good interactions), so I won't quite be able to do pairs the way I did for the last ask. I made sure everyone in the Investigation Team was accounted for, though!

Wonder

To start this post out, I like the mental image of Teddie pulling Wonder along for things. Honestly, it's similar to why I suggested Yusuke and Wonder in the other post- Teddie's enthusiasm would lead to Wonder getting involved in a lot more things, and maybe encourage Wonder to be a bit more actively enthusiastic about things he likes, too- but in Teddie's case, Wonder would probably be getting pulled into the center of things, rather than the sidelines with Yusuke. Teddie likes to be wherever things are happening, shenanigans are going on, etc., so if Wonder's coming along for the ride, it'd lead to Wonder being a lot more involved in the goings-on of the group.

Granted, Wonder is generally at the center of things anyway, as the protagonist of the game, but it's a little different when you're the passive one who things happen around and to (as Wonder seems to have largely been so far) vs. someone actively involved in making those things happen (who's at the center because they set those things in motion). I suppose if Teddie's the one pulling Wonder into them, it's still not all that different from, say, Cattle in canon, but I feel like Teddie tends to encourage/require more direct participation and decisions, if only to stop him from doing the bad idea that's popped into his head this time here and there.

Cattle

Not sure why, but Ruferu was probably the hardest one for me to pick a member of the Investigation Team for. Maybe because they're all so goofy, haha? I'm putting him with Naoto.

I think the main thing that connects them in my brain is that they're both more of a serious/reliable teammate (by comparison to the rest of their teams), and yet are both associated with somewhat childish attributes? In Naoto's case, the fact that they're younger and feel they're not taken seriously, as a major part of their Shadow, and in Ruferu's case, the fact that he quite literally is the smallest teammate who often needs things like for Closer to pick him up so he can see the poster on the wall.

Probably, they get paired up as the main strategists of the team pretty quickly, and that's the start of their interactions. I think Cattle would respect Naoto's input, as someone who seems to be actually taking this seriously and is the best of the team at puzzling out what's going on, while Naoto would appreciate having someone who understands how the Metaverse works- and why- to both explain what's going on as best as he understands it as well as to troubleshoot solutions to a given problem with them.

I could see there being a bit of an adjustment period especially at the start, though, both to get used to how each other thinks but also because Ruferu doesn't really seem to have the same problems with his apparent childishness that Naoto does. Naoto might be concerned that picking Cattle up would be somewhat demeaning for him, but Cattle doesn't really care when that's the most efficient way to do it.

Closer

Chie. Is this an obvious one? Yes. Does that matter to me? No.

Motoha and Chie would be a slight hazard to those around them, because I can really see them hyping each other up to do what end up being really stupid ideas. I'm imagining probably sparring and at least one eating competition, on the less stupid end of the scale.

Of course, while they have a lot of surface-level similarities, I think as they got closer they'd find there are actually a bunch of things they don't have in common, and that's what would make them a really interesting duo. Chie's interest is in martial arts, whereas Motoha's is baseball; Motoha doesn't seem as insecure about her femininity as Chie; Chie's more impulsive than Motoha; etc.

It might end up starting a bit of a conflict between them- I could see Chie starting to feel kind of insecure that Motoha's "better" at some of the things Chie struggles with, whereas while we don't know Motoha as well yet, maybe Motoha feels that Chie's better at just going for a solution while Motoha hesitates, or something like that. It miiiiiight lead to an argument- I could see them getting loud- but I think it'd work out to them being stronger friends than ever in the end.

Soy

Okay, I didn't want to pair Shun with the protag both times, but I've thought about his potential interactions with the P4 protagonist (I usually use Yu Narukami for his name) too much to turn back now, I think.

I actually don't think they'd get along in terms of food, or at least not at first, specifically because I can really imagine Yu trying some of Shun's food, Shun asking how it is, and Yu giving like a 1-3 word answer. Yu doesn't seem to be super talkative even when he's not the protagonist (and thus "silent"), but even beside that, he usually has such a neutral exterior that I feel like he'd absolutely love the food and just not outwardly show/express it verbally much. Which, given how Shun seems to jump to the worst conclusion when he gets frustrated, I could see turning into a problem where Shun thinks Yu doesn't like his food, and possibly even- given how Yu keeps offering Shun his own cooking- is trying to show off how much "better" Yu's own cooking is, until finally it boils over and Shun gets mad about it.

Of course, Yu would clear things up after that, and they'd probably get along better. Yu's good at cooking, but it doesn't quite strike me as an interest of his on the level that Shun or even just Joker seems to have? So I'm not sure how often they'd actually cook together, if at all (maybe as a bonding exercise?), but I could see other members of the team pitting them against each other for a cooking contest as an excuse to get more tasty food, haha.

Yuki

Since Yukimi's also dealing with- by the sound of it, from her profile- heavy family pressure to be something specific, I could see her and Yukiko getting along. Not to keep putting her with the Priestess Arcana teammates, haha!

Yukimi has the vibe of being kind of uptight, and is mentioned to be outwardly cold in her profile, so I could see Yukiko's energy and laughing fits sort of warming Yukimi up, so to speak, without overwhelming her like someone even more outgoing might. It's hard not to even smile a bit when Yukiko really gets going, at least at the absurdity of her laughing so much if not the thing that she actually found funny. I think it'd do good for Yukimi.

Seiji

This one is more than a little out there, and I feel like it could easily fall apart depending on how he ends up being outside the Metaverse, but I kind of like the idea of Seiji and Kanji being friends?

I don't think they'd be at first, but the thing that came to mind with the two of them is they both act outwardly in a particular way, based on a lack of connection with others. In Seiji's case, it's described in his profile as seeming detached, while in Kanji's case, it's his overcompensation in trying to seem manly enough. I'm kind of guessing that in the end, Seiji cares a lot how others see him too, and his overly-politeness is the only way he's been taught to interact with others, so he's not really sure how to be more open than that?

Basically, I think Kanji would help Seiji come out of his shell a little in that regard, because Kanji is so earnest even when he's trying to put up that exceedingly-tough front. I'm imagining that they clash at first, but then they kind of connect- maybe Seiji has a moment where he's a little less polite or detached than he should be, and Kanji sees a bit more of the genuine Seiji?- and Kanji kind of sticks by him after that.

Since Seiji has more of that romantic "pretty boy" sort of vibe- the rose, his AOA finisher, his sticker- I think standing next to him might also help Kanji feel a little less like he has to overcompensate on the manliness, haha?

Mont

I'm not totally sure on this one, but I could maybe see Rise and Mont getting along? Ice skating is a performance, and now that Mont can't do it anymore after it being world-class, I could imagine her being in a sort of similar place to where Rise was when she temporarily quit being an idol, even if those are obviously very different circumstances.

Basically, my guess here is that part of Mont's internal conflict is not knowing who she is without ice skating, since it was such a huge part of her life, and also missing it. I think Rise might be able to sort of help her work through that a bit, and Mont could probably show Rise some cool ice skating-inspired moves for her own performances. I'm honestly not sure if they'd be the best of friends, if Mont would really connect with anyone on the Investigation Team like that, but I do think Rise would be in Mont's corner, and that would make more of a difference than is immediately obvious at first.

Rin

We don't really know a lot about Yaoling yet, but I'm gonna go out on a little bit of a limb and say Rise for her as well. My main reasoning is two things:

One, Yaoling seems kind of cute but a little mischievous, which is also something Rise leans into. If Yaoling ends up being less on the mischievous side, I could also imagine Rise being a bad influence in that department, haha. Two, not to treat the Yaoling sticker as indicating her entire personality, but the thing with Rise's cooking is that she makes things extremely spicy, and the sticker seems to heavily imply Yaoling enjoys spice. I could see Yaoling giving Rise pointers for how to both further intensify the spice and make the actual food tastier, and the two of them bonding over that.

I could also see Yaoling getting along with Chie, if her personality ends up going more in that direction, but the possible Rise connection seemed more fun to type out, hehe.

Leo

I'm sorry I keep putting the Detective Princes with him but I think it's funny that they're Featherman fans. Naoto and Leo would be a duo that, once again, I don't think Naoto would strictly enjoy being a part of, but rather because Naoto's not really that earnest about their interests and still sort of has that thing about appearing outwardly "mature" enough to be taken seriously (rather than how it conflicts with both Akechi's carefully-crafted public image and thing about being a hero).

I think Naoto would "play along" with Leo's hero thing more, but still in a very Naoto way. I can imagine them very analytically, somewhat seriously discussing the logistics of things from the latest episode of Featherman and whatever other shows with Leo, whether it's in-universe lore, foreshadowing, character analysis, or plausibility of whatever happened, with Leo kind of playing the more unrealistic/imaginative conversation counterpart to them. I can also imagine Leo kind of roping Naoto into hero antics in the shadow world, which Naoto probably starts out embarrassed by and eventually gains enough familiarity with the routine to join in for with a cool, composed face.

Okyann

Okay, for one, I think Kayo and Rise might have kind of a friendly navigator rivalry going on, haha. They're both flashy and seem to like being the center of attention, but with very different aesthetics (a gyaru vs. an idol), and I don't think they'd actively dislike each other, but I could really see it turning into a competition to outshine the other via flashy help for the main team.

As for who she'd actually get along with, I really like the idea of her and Teddie? Besides him being a cute and soft bear, Teddie's sort of like an overexcited kid, who doesn't really understand a lot of human stuff all the way yet and latches onto what gets a reaction, and unless we later find out Kayo hates everything to do with kids or something (not the impression I get from her interactions with Wonder, but she could be lying), I can imagine her kind of taking up some of the Teddiesitting duties, hah.

On the flip side, I think Teddie would like her flashiness and attitude in the shadow world. I'm not sure Teddie would really know what a gyaru is, but I definitely think he'd like her vibe. As much as I can see her sorta taking Teddie under her wing a little, I also think they would together be an unrivaled force for teasing teammates. In other words, I don't know if Okyann would always being a strictly good influence, for all the good she does do with him. Which is probably part of the appeal, for Teddie. She's certainly better of an influence than what he learned from the Investigation Team's Shadows in canon, haha.

Kotomo

Given that Tomoko seems to be working various jobs in her Confidant (I'm unclear on the exact reason why, though), I kind of like the idea of her and Yosuke being customer service buddies. I'm not sure whether Tomoko's the type to complain to a friend after an annoying shift, but Yosuke sure is, and I could see there being a sort of mutual complaint chat going between the two of them, haha.

Granted, given Yosuke is Yosuke, he might at first think she's cute and start talking to her out of that sort of interest, but Yosuke's canonically proven that while he can kind of get blinded by attraction/interest in a romantic relationship to start out, that calms down significantly once he gets to know them. So I think even if "mutual complaint chat" isn't what the chat starts as, it's where it'd end up.

They also both use dual blades (if not the exact same kind of blade) in combat, so I could see sparring/exchanging combat strategies being another thing they could bond over, after that initial period of becoming friends. They're both also smarter than they tend to get credit for (though maybe Tomoko gets more credit for it later and we just haven't seen it), so I kind of like the idea of them being a sort of surprise strategist duo as well, who sometimes come up with a really good idea for how to proceed where the others were stuck.

Kii

I think Kiyoshi's interest in supernatural phenomena would set him up to get along unexpectedly well with Yukiko. Yukiko canonically likes ghost stories- and even hijacks Junpei's Believe It or Don't in PQ2- so I think while they might not mesh right away, she'd end up being the only one on the Investigation Team who really goes along with his interests, and they'd be able to bond over that.

Actually, his whole exorcist theme as a Phantom Idol would probably help that! I'm not sure how important it is to Kiyoshi that his sources on supernatural things are necessarily credible, so I'm not sure exactly how he'd feel about it if Yukiko, for instance, made up ghost stories to tell? But at the very least, I know he'd have plenty to tell her (and unintentionally probably menace most of the rest of the Investigation Team with), even if ghost stories aren't specifically his primary interest. And if no one else, I think Yukiko'd be willing to help him investigate supernatural phenomena in general more so than most of the other members of their teams.

My thoughts are unorganized and I hate the fact where I try to say something but ended up not saying it because I don't know what is the accurate word of that subject or my though suddenly went empty when the person I talked to is waiting for my reply. I'm really shy, yes. But I do wanted to take an action if I thought of something. It's like a fight or flight situation. Like telling my concerns to the teacher rather than just go with the flow and not mind the discomfort.

I'm having a hard time to understand feelings in a deeper level or to know what is right or wrong. Such as when someone suddenly told me that she does this thing even though she knows it's unfair and then I thought it's bad for me to be upset (she's my friend btw so I got guilty of being upset.) Relationships too! I'm still taking my time understanding them... Btchless since birth indeed. I'm not academically smart since I tried finding things that would balance my personal happiness and school.

I got concerned when my friends is acting differently. Even they brushes their heavy feelings off, I don't want to leave anything that I see. Trying to consult them with their problems if they open up and I gave reassurances that i'm here for them of they don't.

This guy would come into your life to show you a side you didn't know. He would present himself in an energetic way and encouraging you not to be so shy with him, always trying to bring the most out of you in conversations and pushing your limits.

When he sees that you really start to get overwhelmed when talking to someone you don't know or to himself he would give you a break, taking the reins of the talk himself.

He would appreciate very much the capacity you have for caring for your friends and worrying about them so much. It's something that Venti also does, perhaps because of becoming more nostalgic as time goes by.

NCT ANiMA/NCThree on NCT World 2.0

First thing's first, the boxes. As we all know each challenge was specifically tailored to each individual. So I can see Saeron's being something similar to Operation or like those arcade games where you have to get the hoop through the course without touching the guide since she's rather good with her hands. Maybe Jihyun's would be some intense memory based game since she's good at remembering things. We can throw Yeseul in a batting cage and have her hit the ball idk 5 times in a row before moving on. As for (Y/N) we could have her flex her hidden strength with one of those punch machines just for funsies (bonus if Johnny magically appears next to her and starts coaching)

What was next? Was it the teams? Okay, easy, (Y/N) would be in the skyscraper team just so Yangyang could fuck around with her (starting the shipping rumors pls save them), I can see this guy constantly trying to scare her and (Y/N) going into fight response, this was funny until they were on the bridge and Renjun yelled at Yangyang to knock it off ("why are you on her side I'm your best friend!" "I don't care you're going to kill us all!"). Yeseul was on the sushi team because that girl can EAT she's clearing sushi like it's nothing and the boys are in shock, they had this challenge in the bag (also one of the people who encouraged Jaehyun to eat because life's too short not to have good food). Jihyun and Saeron were on the photobooth team and, turns out, Jihyun's really fucking good at Tetris.

Then it was field day right? Oh boy, ohhhhh boy. Let's just say (Y/N) CARRIED her team in arm wrestling until she got to Johnny then she was like "Call and ambulance! Call an ambulance! But not for me" and proceeded to win. Johnny swears it's because she caught him off guard, but everyone knows the truth. That whole relay thing? Oh god, when Yangyang ran to her to hand off the baton it slipped, they both started arguing in English, Mark ran past them laughing his head off, Yeseul was censored but everyone heard the "RUN BITCH RUNN" affectionately referring to (Y/N). She tripped over those flippers so many times. Jihyun learned the secret to the flippers and ran backwards. It was chaotic.

Now it was the weird escape room-esque thing, right? Man, it truly was Jihyun and the seven fools with her for real. Jihyun started catching on to things so quickly while Hendery was behind her "looking for clues" her and Yuta were so on it that the staffs had to ask them to pretend to be clueless for the variety of it. Saeron was likely a part of that group that had to do the puzzle solving in the cave and was lowkey at a loss since none of it applied to ANiMA but her enthusiasm was so infectious. Let's not talk about (Y/N), she was too busy looking for clues in the piano. Yeseul absolutely was a queen in the whole thing, true MVP

Some headcanons for Hunter's dynamic with the rest of the Bad Girl Coven when he joins because OF COURSE he will:

(he's going to join the found family. he's going to. he will. he is going to be loved and cherished and valued and shown real affection and *starts crying*) - He has a very brother-and-sister vibe with Luz. They love each other, he's eternally grateful to her, they love studying wild magic together, and he loves learning about glyphs, but they ALWAYS do the most to bug the other. Luz teases Hunter and playfully pokes him to get a reaction and she's always successful, but THEN he sees how Luz is around Amity and. hehe. Suddenly he has fodder for playful teasing revenge.

- Also hugs. He needs hugs and Luz loves giving hugs and yes. them. hugging. (please let him be hugged.) - He and Amity. just. Understand each other. They will sit in the living room of the Owl House in silence and just Vibe for hours, Amity reading Azura and Hunter reading texts on wild magic, and occasionally they will make Understanding Eye Contact. On the flip side, they also love to gush about their respective interests to the other, and they always listen to what the other has to say.

- Amity also helps Hunter do his research in the library and they make up some bs about Important Emperor's Coven Business in order to access all those Restricted Books on Things The Emperor Doesn't Want You To Know, and it becomes an inside joke with them, where they act out more and more outlandish reasons in order to get to the books to each other, while everyone else looks on with varying degrees of amusement, confusion, and concern.

- They also talk about family issues. It's cathartic. Amity realises that Hunter never got Supportive Older Siblings and decides (maybe? ill-advisedly) to introduce him to Emira and Edric. This goes about as well as you would expect. But at the end of that meet up, Hunter just. can't stop smiling. Amity thinks that maybe this wasn't such a bad decision after all. - Gus can't stop draping himself all over Hunter. With finger guns, side hugs, etc, and Gus' endless stream-of-consciousness talking style, Gus just. drags Hunter everywhere because "Oh wow! It's another guy in the Bad Girl Coven! We're bros now. We are officially bros."

- Gus tries to act all cool around Hunter in order to impress him, which fools nobody, but Hunter is just kinda overwhelmed by Gus' enthusiasm and also he's once again amazed he has Yet Another Friend that he just. goes along with it. - He and Willow are besties. yes. At first, he's kinda terrified of her because of her power and Pure Feral Energy, but quickly realises she's really warm the rest of the time.

- Willow is very affectionate around Hunter and Hunter is just. internally sobbing like "oh my god you're so sweet what did I do to deserve this"

- Hunter always listens to Willow gush about her plants and he takes Very Detailed Notes because this stuff is helpful to his research (and also he thinks Willow is Very Cool) - Eda is soo incredibly nice to him and supportive of his rebellion and at first he's kinda afraid of her because he has Trauma but quickly realises Eda is absolutely awesome

- She encourages him to embrace his inner desire to Disobey The Emperor and do Illegal Things and after a while she is 100% successful

- She gives him the love and affection he has so desperately been lacking and the first time she praises him he bursts into tears. This is followed by a hug from Eda. It's very sweet.

- Hunter is worried Eda will kick him out when she finds out who he is but she's like. "Kid. You're fine. I literally housed and cared for my estranged sister who cursed me as children. What matters is that you've rebelled, and you deserve to be cared for because Belos is an abusive asshole."

- Cue Hunter crying once again

- Yeah Eda just adopts Hunter as one of her children. Hunter is shocked but incredibly grateful and there are a lot of tears.

- When he meets Lilith again, at first Lilith is like. "Ugh. It's the young whippersnapper. Little brat." but very quickly she realizes "Oh wow. This is a literal child. This is a literal actual child who is heavily traumatized. I am so sorry, I am so glad you're safe, come on let's do some illegal research together I have soooo much info on what you're looking for, you won't even begin to believe it" Anyways please let this poor child be loved he needs it

Hey thanks for the request @arthotsglasses even though you sent it a long time ago I’m finally getting to it after a busy and rough year. It was fun to write and I hope you like it! Decided to just do Mitsuhide, Hideyoshi, Ieyasu, Masamune, and Shingen for now.

Mitsuhide: When he decided to teach her how to survive, he decided to teach her how to use a rifle like his. She was quite clumsy with horseback riding and her writing lessons were quite sloppy but was able to slowly master it, so he thought with some teasing and a lot of practice she MIGHT be able to shoot near the wooden target by the end of the month. When he brought out the gun, her eyes widened and instantly sat up with enthusiasm, taking Mitsuhide aback. “My my, so the little mouse has a liking to weaponry.” After explaining that she used to be a master marksman, he still had his suspicions and expected her to not be able to hold a heavy gun and shoot it. After explaining how to load it, she quickly got it prepped, aimed, and fired a hole right through the center target. “Like that?” She asked with sarcasm, making Mitsuhide gawk for a second before regaining his composure and smiling. “I think you might be more valuable than I thought, little one.” After her showing him trick shots and even teaching HIM some techniques (making him swoon a bit on the inside), he decided that she should be able to go to certain missions and battles, but only places her in secret and safe locations where she won’t be ambushed and have someone that has her back guarded cuz he’s a softie that still cares about MC’s safety, even if she’s a badass sniper that can make someone’s soul leave their body in a millisecond.

Masamune: When he explained to her that in this world you might have to kill, she was surprisingly more unfazed than he thought. She seemed to be hesitant with sword fighting and thought it was because of her being afraid of violence. “I’m worried about close combat, but at a distance I was trained to hit any target.” Masamune was super impressed and giddy that she had a tough side and wanted to see her skills right away, borrowing (stealing) Mitsuhide’s gun. After showing her how to load it and her gaging the kickback and weight, she aimed at a peach in a tree and shot right into it. (He probably wants to make out with her right then and there bc how cool is that). Brags to everyone about what he saw her do and encourages her to come to any battle. Always has her back and excited to fight anybody trying to attack them from behind. Likes to tag team with short range with her doing long range.

Hideyoshi: He was super worried about MC and her insistence to go to the battlefield to help them. “I know you want to help but you might get hurt and see some unsavory things. If you really want to, you could learn how to dress wounds and be in the treatment tent.” “I think I can do more than that. You don’t know what I did for a living. Yo, Mitsuhide, lend me your rifle!” Curious about what MC will do and wanting to see Hideyoshi panic was more than enough motivation for him to hand her his heavy rifle. Seeing a fruit in the tree across the courtyard, Mc pointed and proclaimed “If I hit the stem of that fruit right there and make it fall down, I get to go as your sniper.” Hideyoshi still in a state of shock and worry that she’s going to dislocate her shoulder or hurt herself with a “you can’t be serious” he sighed and agreed after seeing her determined look. She turned around, breathed in, and shot it with ease. Mitsuhide’s clapping and Hideyoshi’s stunned look caused her to smirk and say that they now have to vouch for her being a part of the team. He’d still be against the idea, but had to give up and realize she wasn’t going to budge. Wants her only to be in places that are guarded by him or a trusted warlord. Even though he’s worried, he’s glad she knows how to make tough calls and has a way to protect herself and those close to her.

Ieyasu: When he said that MC was weak and helpless, her blood started to boil. “Do guns exist here?” “Yes.” “Then I’m not helpless.” He scoffed, not believing that a girl like her could use a gun without dropping it, causing her to grab him and drag him to the artillery. Grabbing a rifle off the wall and asking him where the ammo is, she loaded it and went to the target range with a line of targets. Without missing a beat, she shot, reloaded, and shot in sequence all the targets. Turning to him and his gasping face, she smiled and said “So about that archery practice?” He would be hesitant bringing her on the battlefield with the excuse of her being too clumsy, but in reality recognizes her abilities and knows she is plenty capable of shooting someone to smithereens, but is just worried about her getting attacked from behind. Realizing she’s going to snipe for them anyway, he sighs and says “I guess there’s no choice but for me to look out for you, not that I want to do that anyway.” (Blushes bc he gets to spend time with her and watch her be super cool)

Shingen: Wanting to gain her favor during her stay(kidnapping), he tried gifting her jewelry and clothes, which she refused. “My goddess, is there anything you desire that I can provide for you.” “A gun.” He thought she was being sarcastic until he saw the seriousness and passion in her eyes. “Do you know how to use those things?” “Give me one and find out.” The next day she was gifted a beautiful rifle. “Could you show me how a woman like yourself has a talent for shooting?” She takes him to the courtyard, places a piece of his scrap wood all the way at the end swinging from a tree, walks back, aims, and fires it right through the center. “I believe if you let me do this, I will be more comfortable staying here.” “Maybe if you stay here you will be as passionate about me as you are with your rifle” he said suavely, earning a bullet to the ground dangerously close to his foot. Learning about her past experience as a sniper and how she isn’t as innocent and helpless as he thought, he felt genuine respect and was enamored with her focus and cool in her sniper mode. After joining his side, he’d let her aid only if she was in a strategically safe location with a guard like Sasuke or Yukimura or himself to be there. If guarding her back, likes to flirt and try to get her to break focus until things get serious just to challenge and try to woo her some more. The sky above you was turning dark, but the game of Quidditch in front of you still roared on.

Orbs of light had been casted onto the tops of each towering stand of students, illuminating the field for miles. The cheers never dulled, the same enthusiasm seeping from everyone as when the game started. You couldn’t remember how long you had been out there, but you did know the sun was still up when it started.

You held a pair of binoculars to your eyes, watching as Fred leaned forward on his broom and hit a bludger with such force that your heart did a little jump in your chest. He flew closer to the ground, intercepting a bludger that was going straight towards Angelina. You watched the corner of his mouth lift in a smirk at the girl as she smiled at him appreciatively. Your heart sank.

You had been in love with Fred Weasley for a little over a year. You went to every one of his Quidditch matches, helped him with most of his pranks, and talked to him for hours just about every day. Yet, he was still just a friend. Your best friend.

You didn’t care if Fred liked you back, though you figured he didn’t. You could never confess your feelings for him. You hated the idea of having to be so vulnerable around him, so you kept everything you felt for him to yourself.

You couldn’t help but feel the sting of jealously, however, as Fred watched Angelina soar off towards the goal posts.

You managed to keep your enthusiasm. Your cheers nearly reached Fred’s ears, your encouragements being so loud. Hundreds of feet above you, Harry’s broom darted down, and he was diving to the ground. The crowd silenced for a moment before screams erupted. Harry flew laps in front of the stands, holding out the snitch in his harsh grip. Your eyes followed him, smile wide. You rushed off the stands, hurrying down the steps and to the field. Your eyes met Fred’s and he started towards you.

“Great game, Fred!” Angelina called from behind him.

He turned from you, walking backwards and looking at Angelina. He smiled widely at her and you watched with heavy eyes as she returned a shy smile. You couldn’t help the downturn of your lips as you watched it, watched his eyes lock onto hers for a little too long. By the time he turned back to you, you had crossed your arms over your chest and kicked up some grass from beneath your feet.

“Why the long face? We won!” he shouted, coming to wrap his arms around your frame.

He lifted you into the air and you couldn’t help the smile that snuck its way onto your lips. You placed two cautious hands on his frim shoulders, steadying yourself as he spun you.

“Fred!” you screeched, smiling widely and tilting your head to the sky.

“You stayed the whole game,” he said, putting you down but keeping his arms wrapped around you.

“Of course I did,” you replied, stating it like that was obvious.

“You had to be standing up there for at least seven hours,” Fred’s head tilted down, hit teeth trapping his bottom lip as he looked at you.

“Well I was sitting for at least three of those seven,” you quipped, smirking at him, “so, I’d say it was a fair trade.”

“Let’s go to the common room,” he said, releasing one of his arms and moving the other up to wrap around your shoulders.

“I hope you plan on showering first,” you pinched your nose, pretending to be awfully offended by the smell coming from Fred’s extended arm.

Fred released you, ducking his head down to smell his armpit. His face recoiled and he laughed with you.

The two of you fell in with the large mass of students returning to the castle, but all either of you thought about was the other.

That night, Fred had made a promise to himself to ask you out, finally. He had been in love with you for years. How could he not be? You were everything he loved in a person. His arms propped his head up on top of his pillow, and just before he drifted off to sleep he was imagining how he should ask you to be his girlfriend.

The process was difficult, he didn’t know if you’d want him to be sweet, or if you’d rather have something flashy. He was so preoccupied with the details that he hadn’t even stopped to consider you not liking him back. In the end, he decided on something perfect, something just for you.

You pulled yourself from bed with tired legs feeling sore after standing in the stands for all that time. You couldn’t imagine how sore Fred’s arms must be.

Quickly getting ready and managing to just catch lunch, you slid onto the bench next to Fred.

“Good morning,” he mumbled, voice muffled from the toast he was chewing.

“Morning,” you replied.

You rubbed the heals of your hands into your eyes, forcing what was left of exhaustion from them. You pulled a variety of foods from platters in front of you, filling your plate for lunch.

“Are you busy today?” Fred asked, finally done chewing his food.

“I don’t think so,” you responded tiredly, “why?”

“I wanted to take you somewhere,” he said, smiling shyly at you.

Your stomach filled with butterflies at his look, and you shifted your gaze to your plate.

“Okay,” Fred barely heard the mumble, but he caught it just in time for lunch to be dismissed.

The two of you stood, and he slipped his hand into yours. He dragged you away from the school, pulling you down the familiar path to the Quidditch pitch.

“Why are we going to the pitch? I was just here all day,” you whined, thinking Fred was dragging you to another one of Wood’s surprise practices.

“You’ll like it,” he didn’t turn his head back to look at you but you could hear his grin, “promise.”

You took a few rushed steps, falling in place next to him. You looked down at your intertwined hands and your heart swelled.

You two finally reached the grassy field, and Fred pulled you off to the side. He waved his wand, and a blanket appeared in front of you. He motioned for you to sit and you did. He followed your actions, sitting with his legs crossed. His hands were fiddling behind his back and before you could sneak a glance, he pulled out a small box of chocolates. He put them between you two, setting them on the ground as he opened them to you. He watched your face light up at the sight of your favorite muggle candies, and your fingers brushed his as your hand reached for a chocolate.

“Oh my gosh, Fred!” you exclaimed, taking a bite of the chocolate, “What do I get these for?”

You smiled slyly at him, expecting him to ask you for help with his next pranks.

“Well,” he started, moving his hands from the candies to twist in his lap, “if you’ll be my girlfriend you’ll get plenty more where that came from.”

You let out a forced laugh, figuring Fred was just buttering you up even more for a prank. Your laugh drifted unnaturally as you met his serious expression. Your face became stern.

“Don’t be mean, Fred,” you warned, putting the rest of the chocolate back in the box.

“What? I’m serious,” Fred answered in a defensive tone.

You couldn’t help but think Fred had figured out your crush on him. That he had invited you down here to embarrass you about it. You hated yourself for thinking it, but couldn’t help the worries.

“Stop,” you begged your voice not to crack, and it didn’t this time, but you knew it would if you had to say another thing.

“What?” Fred repeated, an awkward chuckle coming from him, “I’m asking you to be my girlfriend.”

“No you’re not,” you said, becoming angry, “this is a joke or something. George and Lee are hiding somewhere aren’t they?”

Fred’s mouth opened, his face twisted with confusion. He reached for you, but you pulled away.

“No they aren’t! What makes you think this is a joke?” Fred pleaded, still reaching for you.

“You don’t like me,” you said, your voice finally cracking, “you like Angelina.”

“Angelina?” he repeated, baffled, “What makes you think I bloody like Angelina?”

Your bottom lip jutted out as you tried not to cry in front of Fred.

“I don’t know,” you mumbled, taking a deep breath, “you always flirt with her.”

“I don’t like Angelina,” Fred sighed, finally being able to take your hands in his, “I like you. I’m in love with you.”

“You’re fucking with me,” you tried one last time, laughing shakily and looking around the field.

“I’m not!” Fred insisted.

“Are you sure?”

He looked at you like you were crazy. Like he couldn’t believe you thought he’d have any doubts about his love for you.

“Yes, Y/n, I’m sure.”

“Oh,” you squeaked out, eyes wide.

“Do you love me?” 

You couldn’t say anything, frozen in his gaze. You nodded slowly and his mouth split into a smile.

“Really?” he asked, smiling widely.

“Yeah,” you choked out, “as long as this isn’t a prank.”

Fred laughed again, and moved closer to you. His open lips met yours, and his hands cupped the side of your face. The two of you moved in sync, molding to each other’s movements. The kiss said everything you both wanted it to say. It was you cheering for Fred at every Quidditch match and him looking at you from his broom. It was you chasing after him in the halls after a prank was set off and him glancing over his shoulder just to see your smile. It was your legs resting in his lap as you both talked for hours and him twirling a piece of your hair between his fingers.

All your insecurities and reservations washed away with that kiss. You didn’t think Fred could fake something this real for a prank. His chest rose with heavy breaths from just being near you, and eventually you couldn’t stop the smile that broke the kiss.

“Believe me now?” Fred said, breathing deeply as his forehead rested against yours.

You bit your lip and nodded, looking at him through your lashes. He pushed against you, resting your back against the ground and keeping his forehead against yours. His lips pushed against yours again, and you couldn’t believe you doubted him for a second.

Boy is this nerve-wrecking or what? Sure, I maybe woke up with a ton of confidence, I listened to motivational and uplifting talks and listened to mood boosting music. I had a healthy breakfast and a cup of coffee. Damn it, I went on a run, all in an attempt to convince myself that dealing with the online world again is but a piece of cake for a badass like me. Well, low and behold, that feeling didn’t last very long. Here I am, chewing my nails off at the though of hopping in the Discord call and Among Us lobby with my friends and starting my stream. It’s not like I’m not expecting my friends and fans to support me - of course I am! I know they’re gonna give me a ton of love and appreciation and support and uplift me no matter what. But then again, there’s still those people who believe me and other people like me to be invalid and broken and whatnot.

Those are the ones I wanna avoid. 

It’s not like their words mean much to me but I simply don’t wanna see em, you know? It’s not only about me - it’s least about me actually - it’s more about all those wonderful people they are insulting when they say shit like that about asexuals and all the people on the ace spectrum. I can’t help but flare up and get angry on the behalf of all my ace friends and even people I’ve never met.

It’s also my first time being directly thrown into the fire instead of getting caught in the crossfire seeing as how I came out to my fandom via a tweet and an Instagram post a week ago, telling my identity’s truth: finally bringing my asexuality to the surface to shine its brightest so I can be be my best and reach for my full potential.

But damn am I afraid to see how everyone took it. 

My friends were quick to jump in and take me offline before I start refreshing my own posts to see the comments under them. Lord knows that without them I would’ve driven myself insane, I’ll forever be grateful for what they did and the lengths they went to to keep me offline and whatnot. One word to give you an idea of how invested they were in this: origami. All of us might as well have been born with two left hands and yet we still tried doing origami. Freaking origami.

Damn do I love my friends.

But now I don’t have sheets of paper and my friends to distract me. I have a fanbase to entertain and another friend group I haven’t talked to in a while. I don’t wanna get any predictions in already so I don’t jinx myself, so I’m just gonna say it’s gonna be...interesting regardless of what happens.

Then again, when is it not interesting when the streamer gang’s involved.

Listening to that encouraging little voice inside my head, I finally equip my headphones and in one fluid motion turn my camera on, officially starting my stream and unmuting my mic as I hop in the call with everyone.

“Hi guys! Guess who’s returned!“ I exclaim cheerfully, desperate to hide the nervousness of my voice.

“You really missed your opportunity to say ‘guess who’s back...back again’ didn’t you?“ Charlie is the one who greets me first, sounding rather disappointed in me in his usual jokester manner. It’s nice to hear, it makes me feel like nothing’s changed in the week I’ve been gone. Like I’m still the same person to these people. I really am the same, I just now am a lot better version of myself. Almost as though I’ve reached my final form. It feels empowering really. “I’m kidding, I’m kidding.” Charlie laughs again, “Congrats, by the way. You keep proving you can get cooler and cooler.“

“Careful there Charlie, I can only handle so large of an ego.“ I joke back, rolling my eyes playfully as a wide grin spreads across my face, “No, but seriously, thank you so much, man. It means the world to me that you support me.“

“Um, how could we NOT?“ That’s very clearly Rae, “Hun, you are so brave and amazing and wonderful, how could we ever NOT support you?“

“Yeah, we’ll always support you no matter what, Y/N. We’ll always be your friends, through thick, thin and beyond.“ Poki too interferes, her words only making my smile wider.

“Alright, alright, y’all are gonna make me cry and I haven’t even read my chat yet, hold on.“ I say, fanning my face to dry the tears I hope the webcam isn’t spotting, “Darn, you guys are the best. Sorry, give me a sec to gather my composure, I’ll be right back.“

I quickly mute my in-game mic as I turn to my chat where I see the same amount of love and support in the form of comments and emojis flooding in from my viewers. A warm feeling spreads throughout my chest, making me feel the most comfortable with myself I’ve ever felt. The most loved I’ve ever felt. The most seen and understood. To finally be you feels like you are finally really living in this world, not like you’ve been already living in it for God knows how long. It makes me so freaking happy and fulfilled to finally be living as me, as the real me.

Unfortunately, in life, nothing can be 100% pure and good. There’s always at least 1% there threatening to ruin all your happiness you worked so hard to build or obtain. It may be one in a hundred, but fuck it’s powerful and effective.

And in my case it comes in the form of two comments that stick out to my eyes. Acephobic comments saying my identity’s fake, claiming I’m faking it, saying us acephobes are immature creatures who refuse to grow up, or attention whores. Or just saying we’re delusional and in denial, confused about who we are.

I hadn’t even realized I was clenching my jaw and fists but when I do, I slowly relax my muscles and crack my knuckles before addressing the two people who spat out that nonsense.

“Ok, listen here, shooterpro69 and yourmom_lol. For starters, I want to apologize for your ignorance and lack of education on the matter of asexuality. In fact, for you especially, I plan on making an educational video, explaining asexuality to people who need or want to learn more. You, my friends, are in desperate need to be fed some knowledge cause damn, God knows how many people secretly think you’re hella stupid. Not that they’re wrong to think so but anyway. Unless you have anything nice or positive to say, begone from my chat. Actually, when I think about it, begone from every chat. No one needs you polluting their communities with acephobia and hate.“ I say, all spoken in a calm tone despite the boiling anger within me. People who know me well would probably be able to tell I’m fuming underneath the calm façade, but at least I got my message across loud and clear.

“WOO HOO, You tell em Y/N!“ Toast cheers, clapping his hands and whistling as more cheering arises from each my friends, leaving me in a state of mild shock and confusion.

Wait, what?!

“Um, wait, you guys heard that?“ I ask, my eyes darting to thein-game mic symbol that shows an not crossed-off mic, meaning it was enabled during the entirety of my speech.

“Hell yeah we did! You slayed them, Y/N! Damn goddamn!“ Rae whistles too, her enthusiasm wafting over me like a breath of fresh air.

“I second that!“ Corpse joins in, “And remember what we said - we’ll support you through anything. Need to bury an acephobe’s body, we’re the people you should call.” He says, confident as heck.

And I just can’t hold it in anymore - I burst out laughing, doubling over from the intensity.

If I thought I was happy and fulfilled before, this has to be the closest to paradise I’m gonna get on Earth.  All thanks to these wonderful people. Friends are really something else aren’t they: they come into your life - often unexpectedly - and change it completely. Suddenly you’re not alone, you’re not forced to deal with everything and face everything on your own. Someone’s got your back and you’ve got theirs.

Through thick, thin and beyond.

And it’s so fucking amazing.

who’s the cuddler: Ruby is very much a cuddle bug (hehe get it?)

who makes the bed: Blake makes Ruby help her make the bed.

who wakes up first: Ruby. Blake likes to oversleep, but Ruby usually lets her, or just wakes up in the morning and starts cuddling her sleeping girlfriend.

who has the weird taste in music: They both have equally weird tastes but in completely different ways. Ruby is usually video game soundtracks and anime OSTs, Blake is very punk

who is more protective: Blake by a long shot. That’s not to say Ruby isn’t that protective, because she really is. But Blake will lock eyes with you and telepathically describe all the horrors she is capable of if you even look at Ruby wrong.

who sings in the shower: Blake does, quietly, and she thinks she does quiet enough for Ruby not to hear. But Ruby does hear, and Blake’s voice is beautiful. Ruby will never tell her, though, for fear that Blake will stop singing in the shower if she knew Ruby could hear.

who cries during movies: Ruby. She’s an emotional bean.

who spends the most while out shopping: Blake. She likes to buy Ruby new clothes especially, she like to dress her up in cool, badass outfits.

who kisses more roughly: They’re both rough kissers, and they kiss a lot. There’s really no such thing as a “quick peck” for them. If they’re kissing it’s going to take a minute or two at the least.

who is more dominate: Blake. After spending so much of her early life subjugated in her close relationships (fuck you goatman), she loves to be the one in control, the one to be relied upon, and Ruby loves it when she is.

who’s the cuddler: Ruby once again. Emerald can be touch averse at times, but often makes exceptions for Ruby. Her enthusiasm is infectious.

who makes the bed: Neither, they don’t see the need to make the bed on the daily.

who wakes up first: Emerald. She often wakes up very early.

who has the weird taste in music: Ruby, in the same way as described above.

who is more protective: Emerald will fight anyone who wrongs Ruby. Ruby would do the same, but Emerald will be out for blood.

who sings in the shower: Neither of them really sing when showering alone. If they’re showering together, Ruby’s goofiness overtakes Emerald and they end up High School Musical dueting till the hot water runs out.

who kisses more roughly: Ruby. Enough rough kisses from her and it gets Emerald in the mood for it too, and she’ll reciprocate with enthusiasm.

Crush Headcanons

Yuki Judai (Jaden Yuki):

Wants to be around his crush as much as possible. Will introduce them to his friends and want to hang out with them all the time. He’d want to learn as much about them as he could, so he’d be asking them all about themselves.

His favourite way to get to know a person? Challenge them to a duel. He thinks you can tell a lot about a person by the deck they’ve built and how they play it. He’d be really excited to duel them, a huge grin on his face as he faced opposite them.

I think he wouldn’t even realise it’s a crush at first. He’d try to befriend them first and assume that’s all it is, but I don’t think it would take him too long to realise. Hopefully. I imagine he’d just be laying there one night thinking about his crush and getting all gooey, and then he’d just sit up, suddenly realising he feels more than friendship towards them and be like ‘oh damn’.

He’d probably want to confess to them as soon as he’s realised his feelings. He’s not good at hiding his emotions anyway, so maybe his crush or people around him figured out he had a crush before even he did. His confession would be awkward but kinda excited too, he just can’t help it around them.

Marufuji Sho (Syrus Truesdale):

Shy boy. Doesn’t know what to do around people he finds attractive. He usually stares at the ground, face flushed red, stuttering on his words. He gets incredibly frustrated with himself for not being able to act naturally around his crush.

Will absolutely ask his friends for advice on how to act around them. Once the teasing settled down, I’m sure his friends would be happy to help him. How successful their advice would be is another story.

I think he might try sending them an anonymous love letter, just to get his feelings off his chest. He doesn’t know what to write, though, so it might end up never reaching his crush anyway.

One thing about Sho is that he will always face his fears in the end. He realises that he needs to get his feelings off his chest so that he can move on with his life, whether his crush rejects him or not. So after stewing on his feelings for who knows how long, he’ll definitely approach them with determination and awkwardly confess.

Tenjoin Asuka (Alexis Rhodes):

She’s usually so calm and collected; sure of herself and what she wants. But having a crush on someone really throws her off. At first, she’s a bit frustrated with this person, coming into her life and making her feel butterflies and turning her face red. I think she’d be a very mild tsundere towards them at first, only because she doesn’t know how to deal with her feelings. If anyone were to notice her acting strangely towards her crush and tease her about it, she’d be most indignant. No, she doesn’t have a crush. Hah. Nope. Not at all. She’d be blushing bright red while denying it vehemently.

I think after some time, she’d come around and decide to befriend her crush. She doesn’t leave a lot of time in her life for romance, but the ice would naturally melt as she spent time around her crush. 

She gets a bit awkward sometimes, because she’s still got no idea what to do with herself. But she tries to tone down her defensive reactions as much as possible. She wants to get along with her crush.

I think it would take a good while, but she’d pluck up the courage to confess to her crush eventually. I think her big brother might have something to do with it if he finds out she’s crushing on someone. His matchmaking schemes might fall completely flat most of the time (he would absolutely try to set Asuka up with her crush), but his encouragement is sincere, so Asuka would eventually give in and approach her crush.

Johan (Jesse) Anderson:

I think it would be difficult for anyone to realise Johan has a crush honestly. He’s usually so friendly, and I don’t think he’d treat his crush all that differently to his friends. He’s actually surprisingly good at hiding his feelings for them behind friendship. Unless you knew Johan well enough, you might never know he’s got a crush.

He’d want to duel his crush, or watch them duel, as often as he can. He’s like Judai in that he thinks it’s the best way to get to know a person. He’ll compliment their deck and card designs enthusiastically. It’s hard not to get caught up in his enthusiasm.

Though he’s usually chill around them, sometimes they might do something that would make him blush and/or stutter a bit. He’s generally quite extroverted, but he can be a tad awkward at times.

I don’t think he’d want to confess to his crush for a good while. He wants to be their friend and not ruin it, and honestly he’s not sure what he’d even say to them.

Edo (Aster) Phoenix

He’s Edo Phoenix, pro duelist. He hasn’t got time for crushes or romance or anything like that. He throws himself into his work, distracting himself from his crush. He won’t really want to do anything about his crush unless he’s too distracted by them to actually do his work or finds his dueling performance is dropping because he’s thinking about them.

He’s a big ol’ tsundere honestly, so he’s not going to make anything easy for himself. They make him feel vulnerable and he hates that. So he might end up actually pushing them away accidentally. This is even more frustrating to him. He’s already wasting his time enough as it is, and now his crush thinks he hates them.

Settles down after getting to know his crush a bit more. Once they become more relaxed around one another, Edo’s crush would only increase. But he’s trying hard not to get all worked up about it again, because he really doesn’t want to drive them away.

I think if he were to confess (and he might not because he still thinks he has no time for this), he’d set it up so he’s got them alone, maybe on his boat in the evening. He doesn’t want to make a big fuss of it, trying to play it off like it’s nothing. His awkward little tsundere self would probably have trouble making it seem like nothing though.

Tenjoin Fubuki (Atticus Rhodes):

Flirty boy is so used to being the one who gets chased. Having a crush that he wants to chase himself is a new one. He thinks he’s really smooth, and can sweep anyone off their feet but he’s not as cool as he wishes he was. Totally shows off around his crush, trying to get their attention. Wanna watch him duel? See him surf? He’ll make sure his crush is around to see him do something cool. Just hope he isn’t too distracted by his crush being there and doesn’t like, fall of his board or something.

He’s not used to feeling awkward around anyone, but I think he’d get that way around a genuine crush. He’d be all awkward chuckles and head rubs, and losing his train of thought around them would be common. He’s able to deal with finding people attractive, the flirt that he generally is, but a more emotional attraction would be a whole different story.

Tends to hang around his crush a bit. Not so much that he’s overbearing, but he’ll be around them quite a bit. Wants to make them laugh a lot because he loves the sound. If he can make them blush as well he’d be over the moon. He’d definitely low-key flirt with them quite a bit.

I think it would take a bit longer than you might expect for him to take the plunge and confess. He’s a bit more calculating than he generally lets on, and I think he’d like to test the waters first. He’d want to be sure he’s not going to drive his crush away if he confesses. Even if his crush doesn’t accept him, he wants to be their friend.
