Closed: @emiradursun – A spa moment for the girls.
"Gosh that was so needed!" she smiled as they returned to their hotel room for the day. Luisa had dived into the deep-end when it came to taking on the previous school psychologist case load on top of her evaluations. She'd finally gotten through every grade level and could now appropriately make the necessary recommendations for the remainder of the school year. Thankfully, she had someone like Emira who could pull her out of her work and take some time for herself. "I didn't even realized my shoulders were that tense." Her knots had knots and now she felt like a free bird.

"I feel like a penguin in this Emira." One of his dear friends from college was getting married at the end of February which meant his lovely bridezilla as driving Roman up the wall. Being the best man, he was being wrangled into this circus to heed the commands and directions of Camila. How she expected him to wear this for eight hours was absurd. "She thinks she has good taste, but I would like to counter that point." What was wrong with a pair of khakis and a linen shirt. It was a beach wedding after all. "No one in their right mind does a black-tie beach wedding.

setting: semi-flashback to lithia, matilda tyrell joins a party from the reach that attended this event, quickly seeking out her friend, emira mallister, who she first met one summer at the arbor, the two quickly becoming good friends ; starter for @emiravmallister
matilda knew her time need be spent socializing with many this evening, and she found herself making her usual rounds along the room, of course first thanking the tully queen herself before seeing to greet the houses she knew more closely this evening, the remainder of house tully, bracken, ryger, darry firstly, and then of course, house mallister, where she knew she could likely find emira and swiftly depart to do whatever it was young ladies did at these times.
while the lady of house tyrell knew how to throw a good party, she were intrigued by how lithia seemed to play out, though she were used to much glamor in the reach, it were the spirit of the occasion that seemed to fill the room with all of the atmosphere it needed. she found such a thing to be admirable, that lords and ladies could come together so harmoniously this evening. she were convinced should anyone be bored or miserable, it would be their own doing.
she found herself sat at one of the oak tables now, emira seated in front of her, small plates and cups of various foods and drinks before her. another secret to a good party was, of course, what was served, and tilly had always ventured to try a little bit of everything anywhere she went. finger pointed to a cut of meat she didn’t quite recognize. “what is this exactly? and do not tell me i’ll hate it, i really want to try everything.” she insisted, though as she scanned the offerings before her even she knew it’d likely be a feat in and of itself.

Pushing a freshly made drink that she hadn't requested across the bar in front of her, his head flicks sideways to another guy at the opposite end of the bar.
"The drink is from over there, but—" he leans across the bar slightly, smirk plucking at the corners of his mouth as he continues. "— guy tries this most days he's in here, so just accept the drink and he wont bother you unless you want botherin'. And if you want botherin' these much better options."
Brow cocked, he drops the smirk as he steps back and picks up a cloth so he can wipe down the bar area.

hunter and emira @ofwrxth
"Oh, ma'am, you dropped this." Hunter called ahead, scooping up the blanket that had slid from her shoulder and he jogged slightly to close the distance. It wasn't until the stranger turned around to reveal a familiar face and an unexpected closeness, making his mouth twitch into a grin as he peered down to Emira Temel. "What the hell you doing back?" he asked with curiosity, not stepping backwards but gently placing the blanket back onto her shoulder where it fell from. Then he peered over her other side to the fussing baby, who's cries were drowning out any possible conversation. "Need some help?" he offered, not exactly with a warm tone but a slight cockiness because if Danny could see them now he'd think this was that house party with Kenzie all over again. "Was Boston good? Cold, I bet? Weird voices too."

@ofwrxth danny / emira, temel apartment
-
Danny was in a haze. For once, a sober one. There was no cloud of helpful smoke getting him through the day, just an exhausted adrenaline as one hand gripped the carrier and his other arm was aiding Emira up the steps. "You got it?" he asked in a whisper, helping her with each stair. His eyes flicked between both mother and baby, studying the tiny daughter that was sleeping soundly and unaware of all of the fear and confusion about her arrival. Samara Anderson, little Sammie. Danny hadn't been brave when Koda was welcomed into the world and he was ashamed to admit that the same thought crossed his mind a few times. Could he even do this? Should he? But when he held her, having to adjust how gently he had ever held anything in his life, Danny's sense of purpose was refilled. Once in the apartment they'd call home for now, Danny still helped Emira with each of her steps. "You want the couch or bed?" he asked, still glancing to Sammie who was stirring slightly at the noise of Atlas' happy paws to come and greet them. Instinctively, he raised the carrier higher. "You want a beer to celebrate?" he then grinned to her, moving his hand from around her waist to cup the side of her face and bring her closer for a small kiss on her temple.

★・・・・・・★
"Oh my God, look at her." Kenzie let out a quiet coo as soon as she saw the tiny bundle of joy in Emira's arms. "She's so little!" she squealed in a whisper, one hand in Koda's to stop him from a rampage in the apartment. "Kodes look, that's your little sister are you gonna say hi?" she encouraged, letting Koda go and watching as he neared carefully. Kenzie flashed Emira a smile, coming closer herself to offer up the useful and also mama-self-care gifts she got for her. It wasn't even an unlikely friendship, the two of them could bond over a lot more than motherhood. "How are you feeling? If there's anything I can do around the apartment, I got you." she said, coming to sit beside the other woman and watching as Koda was in a state of awe and questioning. "She's Sammie, Kody. Kody and Sammie, you're gonna be the best of friends."

It probably wasn't the best idea to show up to a rave event as a cop. Even if everything was perfectly fine and legal, he didn't really want to know what could've been happening in dark corners. His being off duty meant he didn't need to know either. One or two drinks in and Levi found himself moving just slightly to the music. "Do you know this song?"

"Oh, wow. So I'm looking at a fellow bullshitter, huh?" Mars asked, eyebrows raising in challenge. He detected the annoyance, but he was used to that being directed toward him. He also really didn't deal well with pretension, which was very much what he was picking up on here. "The... 'ripe fruit of this Cab Sav'...?" he repeated suspiciously, unsure if he could trust the opinion of anyone who unironically shortened the name of a wine.
To put a finer point on it, he raised his own glass to his lips and took a sip, wincing as it coated his tongue and went down. "Yeah, no, that's horse shit, rubbing alcohol, and feet. Do they stomp their own grapes here? Maybe they should let their guy know that he needs to wash his fucking dogs a little better before he gets in there."
@emiradursun
It was a gorgeous day and a gorgeous day such as this one called for wine tasting. Taking herself out on a day date, she happily sipped on the delicious wine as she worked on her laptop while texting Axel about work. It was then she heard a voice from a table near hers and she looked over at the man speaking. When she heard the words, 'horse shit' escape his lips, she only raised a brow. "Fresh tires and horse shit, huh? Real clever," she said, trying her best not to roll her eyes and look too annoyed. "While you taste...horse shit, I'm getting more flavor from the ripe black fruit of this Cab Sav and it's earthy notes," she said before taking a sip. "Hm...more aromas of black cherries and vanilla."

Trix had blacklisted himself from social media, they didn’t want to know what the alt-scene was saying about them for their spectacular fuck up on Slice’s last tour. Trix had been good at ignoring hate comments, replying to them with Come to a show, I’ll fight you. was good in their personal opinion. But when Yas told Trix about her gaming Tiktok, Trix was suddenly invested again. They couldn’t say no to someone so lovely, and someone who their best friend Fox loved so much. So here Trix was, for the first time in Yas’ apartment learning about fucking Tiktok and helping her boost her views. Dressed all in black leather in a room that was very...not black. “Alright, beautiful. I need a smoke. Pause the game.” Trix said, leaving her bedroom and pinching the cigarette from behind their ear. Their eyes settled on the other apartment dweller for a moment and they paused...feeling like they had been caught doing something not Trix-like. “You were Gandalf, right?”

downtown streets
Dustin was walking at a quick pace when he noticed Emira across the street. He remembered Danny mumbling about her being back in town. Dusty asked all the important questions. Was she single? Danny’s shrug meant he didn’t know or think about it which also meant Dusty had full permission. Stopping dead in front of her, Dusty smiled and clicked two finger guns in her direction. “Do you...want to have dinner with me?” he asked simply. “The best Anderson.”

“Did you want the Grim Reaper squishmelly thingy or the pumpkin, I forgot.” Fox’s excited voice was heard before he could be seen, his forgetful memory being costly on his wallet because he ended up getting both Squishmallows for Yasemin just in case. It was probably a funny sight, one plushie under each of his arms as he marched the downtown streets. But when he appeared into the apartment, it was the other Temel girl he was greeted with pretty much rendering him an awkward mess because he assumed she was out. “Oh shit, hi.” he waved, which made one plushie fall out from it’s resting place and he quickly scooped it back up again and waved again. “Emira, right? Hi. Fox.” he jumbled, suddenly not knowing how you’re meant to greet people. “I was uh...I thought Yas was home. My bad.”

"I like my name when you say it, do that again." He requested, unable to conceal his intrigue towards the stranger. Usually when he found himself looking at a pretty face, his curiosity lessened with conversation, his one track mind veering into boredom fast but so far he was remaining on course.
"Okay, that makes sense. I thought there was something city about you." It's less easy to explain his own origins, but rarely does he shy away from it. "I'm from Portland, originally. Then here when I was eighteen, prison at twenty-five, New York and the rest on and off at thirty and now I'm back here for my sins."
"Why the fuck not?" She repeated with a chuckle. Emira couldn't help but run her eyes down and back up his body, this man in front of her obviously attractive. Smirking when he said her name, she licked her lips and kept a hold on her drink. "Silas," she purred, "I like your name as well. I'm from New York City, Manhattan to be exact. If you wanted more in depth, my parents immigrated from Turkey before I was born," she chuckled again. "What about you?"

Del was a little behind the time when it came to things like Podcasts. They wondered what the difference was between that and an audiobook. But, whatever. It actually sounded like a good idea and also eating mac ‘n’ cheese while talking about unsolved mysteries was basically a way to Del’s heart. Taking a seat, Del eyed the microphone suspiciously and green eyes darted between the equipment and the other woman. “I gotta hold this thing right up to my face?” they asked even though their tone always sounded like they were throwing demands around. As they asked this, Del’s pale fingers grappled the microphone stand and they pushed their face closer. “Testing, one two buckle my shoe. Three four, your mom’s a...very lovely woman, get your mind out of the gutter.” Could people hear them? Little people in a screen...how curious. “Wait, are we live?”

There wasn’t a law about smoking a fat one while operating a skateboard, but in Danny’s case there should’ve been. He was pretty much functioning as one big cloud lately, smoking away the stress of Kenzie, Dylan and Koda and even the loss of friendship with Aiyla. Not to mention his pretty nose was still healing from Hunter’s mean right hook. He flew through the downtown streets, no set destination and was half tempted to keep on going until he left Bradford’s boarder. Luckily, his delayed reaction saw the potential collision into the back of a slow walker and he actually had time to stop himself. “Hey, watch it.” he called, probably not loud enough. Kicking up the board to his hand, Danny stumbled straight into the back of the stranger, pushing them both to collide together against the nearby wall. “I shouted hey but you didn’t hear me.” he griped with the raspy tone, joint hanging from his mouth as he pulled back with a huff. Then, she turned and his blue eyes lit up with confusion as he laughed. “What the fuck?” he muttered, still chuckling through the haze. “I mean, been a while since we been like this but damn. You’re back?”

@emiraxtemel at: outside the broom closet

With a collection of new incense, Bella departed the store which was one of her favourite places to go to. It was so relaxing, even with the guy who had curls as wild as she did in the music section who was nearly always headbanging. Today was a little different, Yas was there and joined at his hip which was adorable. And only made Bella think about Zak so of course, she suddenly requested as much calming scents as humanly possible. As soon as she stepped outside, Bella glanced to an old familiar face that made her do a double take. “Emmy?” she laughed awkwardly as her smile brightened, despite the awkwardness that they ended up being doused in back in New York City. “Holy shit, I had no idea you were back. Yas is inside.” she gestured with her thumb to the door. “I think she’s smitten with the music guy.”
