This post just reminds me of how much I dislike electronic locks that require electronic keys/keys with sensors, because they will inevitably break or run out of charge completely. Had these at college, and a lot of the keys would eventually run out of charge, leaving students locked out of their apartments and dorms until campus safety or someone from housing could fix their key and let them in. 

You still had to put the key into the lock and turn it too, so it wasn’t like opening doors became easier or simpler in any capacity.

'new' car is also annoying bc only the driver door even has a keyhole. if you want to unlock it from ANY OTHER DOOR you gotta use the stupid little battery keychain doodad. that battery will die! just put a manual lock in the doors. so I can use a key. on the doors. what's your PROBLEM.
