I always noticed there was something between him and the Joker, almost In every version they do. it can be the cartoons we watched, movies or comics. I always seen hints that there is something between them. If you think about it. The comics have stated multible times that Jokercares for Batman, he even atmitted it to Catwoman in death of the family. plus in the Comic based of the Gods among us game, Superman states that Batman is in love with Joker because he is mourning his death while other superheros wouldn't. Batman also mourned for the Joker's death on Arkham knight, and Arkham City, and on inferno novel Batman admitted he wanted to see if the Joker was truly dead, and he ask himself "Why would he want a man like the Joker alive." in Batman damned the comic Batman openly admits he wish the Joker was still alive, and goes on to say " is this the end of our story." also in the In the Elsworlds comic, Joker openly admits to being in love with the female version of Batman and even made himself more attractive to get her. Seriously the rose secene in the elevator shaft? Oh my sweet in my view. after this the female version says don't kill him. I need him alive. Even in movies, Batman vs Dracula, even in his blood crazed state, Joker still tells Batman he compleates him. In mad love the cartoon, he scolds Harley for trying to kill Batman and lets him go. Batman ego the comic it states " does Batman need the Joker." Seriously its more, but I'm done for now.

That son of Superman elsworld story looks soooo interesting omgg. Are you gonna read it? It’s interesting and I would love to see your opinions about it. I also hope we get to see something like that in recent comics

This ask prompted me to sorta speed read it XDXD. My opinions are...honestly I'm fascinated and rofl at this Jon he's very much everything I want more of from current Jon. Son of Superman(SOS for short) Jon is very angry, very much a teenager, he wants answers and explanations and he wants to do good. He's like, a lot removed from the superhero aspect of it and his initial motives are less about the saving people and more about figuring out what he is. But I did enjoy seeing him just, be a teenager. Going to school, having crushes, being emo as heck lmao.

A lot of this made it into SOKE to the point I thought that maybe Tom Taylor read this before writing SOKE, but it got dulled down to something more...soft? Less confrontational? I think maybe SOS Jon is a lot more loud, allowed to be wrong, make mistakes and just be a bit more unpleasant in his personality because it's an elseworld story.

But SOKE was an introduction to a brand new superman and I think in an effort to appeal to the idea of Superman being a hopeful and ultimately optimistic figure who overcomes his hurdles with grace, a lot of the unpleasant and off-putting parts of his personality got whittled down.

They both disagree with Superman and Batman, they're both impulsive, they're both angry and they want to make social change. But with current Jon it's portrayed with more padding and more happy and proper resolutions(especially the Jon and Clark conflict. In SOKE it is very easily done while in SOS it seems like they're in a good place but still need to communicate a lot).

I hope that starting from AOSJK to the future, we get to see him have more of that anger, that 'I don't give a shit' attitude that makes people pause and consider. I'm kind of on a kick where I'm loving characters who are, objectively, unpleasant as people but it's entertaining to watch. I'm hoping for it, but idk if it's going to happen.

But, fingers crossed.

(Side note: I love that Jon being a simp for his S/O and being highly irritated when stuff interferes with that is like copy-pasted 20 years later lmaooo)

Unfortunately, most end up being pretty poor offerings. But there’s a decent number that end up somewhere in the middle, and _Gotham by Gaslight_ is on the higher end of that spectrum in between. The voice acting offers nothing special. Stylistically, the animation leaves a lot to be desired (don’t let that gorgeous poster fool you). But it’s the story that’s truly important, and here _Gotham by Gaslight_ finds enough success in its Elseworld telling to come off with a win. _Final rating:★★★ – I liked it. Would personally recommend you give it a go._ GenerationofSwine: Greenwood is Batman, and that is sort of jarring because, at least for me it’s like JFK being Batman. But also to be fair, I didn’t catch it was him until almost the end. Yeah… this works but it doesn’t seem to know if it wants to be Victorian London or H. H. Holmes Chicago. It really can’t make up it’s mind, and since Gotham is fictional it still works. It’s a fun Elsworlds story made to break continuity and let the writers play around a bit, and, Batman not only fits the era, but they did a very good job of bringing Bruce Wayne into the era as well, and that is what some writers tend to forget.

Honestly, it was kind of boring, as most of Arrow usually is for me. But Kara’s flirting is totally on point and I actually really liked Kate. It’s a shame we only got a glimpse of her though. Another big casting hullabaloo that will likely only amount to a single appearance.

However, if there’s a Bruce Wayne on Earth-38, and if he also has a cousin named Kate Kane, then you know that they were acquainted with the Luthors. 

Therefore: Kate and Lena totally fucked. 

It then follows that Kara’s flirting will turn to stone-cold jealousy the moment Kate turns on the charm for one Lena Kieran Luthor.

oh I also skimmed through the new Knights of Steel issue and immediately zoomed in on the fact that Barry is also in the El Family dungeons (you see him running back and forth in his cell while Bruce and Harley are chatting) which means we have Barry, Dinah and Oliver down there so I am hoping and praying we get the full Dumbass Squad when they finally reveal Hal is the Green Man (if he’s not I’m going to cry. Ultimate betrayal)

Heyho! Since the weekend I have decided, to step a little back from my Darksiders-Love for a little side project of mine (I have my reasons, believe me) and here I present the final result of a long (and sad) weekend: my cover for my fanfic - a crossover from two very well known characters X3 

I have to admit, I took as hard reference a sketch form my personal lord and savior, the late Michael Turner and drew Superman for the first time. An Else-World-Superman -okay, but without Michael Turner I couldn´t have done it! Supes reminds me with his white stripes of Spawns costume - great... now I want that crossover to happen.... Aaahhh Spawn... good comic..... great times.
