My 10 favorite female characters
I wanted to post this on women's day but kinda forgot?? Well, happy late women's day <3
Florence Cassell (Death in Paradise)
I like her so much, when I was younger I always wanted to be like her and look like her. She's amazing and deserves the world!
Lady Mary Crawley (Downton Abbey)
Pretty privilege is real because I forgive her everything
Elaine Benes (Seinfeld)
She's so cool and funny, I literally watched Seinfeld just because of her.
Lady Felicia Montague (Father Brown)
She made the show a lot more entertaining
Thirteen (House MD)
Love my canon bi women
Camille Bordey (Death in Paradise)
The list obviously wouldn't be complete without her
Elle Woods (Legally Blonde)
Queen
Natalie Teeger (Monk)
If you hate her you're the problem, she's so sweet and kind
Daisy Mason (Downton Abbey)
She was so cool in the later seasons, it's sad that her character is so underrated
Darlene Alderson (Mr Robot)
She's cool

Top 100 Ladies of TV
A challenge issued by @televinita that ended up being a lot harder than I expected?? For someone who watches as much TV as I do, this should’ve been a cakewalk but I was struggling.
Disclaimer: yeah, a few of these characters are technically from books that then got adapted into TV shows, which may be a bit of a cheat, but this is an arbitrary list that is completely meaningless to anyone who isn’t me, so I’ve decided that it’s not against the rules.

Characters: Jerome “Jerry” Allen Seinfeld and Elaine Marie Benes
Media: Seinfeld (1989-1998)
Played by: Jerry Seinfeld and Julia Louis-Dreyfus
Setting: 1990s, New York City
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Jerry Seinfeld is a mildly successful stand-up comedian who lives in New York City and whose apartment serves as a landing point for his eccentric friends.
Elaine Benes is one of the eccentric friends: Jerry’s disorganized ex-girlfriend who continues to be one of his best friends despite her sarcasm and general idiosyncrasies.
Jerry and Elaine, despite their past romantic relationship, spend time together every day trying to survive whatever storm-in-a-teacup they or their friends Kramer and George have gotten themselves involved in. As dysfunctional and unusual as their friendship is, Jerry and Elaine have each others’ backs at the end of the day and always dance on the edge of falling back in love with each other, a fact that doesn’t go unnoticed by their friends. Though they stay at a status-quo most of the time, their ever-interesting lives keep them busy and mildly flirtatious in a way that never seems to get old.
