So what was Grumbot meaning when he instructed Joe to protect False with or from a fishing rod? Or protect the fishing rod with or from false.

Grumbot was there when False got shocked by the button so they probably became curious about False’s role in this, I’m guessing it sent False’s player data into Grumbot’s brain? Unfortunately Grumbot is quite reserved and stays silent about a lot of things so we likely will never know the 4D Chess game that they are playing.

Pixlriffs has uploaded a new episode???

AKA: The newest episode of "Hermitcraft Recap" is out, and is voiced by Pix himself! Every Sunday it recaps what the hermits have been up to, and is a big recommendation for anyone interested in Hermitcraft. You can watch it to see who's content you might like, as well as to keep up with what other hermits have been doing, in a short 20 or so minute video.

Sarah Z's newest video on fanon is really interesting in the context of Empires SMP, like Empires seems like the next step up from fanon mildly being hinted at in canon, Empires fanon directly effected the course of the story, or at least it seems to, and there is a very wobbly line that I think has to be walked by the creators in using fanon to continue story telling without A) making fans feel more involved and entitled than they are, and B) become completely uncharacteristic in their character choices, possibly coming off as blatant, and not well executed, fan service. Luckily Empires managed to not do any of that I think, they drew inspiration from fanon and it bettered their story and made fans more invested.

I think there is a bit of a flaw in the fact that to seem like a natural story progression, and the nature of communal fanon, no one is credited for the ideas, when there is no original source that is good and perfect, however sometimes ideas originate with one person and I hope if there has been, that they were at least thanked for their ideas.

I think now there is a president set that fanon can effect the course of Empires that fans need to remember to respect whatever direction season 2 takes and don't feel entitled to be able to effect the story, and respect the character choices. It is also really good that the creators are listening to fans because if something ever came up that was pointed out as harmful or distasteful it could mean they could change it quickly.

In conclusion, really just beautiful story telling from the ccs, fanon is my favourite thing about fandom spaces, I'm super excited for season 2, and remember to treat ccs like regular, and specifically not your friends, people that they are <33333

My guess: The Empires rift is weaker than Grian’s one, which can be seen in how Grian’s rift is an actual portal while on Empires it’s just stained glass.

Something I noticed about the rift is that sound travel slowly though it, at least from the Empires side.. cause Princess Gem did talk to the portal before the festival, however Hermit! Gem, heard Princess Gem after Grian and the Hermits went to the rift

It's hilarious to me that in both seasons of empires Shubble and Joey start out being friends and then progressively become rivals and start despising each other. It's even better of you headcanon the e2 characters as reincarnations of the first ones bc it becomes that post about two people who keep meeting from past lifes but instead of being in love they hate each other's guts

Absolutely destroyed by that whole duel thing ajskahdjajd like I was laughing soo hard but then later when Katherine was talking to them you could see Shelby was so embarrassed of having taken part in it at all 😭 shubble has always had rly great minecraft body language imo

And aww they all held hands!!! Yes friendship but also I couldn't stop thinking about the "Katherine has two hands" thing. Throuple for the win in our hearts only

I do hope that nature wives will eventually be canon this season...like I'm not upset at all on the outcome this time around, and there's always fanfic if it doesn't work out, but I can't stop thinking about how many years would be added to my lifespan if I could see 1 canon wlw couple on Empires

After Katherine's recent episode, I Need someone to make a compilation of her being disgusted by Joey. The whole thing was hilarious tbh (also the man deserves an Oscar for making me hate him this much)

Ok omg I literally woke up at 3am in cold sweat and I have to talk about this somehow bc otherwise I might wither away. I have had this on my brain 24/7 for like three days straight bc Neurodivergent Brain™ will not let it go.

I was listening to a playlist related to Empires S2 (I can't for the life of me remember which one it was I'm so sorry but I did find it in the tags somewhere) and among the songs was Never Love an Anchor by The Crane Wives (which are one of my favorites artists but somehow this specific song had escaped me) and now I literally Cannot stop thinking about how it's such a perfect song relating to Shelby and Katherine in E2. LIKE YOU DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND-

On some level I think I always understood

Shelby has to deal with her feelings of self-doubt and that she's never been good enough and that she always fAiLS-
