#elias though.... man... if alfonse was the 'nice' one of the two older brothers...

//so... we know alfonse is the eldest goldstein brother, but is shunned immensely by his family to the point where he's practically been disowned... does this mean that klaus is a huge hard ass because he's forced to take the responsibility of the eldest brother? i'm also curious to know why klaus was just so damn ready to shut the guy out of his life, especially since elias clearly hasn't (or, tried his best not to from what we can see. i doubt alfonse made an effort to contact him if he wanted to sever his ties to the family that badly anyways).

we already know that elias pretty much got the short end of the stick when it came to how he was treated in the family. while elias often references klaus, he does mention once or twice that it came from both brothers. however, he also only mentions klaus teaching him magic. why not alfonse as well? was he simply too busy? or did he leave when elias was already young? two other questions big questions pop out at me:

how old is alfonse? we know that klaus is around 26-27 in the night class timeline (and that liz is 20, just so y'all don't forget that), so alfonse is 27-28 at the very least. however, that's not really a confirmation of much.

how old was alfonse when he left? at the very latest, we can assume 25 years old (since he's been travelling with the caravan for about two years). but if it was any time before that... i can't even begin to imagine the kind of stress that might put on all three of them. iirc, alfonse was quite surprised to learn that elias was going to gedonelune academy, so it's possible that he left before elias enrolled, that he didn't know because he was already distant, or elias was meant to go to another school and wound up going to gedonelune academy anyways (keep in mind that elias doesn't have as strong innate magical abilities as klaus and possibly alfonse). but another thing is that the existence of elaine also implies that it was a little over two years ago that alfonse left. during klaus' original route, klaus already had a picture of elaine, so it's obvious that the marriage had been planned for some time (liz finds it on what, day four/five of her being there iirc?). i don't like to think that alfonse was told about the marriage day one and said "fuck you dad im out" the same day (because i am still pretty damn sure it was arranged), but still... if he left when elias was still pretty young, that might be why elias doesn't seem to hate alfonse as much.

then again, i won't be able to play alfonse's route for a while now (i'm still stuck on hiro's because of a goddamn 10k lune checkpoint), so i can only hope that these kinds of questions get answered. also, i want more goldstein family drama. because i can't say i entirely trust walter goldstein to be a Good Dad(tm) when he was apparently okay with his youngest being stranded on a mountain for two days straight, as well as throwing a party for a magical tool's invention anniversary rather than his middle son's birthday.

The Ruined King, Chapter 5

Pairing: Felix x Liz

Summary: Hawkeye is once again moving through Gedonelune, and it looks like their aim is on the heart of the Dragonkin Ruins. It looks like we’ll need the help of the three Reciters to solve this mystery!

The next morning, I decided to bring Shu to the village again.

"Ah, Liz, what brings you here? We weren't supposed to meeting for a few hours."

"I thought I'd pay a visit, see how everyone was settling in.”

"Of course, come in, come in. I was just making breakfast. I'll set an extra plate at the table."

When I walked in, Lacan, Hugo, and Mischa were already sitting at the kitchen table. Lacan lit up as he saw me. "Hi Liz! Hi Shu! It's so good to see you again; here, come and have a seat."

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything," I said as I settled down at the table.

"Hugo was just telling me about how the two of you got the land for this village. I can't believe you were able to beat Felix in a board game!"

"Oh yeah, that was quite an interesting story," I said with a smile.

"You could help fill in the details," Hugo said with a smirk.

Lacan laughed as we told the story, of how we'd faced the strange 'hooded man', and how it had been a race against the clock. Hugo even seemed to relax as we told the story.

'I'm so glad to see they're getting along!'

It was strange. Back then, Felix had been a mysterious stranger to me; it was hard to picture him like that now.

"Where's Felix?"

"He's in the kitchen," Mischa said, smirking. "He's been observing how Willem cooks."

"I didn't know he had an interest in cooking." What would it be like to taste Felix's cooking? If he made something just for me..

'Woah,' I thought, shaking my head, 'where did that thought come from?'

"Strangely, he's been taking more of an interest in it lately," Lacan said, leaning on his hand.

"Here!" Willem swept into the dining room, setting down extra plates; Felix trailed behind him. "I made lots of extra, so eat up as much as you want. Oh, I also prepared some treats for Shu." He set down a little plate of treats; Shu leaped up and started to munch on the treats.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "Hmm? Who could that be?"

"Oh, I'll get it." Lacan went to answer the door. "Oh, hello, Lucious! What brings you by?"

"I.. wanted to pay a visit before we went out," he said. "Can I come in?" Lacan beckoned him in.

"Good thing you made extra," Hugo said to Willem.

And a few minutes later, there was another knock on the door. This time, it was Zeus and Hiro.

I couldn't stop myself from laughing. "What do you want to bet that Caesar and Alfonse will be along any minute?"

"I think I heard them talking about it earlier," Lucious said.

"It looks like we all had the same idea.." Hiro shook his head.

"If they show up, we're going to be running out of space pretty soon," Lacan said.

Felix sighed. "Not to mention food.”

Willem started to get to his feet. "In that case, should I make extras?"

"You sit down," Felix said gently, pushing him back into his chair. "Don't overwork yourself. I'll take care of it."

"You?"

"I can help you!" I jumped up.

"Why don't we have lunch in the garden there?" Lacan suggested. "We can wait for the others there. Oh, and we can show you what the three of us have been planting!”

"That sounds good to me." Laughing, they went into the garden.

As we went into the kitchen, I realized that Willem's kitchen was smaller than I thought- which put me very close to Felix. And I realized something.. "Felix, don't you think it's going to be a little hard to move around the kitchen in your cloak?"

"Hmm? Oh, right, hang on." He slipped off his cloak, setting it to the side. "Better?" I found myself staring, and he tilted his head. "Is there something on my face?"

"No, no! You just look.. different without your cloak. You look nice," I said. "You look friendlier."

"Friendlier?"

"Well, you're so.. mysterious with that hood on," I blurted out. What was I saying? "But now you seem relatable. And.." I bit my tongue. I couldn't exactly say how handsome he looked, could I? "W-well, we should get to cooking," I said, turning my attention to the kitchen. "Felix, do you know anything about baking?"

"I've been watching how Willem does it," he answered smoothly, moving for the stove. "How hard can it be?"

A memory flashed through my mind of trying to teach Florin how to cook. 'Hopefully he's not that bad,' I thought with a shudder.

"Let's try pancakes! Those should be easy enough! Can you get the ingredients for me?"

I got out the tools; Felix deftly found and handed me each ingredient. "Oh, I think that Willem has some pancake molds in here," I said. I quickly found them, setting them on the counter. "What would you think of Carbuncle shaped pancakes? That sounds cute to me."

"You like Carbuncles?" he asked as we started to work.

"I do! My specialty at the academy is actually studying magical creatures," I said as I started to put the ingredients together.

"Really? I had no idea."

"They told me you were quite good with magical creatures too," he said.

He nodded; his eyes lit up as he talked. "The Castle in the Sky used to be home to magical creatures of all kinds," he said wistfully. "I'd spend my days learning about the various magical creatures so that I could take better care of them. Do you like Carbuncles?”

“I do.” Man, that brought back memories. “I used to hear them sing outside the Tower of Sorrow-”

“Ah!” A puff of flour filled the air, filling the small kitchen- covering Felix's robes. “..This is trickier than I thought.”

Once we had cleaned up, I noticed him gazing at me. “You've got some flour on your face,” he said, absently wiping my face.

As he turned away, I felt my heart racing. 'No fair..'

After that, despite my worries, things went much smoother. He didn't complain as we worked, stirring the bowl, and flipped the pancakes with ease.

"Can you taste this?" he asked, offering a fork.

"This is delicious!" I guess he wasn't a bad cook after all.

Just then, I heard voices bellowing from the garden. "Zeus, you already had your fill! Save some for the rest of us!"

"It looks like your friends are having a lot of fun out there," he said, idly flipping the pan.

"Look, Alfonse and Caesar showed up after all," I said; they were chasing Shu around the garden.

"I don't understand why they all showed up here," he said, tilting his head. "We weren't supposed to meet until later."

"I think they just wanted to spend time with you guys," I said. "They've been getting to know you."

"Even though I was once your enemy?" he asked, setting down the pan. "How can you trust me then?"

"They're funny like that." I couldn't help but smile. "When someone helps them, or shows their kindness, they don't forget that."

He gazed out at the garden, his expression sad and wistful all at once.

"I see. I'd.. almost forgotten what that was like." He looked down at the pan. "..I think the pancakes are ready; should we go and give them to your friends?"

"Hmm?"

I have to admit, I wanted to spend a little more time with Felix..

"Here, pancakes for everyone." We passed out the plates to everyone.

"Good, Zeus was hogging all of them," Lucious said, taking the plates.

"Luckily for you," Felix said smoothly, "we made enough for everyone, so you can have your fill."

"These are delicious!"

"Looks like your first time cooking didn't turn out so bad after all," I said to Felix.

"First time?" Willem tilted his head. "Felix has been helping me for.." Whatever Willem was gonna say, Felix cut him off with a look, so Willem laughed. Lacan hid a snort behind his hand. "I think you did very well, Felix."

"Thank you." He took a seat in the garden, with his own plate of pancakes. Everyone settled down around the garden. We enjoyed each other's company, talking and laughing in the garden together.

'It may be selfish of me, but I wish things could stay like this forever..'

Even though I'd seen it before, I still found myself marveling as we approached Albert's mansion. "Wow, it's so beautiful."

"Does this impress you?" Felix asked.

"How could it not? It's probably as big as the whole village!"

Oh yeah; he had grown up in a castle. 'Sometimes I forget I'm dealing with kings..'

"I suppose it's not bad, if it impresses you."

Elias, Klaus, and Yukiya were already sitting with Albert when we made it into the manor. But with them was a man that I didn't recognize.

He was tall, with dark hair and a charming smile. "That's exactly what I told him! But did he listen?"

"Hmm? Who's these?" he asked, standing up.

"These are friends of mine," Albert said.

"Well, it's always nice to meet new friends," he said, smiling at me. "Especially such a charming young lady as yourself." He took my hand, giving it a kiss. "Daniel Oxford, at your service."

"Oxford? You're.."

"I take it you met my older brother?" He smiled. "Don't worry, I'm not as pompous as he is.

I would have let that poor boy go, but you know how stubborn he is.."

"If you'll excuse us," Felix said, "we have something to discuss with Albert."

"Of course. Albert, I trust we can work out the rest of the details later?"

"See you later." With that, the man took his leave, and Albert smiled. "It's nice to see you two again. It appears you've been settling in to your new lives."

Lacan tilted his head. "Have we met before?"

"I suppose that day would have all been a blur," Albert said. "I'm Albert Auburne; it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Albert," Klaus said coolly, "don't you think that we should focus on the investigation?"

"Right, right. Please, have a seat." And he was in business mode once more. "You're looking for the three gems?"

"Three were entrusted to the Dragonkin," Yukiya said, "and three to the noble families of Gedonelune."

"We have already obtained one." Elias placed the diamond on the table.

"You told me before that your sword had been passed down from the First King," I said. "That gem on your sword; it might have been one of them."

"To think that my sword would be something so powerful. Not that I want the Dragon of Time to be awakened." His expression became serious. "Is there a way to find out?"

"We could try scanning it," Lacan said. "We'd be able to recognize the essence of it." Felix nodded.

Albert pulled the sword from its sheath, setting it on the table. Felix pulled down his hood; his horns glowing black. After a moment, Felix stopped, pulling his hood back on. "I recognize its energy. There is no doubt that this is the gem of fire."

"To think that my family would have such a thing. What would you like to do? Will you take the gem away from me?"

"We will need to keep a close eye on it," I said.

"People may try to come and take it away from you," Lacan said. "Hawkeye was willing to destroy one of our temples in order to get their hands on the Gem of Light."

"I'm so sorry to hear that," Albert said.

"Thank you, that means a lot," Lacan said. Even Felix's eyes softened.

"Truth be told, I'm not sure I trust the Ministry to keep the gems," Klaus mused. "Who knows what they would do with that kind of power? They might try to use it for their own ends."

"Would it be safe with you then?" Albert asked. "I could trust Liz with it."

"I.." Hawkeye might come after me again if I had it. But.. they would be after me either way. "I'll take care of it."

"Well, I may be sorry to see it go, but I'm trusting you with it." He took back the sword, prying the stone from the sword. And then he held out the stone; it seemed to shine even brighter when released. "Here you go."

"Thank you. I won't betray your trust."

Albert: This feels bittersweet. On one hand, I lost the gem, but I know that it's in good hands with her.

Klaus: You made the right decision. I know that can't have been easy for you.

Albert: I'm surprised to hear that from you.

Klaus: I can be nice sometimes.

Albert: So, I'm curious, if the house of Auburne had one of the gems, does the house of Goldstein have one too?

Klaus: ..

Albert: Ha, I knew it! Finally, something that we have that you don't!

Klaus: I would choose your words very carefully, Albert.

Albert: Uh-oh, looks like it's time for me to scram. Next time, Crystal Cavern.

A Brother’s Pride

Pairing: Klaus/Lizzy

Summary: Graduation is approaching for Elias and Lizzy as the Goldsteins hold a family dinner to celebrate the occasion. Elias and his brother Klaus share a moment where Klaus gets to talk to him alone.

Graduation time was soon approaching for the youngest brother of the two Goldstein brothers as the family was holding a family graduation dinner party for Elias and Lizzy since she would be graduating with him. Everyone was dressed nicely for the evening while sitting around the table chit chatting among themselves. “How are you feeling Elias, are you nervous for graduation,” Alfonse asked with a smile before taking another bite of his food. Elias had placed his glass down onto the table before stating, “I’m not that nervous as it feels more bittersweet than anything. It only feels like I was just starting, but to really look back on everything I have learned so much.” Klaus was listening as he ate in silence with the lightest smile on his face remembering how it was for when he graduated as even during his school days he’s gotten to see how much Elias grew. 

“That’s what you say now Lias, but when the day comes and we’re up on the stage giving our speeches you might feel a lot different compared to how you feel at this moment,” Lizzy said teasing a little while using the nickname she’s given him in which Elias could only roll his eyes a little but nonetheless smiled some. The family continued to eat their dinner happily making simple talk. Time had passed when dessert was served to them in which before anyone could start to eat, Walter stood from his chair with glass in hand giving it a few light taps with a fork causing a few ting sounds to resonate off the glass. “I’d like to say a few words,” he said as everyone at the table looked over to him giving their full attention.

Raising his glass a little higher up Walter smiled as he looked over to Elias before saying, “It only seemed like yesterday you were just a little boy running around the manor with your laughter filling the halls; however, here you are getting ready to graduate and go out into the world to do many great things. I know I was busy a lot of the time, but in the times I’ve gotten to watch you grow over time, you truly have applied yourself and stayed dedicated to your studies. You’re a brilliant young man and I couldn’t be prouder of the person you’ve grown to be and will continue to strive to become as I know you will accomplish many wonderful things.” It seemed that everyone was smiling at his words as out of them all Elias had the biggest one as he nodded his head enthusiastically feeling overjoyed by his father’s praise. Now finished with his speech, Walter sat back down as the family enjoyed the dessert that was prepared for them for the special occasion.

After the meal was over, Elias was in one of the study rooms practicing and tweaking his speech that he’d be giving at graduation. While focused on the task pacing the room slowly while reading the speech so far out loud he failed to notice Klaus walking into the room in which he stood a few feet away with a small grin with his arms crossed over his chest while listening to his brother hard at work as per usual. “That sounds really good so far, though I will suggest that you speak in a more relaxed and slow manner,” Klaus said thus startling Elias to spin around since he didn’t know someone else was in the room with him. “O-Oh hello Klaus, sorry I didn’t hear you come in,” Elias said first as his cheeks got slightly flustered from embarrassment. 

“It’s alright, I understand that you want to make the perfect speech,” Klaus said unfolding his arms and walking over to Elias. “Your speech is great and moving as it’s very professional, but are those the words of how you honestly feel from your heart,” Klaus asks as it seemed to surprise Elias but seemed to be taking in what Klaus was trying to say. “Was that how it was for you when you gave your speech Klaus,” Elias asked curiously as it was hard sometimes to know how his older brother was feeling or thinking half the time. Letting out a small chuckle Klaus nodded before giving Elias’ hair a slight ruffle as he said, “Yeah it definitely took me sometime to come up with a speech I was proud to give at graduation, though at first I did the same thing you’re doing as there’s nothing wrong with that… But I know that whatever speech you do give will be amazing, even maybe better than mine.” As surprised to hear such words from his brother regardless it made him all the more happier and that much closer to him in which Elias gave a smile and nodded in response. 

“Yes I see, I thank you very much; I really appreciate your wisdom,” Elias said in a grateful manner. “You’re my brother as you really have grown so much and I wanted to tell you how proud I am of you,” Klaus said genuinely before placing a hand on the younger blonde’s shoulder which of course shocked Elias but of course brought a brighter smile to his face. “It makes me so happy to see you two having a heart to heart moment like this,” a familiar voice said as the two looked over to find that it was Alfonse who was standing there with a giant grin on his face. Klaus gave the oldest a narrowed glare only for Alfonse to laugh as it didn’t seem to phase him. “Alfonse did you need something,” Elias asked as he looked between the two as the air didn’t feel as tense as it has in the past. “Nah not really. I couldn’t help but overhear the conversation and thought I’d pop by and tell you how much I’m proud of you as well; though we all know that between the two of us I’m still the best big brother,” Alfonse said with a playful grin causing Klaus to groan as of course he had to go and ruin the moment. 

“I hope you guys are playing nice,” a voice said as it was none other than Lizzy who joined the group. “Ah but of course,” Alfonse said before the other two could say otherwise with a smile on his face. Rolling his eyes, Klaus could only mutter under his breath “He wouldn’t know what playing nice was even if it hit him in the face.” Letting out a small laugh of her own she said, “Well I was just stopping by since your mother is looking for you two Alfonse and Elias.” Looking at each other slightly confused but nodded and excusing themselves as they surely walked out together to see what their mother wanted. 

Hearing the double doors closing in the short distance Klaus walked over to her seeing now that it was just the two of them. “So what did mother want from them,” he asked curiously with a raised eyebrow only to start seeing a smirk on her face. “Oh nothing at all, I just thought I’d save my boyfriend from getting teased by Alfonse since you were having such a sweet moment with Elias,” she said looking up at him with her famous smirk as she unfolded her arms. Letting out a chuckle, Klaus smiled some before reaching an arm out and around her waist to pull her closer to him placing a small kiss on her forehead. “Sneaky thing you are, so you were listening in as well. Though I suppose I should thank you dear,” he said now holding her in both arms as this moment was peaceful as he could only hope she was going to start teasing him now. “But of course and besides, I’m the only one who can tease the old Emperor,” Lizzy said in a proud manner as there it was as he playfully rolled his eyes. “Of course as I could say the same for you. However with that all aside; I’m also very proud of you for all you’ve accomplished and how much you’ve grown,” Klaus said giving her a small kiss on the lips. Happily returning the kiss she simply whispered, “I have you to thank.”

Heyo everyone~ I thought I’d make a quick post about a few things I liked/loved about all the routes for the wizardess heart bois (sequels included)~ (There will also be some points made of what I didn’t like for certain characters so just a small heads up *thumbs up* though I’m mainly focusing on the positives) Also there maybe spoilers so if you haven’t seen/read a character’s route or if you’re brand new to the game view at your own risk <3

Just overall a nicely developed character that’s fun but also can be serious when absolutely necessary

Overall favorite scene was getting to see him SUMMON a bunch of magical creatures

Liz getting to meet original Randy at the end

I’m a sucker for endings that have the children in it

Azusa Kuze:

He’s so freaking pretty

Regardless of all the things he’s done I still love him very much

He had an interesting development as a character

Also happy ending cg had to be my all time favorite when he first came out

Joel Crawford:

Actually dropped his route twice for other characters

Actually didn’t enjoy his route all too much, felt more like an older brother

One of my favorite scenes is when everyone in the group is trying to get Hiro to laugh and he does when piggy Caesar lands on Zeus’ face

Alfonse Goldstein:

My second favorite Goldstein because he’s just one big sweetheart

Him and Liz going to the hot dog stand for a date

His happy ending cg being one of my top favorites

Caesar Raphael:

Funniest moments when Caesar turns into his piggy form after accidentally kissing someone

Caesar being protective and protects Liz no matter the coast

Lucious Duller:

He’s an adorable bean

The scene where the “two” are dancing together is really cute as he’s finally able to get closure

I love how beautiful and scenic his happy ending cg is with the use of colors

He’s such a good boi, not one of my favorites but still enjoyed his route

The part where Hugo had to kiss Liz was one of the funniest moments simply because of how flustered she got but also from Joel’s reaction in the background of the cg

He is such a good boy as he is a ray of sunshine along with his familiar

Passionate fox man who wants to be the best merchant he can be

Wholesome content as his route was one of the best ones written

Chap 7 cg is another one of my favorites because of how cute Liz looks while holding Rem in his plush form

(Third Person Point of View)

"He's actually got a big heart; you just don't realize until you really know him." The eldest Goldstein chuckles.

"I don't know. For now, he just seems really loud." The youngest shakes his head.

The two had been walking around aimlessly, just enjoying each other's company. The topic had somehow switched to a discussion of a certain night class prefect. Anything they could talk about was good enough for them, though.

"Aye, my favourite bros!" A familiar voice beams, unnecessarily extending the first and last words. The intruder inserts himself between the two brothers, putting an arm on each one's shoulder.

"We're..you're only bros." Elias stares at the taller blond in the middle. Why Klaus was acting this way, Elias wasn't sure, but he didn't feel the need to point it out. Yet.

Klaus rolls his eyes, "Well, metaphorically, I have a lot of bros."

"Since when do you even use the word bros?" Alfonse questions with a raised brow.

Klaus groans, "Why are all Goldsteins so uptight?"

The eldest and youngest share a confused look. "Excuse me?" Elias raises an eyebrow.

"You're forgiven!" The older man cheers. "Now let's go have a guys' night out; we don't have much time to waste here!" Klaus ignores the but it's daytime?s and why do we not have time?s his brothers were throwing at him and proceeds to drag them into town with no explanation whatsoever.

"Klaus, where are we going?" Alfonse prays for a single, meaningful answer.

Klaus pauses to look around the stores, "I'm sure it was somewhere around here.." he mumbles to himself, paying no mind to his older brother.

"What is?" Elias didn't enjoy being dragged around, unaware of where they're headed to; he was slowly losing his patience.

"Chill; it's a nice place, I've heard." Klaus dismisses the question again and proceeds forward.

"A strip club?!" Elias shrieks in horror at their destination.

"Dude, you're gonna get us kicked out before we even get inside." Klaus brings his index finger to his lips, motioning for Elias to keep quiet.

"Klaus, what are you thinking?! Are you feeling okay?" Alfonse eyes his younger brother.

Klaus sighs. "Okay, yes, it's weird to go to a strip club in broad daylight, but this place offers a 24-hour service! And you don't even have to worry about Elias being a little younger than the age required to enter; if we're smooth enough, he'll be fine!"

"Out of all these explanations, nothing was even related to our actual issue!" Elias flings his arms upwards in a mixture of disbelief and frustration.

"You're a Goldstein; that's how you're planning to spend your evening?!" The eldest begins scolding Klaus.

Klaus raises his hands in defence. "I've never been here before; I just thought we could try it out together. Come on." It didn't seem like he was taking his brothers seriously for their outbursts, which in turn pissed them off even more.

"I'm not stepping foot into this place!" Elias crosses his arms, looking away in disgust.

"Is it because you're scared your boyfriend will figure it out?" Klaus wiggles his eyebrow at his younger brother.

Elias's cheeks heat up at the unexpected question. "What boyfriend?! You know I don't have a boyfriend!"

"Oh, come on!" Klaus whines, in a not-so-Klaus-like-manner. "I know you're in love with Luca; it's so obvious in the way you stare at him! You don't need to hide anything from me!" He places his arms around Elias and hugs him tightly. (Actually, scratch that. He suffocates him.)

"You know you can tell me anything!" He squeezes Elias even more, if that was even possible. "I'm your owder bwother that woves you!" Klaus uses what could best be described as the voice you use when talking to a baby; he even begins to make kissy faces at Elias, in an attempt to kiss his cheek.

By now, Elias didn't know if he was more embarrassed or scared. He felt awfully mortified, but he also knew that this was not the usual Klaus. At all. Maybe his brother had been possessed, replaced by a clone, or under a spell, but there was no way this was the normal Klaus he knew. And one glance at an (almost) equally horrified Alfonse assured Elias he wasn't crazy for thinking that.

Elias pushes his older brother away. "I'm not in love with Luca, and I certainly don't need you to baby me!" Out of habit, the blond spoke the name with disgust, like he'd just seen the troublemaker cause a mess in the classroom.

"Well, why else would you not agree to join me and Alfonse?" Klaus raises an eyebrow.

"I actually never said I was-"

"Alfonse! You can't just interrupt Elias because he's the youngest!"

"He wasn't even-"

"You're doing it again, Alfonse!" Overshadowed by confusion, the eldest Goldstein stopped protesting, as Klaus interrogates their younger brother. "So? Elias? We're still waiting for an answer, you know."

"It has nothing to do with Luca!"

"Prove it, then." Eyes glinting with mischief, Klaus smirks at his younger sibling.

"What do you mean?" Elias wasn't a coward. However, when your older brother who's normally so stern and composed just took you to a strip club and started babying you, yeah, you might get a bit nervous about having to do what he suggests next.

"I just want you to enter the place on your own, spend 10 minutes inside, then come out, and we'll do whatever you want for the rest of the day." Klaus shrugs, "Bonus points if you get one of the dancers' number."

"Klaus, what in the world-" Was it interrupt Alfonse day? Cuz he sure felt like it was.

"It's okay, Al. I'll do it; at least then we'll be able to put an end to this strange trip." Elias states with determination.

"Ah, yeah, that look in your eyes! Love it!" Klaus rewards him with an applause, as if he'd just watched a scene out of a play.

Elias gives him a look but stays silent. He'd given up on understanding what was up with his brother; he just wanted to go back to his dorm and rest.

An excited Klaus and a worried Alfonse stood out of sight while Elias approaches the buff man guarding the entrance.

It couldn't have been longer than 2 minutes when they saw Elias come back to them sheepishly.

"Hey, the deal was 10 minutes." Klaus states.

"I didn't even get in! When I lied about my age, he asked where I worked. I panicked and blurted out the name of the academy.." Elias drifts off.

"So?" Klaus raises an eyebrow.

"Turns out he's friends with Vincent, and he knows the teaching staff there.." Elias hides his face in embarrassment.

"You got him in trouble for lying, and it's your fault!" Alfonse points an accusing finger at Klaus, who was trying not to burst into laughter.

"Well, technically, you didn't get in trouble for lying. You got in trouble for lying badly." Shrugging, Klaus blames Elias for the incident, and in turn, earning more looks of disbelief from his siblings.

"Okay, I'm done. I'm just gonna go back to the dorms." Elias shakes his head, unable to keep up with Klaus's madness. That was enough for today; the humiliation and irritation were eating him alive.

However, before any of them could say anything, an angry Luca ran up to them, which was a rare, terrifying view. Elias was sure nobody had seen Luca so angry. Or seen Luca angry at all for that matter. Yet there he was, pissed.

"I've been searching all over for you!" He yells at Klaus.

Elias waited for Klaus to scare the crap out of Luca and everyone within a 5 mile radius of this scene, but instead, Klaus just laughed. Ironically, that scared Elias more than anything Klaus could've done.

"Come on, Emperor; it wasn't so bad!" Klaus teases.

Wait, why was Klaus calling Luca that?

Alfonse's head was spinning in circles; he wasn't sure what was happening or when it happened, but he assumed magic was involved.

"The only thing that wouldn't make this so bad is if murder was legal!" Luca grabs Klaus's collar.

They seemed to both zone out for a few seconds before Klaus pushes Luca's hand away in anger. Klaus's previously calm expression was replaced with a furious one while Luca was back to his playful, carefree self.

"Um..what is happening?" Elias finally asked. He certainly wasn't in the mood for solving riddles today, especially not after everything that happened.

"This is what happened." Klaus reaches into Luca's pocket, pulling out a small, green orb.

Elias thought it looked strangely familiar. Then, it hit him. Alfonse took the words right out of his mouth, though.

"You switched bodies." He whispered.

Elias remembered learning about that green orb, yet it hadn't occurred to him that this could be the case here. He felt slightly dumb for it, but he threw the blame on Luca, considering it was his fault to begin with.

"You're going to burn in a very special level of hell. A level they reserve for child molesters, animal abusers, and people who talk at the theatre." Elias glares at the green-haired male.

"Elias snapped." Klaus chuckles, as if the fact that Elias was trying to be intimidating was enough to amuse him and make him forget about Luca's actions. As if.

"Well, it was fun hanging out with you guys! Now, I gotta go!" Luca attempts to escape, but Klaus knew better.

"Not so fast." The prefect grabs Luca by the back of his collar. "You're not going anywhere. You're coming with me." Klaus drags Luca along with him as he walks towards the academy, leaving both Elias and Alfonse fairly overwhelmed.

"That was...weird." Alfonse heaves a sigh.

"I mean, at least Klaus hadn't decided to suddenly change and become this weird person, I guess?"

"True." Alfonse agrees, letting out a little laugh.

It's worth mentioning that only later that day that Elias realized Luca was the one to hug him and baby him, not Klaus, and he wasn't sure which was worse. It made him wish there was some other type of orb that could make them all forget that specific moment ever happened.

Alas, for now, all he could do is bury his red face into his pillow, as Yukiya wonders what's wrong with him.
