Esta postagem começou a ser escrita no dia 07/02 pois eu queria ter a certeza de poder escrever da forma mais bonita que sou capaz sobre tudo o que admiro em você, a tempo do seu aniversário. E a cada momento que a saudade batia, fui escrevendo um parágrafo. Definitivamente não consegui em tempo, pois era muito a falar para pouco tempo disponível nessa agenda ansiosa pré-viagem. Espero que um dia eu tenha coragem de te enviar esse post e você possa ler tudo com a calma e amor com que fui escrevendo.

Acho que depois de todo esse tempo longe um do outro, sinto que a única coisa que me conecta a ela em outras dimensões e sonhos é o sentimento que ainda sinto. Então começo dizendo que talvez a V que conheço possa ter mudado bastante durante esse intervalo, e eu torço muito para que essa mudança seja para melhor. Portanto, algumas coisas que descrevo aqui podem estar um pouco desatualizadas.

A V que eu conheço é uma pessoa demasiadamente inteligente, com um raciocínio e senso de humor bastante afiados, batalhadora e disposta e dar o seu melhor sempre. Também se cobra demais nesse intuito, mesmo quando não é humanamente possível se dedicar como gostaria a um objetivo. Eu amo a pessoa curiosa que ela é, e me sinto muito identificado com isso desde o princípio. Este é um dos pilares mais importantes que procuro nas pessoas que quero que estejam na minha vida. Uma forma de curiosidade sincera, que vem de dentro, e não aquela que é apenas incentivada superficialmente para se encaixar em alguma norma da sociedade.

A V que eu conheço gasta muita energia se dedicando ao trabalho, mas gosta de natureza e trilhas, e me sinto triste por termos nos permitido explorar isso tão pouco. Até hoje tenho a ilusão de guardar o trem de Morretes e o Ekoa Park para descobrir pela primeira vez ao lado dela. Há muitas coisas que poderíamos compartilhar, fotografia tem sido uma paixão antiga que desde o início busquei explorar. Cheguei a convidá-la para assistir um curso que eu havia comprado quando estávamos começando a nos conhecer. Sempre tentava encaixá-lo em um dos mil planos que fazia para os finais de semana. Inclusive, sei que ela também gosta de dias cheios e com várias atividades conectadas, e sempre foi um grande prazer fazer roteiros e imaginar vidas e atividades mirabolantes.

A V que eu conheço é uma pessoa extremamente criativa, por mais que ela não acredite ou aceite. Possui um senso de humor único, destilado em piadas e momentos completamente inusitados em que uma realidade paralela era criada entre garçons e fofocas de corredor. Eu sempre me senti completamente desafiado a manter as pequenas histórias inventadas, e nunca tive minha cabeça tão ativa com esse fim. Puramente brilhante.

A V que eu conheço possui uma energia muito diferente das pessoas de Curitiba. E também é parte da classe trabalhadora, o que faz me sentir bastante identificado. Admiro muito as pessoas que batalham todos os dias para perseguir seus sonhos, ou em prol de fazer feliz as pessoas que amam. Admiro demais as pessoas que com persistência conseguem superar honestamente as adversidades e seguir em frente.

A V que eu conheço fala três idiomas e se interessa por infinitos outros. E isso me mostra que pode existir alguém especial com quem posso conhecer o mundo exatamente da forma como eu gostaria: fazendo amizades pelo caminho e criando memórias compartilhadas incríveis.

A V que eu conheço é alguém que possui a coragem necessária para deixar o próprio país, ir para lugares completamente desconhecidos, começar uma vida nova, longe das pessoas que mais ama, e ainda assim ser capaz de se reconstruir, pouco a pouco, de forma absolutamente brilhante. E para mim isso é um grande exemplo de força, determinação e resiliência.

Seria impossível não me apaixonar por uma pessoa que, além de tudo isso, é uma gg¹.

Talvez eu não seja a pessoa que ela mais gostaria que lhe mandasse uma carta de aniversário. Porém, mandar cartas é importante. Expressar os sentimentos é importante. Às vezes nos perdemos desabafando apenas sentimentos negativos, pois eles tocam na profundidade e precisam ser expelidos de algum jeito. E eu espero que com essa breve carta eu possa demonstrar, bem pouquinho, que não é a toa que demoro tanto para superar tudo o que passou.

Se você estiver lendo isso um dia, V, saiba que você é luz. Se veja assim, deixe essa luz brilhar sem medo e espalhe o melhor de si, pois sua luz conforta e faz bem. Sobre os erros, todos tomamos decisões ruins, muitas vezes sem intenção. Mas é cobrando o que fomos que nós iremos crescer.

Verizon testing using 5G and Drone to improve Healthcare. PALO ALTO, CALIF - Verizon Public Sector has been collaborating with the Veterans Health Administration’s National Center for Collaborative Healthcare Innovation (NCCHI) and the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS) in the development and testing of 5G mobile edge compute (MEC) and drones designed to improve safety and efficiency. From the curation of advanced sensor-enabled drones to technical integrations, and FAA-compliant pilot training, early work has validated the potential to enhance operations including safety, security and physical infrastructure monitoring. “This collaborative work is designed to enhance the safety of our patients and staff in the event of emergencies by leveraging cutting-edge technologies for improved situational awareness, strategic coordination, and response times. On a more routine basis, the advanced sensors, combined with the agility of the aerial perspective, can also expand our ability to proactively monitor vital hospital infrastructure,” said Dr. Thomas Osborne, Director of the National Center for Collaborative Healthcare Innovation (NCCHI) and Chief Medical Informatics. This is September's Love with Food box. Included this month: Lekko all natural Belgian dark chocolate spread - For a dark chocolate, it's sweet and not at all bitter. I used it as a dip. It worked alright. It would make a better spread because of it's texture. I've had Bush's Sriracha lime crisp roasted chickpeas previously. That's how I knew it'd be good on any kind of salad. It adds a nice, crisp texture and a bit of heat. Know better cookies are a soft, sweet, chocolatey treat. They're good as a snack or as dessert. Ekoa pure banana surprised me. I expected it to taste like figs because of the coloration. It tastes like underripe bananas. It's sweet but doesn't have the sweetness that comes with ripened fruit. I really enjoyed Wonderful pistachios. I could taste the sweetness from the honey; but, it didn't overpower the roasted pistachio flavor. I loved Off the Eaten Path's chickpea veggie crisps. They're crisp, addicting, and taste like well made chips. You wouldn't know by eating these that they're veggie crisps - and I love veggie crisps. They just don't have the same flavor. These would have a broader appeal. Clifbar mojo crunch snack clusters are enjoyable. I love that I can taste all the grains. There's a slight sweetness where you can identify the barbecue flavor. Personally I like this product. It'd be better if the barbecue flavor was stronger since it's advertised on the front of the package. My favorites this month are Off the eaten path chickpea veggie crisps and Wonderful honey roasted pistachios. I enjoy Love with Food because it gives me the opportunity to try a variety of healthy food with different flavors and textures. I look forward to it every month.

Cumhurbaşkanı Mustafa Akıncı, Kıbrıs Türkü’nün özgün kimliğinin korunmasının önemine vurgu yaparak, “Kıbrıs Türkü’nün kendine has farklılıkları bir zenginlik ve güzelliktir. Bunu böyle değerlendirmek ve illa ki aynılaşmak gibi bir yaklaşım sergilememek gerekir. Kıbrıs Türkü, yıllar içerisinde çeşitli doğal etkileşimler yaşayarak, bugünlere kendi özgün kimliğiyle geldi” dedi.

“Kendi topraklarımızda özgür bir toplum olarak, güvenlik ve eşitlik içinde yaşamak dışında bir hedefimiz yok. Başkalarının haklarında da gözümüz yok” diyen Akıncı, “O nedenle Kıbrıs Türkü’ne Atatürk’ten kaynaklanan barışçı bir dil yakışır, savaş çığırtkanlığı değil. Atatürk’ün “yurtta barış, dünyada barış” ilkesini sonuna kadar götüreceğiz. Sorun varsa, çözümünü dövüşerek değil, görüşerek arayacağız. Savaş çığırtkanlığına gerek yoktur” şeklinde konuştu.   Cumhurbaşkanı Mustafa Akıncı, eşi Meral Akıncı ile birlikte, Büyükkonuk Belediyesi ile Eko Turizm Derneği işbirliğinde ve Telsim ana sponsorluğunda düzenlenen “20. Yöresel, yerel tatlarla zenginlikleri, kültürümüzü yaşıyoruz” diyerek şunları kaydetti:   “Karpaz’ın, Büyükkonuk’un kendi içinden doğmuş yöresel zenginlikleriyle güzelliklerini hep birlikte burada yaşıyoruz. Bu, bizim özgün kimliğimiz ve güzelliğimiz. Bunu muhafaza etmeliyiz. Kimliğimizin kendine has farklılıkları bir zenginlik ve güzelliktir. Böyle değerlendirmek ve illa ki aynılaşmak gibi bir yaklaşım sergilememek gerekir. Konuşmasına, “Bunlara karşı ne yapabilirdik? Mücadele edip direnmek, bu topraklarda savaşmak zorundaydık” diyerek devam eden Cumhurbaşkanı, Türkiye’nin de yardımlarıyla bu mücadelelerden geçildiğini ve bugünlere gelindiğini belirtti. Cumhurbaşkanı konuşmasına şöyle devam etti:   “SORUN VARSA DÖVÜŞEREK DEĞİL GÖRÜŞEREK HALLEDİLİR” “Kendi topraklarımızda özgür bir toplum olarak, güvenlik ve eşitlik içinde yaşamak dışında bir hedefimiz yok. Ancak kuşkusuz ki yıllardır denene ve sonuç üretmeyen metot ve yaklaşımlarla değil” dedi.   “HALKIMIZLA BİRLİKTE YÜRÜYECEĞİZ” Ne BM ile ne de diğer uluslararası örgütlerle çatışmaya girmeye gerek olmadığını söyleyen Cumhurbaşkanı Akıncı, “Ne istediğini bilen, haklarını korumasını bilen kararlı bir halk ve KKTC devleti olarak yolumuza devam edeceğiz. Hiç kimse yanlış düşüncelere kapılıp, günün birinde güneydeki Rum devletinin azınlığına dönüşmeye hazır bir toplum haline geleceğimizi kimse düşünmesin, bu yanlış hesaba kendini kaptırmasın. Ne istediğini bilen, barışçı kimliğinden uzaklaşmayan, hakkını görüşme masasında tescil etmeyi bilen, Kıbrıs Türkü’ne yakışan bir yaklaşım sergileyeceğiz. Yapmamız gereken budur ve bunu her zaman yakın ilişki içinde olduğumuz Türkiye Cumhuriyeti ile bugüne kadar olduğu gibi yakın istişare içinde yapacağız. Siyasi partilerimiz, sivil toplumumuz ve en önemlisi halkımızla birlikte yapacağız” dedi. She's... quiet, a bit distant, not very approachable.Skelomorphs: The Mastersons... they're dicks. They're evil in so many ways it's hard to even know how to portray that.32. Easiest character to write.Resist: Shana. Hands down. I know her personality like my own.Skelomorphs: Well I haven't written much for it but Nani. She's similar in some ways to Shana and that makes her easier to write.The Doll Maker's Apprentice: Again, haven't actually written much, but Adelia is pretty easy. She's a lot like me, quieter and more reserved.33. Do you listen to music when you’re writing?Sometimes, sometimes I can't focus on both and have to turn it off though.34. Handwritten notes or typed notes?Oh god my notes are everywhere... typed, written on scraps, tucked into 75 different notebooks (only slightly an overstatement...)35. Tell some backstory details about one of your characters in your story ________.Resist: Shana: Shana grew up in a wealthy home. She is the oldest of eight children and is unknowingly only fully related to five of them.Skelomorphs: Lance: Lance was used in fight clubs, but before becoming a morph actually worked in a flower shop. TDMA: Rekha grew up in a family of traveling merchants, and learned her mechanical skills from her sister. She learned how to sew from her uncle.36. A spoiler for story _________.Resist: Shana is actually Levi's daughter.Skelomorphs: Kai has a daughter who was made into a morph, Nani helps them reunite, as well as with her husband. Kai also winds up in a three way poly relationship with Jae and her husband William.TDMA: At one point Eoka, Ellery’s dragon, is captured and used as bait to try and get them to give away their position. Ekoa winds up freeing herself.
