RTTE SEASON 5 REVIEW

I wanna say a lil something about this season since it’s the one where I left the fandom for (and mostly I watched it drunk so I legit didn’t remember shit) but so far I liked it. I thought I was gonna hate it, but apart from the OBVIOUS reasons it was kinda bad AKA Viggo being back, Krogan being a Ryker 2.0, The BIG TRAITOR REVEAL, and mostly filler season, I liked the moments in between.

I’m a firm believer that RTTE should’ve ended at the end of season 4 (yes there was some loose ends but if they wrote it like an actual finale it would’ve worked just fine) cause the last 2 seasons feel like thing were just shoehorned in, like they forced so much stuff to happen cause they had 2 spare seasons and it shows… like S4 FELT like a finale: Viggo and Ryker die, Dragon Eye destroyed, Berserkers secured, allies secured, The Edge secure, Hiccstrid established, Krogan functions just fine as a cameo and nothing else, etc etc

Again my enjoyment for RTTE comes down mostly from my love for Snotlout (he really is the best character and MVP of this show dont @ me) and the twins, Everyone was still tolerable, we got the GAYEST EPISODE TO DATE, Snotlout legit telling TB he loved him like?! Jesus 😭�� My hc is that after that EP, Snotlout and Fishlegs started dating cause holy shit after that they DO ACT LIKE BOYFRIENDS (legit they act like HICCSTRID before they “started dating” and even AFTER they started dating) and I love that, Hc, they became boyfriends after TB and somewhere in S6 they broke up idc idc

I like Astrid and Hiccup for the most part ngl, they were not TERRIBLE, (apart from that ONE EPISODE where they tried to gaslight me into hating them but then I used my brain to figure out it was pointless forced drama and they truly did nothing wrong), Hiccup making a second Dragon eye was… a choice…… like he’s a GENIUS don’t get me wrong, I can suspend my disbelief that he would be capable and I’m sure he did know how to make one himself, but idk another continuity error, like are u telling me now that there’s 2 Dragon Eyes and BOTH need to be obsolete by the end of this show???? Ok…

Even Stoick and his relationship with Hiccup AND ASTRID, I enjoyed that SO SO MUCH, it was really in character. Toothless as usual is a non character sadly…..

Heather and Dagur were super underutilized sadly, the more I think about it? The more I think Dagur should’ve stayed dead (AND I ADORE HIM) and Heather taken over, I DIDNT LIKE THAT HEATHER WAS NOT THERE WHEN THEY WENT TO SEE OSWALD! Like Wth Dagur and HICCUP? Fuck u for keeping it from her. It should’ve been her, literally replace any scene Dagur has w Heather and nothing will change. As much as I ADORE DAGUR AND I DO ADORE HIM, between him and Heather? Idk make them BOTH a team instead of separating them OR actually use them in a meaningful way. Cause another thing that will never not piss me off was HEATHER HAVING THE LENS AND NO ONE FUCKING NOTICING IT UNTIL NOW! Felt so HARD like a retcon and the writers wrote themselves into a corner, it feels so much like they just also forgot she had it for the first 4 seasons and decided that it was suddenly important for the plot which was so cheap imo and infuriating. (Since season 3, Heather being w the riders is not a bad thing but in S4 we barely see them still after she left, either make her super important and use her - something you HAVE for all the show actually- or don’t, cause she feels like nothing but a plot device now and not a character)

Now I know the BIG TRAITOR REVEAL was coming (I didnt watch it the first time cause I hated it) so I just wanted to actually know how they played it out and it was not AS BAD as I remember, but I was just mostly laughing at the absurdity lol when they made it so obvious by then it was so funny.

Now Viggo being alive is smth I’m still meh about, I dont love when shows do that, BUT I enjoy his character too much to be mad tbh, I have NOT WATCHED SEASON 6, like EVER, not even back then, so I have no idea what to expect with him. I am EXCITED.

Mostly this season did feel like they were resetting and rewriting so much stuff to make things make sense, and most of it was filler, which fine I could watch like 1724983 hours of the gang just doing NOTHING, so filler? Is not a bad thing for me. That’s why I liked it. It was not as bad as I remember. Some things sure were so ABSURD but funny. Made NO SENSE, but I already know a lot of it is not canon so I’m not mad anymore. I just enjoyed it for what it is.

I’m excited to FINALLY WATCH SEASON 6! I never have and honestly my refound love for RTTE has me super excited to watch it for the first time. 🙏

I have this idea for a marauders fic I wanna write. Its something I think I could write well and I want to create it for other people to read. But I haven't written a lot of fanfic, mostly because I feel weird writing about charecters other people see differently. And not in the jkr sense like idc so much abt og authors tho I do plan to follow some canon, more the problem is I just feel really hesitant to put my work up in a place where other people *also* write about the exact same charecters and have equal rights to me in terms of its not like they're my charecters, because I don't want other people's vision to affect mine. Idk. I know I could just not share but I feel like it fills a hole in the vast tapestry of fan fic cause if it didn't, I could just go read abt it instead of having to write it. I went through a list of all the named marauders Era charecters and figured I'd pick a couple to use that don't feel so fleshed out in fanon so that I don't have to stress abt that aspect of it. Basically I love barty as a charecter and I feel like my idea of him matches enough that I can write him, but not so much like remus or lily or like Marlene and Mary and the other female charecters? Especially for the girls there seems to be so little Canon but they always seem written so complexely it scares me.

Also parents by yungblud was actually written by barty I don't make the rules.

Misunderstanding Anon

Okay. So, I accidentally had a small misunderstanding with an only partial acquaintance at the time and it accidentally turned into one of the biggest lies I've ever told?

At first I just let it go because like... what does it matter? It's not like it's really going to make a difference anyway? And we're not even friends so who cares?

But now we're like months into our relationship and what had started off as it wouldn't matter has slowly turned into, well fuck how am I supposed to tell him now??

And it's not a big lie either! As an example it would be like he assumed I was vegetarian and I wasn't, but now it gets brought up so much and my anxiety had just kinda forced me into pretending it's true so now I'm like fuck is this my life from now on?

Because it's gotten to the point where it just feels like this HUGE secret and I know you'll say to come clean, but what if he hates me for lying this whole time?

I could try to explain that it really was a misunderstanding at first, and I know it wasn't right of me to not correct it when things started getting serious, but he's so big about honesty and I'm just so worried this would make us fall apart?

Its just over something SO stupid and I have no idea what I'm going to do??

Okay so this is honestly (ha) a really hard situation because there's no easy answer. But let's think of the possibilities.

Let's say you don't say anything. Then from there, he could either never find out and you continue to feel guilty like this (doesn't sound fun) or he DOES find out, but from someone else. I think probably wouldn't end up good.

Let's say you DO say something. He could get mad, yeah. But at least you're in control of when and where that happens. And maybe if you write something out, similarly to how you did here, he'll understand and your relationship will be okay.

So yea...there's no easy decision. But I'm not gonna lie, I think you should tell him. Especially if it's a small thing, I think the odds are you can get through it if you tell him on your own.

Here's the thing, I'm not sure how much YOU can do. If V's parents are doing something abusive (like...from a legal standpoint) then what I would suggest is to have V's friend who lives nearby report them. But ONLY do that if you're sure you can prove the abuse. Because if not, that'll just piss them off more.

If you can't prove abuse, then the best thing to do, sadly, is to wait. Because if you keep trying to contact her, her parents could see and it could make them angrier. Try to stay in contact with her through her friend to know she's okay and leave it at that. I'm sure she'll eventually find a way to contact you <3

I say this because when you mention him, you have only talk about how he treats you, not anything about him or who he is as a person.

It's okay that you didn't see it - I was debating sending this for a good week before I saw him and only plucked up the courage the night before so its mostly my fault - I know you get a lot of asks as well too.

I just don't want him to find out that I'm repeatedly lying to him cause that'll make him more and more angry, and trust me that isn't safe.

Luckily my sister goes back to University soon, and generally he only sees us when its the both of us rather than just one kid, so hopefully I wont have to see him until whenever my sister visits. I also rely on him a bit (?) He pays like £13 child support per kid per month - but only if the kid is in education, hence why he's still paying for my sister thats in Uni - which means as soon as he knows that I'm not in college, my mum will receive £13 less - which yes, isnt much, but also we are really poor. He could pay more and I know he could, when we go out he's always buying me and my sister stuff (probably to lovebomb(?) us into hanging out with him)

I hope that when he finds out, he isn't violent, but this is the man that was very violent to me when I was a baby, so I know my hopes wont mean shit to him.

ya know what..... Kalim is one of those sunshine characters that naturally interacts and "befriends" so many characters. It's always the sunshine characters that I'm drawn to put in a giant poly-hole where basically everyone is in love with them. It just makes sense.

Kalim x Silver: He's always waking Silver up in class and tries to help is drowsy spells. They're also just one of the few genuinely sweet guys on campus so it's pure fluff. A bonus advantage is that since Silver is a Trained Knight (or on the road to be) he can protect Kalim from assassination attempts.

Kalim x Ruggie: Eat The Rich w/ a twist. My precious hyena boy DESERVES to get married to a sincere Sugar Daddy (or as my gf and I like to say, Sugar Bestie™). He's worked hard enough and Kalim is one of the few upper class individuals that would NEVER use his money or status to control, manipulate or abuse another. He just wants to help out and the endless positivity would not only bring Rugs outta his comfort zone but would also impact those in his hometown A LOT.

Riddle x Kalim: Not a favorite, but I get it. Two kids from wealthy families (one more wealthy than the other) who were kinda isolated from the "regular" world and gotta figure shit out for themselves away from their former caretakers. Obvi, very different contexts and personality but that's what helps them depend on one another. Even when they can't relate, they can Listen and Grow together.

Floyd x Kalim: ARE YOU KIDDING THEY'RE ADHD BUDDIES?!?!? Not only can they relate with similar neurological issues, but their common interests can be a safe zone for them to bond. On top of that, even with their reckless personalities and their overall lack of forethought, Floyd is STRONG and could protect Kalim from any pushback or consequences. They're also both raised by Extreme Capitalist (even thou we don't exactly know what the Tweels parents DO) so the business sense and exposure to the darker side of things probably wouldn't be too much of an adjustment for either side.

Obvi Jamil x Kalim: I know not everyone likes this ship (and considering the dynamic and difference in power/status I TOTALLY get it). Even if the relationship is seen through platonic soulmates, brother-like, or just a 'we-were-stuck-together-for-years-and-now-we-don't-know-how-to-live-apart' sitcom kinda vibe they'll ALWAYS be linked together. Besides, an angsty, complicated childhood friends to lovers story with repressed mutual pinning is a guilty pleasure of mine lol!

Whoever he gets paired with, regardless of if it's a ship that has an anchor in canon interactions or PURELY fueled by fanon crack, there's a billion tropes to work with before even having to dip into AU or Crossover. Kalim is a COMPLEX CHARACTER with so many random lore drops and info that has so much potential. Even when people are writing or creating fan-produces with a more 2d version of his character, he's still lovable!! He's one of the few reoccurring characters in a cast full of obnoxious, weird, arrogant, awful, annoying, egotistical, pigheaded teenage boys with the power of NUKES.... And isn't completely terrible.

Lemme reiterate, that I LOVE so many characters in Twisted Wonderland but boy do these kids get on my nerves. They're all little assholes in some way or another, but there's a range between "okay, pretty standard high schooler" to "IDC IF YOURE TRAUMATIZED NO AMOUNT OF BACKSTORY CAN EXCUSE YOUR ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOR!!!!! YOU'RE A FUCKING INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL WTF" and Kalim is a lot chiller. He's irrational sometimes and often does things without thinking it through.... But he's also a kid who's allowed to make mistakes and grow now that he's away from the bubble he grew up in. He can interact with people of all walks of life and get that perspective.

And depending on who he's paired with, romantic or otherwise, it's fascinating and heart wrenching and awe inspiring to watch him grow through the lens and experiences of the other person(s).

Being thin is important. It's no wonder why I find it completely unattractive. Especially with how hard I work to stay somewhat on the average side of the weight scale. That's why I'd rather eat for survival than enjoy a cake at this point.

I saw a candy bar advertised in stop and shop and I legit thought why would anyone eat that? Food is for survival. Food is legit to satiate you. And then I thought stopped myself and said wow wtf. Appearantly I'm a fitness dude now cause I love chocolate and I love eating for pleasure but I stopped.

When you have Graves disease and you eat like a piggy for years, food gets to be annoying rather than enjoyable and then you go to normal and things keep you full for so fucking long it's weird. And I don't eat for pleasure. I get things that taste good. But I eat for survival. I don't want candy. Or chocolate or French fries (they kinda are my weakness I do want them okay 😭) I want a protein bar and a thin waistline.

Also my headache went away... and I guess I'll monitor symptoms and go if I need to. Cause I mean I'm probably fine. If I die, I die, I guess.

That is your decision if you ever decide to watch the series again... I'm not forcing you. And I'm enjoying this series. Except if this series is so popular, then why is there rarely any content? There is rarely any form of content for this fandom. And it's angering me. So that means now I have to write for another fandom that has no content. What the fuck.

But the violent scenes really pick up by episode three. Though.. I have always waited an episode or two before judging a series, because any first couple episodes are always introduction to plots and characters.

Like I said.. I have a type. Apparently I would be attracted to the guys who have no problem harming men but are against any abuse toward women and children. Akaza, Gun-woo, Woo-jin, Rocky, Vincenzo may even be only some more obvious examples of these types of men too.

Obviously romance is part of their stories. Since that is definitely part of the reason for the story.. The H&L fandom needs some romance as it is, so why not write it yourself. No one else seems to be doing that.

Romance and smut.

Now that Halloween is getting closer, I will definitely have to get back into watching more horror shows and movies.. Not that I don't always watch horror series. But lately I have been into a lot of other genres at the moment, like action and crime right now. So I am going to search through the horror genres soon (including anime too) to watch next.

Smoky has always been a big brother to everyone in Nameless City in ways that people seem to forget that they are blood related, well, not that family is always about blood relations either. They are a founding family type of family. So no biological relationships for most of them.

Even though Smoky isn't in the franchise that often for more obvious reasons, I would like to involve his character more in some ways that I might be able to. But I'll have to figure out how to do that though.

And I can imagine that for Takeshi.. Since Smoky was huge presence, a huge presence, in Nameless City since he was a baby. He might feel like he could never live up to the same expectations Smoky, he might constantly compare himself to Smoky. Kind of like how Cobra always compares himself to his older brothers of Mugen, wondering if he is a good enough leader for his younger friends of Sannoh. So I can see it.

Exactly. Common sense is not common anymore. What "common" is, shouldn't be common. What common is for most people.. Betraying a lot of their loved ones (whoever that loved one is), almost killing other people and business by consuming drugs and alcohol - depending on their vices, prostitution, gambling. I try my best not to be judgmental, but situations like these make it difficult for me not to be judgmental.

I know, I know.. Everyone's human. We make mistakes. Whatever. I've heard those comments. But, when people do things like these things, it's hard for me not to judge them when they're careless or reckless in a situation where people and even places are always harmed by them to begin with. And then people wonder why I always hate humanity.

This is why I prefer the company of animals over humans. Because so many humans do things like this.. It's always so rare for me, at least in my experience, to find people who are actually decent to be around.

i didn’t initially intend for ryuko and hinami to be in the same group overall universe, but then i imagined the two of them and kizzy in some badass girl trio fight scene, and now they are. they probably meet briefly while ryuko is being passed around the cities to avoid kuryu, and then during fights, but they’re not overly close but they are friends.

they’re edges just don’t really line up well, if that’s understandable? like ryuko is very booksmart and kinda princess-y, and hinami is very streetsmart and kinda tomboyish; ryuko is angry at her mother for abandoning her, but hinami has become (mostly) indifferent to being abandoned by her parents (until it rains); so they kind of clash a little?

idk how it is in other places, but all around australia, there’s been a lot of disrespect, especially from younger people. there’s horrible cases of severe bullying, fighting, and stealing (including car theft and then joyriding).

and then there’s all the cheating and drug use, drunk driving. everything’s kinda going to shit and it’s getting harder and harder to find decent people. so many people care more about themselves than caring at all - even minorly - about the people around them.

cultural differences

i have a lot of international friends. and with me being american and them being from Literally Anywhere Else, we have discovered a Lot of cultural differences. pair that with curtwen/spies brainrot and you get whatever This is: 

- starting off strong with an obvious one: temperature. the age old fahrenheit v. celsius debate. like i imagine the guys just walking around whatever city they’re in for the week and (we’ll say it’s summer idc) curt’s like ‘it’s so hot out here, it’s gotta be like 90 degrees or something’ and owen just looks at him in Horror for a second (maybe he even says something along the lines of ‘mega ik it’s warm but that’s just overdramatic’) before he remembers curt’s american and that’s just Regular hot in fahrenheit and not like INSANELY hot like it is in celsius. and then he’s just ‘no its more like 32 degrees i think’ just to fuck with him bc the same though process will go through curt’s head and owen just wants to see his face before he remembers owen’s british and not just saying the opposite of what he said. and ofc they know both systems well enough; they’ve traveled around enough for that. and usually it’s not that weird; curt’s used to owen using celsius and owen’s used to curt using fahrenheit and they usually get what the other is saying, but Sometimes they just either forget or don’t want to convert what they’re saying for the other, so they just Don’t and let the other suffer trying to figure it out for a minute. 

-same with measurement. american measurement names are so weird to begin with, it’s like curt’s asking to get made fun of when he talks about how many feet something is or Whatever. (also just imagine owen mocking curt’s accent the way curt mocks owen’s at the start of the show,, yeah it’s great) Anyway- it’s pretty much the same thing as the temperature situation, but because of the american measurements curt just gets made fun of a lot more. like owen knows what he means when he says it but he’s still gonna respond like ‘what the ✨bloody hell✨ is an inch????’ (extra british to just make it that much worse for curt lol)

-chain stores. listen idk what all types of chains they had in the 50s (britain especially lol) but they for sure weren’t nearly as globalized as they are now (pretty much all i remember is that walmart and mcdonalds existed in the US at that point tbh) but ik based on conversations i’ve had with my international friends it’d go something like this (the same for if you flipped them too ofc): owen: hey have you been to *insert British chain (restaurant, store, Whatever)*   curt: sorry to What?? i’ve literally never even heard of that. what is it?       owen: ONLY THE BEST THING EVER???? i can’t believe you don’t have those in america, no wonder you’re so miserable...                                                         and then the second they have an opportunity to do so, owen drags curt to britain to experience Whatever The Place was lol. curt’s done the same with some american places, too. They both really love those trips :)

-names of every day objects. this one probably comes up between them most often (also the most obvious). of course there’s the difference between apartment and flat, trunk and boot, elevator and lift, etc. these types of differences generally don’t bother them (same with the extra u’s in words like colo(u)r), it just earns the other some classic accent mocking. it’s the pronunciation of some words has nearly ended their relationship a few times. examples include but are not limited to: 1) cicada; i imagine they’re out on like. a stakeout or something and it’s getting dark and curt’s like ‘woah the sic-kay-duhs are so loud right now’ and owen’s just ‘... the What?? are you talking about sic-ah-duhs?? like the bugs?’ ‘yeah... how did you say it???’ ‘sic-ah-duh.’ ‘wrong.’ and it’s just them realizing that this is yet another american/british relationship clash and argue about who’s right about the pronunciation until they almost miss their mission target moving. 2) scone; i’m not gonna write this one out like i did the last one but here’s the rundown: owen: scahn curt: skown. owen goes out to pick them up some breakfast from a coffeeshop or Wherever before a mission and gets them a couple of scones. He brings them back and calls them ‘scahns’ and curt is Appalled at that. they proceed to argue about the pronunciation of their breakfast until cynthia or barb calls to ask them why tf they haven’t even left the hotel yet. eventually they make it to their mission but the argument never stops. not until the end of the day. 

(the scone one is literally based on a recurring conversation i have with a canadian friend of mine)

Bonus: y’all know how curt’s from Texas? well i’m from the south as well (different region of the south, yes, but shhhh this is funny ok) and WELL. that opens up a whole new section of cultural differences, but the first one that came to mind was sweet tea. i hate unadulterated sweet tea so much but OHHHHHH does it make for a great headcanon. so i hc that owen is a tea over coffee type of person,, not just bc he’s british (though that certainly doesn’t help) but just because i feel that suits him more. And of course curt very much so makes fun of owen for drinking tea (a la when he mocks his accent at the top of the show) too. but one day curt’s like hey owen i made you some tea. totally harmless right? WRONG! he made sweet tea™️ and it might as well be poisoned bc that shit is sweeter than sugar itself (bc that’s practically all that’s in it). but owen doesn’t pay it any mind and accepts it as his boyfriend just doing something nice for him (though he does give curt a Look when he takes it). but curt knows exactly what he’s doing and waits for owen to taste it. the second he does he just. imediately gags and curls in on himself (yes it can be that bad when you’re not expecting it lol). curt can’t stop laughing. a few moments later when they both recover (kind of) owen’s just. shocked. absolutely speechless. he just sits there staring at curt with murder in his eyes until, “...what the hell did you just give me?” “sweet tea” “no shit, but this isn’t tea by a long shot. how much sugar is in it?” “no clue” “WHAT DO YOU MEAN ‘NO CLUE’?!?! YOU MADE IT!” “just bc i made it doesn’t mean i measured.” “WHAT??!?!” “that’s just how you do it :)” “NO??????” 

owen doesn’t forgive him for a week. he also doesn’t trust curt to make him tea (or really any drink) at all after that unless he can actually Watch him make it :)

There should have been either a filler arc or episode to get to know more about the thunder legion and each of their backstories. Especially Freed, I think his magic is really cool, and I like his character. 

Speaking of Freed, he is definitely related to princess Hisui. I like thinking he is her older brother, and when he was a teenager, he wanted to become a mage instead of becoming king, so when he was 18, Toma let him step down and join fairy tail, the last name Justice is fake. The thunder legion and Makarov are the only ones who know this. 

Gray, Bickslow and Gajeel paint their nails, fight me

Acnologia and Irene are alive.

Instead of killing Acnolgia, Natsu wiped him of his magic power and put it in a lacrima. It is hidden somewhere with the magic council, and no one can find it. After serving some time, Acnolgia becomes a grumpy travelling doctor. I like to think he and Porlyusica become acquaintances. It makes sense they both hate people and are magic doctors. 

Irene also serves a bit of time, and once she gets out, she lives in a secluded area in the mountains. She likes being alone and lives her life in peace. Erza is one of the only people who know where she lives; she visits her sometimes when she’s in the area, but their interactions have been awkward though both of them try to make an effort to slowly building a relationship. Also, the first time they actually have a proper conversation, Irene tells Erza everything and gives her reasons for it. It was a very sweet mother-daughter moment. 

Ivan Dreyar escaped and had his own small villain arc where we learn more about the Dreyars and Laxus’s mother. He tries to get a hold of powerful magic but fails and ends up dying but before he died him and Laxus had a moment where Laxus basically went “fuck you asshole.”

Dragon slayers have fangs, and they hoard/collect things you can’t convince me otherwise.

Dragon slayer magic has four different transformation levels:

The first one is where their pupils change into more of a slit, their teeth get sharper, and their skin becomes tough. Also, their muscles began to change, and they look more buff.

The second one is Dragon Force, and their skin turns into scales.

The third is where the transformation really hits. They grow horns, tails, wings, their eyes & teeth change. Their feet and arms also transform into claws or whatever, they still look human, but it’s harder to notice. This is the most Laxus and Erik can do because they are second generation. 

Fourth is full dragon transformation.

For the first few times, the second stage to fourth is very painful because their bodies aren’t used to it. The pain goes away the more they transform, and they can last longer. After the first few times, they need days of rest because of their bones and organs moving around, they could also develop bone issues but it depends on how often the form is used (mainly the second-gen ones because their bodies would have a harder time).

Some people will hate me for this, but once the dragon slayers hit the age of 18 they go through mating season and are away for about two weeks when it hits.

All the dragon slayers have this sibling bond after everything (Yes, that includes Erik) 

Social media exists, the guilds all have verified accounts, but no one knows who runs them.

Gray Fullbuster would start Twitter fights when he’s bored and lives for it, mainly with Lyon.

Magic council has an entire section dedicated to fairy tail, even a separate complaint department because they get so many.

The reason they haven’t forcefully disbanded the guild is because the guild has some of the strongest mages ever that are all about family and sticking together AND defeated Acnologia, Zeref & the Spriggan 12. Would you want to be the person to tell them they legally can’t be a guild anymore? I don’t think so.

There is a male version of fairy hills. Gajeel, Bickslow, Freed, Jet & Droy, etc., all live there. Gray’s house location is unknown, and he likes it that way though people suspect Juvia figured out where it is. Laxus also lives alone; I find he is the type of person who can’t live with people he isn’t related to/romantically involved with. Only the thunder legion and Makarov know where he lives. 

At first, Brandish doesn’t join Fairy Tail but tends to show up out of nowhere. Eventually, she does and moves into fairy hills. The guild tried getting Irene to join, too, but she refused because of what happened. 

Mest Gryder is dead. August killed him instantly. (I really do not like mest and have my reasons idc if you do like him) 

Evergreen would 100% paint the thunder legions nails, though not Laxus, because he ends up ruining her work which he feels bad about.

Evergreen has younger brothers and Bickslow is an only child

Also, the thunder legion has movie nights; they watch chick flicks and shit. 

GAJEEL WATCHES SOAP OPERAS, AND YOU CAN’T SAY OTHEREWISE. Lucy also watches them occasionally, and that’s how they become friends.

Because of the episode where Frosch gets lost, Sabertooth is in a city that isn’t very far from Magnolia, so members from each guild go visit each other often.

 Erza is Dyslexic and Natsu has ADHD, it just makes sense 

Sliver Fullbuster is alive, no one knows where he is though and he is always on the move. He sends Gray letters and he’ll go visit Gray if he evers in the area. They tried to get him to join the guild but like Irene he refused and thinks he’s better off as an independent mage.

You considered yourself quite the resilient person. Emotions got to you but never incapacitated you. Danger was a given in the career path you had chosen and the prospect of it was something you were used to, but never like this. It was always your own life you were worried about, but the BAU had taken the grasp you had on your job and your reality and completely redifined it.

Being guarded with your emotions and affections was a defense mechanism you had developed thanks to your experience in law enforcement. People always got hurt and you had to move on from it, that’s just how it was. But the BAU was the one to break the mold.

Those people had been through a lot together, the good, the bad and the ugly. They had seen it all and done it all, and now you were a part of it. They took you in and accepted you like you hadn’t just joined the team and you let them. Soon enough, Rossi was walling you “kid” and kissing both your cheeks when he greeted you, Morgan was fist bumping you when you made stupid jokes and you were going out to dinner with Emily, JJ and Penelope. Not one of them hesitated to put their life on the line with or for you, and it shook your world.

All of a sudden it wasn’t just yourself you had to worry about, because every person walking into burning buildings and hostage situations with you was your family. You loved every one of them and losing them scared you a lot, enough to feel like your heart was beating out of your chest whenever they were in danger.

And still, you had to go and fall in love.

Spencer had woven himself into your life, your routine, your work life and eventually your heart. It felt like he was marking his territory before he knew he was doing it, something resembling a person moving into your home, but the things he left behind were more than a toothbrush or a book. He left his mark in little things you incorporated into your life and it slowly transformed the both of you into a collage of each other.

He started drinking soy milk when you convinced him it was not bad and that subjecting himself to the pain of being lactose intolerant and still consuming milk, wasn’t worth it. You stopped leaving your windows open at night when he freaked you out about stray cats taking residence in your couch and potential burglars getting in. And those absolutely inconsequential things were forever going to be a gift you had given each other, no matter what came out of your relationship, even if you went your separate ways. Which, you never did.

Three years into working at the BAU, and two into your relationship with Spencer, you got married. The both of you figured that the wait was not necessary because you knew very early on that that was it, you were it. Next thing you knew, your fourth wedding anniversary was coming up, and so were many other things.

After getting kidnapped and shot, you were never the same. You had come to terms with dying, you wanted it to happen so you didn’t have to deal with the inevitable trauma that came with surviving, but you weren’t that lucky. Everyone had been worried about you and the living ghost look you were sporting. It looked like you were re living the situation in your head every moment you were awake, and that was indeed the case. It haunted you when you were sleeping and it consumed you when you were awake, so Hotch made you take a break.

Stubbornness was your thing, so he took away your badge any other form of ID that could get you into the building, he didn’t answer your calls and only texted your work cellphone to ask you to stop asking him to reinstate you. Being alone with your thoughts was hell. Having your family out there risking their lives without you was even worse.

“Hey Spence, it’s me again… um... could you let me know if you’ve been getting my texts? It’s just that… you never not text me back and I’m getting worried. Is that too much? I’m probably being ridiculous. Anyways, call me back. Or text. Just let me know you’re okay. I love you.” You sighed and put your phone down for what felt like the twentieth time in the last half hour.

This had never been the case. You were never the worried spouse that had to rely on phone calls or texts to communicate or to even know your husband was alive. It made you empathize with Will, with Haley. It made you want to ask them for advice on not going crazy. Your mind was already going rouge.

I can’t be a widow. I can’t mourn the love of my life, how does anyone? What happens if I lose him? How foolish of me to have dismissed this when we got married. We’re FBI agents, for the love of God. We point guns and have them pointed back at us for a living. I’ll have to take my ring off. Do I keep it? I can’t look at it if he’s gone. Who picks out the dress for the funeral? If I have to do it, I’ll go insane. I can’t bury him; I can’t go watch them lower him to the ground. I will just cremate him and split his ashes so his mom has him too. His mom. That woman won’t be able to bear outliving her baby. God, please pick up the fucking phone.

You: Honey, please text me back!!! Have someone text me for you, idc.

You: Spence, charge your phone.

You: Why is Derek not texting me back either?

You: Are you angry at me?

“Hi Penny, do you have any word on the team? I keep calling and texting Spencer and he hasn’t gotten back to me. It’s been like three hours.” You said, holding back the tears.

“Oh, sweet stuff. Last I heard, they were delivering the profile. They’re in Kansas and there was a tornado warning. The power is out. Maybe all of their phones ran out of battery.” She tried to reassure you, like always, already knowing what was happening in your head. “Is everything okay? Have you slept?”

“Not really. Spence stopped replying and I got anxious.”

“Don’t worry hun, bad news travel fast.”

“Yeah, yeah… you’re right. I should…”

Before you could finish your sentence, the door creaked open and you saw a defeated looking Spencer hang his jacket and take his shoes off trying to be quiet, assuming you were asleep. You felt the color come back to your face and you dropped the phone on the couch without even making sure you had ended the call.

“Oh, thank God.” You ran to him and aggressively hugged him. Much to your embarrassment, the tears you were trying so hard to hold back were now streaming down your face.

“Hey, hey…” He took in your appearance and instantly worried about you. “What happened? Is everything okay?”

“What the fuck happened to your phone? And everyone else’s for that matter!” You said, letting go of him and raising your voice without meaning to. Spencer knew you never yelled, so he was taken aback by your words.

“It died, ___, four hours ago, the power went out and the generator wasn’t working. Why are you screaming?” He rushed out.

“Because you never texted me back and I thought you were dead!” Your voice was a lot calmer now, much more frustrated and tired.

“Honey, I’m so sorry, everything happened so fast, I didn’t even think about my phone. I didn’t mean to make you angry; I promise.”

“I’m not angry, baby. At least not at you. I hate being here and not out there with you. I can’t sit around and wait for you to give me proof of life. it’s driving me insane and it has only happened once.” You groaned, choking back quiet sobs now. “I can’t lose you. I can’t be the last to find out.” You fell to the couch like your legs had stopped working.

Your husband was looking at you like he didn’t even think about that, like the realization had just hit him. You couldn’t blame him, neither of you were used to that dynamic of checking your phones because the one person you would want to update was always along for the ride.

“Baby, you’re not going to lose me. I’m so sorry, I promise I’ll care more about my phone. I didn’t mean to worry you.” He said, crouching to be eye to eye with you and taking your hands.

“No, no..I’m sorry. I’m being ridiculous, I went crazy. You shouldn’t have to do that…” You kissed his knuckles and slid down the couch to sit on the floor with him. All you wanted was to be near him. You put your arms around his neck and whispered. “I love you, I’m sorry I yelled at you. I was losing it. I’m not used to this feeling of not knowing where you are or if you’re okay, I felt helpless.”

“It’s okay hun, I get it, I love you too. We’re both new to this whole being-a part thing. If I’m honest, I don’t like it.” He pulled you to his lap so you were tangled up like a koala.

“I hate it. It 's the worst. I’m done with this break”

“Hotch is just looking out for you, he wanted to give you your space after the accident. You can talk to him and see how he feels about you coming back.” His reassuring words were already lightening the mood, and you were grateful he was fine. Once the adrenaline died down, the sleep you had been missing hit you like a ton of bricks. You stifled a yawn and planted a kiss on Spencer’s forehead.

“You’re tired. Let’s go to sleep.” He took notice of your droopy eyelids and went to stand up. “Have you been awake all this time?”

“Yeah, I couldn’t just go to bed.” You replied, removing yourself from his lap and taking his hand.

“Come on, let’s crash. I’m off tomorrow, we don’t have to wake up early.”

Fourth (and Final) Impressions of Deltarune Chapter 2

Edit: forgot to put a readmore. Forgive me! Spoilers under the cut!

- So I wasn’t even in the palace very long before we got to a series of puzzles that Berdly couldn’t solve, much to his frustration. I figured Berdly was building up to something, either a boss fight or a growth moment, and it was the second one. Turns out when you thrive off of praise, you develop a bit of a dependency... good on him to be self-aware.

- In the flashback sequence with the spelling bee, I noticed the word Noelle got nervous and stuck on - “December”. See, I remember another sequence in the city where we had a character moment with Noelle while pressing a series of switches that spelled out “December.” Clearly the word is significant to her in some way, and probably a negative way considering how it made her freeze up. Either something big happened in December, or something big happened involving a person close to her named December, since I remember her mentioning a “Dess”. I’m looking forward to where this goes.

- The theme in the Queen’s palace slaps, just gotta say that before we go further.

- So backtracking a bit, Lancer has been stone-ified, and Ralsei knows exactly what’s up: the dark fountains create worlds, the dark fountains that was sustaining Lancer’s world is gone, and that’s why Lancer is stone now. He’ll be fine, though, if we can get him back to Ralsei’s castle town and the fountain there. Good of him to offer a solution, except...

- ... hold the fuck up, Ralsei. So you’re telling me that this happened to Lancer because of the loss of his dark fountain - which Ralsei encouraged us to go through - and because of that, the Dark World that Lancer comes from is no more? And what’s more, Lancer now depends on the Castle Town fountain - that is, Ralsei’s fountain - to live. He is now life-bound to your town, Ralsei. He literally cannot leave you and still live, and even if he could, the world he knew is gone. Oh, but it’s ok, because you conveniently have a place for him to live under your roof now. 

- And, hold on, who was it who told us we had to go through the Dark Fountain to get home?? I played through the first chapter just recently, that was you, Ralsei. I definitely remember Ralsei saying we had to do that, he gave us that quest in the first place, and I definitely do not remember him mentioning at any point that this would end with Lancer’s world being destroyed. This is absolutely not fine, Ralsei. Oh, and considering how conveniently us getting isekai’d in the library lines up with Ralsei suddenly insisting we had to go and do homework... Ralsei, are you the one isekai-ing us???

- *deep breath* Okay. I’m calling it now. There’s something Ralsei isn’t telling us. I joked earlier about how he wants to bake us into cakes and eat us, but to be clear, I think whatever’s going on here is more complicated than “Ralsei was the bad guy all along”. I get the feeling that Ralsei’s desire for friendship, especially towards Kris, is very genuine. It’s just... this whole situation is reminding me of Asriel’s deal in Undertale. Fitting considering the whole anagram situation... I wonder how Deltarune!Asriel is going to play into this.

- Okay, back to more current stuff in the game. I met up with Roulsx Kaard (idc how to spell it) again and he’s facing me in... the thrashing machine I made in the first chapter. I’m serious. Same color and everything, holy shit.

- And again, we return from a Susie Sequence to Ralsei apparently explaining something to Kris and finishing with a variation of “so that’s why-” before getting cut off by Susie. What are you explaining, Ralsei.

- Checked a calendar in Noelle’s palace room. “Every page is the last month, every day is the 25th”... what??

- another banger of a final battle!! let’s do this!!!

- See, I had a feeling that the Queen didn’t actually want to hurt anybody, but she has a... funny... idea of what constitutes helping. It clicks with her being basically a personified search engine - she literally wants nothing more than to give people what they want and make them happy, but she’s not always great at figuring that out based on what they search. She mentions Noelle’s “sad and lonely searches”... Noelle, honey, are you ok?

- Excuse me, Queen, this Dark World was created *today*? ... And it was created by the Knight... and I already suspect that Ralsei is “isekai-ing” us... Ralsei, are you the knight?

- New important info: “Lightners” are apparently necessary to create Dark Fountains due to their determination, and unlike Undertale, determination isn’t exclusive to humans

- BERDLY!!! BERDLY IS PUTTING THAT REDEMPTION ARC TO GOOD USE!!!

- ...

... this game just became perfect

- Oh hey, White Diamond, what’s up?

- “Oh Damn I Did Not Know That” WELL NOW YOU TELL US, RALSEI!

- Susie doesn’t have a tail? Make up your mind, game!!!

- Phew. Okay. Okay. The actual game part is over. Time to process some thoughts...

- So we’ve seen two Dark Worlds so far, Lancer’s world based on games (cards, checkers, etc) and the Queen’s world based on computers and the internet. The running theme I notice so far is escapism. During her fight, the Queen monologued about a desire to fulfill the desires of people who turn to the internet to dull their pain or look for new distractions. And as for Lancer’s world... well, it’s implied to literally be made of abandoned toys. Both of them things people turn to when they need a little entertainment or escapism to avoid their real-life problems for a bit. And I think it’s been mentioned that Darkners are essentially made to serve Lightners; perhaps helping them cope with the difficulties of life? 

Even putting aside the symbolism here, Susie and Kris literally escaped to this world to blow off their classwork, and Susie in particular seems to think the Dark World is better than anything in the Light World. In the final battle, Susie, Noelle, AND Berdly were all just about to open up a Dark Fountain themselves and make themselves better lives in the Dark World and only stopped when Ralsei very firmly informed them about the Roaring. Is this going to come up again? Are these kids going to struggle with the temptation to abandon their real lives to go play eternally in the Dark World?

And isn’t that just a perfect microcosm of the relationship that people have with video games in general - including this one? The perfect opportunity to just forget about your own life for a bit and temporarily live in a different world altogether, one with battles and magic and adventure?

Just what the fuck is going on here, Ralsei? Was I too quick to accuse him of being a secret villain earlier? Is Ralsei just trying to get us to process our shit in the Dark World, and then destroy it so we move on to the Light World with renewed hope in life? .. or is he just trying to make himself the center of our fantasies?

- HOLY SHIT THE QUEEN IS HERE! THE QUEEN IS HERE AND SHE’S GONNA BE A MOM FOR LANCER!!! (or “girldad” as Lancer puts it)

- ...have the Queen and King met? I mean, it would make sense, but they haven’t been mentioned as having a relationship of any kind or even knowing each other. Is this another Toriel/Asgore kind of situation?

- So I’m just talking to NPCs around Castle Town, right, and I meet up with Seam again. He just told me to be careful not to stay in there too late and that I don’t want to get caught when the sun goes down... DAFUQ YOU MEAN, WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN???

- This is wonderful, I’m now witnessing Toriel and Sans having a joke-off in person.

- i actually liked drew. im so sorry to everyone who hates her but full offence, why. think about it this way ok, first of all drew became hc because silena died. silena was the traitor, the one who betrayed chb, yet after she died campers celebrated her as a hero? and then drew suddenly has to replace her and live up to idk that legacy she left behind,, when all of a sudden this girl named piper swoops in and takes her place. idk abt u but i wld be salty abt that too. not only that, but as an asian, the chances of drew having faced racism/bullying as a child is pretty high (she studies at brooklyn academy). which means that when she finds out shes a demigod, and arrives at chb where most of the campers are white (this is an assumption btw), she’d obviously be scared of being bullied for her skin color right?? so the first thing she wld do before the campers get to bully her is to bully them before they can do so. (sentence structure here is wack i apologize) ofc this might not even have happened, drew could have had a perfect childhood && was a b1tch for no reason, BUT EVEN THEN HER ROLE AS A BULLY WAS PRETTY VITAL BECAUSE THAT FURTHER SHOWED THE CONTRAST BETWEEN HER AND PIPER,, HIGHLIGHTING PIPER AS A HERO//GOOD CHARACTER,, AND THEREFORE MAKING READERS LIKE PIPER MORE. anyway stop hating on drew please. - travis and connor stoll r way too underrated. the two have been head counselors of the hermes cabin since luke was revealed as a traitor, can u imagine the stress? luke, the person they probably looked up to as a brother, betrayed them. and they didnt even have time to process this when they were  thrown the roles of being hcs. that would have been so stressful and i would probably have broken down if i were them. the stoll brothers taking turns to wake up at ungodly hours because a new camper is crying and homesick and terrified, the stoll brothers having to comfort and take care of new campers, having to deal with the amount of people in that cramped space because not enough campers are being claimed fast enough. having to resolve issues between campers in the hermes cabin all the time. the stolls arent just comedic relief, and we need to stop treating them as such

- carter kane and jason grace arent boring. theyre just really sweet boys who are too good for this world and yes yes yes 

- hazel and frank (especially frank) need to be hyped up more. i hardly ever see anything about them. also yall seem to forget that frank was literally made praetor and that even hecate admired hazel and was willing to fight beside her because of how powerful she was

- frazels age gap is kinda sketch but i still think theyre really cute

- annabeth isnt smarter than leo but neither is leo smarter than annabeth. ive seen a lot of discussions about who is smarter and heres my hot take on it: neither. theyre equally smart, just in different ways. leos a genius mathematically speaking. he has no issues solving math problems meant for people much, much older than him. annabeth on the otherhand, is great at strategies etc. she can make an army of 1000 more powerful than the enemy, even if theyre outnumbered. so in my opinion, both are equally as smart//u cant compare their intelligence, because their talents lie in two different areas.

- while i do agree rick riordan isnt a god and that hes bound to make mistakes,, AND that hes given us a lot of representation,, if the representation offends the people its sposed to represent, then theres a problem. im talking about piper as a poc and wearing feathers in her hair. im not a poc, so i cant speak for them on whether or not its wrong, because i dont know either. HOWEVER, i have seen multiple posts BY pocs talking about how they didnt really like rick’s representation of piper, and thats an issue. pocs have been and are still oppressed and discriminated against by many. as a white cis man, we cant really blame him for not knowing (tho he could have done a research,, asked some pocs,, idk), but by representing pocs in that manner, hes influencing impressionable kids/teens into thinking “oh pocs wear feathers in their hair all the time” etc, which isnt true. the pjo/hoo series is extremely successful, and kids who read the books will probably start forming inaccurate opinions on pocs. the amount of fan art that depicts piper with feathers in her hair dont help either. “but rick said so in the books, so its canon” yeah well rick isnt a god and he can get some things wrong at times. im not saying we should cancel him, im saying we should start educating ourselves and not spread false info like pocs wearing feathers in their hair all the time. also that snake song shit where she sang Summertime was just- yeah. bc heres the thing you can be racist, and still include minorities, but portray them in a racist way. And even then, ignorance isn't a thing to admire. Getting those facts wrong still has a major impact. It continues to perpetuate racist stereotypes.

- the fact that most of the strong female characters in the series refuse to be “girly”, and ngl i dont really like that. just because ure girly doesnt mean u cant be strong. 

- piper would have been a great way for him to start making the strong characters act girlier, but instead he went with the “I’m not like other girls” trope which is quite obnoxious to hear constantly, and I don’t think it’s necessarily great for younger girls to read that idea growing up.  the closest we've ever had to a strong female character who was also into "girly" things was Silena. when I was younger I admired Piper's "I'm not like other girls" thing, but then I got older and realized that the whole mentality of "not like other girls" is super obnoxious, and a little bit toxic
