[[DEMO]] [[RO Character Profiles]] [[Other Characters Profiles]] [[Timeline]] [[Pinterest]]
Aequitas. There was a time when it was a household name (...or there was six years ago). There was no way the team could have avoided attracting attention. A group of heroes, let alone a group of teenage heroes, was always going to attract the world's attention.
Whether it was stopping crimes, combating villains, or protecting civilians, heroics added a sense of completion that other things could not.
It is inevitable that all good things in life come to an end, including the group that once protected Metanoia.
Although the name has lost its renown, a part of you still feels a slight sense of pride whenever the name of the ragtag group of young heroes is uttered. On some level, you assume that's to be expected.
After all, you used to lead it.
• Play as a former(?) vigilante that is suddenly thrown back into the world of heroics. Once the (superpowerless) leader of an unstoppable group of heroes, you are now job-hopping in order to stay afloat.
• Train a new group of (unskilled) new young (far too young) heroes (not at all against your will)!
• Customize your MC’s current personality (their past personality is a different story…) and appearance!
• Reunite with your former teammates and look back on what exactly led to your team disbanding (and try not to repeat your past mistakes).
• Form bonds with new friends and rebuild bonds with old ones.
• Reminiscence on your past and remind yourself what led you down the path of heroics in the first place.
• Romance your former (friends) teammates
• Defeat the villains and save the world (again). Obviously.
The (Original) Team [ROs]
Alexandria “Alex” Andeno [She/Her]
Alias: Elysian
The former co-leader of Aequitas, Alexandria Andeno is a force to be reckoned with. With her tactical mind as well as her unbeatable strength and stamina, Alex acts as the perfect warrior as well as the perfect protector to both civilians and her fellow heroes.
With her diplomatic and compassionate disposition she easily fell into the role of the team “big sister” and it was a title she wore with pride. She is someone that had always given great advice so it is unsurprising that she went on to become a therapist. However, there seems to be shadows of discontentedness hiding in different aspects of both her personal life and career.
Napoleon Jasper Jasp” Walker [He/Him]
Alias: Momentum
Your (former?) best friend. Loudmouthed and snarky, Jasper’s mouth runs almost as fast as him (a remarkable feat truly). Due to his (self-given) role as the goofball (moron) and prankster of the team, Jasper was not only a thorn in your side but also everybody elses.
Despite his rashness, Jasper is incredibly skilled and intelligent- a fact that is made abundantly clear from the awards hanging on his childhood bedroom wall as well as his job as a scientist at one of the most technologically advanced labs in the world. However despite his flaws you can always count on him to have your back (or that’s how it used to be).
Zhiuxzoe “Zoe” Smith [She/Her]
Alias: Onism
An alien from another planet, Zoe is truly an interesting being to be around. Despite her overly naive attitude, her bubbly and kind disposition make it truly difficult to be mad at her.
The most (openly) upset about the team disbanding, she is the only one who has went out of their way to keep in contact with all of the former members. Her overly inquistive and curious nature led her to journalism which she does exceptional job in despite it putting her in a position where her out of this world nature being revealed is at risk.
Rowan Parker [He/Him]
Alias: Kalon
Rowan Parker is the human embodiment of a forest fire- intense, pretty from a distance, and will 100% burn you if you get too close.
The former “bad boy” of Aequitas and currently a mechanic, his hot-headed demeanor is what led to him being the first to leave the team and was the main factor in his (initially one-sided) rivalry with you. Rowan is the only other (former) member of Aequitas that still fights crime, of course now and days he’s leaning more towards “anti-hero” then hero…
Vesper ??? [They/Them]
Alias: Lacuna
The kid that (forced) got you back in the game. An individual made up of all knowing smiles and snarky remarks, Vesper is an enigma that nobody can truly solve. They usually put up a hyperactive and occassionally “ditzy” attitude…although sometimes if you look close enough you can see something else lurking in the depths of their eyes.
Leonardo “Leon” Cabello [He/Him]
Alias: Curio
Compassionate yet uncertain, Leon is quite clearly the newest to the heroics business (of course that might be because of the ancient artifact forcing him into it…). With managing both schoolwork and heroics as well as being the only one on the team with any common sense, Leon has his work cut out for him.
Juniper “Juni” Kent [She/Her]
Alias: Apricity
Loud, hyperactive, and a bit obnoxious, Juniper Kent is about everything you would expect a teenage superhero to be. You’re more likely to find her playing on her phone then patrolling the city but behind her somewhat childish and excitable personality lies a truly kind and selfless indvidual that wants to help others.
Lenora “Nora” Croce [She/Her]
Alias: Moira
Painfully timid and incredibly kind, Nora is one of the most selfless people you will ever meet which is saying a lot considering she is in a group of other heroes. She would give you the clothes on her back and more if she needed to. Just make sure not to get on her bad side…
Sebastian Barrere [He/Him]
Alias: Calamity
The human version of the anti-christ, Sebastian Barrere is bratty, uptight, and just a little bit petty. Wanting nothing more than to prove himself both to the world and his mother, Sebastian focuses all his time on getting stronger. However there might be something kinder lurking beneath the surface of his prickly attitude.

do you happen to know the origin of elysian big naturals i tried to google it but then immediately regret it after i didnt specify kotlc
*touches the ground (my blog) gently* it happened right here...
The 7th of January, 2023, I received this ask (anon at the time, now we know it was @suffering-in-style), wondering how Sophie knew to use she/her pronouns for Elysian if we don't know anything about her under that cloak.
They joked that Elysian must've had HUGE tits and Sophie immediately thought "ah yes, girl." I continued the joke about her serious honkers. real set of badonkers. her packin some dobonhonkeros
and like with many other fandom jokes, it took off like everblaze

Keepblr Wrapped 2023
I'm not late I swear it's still 2023 in my time zone I'm technically on time
Anywayyyy this was a hell of a year and I remember basically none of it. But with the help of @kotlc-heritage-posts and various mutuals I figured out some of the things that happened
Antennae telepaths. Not technically this year, but it happened after the last keepblr wrapped and it deserves to make it in somewhere
Qualden gay sex shitpost got reblogged by haiku bot
Elysian big naturals
We all got really obsessed with Garwin Chang for some reason
Then we started shipping him with Alvar (Garvar) and they had a kid? Or something?
We had a best character poll in which people campaigned really hard for Garwin but ultimately he lost (Sophie won)
We had a sexyman poll in which people campaigned really hard for Brant but ultimately he also lost (Fintan won)
There was also a sexywoman poll and Vespera won that one
We started making fake posts from elf tumblr
The graphic novel came out and it was generally a fun time
Fin's uquiz got screenshotted out of context and broke containment very much. Last I saw it was at over 50K notes and counting
We had a gift exchange and everyone made wonderful fics and art
All in all, chaos and shenanigans ensued. I'm sure we will have more in 2024

Everyone sit down. Everybody sit down right now, we need to talk Andrew Schrader, I have sad and wholesome headcanons to spill.
Major spoilers for the Professor Layton series. Also, heads up, long ass post LOL
Dr Schrader taught archaeology. Targent is big in the field of archaeology. Naturally, the organization would come up during one of Dr Schrader's lectures.
And when it did, even though Hershel's memories of his parents kidnapping are repressed, his brain will still subconsciously recognize the organization.
And when it does, Hershel immediately goes into panic mode. He's in the middle of class, having a panic attack, in extreme distress, and Dr Schrader notices. Of course, he isn't going to call Hershel out in front of the entire class, so he tells the class to go do this random busywork and then will walk around pretending to look over their shoulders like he's checking their work, and then he discreetly slips Hershel a note.
The note asks if Dr Schrader can do anything to help, says that he is always there to support Hershel, and if Hershel needs to take a break from class, or wants to talk after class, he can. But no pressure, do whatever makes him comfortable. Just know that he is always supported and cares for.
And a similar situation happens when the Mask of Chaos is brought up. Except this time Hershel knows why he's so distressed. This time, he whispers to Dr Schrader if they can talk after class, to which Dr Schrader is like "Yes, of course!"
And Hershel ends up breaking down in Dr Schraders office as he recounts what happened that night in those ruins. How he watched his best friend die. Dr Schrader offers him a hug, which Hershel gladly accepts and sobs in his professors arms.
And then after Hershel graduated, Claire died. Hershel was in deep shock, grief. Who called him first? The man that didn't even teach him anymore, but still cared deeply about his emotional well being: Dr Schrader.
AND THEN HERSHEL'S ASSAULT. When Bill Hawks had him be beat so badly he was in a coma for a month. Dr Schrader visited him every single day. Wrote him little letters every single day. Had presents waiting for him when he woke up. Helped him pick up his flat that Bill Hawks ransacked.
And that's why Hershel was always so close with him, called him by his first name, Andrew, got a letter from him about the Elysian Box. They never lost contact. Because Hershel never forgot the man who always went out of his way to look after one of his hundreds of students, who went out of his way to help Hershel even after he no longer taught him. Never forgot Andrew Schrader.

The more I think about it, the more convinced I am that an Eden expy would be perfect for HSR.
Beauty... What is your definition of beauty? Did you have it? Did the old me have it?
TL;DR: Eden's a HI3rd character with themes/motifs around music, beauty, elegance, and so on. I think it would be cool to see an Eden expy in Honkai: Star Rail :)
Slightly longer TL;DR: Eden is a character whose story revolves around the meaning of beauty in an ugly world, a world in which terrible things happen to good people, in which the greatest and bravest heroes of humanity fail to save the day. In spite of this, even as the last cities of Earth crumbled to dust, Eden still held steadfast on her belief, and she had faith that even though her era is now fading away, the new era of humanity would "script their own fate and sing their own songs."
So I've seen a fair bit of discussion about expys on the HSR subreddit from time to time, and I figured I'd have a go at this with my own post discussing a pre-existing Hoyoverse character I'd like to see in HSR someday!
This post is mostly aimed at an HSR audience so I've written it in a way that should be understandable even without any prior knowledge of HI3rd, but fellow HI3rd peeps might enjoy it too :)
The thought of this came to me when I was playing HI3rd earlier, because when I was looking at Eden's signature weapon, I was thinking "wow, I forgot how beautiful that was" and then it hit me- one of Eden's core themes as a character is Beauty, making her a perfect candidate to be a future Pathstrider of the Path of Beauty! Whether part of the Knights of Beauty or part of a different faction or even walking this path on her own.
There's going to be some light spoilers for HI3rd's story, but nothing that spoils major story beats. Eden is a character from the Previous Era, meaning most of her story takes place in the form of archives and records of the past. This post is pretty much all backstory, and I won't discuss any important "secrets of the past" meaning any big plot twists should remain unspoiled.
So if you're ambivalent or unconcerned about HI3rd spoilers, I'd say it should be okay to proceed, but if you want to play it safe then you should probably return to this post later. All of this is lore from the Elysian Realm, so if you're already familiar with that then there won't be any spoilers at all :)
That being said, this post does contain some pretty heavy content. Nothing particularly graphic or violent, but there is discussion of death and trauma so please keep this in mind!
Some quick context, to start with:
HI3rd's story takes place on Earth, and in this setting there have been multiple "past eras". Over the course of a civilization's development, powerful apocalyptic beings called "Herrschers" appear and wreck havoc upon the world. When the final Herrscher, the Herrscher of Finality*, descends upon the Earth it removes all trace of the current existing civilization... or whatever remains of it. Over the course of 50,000 years a new civilization develops in its place until someday Finality returns once more and the samsara repeats.
Eden is a character belonging to the Previous Era (PE), which is the civilization immediately preceding the Current Era (CE), which is the present-day setting of HI3rd.
*disclaimer: this Finality is not related to the Path of Finality. It's a matter of translation, since the original text uses different characters.
Eden was living a pretty great life- she was a superstar and she was filthy rich, with global tours and widespread fame. In fact, several of the other major characters of the Previous Era (such as Kevin and Su) were fans of her music! Singing, playing instruments, she could do it all. Naturally, she was a fervent supporter of the arts.
Despite this, Eden was still living a "normal" life- a life in which she was blissfully unaware of the looming threat of Honkai. She became painfully aware of it when disaster struck during a concert of hers in Sydney (the PE version of it, of course). During this concert but elsewhere in the city, the 7th Herrscher awoke: the Herrscher of Fire. Almost immediately the entire city was engulfed in raging fires. According to some sources, even the entire continent of Australia was destroyed, but this may have been retconned so take it with a grain of salt.
Eden was (un)fortunate enough to survive this disaster, being saved by one of the former Fire MOTH soldiers that was under the leadership of the person that became the Herrscher of Fire. Though Eden survived and still retained her public image and wealth, there was no returning to her past life. She ended up learning about the organization Fire MOTH, humanity's leading force fighting against the threat of Honkai. While she kept her usual public image, she would also use her wealth to help support MOTH.
The past is no more, but I can still remember this moment. This is what I can do right now.
Over time Eden grew to become a more active member of MOTH, until someday even she would end becoming a soldier herself. She witnessed the toll of war as fewer and fewer soldiers returned from battle and as the survivors became increasingly worn and weary. Though many people knew of her music and appreciated it, as the war went on Eden realized even her music had its limits to how much it could help people. Because of this, Eden chose to volunteer for a program that would give her the strength to fight alongside the rest of MOTH.
One of MOTH's many programs to fight Honkai was the MANTIS project: augmenting humans with the DNA of Honkai Beasts, granting them tremendous power. If they survived the Meta-Morph surgery. Eden underwent this program and survived, placing her as part of an elite force with the strength to fight the Herrschers head-on.
Plus she got a sick pair of guns! so that's pretty neat ^.^
Unfortunately, we know how this story ends. We call it the Previous Era precisely because it ended. Even humanity's greatest heroes couldn't stop the crushing power of Finality.
Eden would not live to see the next era of humanity.
With this summarized backstory of Eden in mind, I'd like to share a few archive entries from HI3rd, featuring Eden. I was originally going to try and summarize and discuss these lore entries myself, but I think it'd be best to keep my thoughts to a minimum and provide the full text instead, so anyone reading this can think about it for themselves and come to their own conclusions instead of taking my word as law.
First, we have one of the records discussing the events of the awakening of the 7th Herrscher. Do note that I snipped out a portion of this archive to shorten it and reduce spoilers, so it's not the complete version found in-game.
Another part of Eden's backstory I want to mention is the way Eden interacted with another major member of Fire MOTH, Dr. Mobius.
Mobius is a pretty complicated character, because while she seems to be a straightforward "mad scientist" type of character, there's a lot of nuance to her behavior and attitude. It's difficult to sum it up, but in this case I'll focus on how other people perceive her: very negatively.
Dr. Mobius' work was groundbreaking for genetics and biology, and her projects (including the MANTIS project as well as early versions of Project Stigma) were crucial in fighting Honkai. However, she was incredibly intimidating and her experiments were... questionable, to say the least. Cold and calculating, not someone to inflict needless cruelty but also someone who doesn't let silly little things such as "ethics" get in the way of progress.
Interestingly, Eden is probably one of the few people that was capable of interacting with Dr. Mobius in a positive way. Many people found it difficult to work under the supervision of Dr. Mobius and most would go out of their way to avoid her, but it seems that Eden was not one of them. This scene in particular is a good example of this:
At this point I think Eden's theme of Beauty is quite evident, and I could probably cut the post short here. But there's one final part of Eden's story I'd like to share, and since it's a scene involving Mobius it builds on the previous entry quite neatly. Since I'm going to end the post with this scene, I'll give my final thoughts first!
I don't really think it's worth worrying too much about expys and whatnot, because ultimately the important thing is whether a given character fits the story, not whether they look like a past character. If we get a "HSR Kiana" or an "HSR Kiana", what matters is the way they fit into this setting. The setting of Aeons and Paths, of a diverse set of factions vying for power and influence across the universe, and how the Nameless will cross paths with this character.
But I wanted to make this post anyways because I feel like Eden's story is greatly underappreciated, and since it has such a neat connection with the Path of Beauty.
Eden's theme of "Beauty" is not just about Eden being a beautiful person, nor is about her beautiful music. To me, it's her understanding of humanity and the way that the arts allow us to connect with each other. It's her ability to reach out and connect with a person as cold and calculating as Mobius. It's just as Eden says, "something that makes people happy, guides the way, and sparks hope."
Just something to keep in mind when reading this final archive entry. I've also re-attached the same image from the start of the post, since I think it takes on a much more powerful meaning with this scene in mind.
For those who're curious, the first & last image of the post are a still shot from the credits of the HI3rd animation "Because of You", which is a very beautiful but also spoiler-filled animated short

Next, breaking this up. Anyone can join, I just need people to help organize this, and the plan is we sort it up by character/group, and eventually break it down into chapters, ordered by what would make sense in a basic plot structure. Then we will start figuring out technical things such as who is writing what.
Simply send me an ask or message if you're interested in helping me organize this!
And, if you have any and all suggestions, feel free to tell me!

hey!!! in your headcanonverse, what happens to Patroclus in the afterlife?? (or your opinions on what happens)
Hey, anon!!! I mix different versions!
As in The Iliad (and sources that repeat The Iliad), I make Patroclus limited to being outside the Underworld/Hades because his body wasn't given rest and therefore his soul wasn't given rest either. I use this rule for all characters who did not have the necessary funeral rites, such as the Trojan Polydorus (Euripides' Hecuba). I think this also explains, for example, part of the reason why Antigone was so concerned with giving rites to Polyneces (Sophocles' Antigone) and Clytemnestra, as a way of dishonoring her, not giving rites to Cassandra (Aeschylus' Oresteia). Of course, it's natural to want to bury your brother and of course leaving your victim's corpse to rot is particularly cruel regardless, but I think this concept helps in these contexts too. I also follow the idea shown in Argonautica Book 4 and the Troilus myth that one way to try to avoid punishment for murdering someone in a way that offends the gods is to mutilate the corpse, as Jason does with Apsyrtus and Achilles with Troilus (both heroes committed an act that offended the gods. Jason killed Apsyrtus in front of the temple of Artemis, Achilles killed Troilus inside the temple of Apollo). Another form I consider is purification, as seen for example in the myth of Peleus, who was purified twice (once because of the death of his half-brother Phocus, once because of the accidental death of his father-in-law).
After Achilles finally allows Patroclus to rest, I assume he went to Elysium, since most of the heroes were assigned to Elysium in post-Homeric sources. I say "post-Homeric" because in The Iliad there is no mention of anything other than "Hades", which is a generic term to describe the Underworld, and in The Odyssey the dead are in Asphodel regardless of who they are. There is a mention of the "Elysian Fields" when Proteus tells Menelaus that he is destined for them because he's Zeus's son-in-law, but it isn't even clear whether Homer's concept of the Elysian Fields is the same as in the later sources. However, later sources don't tend to place heroes in Asphodel.
I still wanted the dialogue between Achilles, Agamemnon, Big Ajax (in Big Ajax's case, the refusal to dialogue) and Odysseus to happen, the one we saw in The Odyssey. So, instead of Odysseus seeing them in Asphodel, in my headcanonverse he finds them belonging to Elysium. The other clearly non-Elysian figures that Odysseus sees, like the ones being punished, I imagine he saw when he passed through Tartarus and Asphodel on his way to Elysium. Patroclus is also mentioned in this scene in The Odyssey, although his shade doesn't speak.
But my preferred version isn't that he goes to Hades, but that he goes to Leuke/White Island. Leuke is first mentioned in the lost epic Aethiopis, but is present in several later sources, some of which explicitly state Patroclus as being there (e.g. Pausanias' Description of Greece). I only kept him in Hades because I needed the scene between Odysseus and other heroes, which includes Achilles. With Achilles in Hades, there is no way Patroclus could be in Leuke because Leuke is Achilles' island. Big Ajax and Antilochus, also mentioned in this scene from the Odyssey, are also characters attributed to Leuke in the versions where Leuke is a thing.
In Quintus' Posthomerica and Philostratus' Heroica, the creation of Leuke is explained. Basically, it was a favor from Poseidon to Thetis. In Heroica, she asks Poseidon to create Leuke, while in Posthomerica it is Poseidon who offers to create Leuke. But either way, the point is that Leuke didn't exist before, she was created only for Achilles as a way to please Thetis. This means that the trigger for the Leuke version is Thetis herself. Personally, I chose the version where she asks for it rather than Poseidon offering it, because it fits my idea.
I imagine, then, that Achilles and the others spent a considerable amount of time in Elysium. I say "considerable" because, for them to speak to Odysseus, at least 10 years must have passed, since the Odyssey takes place 10 years after the end of the Trojan War. Eventually, Thetis missed her son too much to not have the chance to see him, which is what happens while he is in Elysium. There is no way Thetis can go to Hades all the time to visit Achilles, it would be inconvenient. Imagine if all the gods visited Hades to see their children or even their lovers? It would be a mess. If she were a deity associated with Hades in some way, like Hermes who is a psychopope, it wouldn't be a problem… but well, she's certainly not a deity who provides services in Hades. Therefore, she asks Poseidon to create Leuke, which he does. Achilles and company are transferred from Elysium to Leuke, which includes Patroclus. This way, Thetis can visit him normally, since it's simply a very nice island in the middle of the Black Sea/Euxine Pontus. My explanation for Thetis taking 10 years is that she's a goddess and therefore her perception of time is different. For a mortal, 10 years of mourning is a lot, but for a goddess 10 years of mourning isn't so much.
And so, Patroclus, Antilochus and Big Ajax are at Leuke. I don't consider Lesser Ajax in my headcanonverse, although he's mentioned in the sources (e.g. Pausanias' Description of Greece and Conon's Narrations). Oddly enough, the reason has nothing to do with my opinion of the character, it's just that I could never find an explanation for Lesser Ajax being there. Big Ajax is a close cousin of Achilles, Patroclus is Achilles' best friend and/or lover, Antilochus is Antilochus' best friend, Iphigenia or Helen is Achilles' wife. But what is Lesser Ajax? Even if we consider him a fellow soldier, he would never have the same level of importance as the others. I, however, consider Teucer, although he isn't mentioned in the sources. Why? Well, I would feel bad about separating Big Ajax and Teucer, putting one in Leuke and the other in Elysium.
Antoninus Liberalis says that Achilles' wife at Leuke is Iphigenia, while Philostratus, Pausanias, and Ptolemy Hephaestion say that Achilles' wife at Leuke is Helen. I'm considering Helen instead of Iphigenia. However, I'm still unsure of how to develop her relationship with Achilles and what kind of relationship they have. I'm mentioning this because it affects Patroclus, since depending on the choice Helen and Patroclus' relationship also changes. Anyway, my Patrochilles are polyamorous, so Helen isn't a problem even if I make her have a sexual or romantic relationship with either of them. My Patrochilles are never actually married and do not refer to each other as each other's husbands, although they're romantic partners. In theory, they don't need to sleep or eat, but they still enjoy doing so. I'm also still developing the idea of Leuke, besides knowing that it has birds and snakes (birds are mentioned in the literary source. The real island actually has a lot of snakes, perhaps why it's called Snake Island nowadays, and archaeological finds show snakes as one of Achilles' cult symbols).
In Leuke, there was a cult of Achilles and I have already discussed this in another very extensive post. But the thing is that one source (Arrian's Periplus of the Euxine Sea) mentions that Patroclus was part of the cult. It wouldn't be the first time! Some sources indicate that Patroclus received monuments and was honored in a temple of Achilles in Troy (Strabos' Geography. Antilochus and Big Ajax received similar honors). When certain historical figures performed rituals at the supposed tomb of Achilles in Troy, they also performed them for Patroclus (the most famous example is the visit of Alexander the Great and Hephaestion to the supposed tombs). In Heroica, the character of Patroclus is a heroic cult figure, which is why his ghost is still able to manifest in the region of his tomb even when he's resting (although the manifestation is only in the region where he was buried because hero cults were regional). The cult of Achilles in the Black Sea (which includes the island identified as Leuke) raises doubts among scholars as to whether it was a heroic cult or a cult of a deity. Personally, I consider it to be a cult of a deity and I follow this version (as I said, I have already written a post explaining these theories and investigations). However, he would obviously not be a major deity, just a minor deity specific to the Black Sea. Achilles' war companions remain as figures of heroic, that is, mortal, cult.
So, my idea for Patroclus in the afterlife is this:
He dies in Troy when he is almost thirty years old (I imagine he was about 28).
He spends days without receiving funeral rites, which leaves his soul trapped on the surface
He receives the funeral rites and enters Hades. In Hades, he stays in Elysium. Later, other heroes appear there.
Ten years later, Odysseus meets the heroes of Troy, including Patroclus, in Elysium and talks to some of them.
Shortly after, Thetis asks Poseidon to create an island for her son, so that she can see him even after death. Poseidon, who respects and values Thetis, accepts. Leuke/White Island is created for Achilles.
Achilles, Patroclus, Antilochus and Big Ajax are transferred from Elysium to Leuke, which is located in the Black Sea/Euxine Pontus. Later, Helen and Teucer are introduced at Leuke (they died later, so they didn't appear for long). Helen is there because she is being offered in marriage to Achilles, but the nature of their relationship is more ambiguous and I'm still unsure.
At some point, Achilles is deified as a Black Sea cult deity. In this capacity, he is responsible for protecting sailors and things related to the sea, a domain he shares with his mother (literary and archaeological evidence actually links Achilles' cult to this function. This is not my invention, it's not just a headcanon).
Patroclus also receives cult honors, but in his case it is heroic cult (i.e. not as a god, but as a mortal). Furthermore, in the position of a cult figure, his soul is still able to manifest in the tomb at Troy, but only there (heroic cults were regional. Heroes were tied to their cult site). Antilochus, Achilles and Big Ajax also appear in Troy, as their tomb is there (in the case of Antilochus and Achilles, literally in the same place as Patroclus, as the three are in the same urn).
