"Why not just have a dance party of one then?" Unless they were capable of enjoying their company by themselves. Roman would like to think it an art and skill to be acquired. He loved being on his own and truly relished in it. Time away from the pressures that was his family business were sought after daily. Even if he could just hop into a pool and get several laps under his belt was relaxing to the man. "Fair enough," he nodded before taking a swig from his drink. "Yeah. It was pretty solid out there today." A little windy and the swells were pretty decent. "You surf?"
“I mean I could try them I guess but if the crowed is boring tonight then it’s going to be a colossal waste of time.” Letting out a huff she motioned to the chair opposite him with a nod of her head, silently asking if she could sit before doing just that. “Plus I work at Oasis part time so unless I’m with like my people or fun people I don’t fancy hanging out there in my free time. You been surfing?” The blond noticed his slightly dishevelled look, like his hair had been frosted in salty water, either that or he’d just done a cold plunge. @rocavendish

"Oy! Then you'll surely cry if I move to the other side of the globe" he said laughing as he returned the hug to his baby sister. "I guess I can be nice...besides mom would definitely slap me upside the head if I didn't. Gosh, he remembered how excited he was to have someone else to play with when she was born. A fragile little thing that his mother made him swore to protect and cherish with every fiber of his being. Roman truly didn't fully comprehend what that meant at age six, but over the years it made much more sense to him. The world was ruthless and theirs was ten times as much. He had no doubt Lia would hold her own in the world, but if he could be there to support her, Roman would by every means. "You share you don't have a number one fan who was eager to make you dinner at home and swiped your keys?"
Goes to show just how much Lia paid attention to her crowds. By some stretch, Lia may even call them boring at this point, but god knows she would never in a thousand years say that out loud to anyone who came to hear her perform. If Lia had been paying attention to the crowd, looking down and seeing her brother would have been just enough to crack her in the middle of her performance, having her rushing off stage to wrap her big brother in an even bigger hug. But Lia knew that voice, as soon as she heard it behind her she knew exactly who it was and her face lit up like a Christmas tree. She turned and ran toward Roman, wrapping her arms around him and forgetting all about her keys. "Big brother! I have missed you terribly. Now, how could you even think about leaving your baby sister alone and vulnerable. I could really do with a ride home. Especially tonight."

Closed: @bradley-banner – Friends catching up over dinner.
It was funny to consider the path of life that merged and converged both Roman and Bradley together. The woman was one of the most fierce and capable individuals the Cavendish had the pleasure of knowing. Despite all the acclaim and successes that came with her birthright and her own will, the Banner was still the same girl at heart. The one whom he snuck kisses from in the simpler days of their youths. "Sorry I missed your big New Years shindig," he smiled as he took down another sushi roll. "Was it everything you ever dreamed of and more?"

Closed: @clint-bennet – Bros who fish together...
"I can't believe those motherfuckers just took our spot!" Roman didn't mind throwing a few words around if need be. He was looking forward to fishing and everyone knew that section of the jetty had some of the best catches. For the most part, people respected one another out in the waters. It was just a given, but these were some moron small-minded idiots who were being nothing but obnoxious. They had cut them off aggressively, almost sending Roman into the water to bypass them into the section. "We're not just gonna let them have it, right?" He didn't know what Clint's stance on this was but the Cavendish was certainly irritated if not slightly taken aback.

Closed: @emiradursun – Fashion points from a former model.
"I feel like a penguin in this Emira." One of his dear friends from college was getting married at the end of February which meant his lovely bridezilla as driving Roman up the wall. Being the best man, he was being wrangled into this circus to heed the commands and directions of Camila. How she expected him to wear this for eight hours was absurd. "She thinks she has good taste, but I would like to counter that point." What was wrong with a pair of khakis and a linen shirt. It was a beach wedding after all. "No one in their right mind does a black-tie beach wedding.

"Oooh that really sucks," he said shaking his head with a smile on his face. Roman had been out of town on business travel over on the East Coast and was more than thrilled to catch a flight home early. He hadn't told his sister as he wanted to come check out her set without her knowing. Roman had seen Lia perform countless times, but each sounded like a new treat to him every time he heard her sing on stage. She was fucking talented and probably one of the most multifaceted individuals he knew. Far better than him. However, Roman was the big brother which meant moments like these he wanted to capitalize and enjoy. "I would offer to let you come crash at my place, but you seem like an independent woman capable of figuring this out all by yourself."
Location: Golden Hour Lounge Bar &&: @aurorabaystarter
Lia had just begun to walk out from her set, there was something about singing in a lounge bar that had just hit her in the right way. It was something she had enjoyed doing, and something people enjoyed hearing her do also. It was a far cry away from the family's business problems and it was a wonderful way to distract herself from anything to do with familial issues at the present moment in time. Perhaps a kinder person would have stuck around to be supportive, however, Lia wanted to get out of that bar and find her way home. Lia needed the comforts of home, and by far she needed to soothe her throat, long nights of singing took a toll on her throat.
She shivered lightly as she stepped out into the cool air, rummaging through her bag for her keys. "Where the... Oh, come on you have to be kidding me!" She exclaimed, her fingers slipping through a hole at the bottom of her bag. "Fuck!"

Roman was enjoying a nice burger and beer at the Sea Shanty Shack when this young blonde approached him. He had been out in the water all day and actually preferred when the weather was much cooler in his wetsuit. Less people on the beach and it felt quite more serene without all the extra bodies fighting for waves. Chuckling at her question, he was curious to know where she'd came from and ended up here of all places. Yes, there was DJ but LA definitely seemed more like their scene. "Oasis or Sharky's is probably your best bet." Roman preferred the gem that was the music venue that showcased various talents throughout the area.
Where: In town somewhere Who: Open to anyone!
“Where is there to dance in this town? I mean I know I’ve been here for a while but I’m still yet to find somewhere decent. Or maybe it’s the people I’m with that are the problem and you can change everything?” Wiggling her eyebrows at the nearby figure with a wicked smile pulling at the corner of her lips. It was pretty late but she’d just finished a babysitting session and truly the blonde needed to let off some steam - preferably with alcohol or another fun additional extra to get involved in. “And I’m not talking like…shuffling from one foot to another like at a school disco, I’m talking like…dancing.” As she moved to indicate exactly what she meant with only the imagined song in her head for accompaniment. @aurorabaystarter

INTRO. ROMAN CAVENDISH
[cis man and he/him] Welcome to Aurora Bay, [ROMAN CAVENDISH]! I couldn’t help but notice you look an awful lot like [ROBBIE AMELL]. You must be the [THIRTY-FOUR] year old [BUSINESSMAN]. Word is you’re [GENIAL] but can also be a bit [CAVALIER] and your favorite song is [SUPERPOSITION BY YOUNG THE GIANT]. I also heard you’ll be staying in [FISHER'S COVE]. I’m sure you’ll love it!
TW: car accident, mention of death
Roman was born and raised in Aurora Bay to an old-money family known as the Cavendish. Being the oldest of two, the expectation fell to him at a young age, with a meticulously planned path to continue the family legacy.
For the longest time he had thought it was the best thing possible and with a platinum spoon at his disposal, why not? He excelled in the classroom and even more at athletics. Roman was the well-rounded, charismatic, and thoughtful kid.
Stanford bound, he was continuing on the trajectory that was destined for him. All was going well up until he got the sickening phone call his junior year of college. His mother had passed away in a car accident and just like that their family went to a lovely balance of four down to three.
It flipped his whole world upside down. His last two years of college, Roman was going through the motions, finding no joy in anything that he once loved. It was only being in the water that was his saving grace.
Sailing, surfing, swimming. It brought him a state of peace over everything else. Being by the water was the thing that bonded him to his mother in his youth. Therefore Roman wanted access to it all the time and to make it his life.
He's been committed to that lifestyle since he was twenty-two. Cruising along the west coast, checking off every beach town, lake, and marina. Of course, he's still tied to the family business since the persistence of his father has yet to yield. Ideally, Roman can take off and travel the whole world indefinitely and pass off the family company to his baby sister.
For now, he remains in Aurora Bay in between his quick trips around the globe. He's hoping he'll be able to get his dad to transfer the company succession to that of his sister and let him be free from these restraints once and for all.
