Goddess/Eldritch Lizzie

I wanted to show a powerful Lizzie being the head of the bamboozlers. Sort of if you put her character from esmp s1 into wild life. This was inspired by a poll I did on the life series community tumblr, so thx to everyone who voted there!

I wanted to make her really creepy, so I removed her mouth and added a mask-like thing to her face, sort of hiding her true nature if you will. Definitely one of my favorite pieces I’ve done.

A Fine Team Of dramatic disasters Paranormal Investigators

You ever see a meme that represent your OCs so good you have to draw it? This one was perfect for this squad!

These disasters are my & @thecrimsonvalley-creates's Call of Cthulhu RPG OCs. The universe expanded in a way we didn't expect and They. Are. Thriving.

From left to right:

Lizbeth: a cheerful and peppy wildcard who enjoys throwing one too much molotov cocktails and hates paperwork with a passion.

Beatrice: a semi-functioning grump, constantly tired because she's awoken by spirits and entities at odd hours of the night.

And Gabriel: as much as a wildcard as Lizzy, a snarkass and kind of a dick, who has fucked himself both in and out of situations.

In terms of the universe I made, Thei Orrsen is a cultist and quite insane. She was originally part of the Institute of Extradimensional Research until she saw something she shouldn’t have.

Do they have a dynamic trope? (enemies to lovers, sunshine x grumpy, etc?)

I'd say Phoenyx and Thancred are a mix of unrequited love and friends to lovers. Phoenyx had a very big crush on Thancred for at least a year before acting on those feelings and Thancred was just too oblivious to his own emotions to realize he liked Phoenyx during ARR. And, of course, they were friends before they got together.

Prometheus and Hythlodaeus are your classic friends to lovers. They were best friends for a very long time, and one day, suddenly there was more.

Prometheus and Hades, however... For one thing, they're sunshine x grumpy. Prometheus is an absolute ray of positivity and Hades is so so grouchy. For another, they're frenemies to lovers. But the enemy in frenemy was really only on Hades's side of things because Prometheus gives him headaches lmao.

Einarr and Moira are forbidden love with no resolution. They fight on separate sides of the Contramemoria, always trying to get to each other, but the Flood of Darkness swallows them before anything can come of it.

Mini and Muse are enemies to lovers. Essentially hatefucking that turned into catching feelings and wanting to make each other better and feel taken care of.

Lizzy and Muse are friends to lovers, to heartwrenching death and tragedy, back to friends, then back to lovers. It's a long story lol.

similar but different,

there should have been a scene where we meet a witness or someone from their past in a bar and dean just goes on and on about his "baby brother sammy" and how he grew up to be such a dork and a geek and can't keep his head out of a book and he's in the car right now, because he wanted to finish researching this topic or whatever.

and they go outside at the end of the night and there's this 6'5" hulking monster leaning against the car with his head cocked and his arms crossed and a slow, strange smile on his face. the person stops, because what? they were promised a weird nerd with gangly limbs. the sammy from dean's stories tried to sneak a box of kittens into the trunk when he was eleven because he couldn't bear to leave them outside.

this guy absorbs the light around him, even the yellow, sickly light of the streetlamp warps around him, like the man is a black hole. and there's just this feeling, deep in the person's gut, that sam is Not Right, like the feeling you get sometimes seeing abandoned houses. there is something Here that shouldn't be, or there's something Not Here that should be.

and dean pats sam hard on the shoulder like "yeah this is the loser in question" and sam rolls his eyes. and they're like oh okay, maybe he's not--

and his eyes cut over, and they're not...they're not quite human eyes, are they?

they should have had a season where dean was just like “that’s sam. he’s my devil brother” and sam was sitting on the hood of the impala with unblinking yellow eyes and black smoke drifting off his body

i paired these two together cause the design potential was eating away at my brain. two giant eldritch type characters combined. biblically accurate angel and deep sea horror. so good. they are ten feet tall and approaching fast.

i might draw skizz again on his own just to fully show how spooky he is. quite happy with how lizzie turned out though.

i accidentally deleted a couple lil silly comics and the original concept doodles cause im an idiot, redrawing them didnt give off the same vibes so i gave up on those. moment of silence for the extra content that once was 😔🕊️

Every murder drones characters explained as poorly I possibly can

Uzi- so imagine that one day alien robot vampires come down from the sky are start doing a genocide but then the biggest loser from your high school kills one of them and starts banging the other 2, that's Uzi doorman.

N- you see that Cinnamon roll yeah he has committed at least two genocides.

V- so she's a deep and complex character with a good amount of nuance but sadly she is the 3rd main character so she doesn't get alot of attention.

J- ok so imagine your worst manager, the most insufferable, micromanage and whiney person you know. Ok now imagine them as a hot robot, that's J murder drones.

Khan- deadbeat dad but he feels kinda bad about it.

Nori- jk your mom didn't die she just went through carcinization.

Doll- she is on a revenge quest but she keeps getting distracted and murdering a lot of people who have nothing to do with her parents death.

Yeva- we know like 3 things about her, and one of them is that she's good at Tetris.

Alice- cannibal furry dear girl who will torture you.

Beau- baby but spider legs and a cowboy hat.

Thad- there are only like 3 male characters who are actually important to the plot and he only barely counts in that list.

Lizzy- she's a classic mean girl stereotype except she is very open about being gay.

Teacher- an average teacher

Sparky/the sentinels- Liam watch Jurassic park and thought raptors were the coolest thing.

Tessa- she is really important to the lore despite the real her only having 3 minutes of screen time.

Cyn- she is a silly Eldritch horror who is also casually the best character in all of fiction.

Rebecca/every other background character- uuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh they do be existing

Things I loved about the Murder Drones Finale: Part 3

Spoilers, obviously

The secret handshake during the boss fight was great, (V did not want to be a part of that.)

Uzi predicting Cyn’s teleport was genius.

The way she created a black hole like you’d detonate a grenade.

She blasted a hole through the whole planet and used the sunlight to melt Cyn’s heart. Incredible.

Cyn’s face when Uzi swallowed the solver core.

Thad’s skateboarding move and Lizzy taking a selfie after almost dying. What a duo.

Nori definitely passed down her awkward tsundere energy to Uzi.

Khan’s kinda freaky, and the teacher just climbed back down instead of dealing with it.

A sentinel driving a bus wasn’t on my bingo card, but okay.

Not my personal ship, but Envuzi shippers ate well with this. “Weirdly hot robots”, and this reunion scene. Perfect.

Uzi absorbed an Eldritch entity, and her first instinct is “oh this makes me so much edgier now” is hilarious.

Callback to the pilot episode.

“Get tunnel vision on spooky robot corpse reveal and work backwards from there.” An accurate description of the writing process.

That teacher’s gonna lose it.

“That’s my girlfriend!” WE FUCKING WON!

Also Lizzy and V might be a thing? If so, good for them.

N knows how to draw manga now.

J’s rebuilding her ship. Maybe she’s running away to the dog planet, IDK.

Doll’s funeral was so funny. “Babe-a-tron Queenthousand?” Lizzy please. But at least we got to see them in their prom outfits again.

Khan and Nori did properly reunite, and N finally got to play that game of Gin Rummy.

Finally, it seems the solver’s consciousness is still alive in Uzi, but she’s got it under control at least. So good for her.

So what's Crystal's/Potato's backstory exactly? Like did Uzi and N come across her while hunting and collectively decided "our baby now"? Also I did notice she only seems to have one arm, did she lose the other one?

Potato's lore [which I'll just refer her as for simplicity sakes; also bc bouncing her diff names may get confusing] is actually kinda. Sad </3 so incoming for implied heavy themes;; also kinda long, I like to ramble soooo yeah :p

Potato was actually found by V first!

V was out finding drone parts for Nori [who has gotten a body at this point in this continuation. also the disassembly drones kinda?? (not entirely) work under Nori] when she stumbled upon a couple of murked drones, precisely a deceased couple & pod. It struck her as odd since she didn't recognize who the drones were or the fact there didn't seem like any of the disassemblers were behind it. Her attention was grabbed by a nearby, busted out car, & that's where she would find Potato; laying there, injured & scared, somehow surviving whatever had attacked the family.

Obvs first instinct was to bring the droneling [funny name ik] back & she was put under Nori's watch for awhile.. mostly bc V was unsure if she was qualified to take care of another kid, at least at the time [which in this continuation/au, she is paired up with Lizzy & those two already have a kid named Harley (owned by my bro @teddyberrii)].

That's really when Uzi & N step in, since at this point the two have been trying for a kid for awhile now to no avail; they didn't know Potato was in the Doorman residence/Nori's workshop until her little head poked out the doorway & they all stared at each other like deer in headlights. It is safe to say that Potato was already up Uzi's leg, clinging to her like a baby koala & she simply accepted the drone as her new kiddo [especially since it would a week or two & no additional family member of hers seemed to come pick up Potato... so she was officially a Doorman.]

Regarding some of Potato's scars [on her face, the lack of an arm, etc], they were inflicted. She's almost completely mute & doesn't really talk; essentially Potato's been through some.. hardy stuff & honestly it takes a long time to really come to terms with a lot of things [childhood trauma does wonders for you /sar.] However, pretty much after getting adopted by Uzi & N.. her life gets better! Despite now being in a family of, what everyone assumes, of mix-matched monsters & unimaginable eldritch horrors.. she is very happy! She gets to grow up with parents that love her dearly & recover from that past trauma.

Will I go into more Potato lore? Yeah, I plan to; not trying to be too secretive since I'm unsure if I'll ever make a story outta this but eh we'll see.. hope this answers something for you anon <3

..also if you, or anyone else, are curious; Potato's real name is Crystal. I just refer to her as Potato bc that was her placeholder name.. & I just never got rid of it! Thought it was funny.

Solace for the Lonely

This was an AU idea I had just aptly named "Life Series Therapy Session" where it stemmed from a stupid headcanon that after a while, Grian started to feel bad for how the games were taking a toll on his friends so instead of being an eldritch horror he uses Watcher like abilities to like.....make therapy for his friends???

Joel was his guinea pig.

Basically the premise for Joel's session was he had to find closure in his past as one of the lonelier members by helping other members who were cursed with loneliness in other life series' and help them come to terms with things.

With LL!Scar, Joel is a bit awkward because it's the first person he's conversing with so there's this sorta of whiplash and this season was the one where him going red left them both alone.

Scar is also shocked at the sight of a Joel who isn't mental, and given Scar's track record in later seasons of unfaithful soulmates and forced villainy, Joel finds him the hardest to comfort.

He opts for telling him that one day he'll meet people he can call family, hinting towards the Clockers, but never outright saying it. He thinks back on his time with the Bad Boys, and his unwavering loyalty to them. He thinks the season might've been a step towards a less solitary life for them both.

When he sees DL!Pearl is his next "client," he's much more confident. He's teamed with Pearl at this point, and he knows that she will not have to suffer her Double Life fate again.

He has to tiptoe around specifically mentioning the Mounders and the fact that they are a group that forms because he doesn't want the Butterfly Effect to take place. Being as vague as possible, he assures Pearl that one day she will find people to be devoted to again (even if he does leave out the part about them all dying before her...for her own wellbeing).

Pearl is naturally skeptical. She's been isolated on this server that's meant to be about love and in this world where DL!Joel is purposefully antagonistic, here he is uncharacteristically telling her everything will turn out okay in the vaguest nature possible. And she's just expected to believe that?

Even so, as he walks away, she can't help but feel a little more hopeful.

The last person Joel encounters is SL!Lizzie, and this one stings a bit more. Joel knows Lizzie's fate in this world, and it's not pretty for her. Lizzie didn't particularly have a happy story in Last Life either, so something about this is extra unfortunate.

Joel just goes straight in and tells her that he will always be there for her because that is the full truth and he knows Lizzie needs to hear it. Maybe not at this point; maybe at this point SL!Lizzie is completely content and nothing particularly bad has happened to her, and she's wondering why her husband is at her doorstep looking so sympathetic.

But when Joel remembers a certain party, and the way he was still attacked even after being her sole supporter, he feels he has to comfort her, and tell her that he loves her, and somehow make it so her cold and lonely death in the end doesn't feel so bitter after this is all done.
