She whom leads the world: Elder Queen Lune

Age: 5344 Likes: Nemo, swords, her family, Shiglet chops, Pacifica, Venenum, dragons, Lizardma'mes, Hopinx, art, collecting pins, scarfs, the Moon, MMO games, Not doing her job Dislikes: traitors, the Elder kings of past, traitors, tofu, her job, crowns Lune: She whom rules the whole world, mother of many, guiding light of war, survivor of Death fang, inheritor of the champion's love. A dragon that has earned many titles over a life of conflict and sorrow. She was born a runt dragon: Naturally smaller than other dragons of her species, but not only that a Eastern dragon born in the West by A pack of Eastern Dragons that had moved West for opportunity between a union of an Eastern Moon dragon and a Western light dragon. Her parents gave up their lives as sacrifices to Death fang to protect their village and her. However, when the time came for the next sacrifice The cowardly villagers decided to use Lune whom was only 10 to satisfy Death Fang. They made her eat until she was reasonably fat and plump, she spent those months alone and hopeless. On the day she was to die a Lizardma'me named Lite looked after her and on the night when Death fang came for her Lite gave her life to slay the first elder king so Lune could live the life she wanted. When Lune was old enough she left her village never to return and began to venture across the globe searching for knowledge and those in need of help to carry on Lite's will as a brave warrior. Even after becoming an elder dragon she remained humble, but rebellious against the mad elder kings. She liked neither of them, and refused to serve either of them, but that meant she spent centuries on the run from them and their armies. When the Dragon war came she worked with the wanted criminal Ida to guide innocents to the safety of Ida's grove, but as the war went on she could no longer stomach the evil deeds of the mad kings and led a desperate attack on the Western capital on a chance Ida could summon the demon to end the war once and for all. She fought bravely, but was unable to kill Zorn and would have perished that day if the demon had not finally returned and killed both of the elder kings and their armies to end the war for good. Lune never wanted to become the elder queen, but after her life of good deeds and heroic actions dragons and non dragons alike agreed there was no one more fit for the crown. Under her rule the world has faced much prosperity not just for the dragons, but for all kinds (except the meobwyn, but that's always been a touchy subject for dragons) Lune eventually Married Pacifica, However the marriage was mainly a political move to their benefit. Neither wanted to marry or wanted to share their thrones after the total monsters of elder kings in the past, but everyone always pressured them to marry. To get everyone off their backs they wed not only end the subject, but to form a stronger relationship between land and sea dragons. Lune herself has taken many dragons to bed and had MANY children over the ages though sadly none of them have ever managed to live long enough to become elder dragons.  Lune is an Eastern moon dragon. her powers change depending on the time of day. By day she's a dragon of darkness, but by night she shines bright as a dragon of light (and during a full moon she's even stronger). She usually carries her sacred sword dawn breaker in her pouch (along with most of her stuff) which magnifies her powers over light and dark magic. Funny enough, despite being an Eastern Dragon she doesn't use ki in battle as her master was a western swordswolf whom taught her magic. Now a days she's usually poring over paperwork, and attending holiday events. She hasn't gotten rusty as she still kills any would be idiot dragons that thinks she has gotten soft and want the crown for themselves.

hhgrhghh champion of soo-won byungjoon. thoughts. unsorted but thoughts

in canon he never really got to meet her for real i dont think. at least not face to face but he still like communicated with her right. and only after her death he kind of absorbed some of her energy.

but if i think about it now, hed be so easy to get void corrupted? like he hangs around at the harvest temple all the time and if something told him that he could serve the dragon hed be like yea sure ill do that i guess.

theres something about him becoming void and for once nagisa cant save him. worst case scenario, nagisa corrupts as well because in the end they just trust joon that much especially in regards to his connection to soowon. they have connectiosn to their own magical cool creature and they know that joon would never be able to understand, so they know that theyd never understandn whatever joon and dragon mom got going on. and its not like theyre aware of dragon corruption the way its happened with the other elderdragons.

even in its horror theyd still be willing to give themselves to the void because their beloved brother trusts it too. and joon does not trust anyone.

also void!joon would be a cool ass boss on dragons end/harvest temple phase. htcm gayboy edition where you have to murder some sad cowboy.

also like aside from corrupted/void champion, itd be so. nice to think about a soowon champion in the way many of us imagine the aurene branded commander/champion... like he'd carry some fishy watery characteristics, get this translucent shine, maybe his eyes/hair/parts of his skin have soowons colour scheme... of course the horns. oh horns.

or imagine him being a mermaid instead. in a universe where soowon stays alive and gets to roam the ocean and joon could swin with her. something sweet and gay like that.

or she doesnt survive, but he stays at the destroyed harvest temple forever. or at mothers lament, waiting to hear her voice again. it already is what he does now.

as a champion, would he understand that she had to die? surely she wouldve told him. she wouldve explained to him that this is how it ends. that she has to go. would he have listened to her, though? or would he have thought the commander, the void, her because he just cant let her go already?

maybe he would join the commander though. after all, they know what its like to be a dragon champion, and theyre pretty much the only one that understands. especially when aurene leaves, the commander would be the only one to somehow understand what its like.

and now if soowon is dead and byungjoon is alive as her champion. he is all that remains of. the literal creator. of the world. he carries the legacy of the MOTHER of THE PLANET. somewhere within him is the creation of all. somewhere within him is life and death and a cycle of destruction and magic. it still is in canon but as her actual champion thered just be. so much more.
