“I’m dying,” you moan, dramatically draped across your shared bed. “My body hurts and everything feels hot.”’

She huffs and leaves her computer to tug on your shirt. “Come on. Up. You’re hurting because you’re still wearing your binder.”

You sit up, grumbling the whole way. “I am not. That’s a totally unrelated issue.”

You let her help take it off anyway, grateful for the way she immediately grabs a new shirt and slips it on you.

You flop back against the bed, huffing in discomfort. But you have to admit, it did help with the pain. You’re not telling her that, though.

You roll onto your side and gaze at her. “I’m tired.”

“So sleep.” She affectionately flicks your forehead.

“But I’ll be lonely without you.” You pout, a bout of shivers running through you. You burrow under the blankets, covering your head. It only helps a little.

Daisy says something, but you can’t quite make it out.

“What?”

She lifts the blankets. “I said, can I keep you company while you sleep? I can move my computer so you won’t be lonely.”

You don’t hesitate, not even for a moment. “Yes!”

You scoot over, making room for her. She gives you a shrewd look. “This was your plan all along, wasn’t it?”

You give her a grin. “Maybe. It worked, didn’t it?”

She sighs and grabs her computer. “Cheeky little bastard. You’re lucky I love you so much.”

Your grin only widens. She gets comfortable next to you on the bed and you snuggle into her, tangling your legs with hers. “I am lucky. I snagged the most badass woman in all of SHIELD.”

Daisy laughs and leans down to kiss your forehead. “Oh? You think I’m badass?”

You lean up to catch her lips with yours. “Always.”

omg i knoowww it was a little meta but it's crazy the dynamic would have me in shambles. i tried to write a tiny drabble but i only got one paragraph i really liked so i deleted it, but i can imagine shy reader getting really upset and jelly since obvs rafe's bestie is a pretty, confident girl and poor girl really struggles with that. not to mention topper and kelce are always talking about how kook trio reader used to sleep in his bed and hang out with him alone !! shy reader would be a mess. rafe would have to reassure her so much n fuck her until she stops overthinking

however i cant handle any angst so in this universe kook trio reader ends up with jj (classic !!) and rafe meets shy reader and theyre both perfectly happy <3

Adding to your theory and the fact P seamlessly steered a freaking submarine near the beach sequence, i believe it was just Carlo's memories guiding through what I asume it's extremely complicated maneuvering. Now the Pistis/submarine is a nod to tge Dogfish 🤔 where according to book analysis it represents the symbolic "descent to the underworld" in Pinocchios journey. Could it be that it was the place where Carlo died/was murdered before being thrown into the sea? 😢Just a thought

I've been thinking about this a lot lately mainly because I do it so I needed your opinion on it. Little phantom watching grown up tv and Dew gets so jealous when they're regressed together and Phantom gets to snuggle in between Mountain and Aurora to watch the crime documentary but Dew gets shooed out by Rain and Swiss to go play something far away from the tv. He's too little to understand that this doesn't scare Phantom and he actually prefers it over cartoons that can't keep him interested. So he'll be sitting there, paci in his mouth and his hand holding one of Mountain's fingers as he watches some guy go to court for homicide all while being completely little.

dew would feel so lonely sitting over in the corner, the poor bubba. the other ghouls always make sure that at least of them are with dew while the crime documentary is on, though. otherwise he gets too jealous and sad and makes himself sit through the whole thing with phantom just to prove the others wrong, even though he gets really distressed from the show.

but, just like you said, phantom loooves crime documentaries. the first few times he sat down in front of a crime documentary the others immediately switched the channel to cartoons so as not to distress him, but then had to give him fidget toys and snacks to keep him interested. after a lot of begging on phantom’s part, the others let him watch an episode, and miraculously he barely wiggles the whole time ?!

i love the idea that he’ll sit snuggled up to aurora and mountain, holding onto mountain's big fingers with a paci in his mouth, completely enraptured by the crime scene laid out on the screen in front of him. perhaps he even requests a sippy cup of cranberry juice or strawberry milk because it’s red/pink and looks a bit like “dat cool blood on da screen, mounty!”

We're going out and about! :3c We have all had enough of being cooped up, housebound, and trapped; there's an enormous world out there to see, and experience first-hand, and we're all much braver together like this than we would be trying to go out alone. We like shopping! Even just window-shopping! It's just nice to be out, existing! We all like pointing things out to each other, making little comments or scoffing about strange decor, and whenever we can swing it, I always try to make sure Sun and Moon get to bring home at least a little something that they chose for themselves. I know pretty damn well what it feels like to live in a place that can never really be your own-- but it's not like that anymore, and I want to make sure that they always feel like our home is our home, you know? None of us are in a cage anymore, and sometimes the best way to celebrate that is by going out and collecting tchotkes to decorate the house with! (Moonie and I also like to people-watch! Sun enjoys it, too, but he has trouble sitting still for too long, so he tends to get antsy pretty fast if we're not doing anything else, too. Me and Moon, though? Two bumps on a log, as long as we've got company! It's just nice to feel real, and see the world moving around you; but with you as part of it, you know? We can join in if we want, and that choice is the most important part.)

Aiden: 100% already knows, and he’s counting down the days until Louise’s contract is done so his job can go back to being normal. Secretly though he’s rooting for them (Logan is a lot easier to work with when he’s less…. pent up)

Salima: she thinks it started before it actually did, so she’s been making sly remarks to Louise and Logan that neither of them understand. She’s happy for them and could see them in a full time relationship, but she’s going to let them figure that out in their own time

Gabriel: oh he haaates it, his ego is so bruised from the whole situation. Because of that, he lives in denial for a long time but eventually comes around. When him, Salima, and Logan start having coffee together again (and when a new IT employee starts), he’s actually the one pushing Logan to make it official instead of doing “whatever nasty thing you’re doing”

Katie: finds out afterwards when the gossip finally hits the rest of the bullpen, and she’s riding her “I told you so” ship into the sun. Everyone finds her insufferable, but hey she was right

Felix: doesn’t know about the relationship or what day it is, doesn’t care, couldn’t be bothered

Nadine at the admin receptionist desk: picked up vibes when Logan stopped coming by her desk for some innocent flirting when Louise showed up, annoyed about the whole thing because now she’s bored at work again
