i love elinini because it makes all of fe6 so fucking funny. i dont remember if i've submitted this before bcuz i talk abt it all the time, but.

man. dragon roy is just. a comedy. where did the dragons go? i dunno dude have you checked a mirror recently? i hope humans and dragons can live in peace :) oh boyy they did so much more than that

the part of me that likes dumb jokes and the part of me that likes taking stupid concepts seriously are constantly at war because part-dragon roy would also just be a poignant statement on the topic of coexistence in the game, because his existence itself would prove his point.

+ the whole legacy theme with him inhereting the sword of a legendary dragonslayer. just putting that into the hands of a dragon (well, part dragon) just says so much for the start of a new era.

but also. it's really fucking funny. marcus and merlinus knew this whole time but simply refused to say anything

Whilst laying his head upon Ninian’s lap in light slumber, Eliwood more closely resembles the wide-eyed prince he’d been before Elbert's passing. The creases in his brow and the tightness of his jaw have disappeared; instead, his face bears a soft smile.

Ninian gazes down at him as she tenderly strokes his hair. He's never been the same since that fateful day. Although he presents a brave face in the company of others, the loss of one's father is a terrible pain that never goes away.

How can he love her, when it was she who caused that pain? How can he be close to her, when he doesn't know her true nature? He has done so much for her, more than she ever deserves. Would she and Nils even be here, if it weren't for him?

How can he allow himself to be so vulnerable in her presence?

She takes his hand into her own, lifts it upward, and plants a gentle kiss on the back of his palm. “You have done much to protect me, Lord Eliwood,” she murmurs, careful not to rouse him. “I should like to protect you as well, even if my life is forfeit.”

Obviously FEH isn’t canonizing any pairings, but I feel confident saying that it pretty consistently backs up Eliwood and Ninian.

So. What I’m saying is. Dragon Roy alt.

Have a banner event where the theme is ‘characters who are dragons or half-dragons but who we never see transform.’ And give it a Forging Bonds event that’s all about Roy going through dragon puberty. Sure the lore would be screwy, but since when has the crossover gacha game cared about that?
