One thing I haven't stopped thinking about is that scene where Ed and Stede dine and dash and we get that glimpse as they run off giggling. Because really, more than the hopeful reunion, the soft confessions, more than the anger and bitter jabs, that moment was a glimpse into who they'll be as a couple.

Just a couple of chaos gremlins doing whatever the fuck they want and giggling the whole time, because when they're together the rest of the world fades away, its just them and their silly little whims.

People talk about Batman: The Animated series. And sure, it had some good episodes (I still remember the Two-Face one). But you know what's better? The 1960s Batman show. Burgess Meredith as The Penguin, Cesar Romero as The Joker, and Frank Gorshin doing an amazing Riddler. It's villians were amazing! And above and beyond, it even managed to make Batman and Robin somewhat likeable! Which is a rarity for me! I still rooted for the villians, but I didn't hate Batman and Robin.

Also: Bring Aunt Harriet back into the comics! Madge Blake was a great actress who was unappreciated in her time. We need to bring Aunt Harriet back in honour of her memory. In fact, all batman comics should read like episodes of that show. That show was peak batman, and I don't see why comic writers of the 70s seemed to struggle so hard against it. Screw you, Denny O'Neil. You should've let batman stay fun!

CHARLOTTETOWN - The 22-year-old leader of a group protesting changes to P.E.I.'s immigration rules says he's lost almost 15 pounds since he and other immigrants started a hunger strike outside the provincial legislature a week ago.

Rupinderpal Singh and a number of other protesters also stopped drinking water on Tuesday to draw attention to their cause, a desperate move that he said has yet to prompt a response from Premier Dennis King and his Progressive Conservative government.

"This is the only option we were left with," Singh said in an interview from the protest camp, where 21 people had gathered on Thursday afternoon. "We are here because unfair decisions were made .... We want our voices to be heard." [...]

Hello dear audience! Music Meister here, I’ve come to tell you about the time before Basil and I met, me and Edward where together, everything started with my plan to get everyone under my control by projecting my voice through satellites, when that failed and I was sent to Arkham I met him, he thought my ideas were not too bad and that he could work with someone like me.

After that first scheme we begun to know each other better, our dislike for certain things, the amount of passion we had for some other stuff, we mixed both our brains and styles together to form a power couple! He was my favorite mastermind and I was his favorite diva.

But then things started going a bit south, you see…Edward has always been too…stubborn? Too strict on the way he wants things to be done, and sometimes that leads him to discard most of the ideas others bring him, because and I quote “Not everyone matches my intellect darling” and after our little moments together he got back to being his stubborn self and not accepting that I too have some good ideas you know? So we started doing things on our own, but then again as I mentioned before our plans started getting all too similar to the point we got in the way of each others schemes on accident, and you know Edward, his “perfect” little self can never be wrong about things.

Dusk was starting to settle as Bear crossed the bridge back to his own railway. In spite of how often he made the journey, Bear never felt right on the Other Railway, even after they’d disbanded back into separate railway companies.

“So you’ve been to Sodor before?” Bear asked his passenger.

“Once, but it was decades ago.” The diminutive tank engine smiled. “I don’t think you were here when last I visited.”

Stepney the “Bluebell” Engine had visited Sodor once before - soon after being preserved on the Mainland, in fact. His time on our railway was full of surprises, and he was excited now to see how much had changed since then.

“There’ve been a lot of changes since the ‘60’s,” Bear continued, “but you’d probably be surprised at how much’s stayed the same.”

“Probably,” Stepney chuckled.

A shrill, cheerful whistle cut into their conversation.

“Hello, Bear!” Edward called out. “Welcome back, Stepney!”

“Stepney?!” Duck yelped, and wrenched on his brakes.

Victor chuckled, and rolled his eyes at the Pannier.

“‘Allo again, Edward!” Stepney called as he and Bear passed by.

“Edward’s enthusiasm is one thing that’s remained a constant, I see.” The terrier smiled to himself.
