"Burası Narnia ülkesi" dedi Faun, "lamba direğiyle Doğu Denizi kıyısındaki büyük Cair Paravel Kalesi arasında, üzerinde bulunduğumuz tüm bu topraklar. Sen - sen batının vahşi topraklarından mı geldin?" -Narnia Günlükleri: Aslan, Cadı ve Dolap

Bir dönem herkesin evindeki dolabının farklı bir dünyaya açıldığını sanmasına sebep olan o seri, Narnia Günlükleri. Serinin ilk kitabı 1950 yılında yayımlandı. İrlandalı yazar C.S. Lewis'in kaleminden çıkmış olan büyülü hikaye, içinde pek çok hristiyan miti ve çocuklar için ders çıkarılabilecek hikaye barındırıyor. Serinin ikinci kitabı olan Aslan, Cadı ve Dolap, 2005 yılında Walt Disney tarafından sinemaya uyarlandı. Hafızalardan kazınmayacak olan kült bir filme dönüşen Aslan, Cadı ve Dolap, sinemaya uyarlanan serinin ilk filmi. Aslan ismi ve türk lokumu gibi türk motifleriyle süslenmiş olan Narnia Günlükleri, ilk çıktığı zamanlar Türkiye'de de izleyicinin beğenisini toplamıştı. Bu yazımızda Lucy, Susan, Edmund ve Peter'a Narnia'nın kapılarını açan filme daha yakından bakacağız.

Ebeveynleri tarafından savaştan uzak kalmaları için kırsal bir kasabada bir tanıdıklarının evine gönderilen kardeşler, Lucy, Susan, Edmund ve Peter, ilk kez gittikleri bu evde pek çok odanın ve eski eşyanın bulunmasından çok etkilenirler. Fakat evde onları en çok şaşırtan şey, bu hikayenin de başlamasına sebep olan Narnia'ya açılan dolaptır. En küçük kardeşleri Lucy, bir gün, kaldıkları evi gezerken başka bir ülkeye açılan bir dolap bulur. Dolabın içinden geçerek dışarıda karla kaplı bir diyara geçen Lucy, ilk başta ne kadar şaşırsa da sonrasında bu durum çok hoşuna gider.

Dolaptan geçerek girdiği bu karlı ormanda Tumnus adında bir Faun'la tanışır. Faun, ona bu ülkenin Narnia olduğunu söyler. Lucy'yi evine davet eder.

"Uzaklardaki 'Boşoda' ülkesinde, sonsuz yazın hüküm sürdüğü aydınlık 'Giysi Dolabı' şehrinden olan Havvakızı, benimle bir çay içmeye ne dersin?"

Bu sırada eline aldığı flütüyle Lucy'nin uykuya dalmasına sebep olan bir şarkı çalan bay Tumnus aslında, onu kaçırmak istemektedir. Lucy uyandığında, Faun üzülerek ona her şeyi itiraf eder ve bu emri ona Beyaz Cadı'nın verdiğini söyler. Emre göre Tumnus ormanda bir ademoğlu veya havvakızı görürse yakalayıp Beyaz Cadı'ya götürmelidir. Lucy'ye, hemen kaçıp eve gitmesini söyleyen Faun, sonrasında ortadan kaybolur. Eve gittikten birkaç gün sonra bu sefer kardeşleriyle tekrar dolabın içinden geçerek Narnia'ya geçen Lucy, bay Tumnus'un kendisine yardım ettiği için Beyaz Cadı tarafından kaçırıldığını öğrenir. Bu olayla birlikte dört kardeşin Narnia ülkesindeki heyecan verici yolculuğu başlar.

Disney, fantastik ve macera filmlerindeki becerisini burada da konuşturmuş diyebiliriz. Sizi günlük yaşamınızın monoton ve sıkıcı düzeninden kurtaracak bir ülke Narnia. Filmi inceleyen çoğu insan, filmde Aslan'ın H.z. İsa'yı, Pevensie kardeşlerin ise havarileri temsil ettiğini düşünüyor. Umutsuzluğa kapılmış bir ülkeyi kurtarmaya gelen bir kahraman ve havarileri... düşününce kulağa mantıklı geliyor.

Müzikleri, kostümleri ve senaryosuyla 1 Oscar ve 18 dalda başka ödüllere layık görülen film pek çok dini mit ve öge içermesiyle, akıcı senaryosu ve duygusal sahneleriyle izleyiciye eşsiz bir seyir keyfi sunuyor. Serinin tüm kitaplarını okumuş biri olarak hikayenin kendi başına bir baş yapıt olduğunu söylemek çok da yanlış olmaz. his earliest memories of birth parents are clouded with fear, a combination of transference from his mother and genuine terror at his father's temper.

the increasingly tense situation at home was what caused his mother to flee her home country and seek to start a new life with her son far away from him.

bo was five when they eventually landed in aurora bay, where defne became fast friends with ella and adrien winters.

his already shaky world was flipped on it's axis once again at the age of 6 when his mother passed away suddenly in the night. bo was the one to find her in her bed and to this day he can still recall how cold her hands were.

the details of her death aren't known to him even as an adult, which was a choice he made to protect himself from something he's not sure he'll ever be ready to know.

with his life in upheaval and the possibility of his father being sought out as his remaining parent, he was lucky that adrien and ella stepped in to take him in and look after him in the immediate weeks following his mother's death.

born and raised in half moon bay sevket came from a small little family. his mother a stay at home mom and his father owning his own handyman services known around town. it wasnt much money and the family got by with what they needed. however regardless of never being rich sev was always a happy child. the boy never once complained about not having the newest shoes and gaming toys. he was rich in family and both his parents had loved and spent lots of time with him that was good enough for him.

through high school sevket kept mostly to himself. he enjoyed spending time in the library and loved spending time with evie. evie and him had became the best of friends in grade school and all through high school he had grown closer and closer to the female she truly was really the only one he had confided in. when he was a freshman his fathers work had slowed down which causes the family to hit even harder times. this resulted in sevket spending a lot more time with evie from time to time to avoid the fighting it caused at home. when tenth grade rolled around his fathers business had picked up and was better than ever. the fighting between his parents had stopped or at least he had thought.

a slow burn love sev thought he had with evie and the two had finally started dating his junior year. he had felt like everything in his life was going perfect. yet over the years the two had dated something had just felt off.. sure savket had loved evie however it didnt feel like that romantic type of love. yet he clung to it.

when sev had turned 18 and graduated his father and mother had broke the news that they were getting a divorce. sevket world was crushed thinking his family had this perfect marriage that could survive anything. it was a slap to the face but it only made sev cling to the perfect happy imagine of what a marriage should be. upon graduating despite that odd feeling with ev he instantly started bothering her her to marry him. he was determined to prove to his parents that love could concur all and nothing would break up true love. yet true intimate love was certainly something that ev and sevket were missing. sev ignored it and continued on with the engagement even though it certainly felt like more two friends living together.

Kerem began life fleeing from his original country, his father fled from Yugosalvia earlier, and his mother followed with him a few months later. They immigrated to Turkey which was his mothers original country, he of course doesn’t remember any of this, he was only six months old when they left for a better life. In Turkey he grew up for a few years before they again wanted to move on, his grandparents disapproved of her choices and she always felt like an outsider. 

They left when he was five years old, moving to Aurora Bay for him to start his elementary school journey. He bobbed along, working slowly at things and he never excelled in anything, choosing to use his infectious personality to make friends with people rather than wanting to do well in school. He has always been extroverted and has such a happy personality which shone through when it came to making friends and excelling in the social aspect of his life.

It was when Kerem was thirteen that the weight of his mothers depression really started to come out, and a few months after she had a breakdown she took her own life. He tried his best to pick up his happy personality, but he lost interest in everyone and everything. It wasn’t until he was sixteen that the depression was slowly starting to ease and he began remembering who he really was.

He got an opportunity at seventeen to try out a few days on the radio and learning what radio was about, it invigorated him and suddenly had a new lease on life. He really was returning to the bright kid that he once was, starting to go out and meet people again. He took up working in retail for a bit before he put in his application at the radio, he joined first as low grade DJ occasionally working but his segment was getting good reviews and they kept him on.

His first girlfriend when he was nineteen gave him something more hopeful to enjoy, and as time went on, he began getting so focused on the radio that he was ignoring her and he wasn’t doing it intentionally, but the relationship completely fell apart. He learned a lot with that relationship, and he worked hard to regain her friendship, but it was never meant to be more than a friendship at the end of the day.

His little segment had been doing so well, and kids were really enjoying his personality, so he was offered a bigger part once a week. Two years ago he was offered his daily segment and he took that with both hands, building up Kids Corner with Kerem. He used the vibrant personality he had built up over the years to really make sure that he was a firm fixture every day.

At the start of this year his childhood best friend moved back home, Tori. It wasn’t long before he decided it just made sense to move in with her. For the longest time people acted like it was in the stars that they’d be married one day, but it has been years, and nothing like that has happened, in fact they’re more so siblings who annoy the hell out of each other, entirely out of their mutual love and respect for each other.

Kitman Labs Expands Performance Deal With NWSL Expansion Team, Bay FC

Oscar’s adoptive aunt, Henrietta Pine, is a leporine faunus—her primary trait is her rabbit-like dentition—born and raised in the Palash region of southern Anima. The region is not a part of Mistral, although its western margins do spill into the hinterlands of Kuchinashi and the exact location of the border is a matter of ongoing dispute.

Despite being some of the most fertile country in Anima, the Palash region has not been annexed by any larger neighboring state since late antiquity; the danger posed by Mount Atrox, one of the largest and most active volcanoes in the world, and the grimm-infested jungles surrounding it, imposes serious operational and logistical problems that make large-scale administration of the region prohibitively difficult.

Most of the region’s population lives in a constellation of interdependent free towns and villages, although a significant minority of mainly faunus are pastoral nomads. Henrietta was born into one such nomadic group, orphaned by grimm at the age of ten, and taken in by then-childless farmers afterwards. She now lives in a village called Radicar, near the contested border with Mistral, on the farm she inherited from her adoptive parents.

Henrietta is, by the standards of the region, fairly wealthy—which is to say, she owns a horse: a cobby bay mare named Feray. She runs the farm together with her younger brother, Emre Solsen, his partner Glencoe, and their children, Alon, Lina, and Talha, the youngest of whom is twelve years Oscar’s senior. Although she of course takes to the fields during all-hands-on-deck times of year—plantings and harvest—Henrietta herself is an indifferent farmer and spends most of her days at the Radicarian guardhouse, where she organizes the village’s branch of the regional militia.

She is not a huntress—but she does know how to fight grimm, a necessity for people who live outside the kingdoms.

(Oscar’s assertion that he never had combat training before means something different than it would mean to someone who grew up in one of the kingdoms: the regional militia comprises volunteers between the ages of nineteen and sixty, and Oscar—being fourteen—had never drilled with them before, but he was raised knowing how to fight and defend himself as a matter of course.)

The militia is organized around a system of watchtowers, signal lamps, and horse-drawn trolleys which run on tracks running between every settlement in the region. If one town or village is attacked—whether by grimm or bandits—the combined forces of the entire region can be swiftly mobilized to its defense. Palashian nomads do not directly participate in this system, but most groups have a few riders acting as message-runners and scouts on behalf of the farmers full-time, in exchange for the promise of shelter, supply, and protection should the nomads suffer any calamity.

company  wide  events  had  its  downsides    —    forced  reunion  with  the  coworker  from  the  fifth  floor  who  always  leans  in  a  little  too  uncomfortably  close  when  he  speaks  to  you,  not  to  mention  having  to  hold  conversation  without  trailing  off  to  work  matters  with  people  you  barely  knew  outside  of  the  office.  but  it  equally  had  its  upsides,  namely  no  one  questioning  the  use  and  abuse  of  the  bottomless  mimosas  available  at  brunch.  hence  why  emre  found  himself  lifting  champagne  flute  to  his  lips,  emptying  what  must  have  been  his  third  if  not  fourth  glass.  he  considered  it  the  necessary  complement  to  the  task  he  had  assigned  himself,  namely  answering  the  pile  of  high  priority  work  emails  that  had  begun  to  stack  within  his  inbox.  after  all,  it  was  easy  to  give  into  his  workaholic  tendencies  if  it  gave  him  an  excuse  to  escape  the  aimless  small  talk.    “  oh,  you’ve  got  to  be  kidding  me,  ”    he  then  sighed  under  his  breath  at  the  sight  of  a  new  notification,  setting  down  the  empty  glass  as  brows  creased  into  their  characteristic  frown.
