My signature dish is deviled eggs. They’re always a hit at family parties. One problem: I suck at peeling the shell off the eggs. Every once in a while, I’ll get lucky with a batch that are easy to do. Usually, I either need my mom’s help or it takes really long. Any tips?

After hard-boiling and letting it cool down;

Crack the shell a little on the counter, then fling it into a lidded jar with about an inch of water.

Shake vigorously.

Now the peel will slide right off =)

it's so so so funny to me to see younger pokemon fans wailing about how "wrong" cheating to get pokemon is, because like. i come from the generation of pokemon where, unless you were incredibly lucky/wealthy, it was literally impossible to 100% a pokedex without cheating lmao

I still have ALOT to figure out and learn to make the finished product I want, not to mention learning rigging after, but I'm proud of what i've managed to accomplish so far!

how do i know if the eggs in my fridge have gone bad, or will soon?

Float 'em.

As an egg 'goes bad', gasses start to build up in the egg. That sulfur smell.

An egg that sinks to the bottom of the water is still fresh, but an egg that has 'rotten' gasses will float.

If it kinda gently bounces and slooowly sinks to touch the bottom while standing on end, that egg should be used ASAP, because it'll go bad soon.

we don’t have a lot of customers in my job, because our main purpose isn’t selling stuff to consumers, we’re mainly ‘selling’ to other branches, and administer their shifts.

so when i work in the front, and either the person with me is in charge of the phone, or there aren’t a lot of phone calls, i don’t really have anything to do,

so i started reading papers about malware on vxug, and its so funny cuz i’ll be like “ohh, yes, malware, kernel space, privilege escalation, hacking stuff” and then 5 seconds later be like “haiiii:3 welcome, do you need any help? we have these cool color changing candles if you want, these chocolates are really tasty<3”

it encapsulates the personality of so many trans women i’ve talked to, its hilarious to me lol!

Ramen Hack: If you want better tasting eggs with your ramen, boil the eggs and ramen in different pots. Or cook the ramen in the microwave and the eggs on the burner. Keep 'em separate and they will they taste AMAZE-BALLS! No bad egg taste

Another Egg Hack: Use a slotted spoon to lower the eggs in the pot so they don't crack! Eggs taste better boiled with the shell in tack.

merry almost christmas, remember that holiday movie Klaus that came out some years back with the gorgeous hybrid 2D-3D animation and the revolutionary lighting techniques and the varied and interesting character designs and the beautiful environments and the stellar cinematography, that no one ever talks about or even seems to remember anymore because the writing was so devastatingly 2000's direct-to-dvd disney sequel it somehow dragged the quality of this potential masterpiece down to "just kind of mid"
