Introduction

Hi and thank you for reading my fashion blog mes chéries. If you don’t know I, daviahrose am your one and only source into all things fashion and your ultimate guide on to how to be a it girl. Todays piece is on a few tips of how you can dress coquette. Have an idea you want me to post? Feel free to send some suggestions! :)

Please also keep in mind that there might be some imperfections in this blog. If there are I will be editing them.

1.Colors and fabrics

Coquette is a very delicate ethereal aesthetic which is why you have to look it too. In coquette I notice a bunch of colors they use are very light pastels such as mostly light/dusty pink, white, light/dusty blue, light/dusty purple, and sometimes a little black or brown (but that’s more into dark coquette)

Some fabrics you should make sure your clothes have are floral, ribbons, lace trim, ruffles, frills, scallops, little rose details, and maybe some heart patterns

Some ideas for clothes would be Henley tops, baby tees, cable knit sweaters, pleated skirts, flare or bootcut jeans, fold-over flare leggings, lace trim or scalloped camis, lace trim long sleeves, and fur anything such as coats and earmuffs.

2.Makeup

Your makeup should be light, airy, and precise. Very dainty and feminine. Colors like light pink, light brown, dusty purple, and maybe some white shimmer but at least some form of shimmer from these colors. Also don’t go too bold with your lips. go for colors like light pink, coral pink, and a nice neutral shade such as “boy” from Chanel (Lily rose’s favorite) try very hard to avoid heavy makeup looks. Coquettes are known for their somewhat natural effortless beauty.

Some makeup brands I suggest are Too Faced Cosmetics, Elf, Dior, Chanel, Kaja, Rom&nd, and Flower Knows.

Also keep in mind like Serena Vanderwoodsen said “lipstick lasts longer but gloss is more fun”

3.Shoes

Shoes that coquette people wear often are Ballet flats. And most times if they wear Repetto’s or Chanel shoes they are thifted (coquettes like to thift for the aesthetic. From what I see on Tik Tok) some other shoes they like to wear are knee high boots. Make sure they aren’t skin tight either because that is not the aesthetic. Another pair of shoes are Converse or mini Uggs because they are cute and classic.

4.Brands

Some brands coquettes like to wear are…(ranges from some being expensive to inexpensive) Chanel, Brandy Melville (coquettes practically live at Brandy), Repetto, Miu Miu, Shein (controversial), Amazon, Etsy, Emmiol, Vivianne Westwood, Dior, Yesstyle.

Just from what I observed or have been hearing from Tik Tok.
