GIRLS BOUT Vol.2 - [ Intro ]

　computer fightのギタリスト・諦念玲奈氏の影響で「ガセネタの荒野」を読んだ。1977年頃にのみ活動したあるバンドの記録。 「言うも愚かな事だが、書くことは事実を写し取る手段ではない。もし嘘という言葉を使うのであれば、書くこと自体が、不可避的に嘘をつくことだ」という自己弁護を始める前に、著者 大里俊晴は次のように誓ってみせる。 「僕が、僕らについて」「事実」だと「認識している事しか書かない」

　ではその約30年後、2010年代・インターネット及び東京周辺で起きたインディーロックシーン——Boyish, For Tracy Hyde, (仮)ズ, Elfs In Bloom, Once A Day, TenkiameやFragile Flowers, littlegirlhiace, Kensei Ogata, Shortcake Collage Tape或いはCanata Records等インディー・ネットレーベル達——の活動は、いつか誰かが記録にしてくれるだろうか。 　彼らは疑うべくもなく存在し多くの作品を生み出したが、だからといって"荒野"のような記録が残ることは無かった。 　 　しかし2023年現在。「GIRLS BOUT Vol.2」が開催されること、すなわち企画者littlegirlhiaceとFUZZKLAXON, そしてTTUD, カルト3, Murray a cape, Empty Classroomらがまさに今共演する事となったのは、この企画が前述の「2010年代・インターネット及び東京周辺のインディーロックシーン」から地続きの物であるからという事に他ならない、……などとは決して断言しないが、それでも忘れたり無かったことには断じて出来ない不可分な要因の一つだ。 　 　littlegirlhiace・ふにゃっち氏はかつてFragile Flowersのサポートドラムをしており(2017年4月開催の千葉SHOEGAZER出演時)、littlegirlhiaceとしてのキャリアのスタート、つまり1st E.P.であるセルフタイトルのリリースは2017の1月であった。 （以降アルバムを年2, 3枚という脅威のスピードでリリースし続けている。また、そもそもlittlegirlhiaceと��バンド名というよりは彼のロックバンド・プロジェクトであり、スタジオアルバムはあくまで全て彼1人の演奏およびセルフミックス・マスタリングで仕上げられた作品であることは強調しておきたい。） 　FUZZKLAXON・Nota氏はバンド始動以前、学生時代より動画サイト等にオリジナル楽曲を投稿。愛知在住ということもあって10年代中頃まで東京周辺シーンと直截に交差することは長らく無かったものの、いまは亡き渋谷乙でのGirl Ghostとの共演以前からFUZZKLAXONはSNS等でその名の知れた存在であった。 　また、*⑴昨年 2022年11月、littlegirlhiaceと念願の共演を果たしたPot-pourriはSawawo氏(Ex-Once A Day）、液晶氏(Ex-(仮)ズ)が在籍しており、そしてTTUDのメンバーは全員、Sawawo氏が学生時代に所属していた軽音部の部員、つまり同級・先輩後輩の間柄だった。 　Empty Classroom・坂口氏は学生時代、littlegirlhiaceの楽曲にインスパイアされて作曲を始める。 　Murray a capeのメンバーと私は自身らのバンド活動が始まる前から知人であったし、何より「GIRLS BOUT Vol.2」での共演よりもずっと前からlittlegirlhiace, FUZZKLAXON, TTUDは勿論、先に挙げたアーティスト達の熱心なリスナーだった。 　2010年代のシーンから2023年現在まで、個人/バンドの局所的な営みが緩やかに絡み合って続いている。 　そしてそれら現在進行形の収束点こそ、littlegirlhiace・ふにゃっち氏が「FUZZKLAXONとカルト3の共演を観たい」という（あくまで一因だが）意思のもと企画・開催した「GIRLS BOUT Vol.2」であった。 　2023.04.11 ------------------------------------ *⑴ 4月11日公開当初、littlegirlhiaceとPot-pouuriが既に複数回（=2公演以上）に渡り共演しているような書き方をしてしまいました。Sawawo氏ご本人より、両者の共演は2023年4月22日時点で1度であるとご指摘を頂戴しました。 　先ず、明確に意図して「現在から顧みた主観的な過去の記録」の側面を文章に持たせようとしているにも関わらず、このような誤った情報を公開しましたことをお詫び申し上げます。 　そして、ご指摘のお陰で本文が「私個人の回想やノスタルジー」だけではなく、客観的視点を含めた「記録」的側面を持つ事が出来たのではないかと存じます。 　注釈というスペースの中で大変恐縮ですが、まずは書中にて御礼申し上げます。(2023.4.22)

Prompt 20 - Transfiguration Classroom

“Why is it we always end up in here?” Remus asked between kisses. “It’s like you’re trying to get us caught by McGonagall,” He complained as Sirius nipped at his bottom lip. 

“You know me, Moony, I like to live dangerously,” Sirius smiled against his lips, pecking little kisses on and around his mouth. “Besides, McGonagall’s in her office upstairs, and she hasn’t got any more classes today,” Sirius moved his mouth to Remus’s neck and sucked on his pulse point. Remus felt his knees go weak. He hadn’t even known that was a thing until Sirius had kissed him there the first time. He relaxed into Sirius’s touch and forgot that they were even in the transfiguration classroom. 

It didn’t last long. Less than a minute later, the proximity charm he’d set went off, and someone began to open the door. Without a word, Sirius pulled James’s invisibility cloak out of his bag and threw it over them both just as McGonagall walked into her classroom. 

Remus tried to keep silent, but Sirius, being the menace he was, had pressed himself against Remus and reached up to continue sucking little bruises into the column of his neck. Remus had to clamp his hand over his mouth to stop from moaning. But he must have made a noise because McGonagall looked up from her desk right at them. 

She stood up and walked slowly towards where they were hiding under the cloak when a loud bang from down the corridor made them all jump. She took a long breath and expelled it sharply through her nose before she went to see what all the commotion was. 

“Prongs, my absolute hero,” Sirius grinned at him as they quickly gathered their things and made a hasty retreat. He must have spotted them on the map and seen McGonagall come in. He probably thought they were pulling a prank and needed some help getting out of there. 

“No more transfiguration classroom,” Remus hissed into Sirius’s ear as they hurried back up to Gryffindor Tower. Sirius agreed. That had been too close.

When she first took off her helm and I saw her true form in the comic, my jaw dropped. I LOVE the red and cyan color scheme, the overabundance of eyes, the way she billows like smoke; the fact that she's so much more human than the other angels is incredibly important to her arc as she struggles against the system and learns how to accept herself and her gender. She's so good.
