your art is so wonderful! its so expressive and colorful and joyful and never overworked. your compositions also really blow my mind! if youve ever recorded any timelapses or if you ever would like to elaborate on your process ever, i would love to see it + would pay money to. have a good day!
Hi! I apologize that it took me so long to get to this ask! Thank you so much for this incredible and kind compliment!! :') <3 I enjoy having fun with compositions and everything else and I'm glad you like what comes out of it!
Thank you for being interested in process! I haven't been answering for so long because I couldn't come up with a good answer... I have never recorded any timelapses and don't intend to in the nearest future. Also every time the process looks differently, haha..
But I compiled potentially interesting pictures (for free) - under cut :)
one fun thing I do quite often is that I begin something on paper and then complete digitally. Doodling in textbooks and sketchbooks was the beginning of many stuff
This Seri process is one of my favorites, he was born from leftover green food coloring that I splashed and smeared over pages. Then I begin my favorite game of searching for shapes and letting them "grow" naturally from what there is.. if that makes sense.
From those little monsters that were born during classes then appeared compositions, because having some starting point is helpful to me, even if it gets completely lost eventually.
I don't have a scan and use the imperfection of phone pics for my advantage, sometimes it creates additional texture or interesting colors after little bit of editing.
This one took longer than most of other works. (dont go after me for unrealistic architecture)
I was struggling to come up with compostition for the cathedral so again beginning with a doodle of a random arch helped. and in the end there's an infinite "yeah now it's finally done" *spends a couple of hours more*. on screenshot these are all versions I thought would be final and I sent them to look at on my phone and immediately went to fix something else :P
Beginning from a detail isn't a classic way to build a composition, and usually it's reasonable to start from defining big shapes, and that's what I do often. There are just different approaches of creating compostitions that I like using. Starting from a piece and shaping the rest from there helps me find something I maybe wouldn't have thought of doing otherwise. But it's very important to always hold a big picture in mind of course! After looking at a piece of doodle for a while, I have an approximate picture in mind of how I want to use it.
With digital doodles I usually do lineart immediately without sketching it first, then I can edit or erase it or blend with colors. Have fun and be yourself is the only rule
thank you again <3 I hope it was helpful!

So, I usually read acotar on the bus and during class and then I come home and write these posts but I had a Certified Mental Health Moment and couldnt go for the entirety of last week and I didnt feel like reading during that time, so yeah
Anyway, Ive made it through chapter 30 I think (sry i forgor and i dont feel like taking the book out of my bag rn to check) so Ive just gotten to the point where Feyre arrived UTM through that weird interdimensional (?) shortcut and then a hand grabs her and then the chapter ends. That means Ive finally had my proper introduction to my literary mortal enemy, the man, the myth, the legend, Rhysand Nolastname, and also Feyre's sisters as actual characters instead of the weird caricatures they were previously
The stuff with Nesta and Elain is honestly baffling to me, like was there not an editor to suggest maybe adjusting those first few chapters when she decided to flesh them out more? One of the acotar critiques I watched before reading was this one by a podcast called Unresolved Textual Tension and one of the hosts kept remarking that sjm "couldnt go back to change things" in reference to her constant retconning of characters with very little elaboration, but like, why? First of all, I dont think thats literally true; to my knowledge (which is admittedly limited so feel free to correct me here) sjm had her start on fiction press with the first throne of glass book, posted serially chapter by chapter, which got really popular and was then traditionally published in 2012, but every book after that was always intended to be published as a whole work went through the whole traditional publishing pipeline with editors and whatnot. So the issues with ACOTAR cant come from it being a serialized story that wasnt properly planned out and then wasnt fixed up in editing, right? And the only other thing I can think of is that she just didnt have an editor (or atleast not a very thorough one) which, people say that a lot of her more recent work (CC series, ACOSF) feel unedited because of how they drag and how often the prose seems to repeat itself and by this point shes popular and influential enough that Im pretty willing to believe that, but was she that popular back in 2015 from TOG alone? Idk if anyone can tell me anything about this I would appreciate it
I already have a lot of thoughts about Rhysand (spoiler alert: none of them are positive) but I think I'll save those for when we get to Those Scenes UTM. For now, I just wanted to ask all the Feylin girlies who read this book before ACOMAF came out or who went into the series without spoilers: didnt it feel incredibly weird that Rhysands beautifulness was so emphasized when, as far as you were aware, Feyre and Tamlin were meant to be endgame? Like, I think Feylin is cute and all but Im not really too invested in it because I dont find either of them on their own or their dynamic together that interesting, but it still felt a little disrespectful if thats the right word. Like, I know love triangles are a Thing in YA and I know they tend to be incredibly clear-cut and its usually very obvious whos gonna get the girl from the getgo, but in those cases the protagonist generally has some kind of actual relationship with The Bad Boy to justify a weird attraction to an obviously dangerous guy, in ACOTAR Rhysand has talked to Feyre exactly one time and then he sent over a head on a spike and here she is, talking about how indescribably beautiful he is while hes making her friend and the man she will claim to love in the next chapter go down on their knees to beg for her safety. Idk man it just feels so weird

88 Days/Silver Compass headcanon on how Sun helps with Mercury's redemption?
RWBY Ship Headcannons #72: 88 Days, Redemption Edition!
In the days after Salem's defeat, people are lost on both sides - the villains mostly, Mercury being one of them. Merc gets knocked out and his legs short-circuit, so he's stranded and abandoned by his own side out in the desert.
Scout teams (composed of CVFY, SSSNN, JNPR and NDGO) go out regularly looking for stragglers for weeks after the battle, and it's on SSSNN's outreach that Merc is found! Specifically by Neptune and Sun. Neptune is not keen on helping him out too much - just escort back to Vacuo, minimal medical help, then prison - but Sun's more willing. He offers to carry Merc back to the city himself.
While in the set-up medbays, Merc complains about needing extra food. It's no lie; he's hungry as hell, especially after almost eating sand before the guys found him. He considers stealing some himself but the leg situation makes that complicated. But, next time he wakes up, there's a couple more plates of servings for him at his bedside, with a little note from Sun saying he overheard and pulled a string or two.
They start talking while Coco and a couple of other mechanics start on Merc's legs. Mostly for distraction, also for company.
Sun is massively sympathetic learning about Merc's semblance getting stolen and what he did to his father. He tries to cheer him up with jokes and party tricks. The only one that gets a laugh out of Merc is one where Sun somehow manages to replace a banana with a note without disturbing the peel.
After that, it's much easier going. Merc loosens up a little. He lets himself laugh more, only a little, and he opens up about his likes. Of which he has few, but Sun can elaborate! He's great at that! Just ask his teammates!
The linchpin is when Merc is finally able to walk around a bit. For exactly ten minutes, Sun gets to give Merc a tour of the rest of the recovery camp. It's late and cool so his legs don't overheat. Mercury thanks him for helping him get around and keeping him company. Sun smiles, full teeth and all sunshine, and tells him he's a good guy. And something about the way he says it...yeah. Mercury can believe that.
Once he's all fixed up, Merc expects to be sent off to prison for...y'know, war crimes. Imagine his surprise when a bashful Sun Wukong hooks an arm around his neck and says he's taking on his rehabilitation case himself.
(Emerald also put in a good word. They're still besties, after everything.)
Thanks for the suggestion! Remember ask box is OPEN for Ship Summaries, Headcannon Requests and Ship Trials!

I had a dream I was making posts for this blog and organizing everything and it was really elaborate for some reason. I changed the URL for reason to hyunjin highlights? Or something but changed it back cause it didn't make any sense. Then I made an edit with NCT as characters from the show W.I.T.C.H I feel like no one but me remembers that show. I made it like a full theme song. And someone sent an ask saying W.I.T.C.H wasn't a dark show and thinking I was Netflix winxifying it, but I posted the actual theme of the show and it was indeed dark. Then like that I was instantly transported in a live action version of Winx where I was Taranee and the actress who was Clare in the Derry Girls and Penelope in Bridgerton was Irma. We were coming back from the other realm to Will's house, me and Nicola as Irma were matching I think we were like best friends and all the girls had a sleepover at Will's and while we were doing each other's hair and nails when an alert that a man who killed the governor was on the loose. And we heard something in the basement. So we called like these guys were between the cops and military like cops but with better training. And half of them went with Will, Cornelia and Hay lin the other half went with me and Nicola as Irma. We went to the basement and I realized the dye in my hair had completely changed my hair texture it straightened it so I had to wash it out and Nicola went to help me. The men stayed there. While we were washing it out my hair was dry as heck (which actually happened when I did a color remover Friday) while we were doing that the guy who killed the governor chased us out the house and we were running and he kept getting mad we were running the wrong direction and I said are you mad were running from people who would kill him. So I ran toward the house where all the men were standing and he shot me in the arm. And this guy with long dark hair who looked like Clinton Cave from Chase Atlantic caught me and held me while the other men attacked the guy who was chasing us. The guy who held me asked if I was okay and I said yeah and he said "do you want daddy to take you to the hospital?" and I said yeah and we got into their van, he held a towel on my arm while holding me and saying how soft my hair was. I don't know why he said that and I don't know why dream me liked it.

đŠđȘđ„žđ!
hiii beck!! Thanks for the ask!!!!!!
Edit from 1:20am: I"M SO SORRY. I STARTED (AND FINISHED) ANSWERING THIS 30 SECONDS AFTER YOU SENT IT AND THEN I GOT DISTRACTED MAKING FUN OF THE WOKE GAME LIST PEOPLE.
đŠ- Talk about a time when you made yourself laugh or cry?
Hmmm. I cry like, 3x a year max, and almost never over fictional things (no empathy gang, rise up!!) so that's probably a no go. But I can do laugh!! Here, I'll give you an excerpt from a dnd writing and one from my "real" writing. For dnd writing, nothing will ever top these two reveals, the first of which was 100% improv on my part. Btw, these happened on the SAME DAY. Rook was determined to give Sigmar a heart attack, it seems. (As an added bonus, he told Zara that he had died multiple times by saying "I told [Warren] that I would either end up dead or back in [Wolf's] hold. Turns out it was both." so this man has a GIFT for scaring the shit out of his mentors, lmao.
For my "real" writing, the only thing I have a whole lot written for is ATQH, which I haven't touched in like 3 years. But I gotta say that this line still makes me laugh. "No I'm not!" Yeah? Are you sure about that, buddy?
continuing under the cut because I talk too much.
đȘ- How do you feel about writing fight scenes?
So, I think I'm really bad at them. But I got nice responses to my attempt at writing one for Carrion here. I actually have more that comes after that point, but I felt too iffy on the actual intense combat part to share it. I've done my very best to avoid ever having to write them for my Rook writing by starting just after the combat, but I can't do that forever, and I'd love to actually write compelling fight scenes someday. So basically just, I need to practice them, and I probably think I'm worse than I am.
đ„ž - Which character is most like you?
Almost certainly Theo from CoS. We're both autistic animal lovers who don't like conflict or physical touch. And I guess we're both also Not Cis, although I do still use she/her pronouns. Most of my other OCs tend to share more extreme versions of my worst traits, so making Theo share some of the more neutral things about myself was a nice change of pace.
đ- What writing software do you use? Does it work for you?
For my serious writing I use(d) Scrivener, and yeah, I love(d) it! The ability to have all my scenes be separated, but still all in one technical document is exactly what I need, especially since I write out of order. For my dnd writing, I use google docs, mostly because I want to be able to share with the DM of Rook's game easily. Unfortunately, it's the most convenient way for me to do that. I do also keep character notes and worldbuilding scattered in both Milanote and Notion. I have a pretty elaborate character page setup in Notion that I'm quite attached to, and I love it dearly. (Even if I never remember to update it.)

Impromptu Review
Thanks for editing this one goes to momirene and Worldsover, and for helpful beta reading feedback from them and one dork who wants to remain anonymous.
Tags: TheLounge, Red Velvet, SNSD (Girl's Generation), Joy, Sunny, loneliness, potential traumatization of cats, a hoard of hell-themed sex toys, a strap on, a butt plug with Jiu's face in it, and bisexual problems.
The front door of Sunnyâs apartment swung open so fast that Joy felt a breeze from the vacuum it left behind.
âJoy! Youâre here!â
Joy blinked. âYeah, I said I would come over.â
âItâs been so long since weâve met up! Come in, come in!â
âItâs only been like a month though.â
Sunny grabbed Joyâs hands and pulled her through the doorway. âIt feels like so much longer than that!â
Joy smiled and took her shoes off in the entryway. âYou seem more excited than usual.â
âWhat? How so?â
âWell for one,â Joy said, pointing at the kitchen, âIt looks like you prepared for a whole party in here.â
The kitchenâs island was covered in plates of snacks and several variations of alcoholic beverages. Additionally, Sunny was noticeably sweaty, like she had just run around the house preparing for guests. Joy figured it would be best not to bring that up.
âWhat? No. That? Thatâs⊠yeah, thatâs a lot of food, isnât it?â Sunnyâs posture drooped, as if sheâd already expended all of her energy on her greeting.
Joy pulled her into a side hug. Her height served to straighten Sunny back up. âWhatâs going on, girl?â
Sunny sighed and leaned her head on Joyâs chest. âI dunno. Iâm just excited. Havenât had a good social night any time recently.â
âAw! But what about these cutie kitties?â
Sogeum popped her head out from behind the wall and gave Joy her signature droopy, grim stare without so much as a meow. As soon as Joy shuffled in her direction though, she turned and went back into the living room.
âWell, you know. Canât really have a real conversation with the cats.â
Joy hummed her agreement and stepped into the kitchen. âIâm always happy to talk to you Sunny. They donât call SM a family for nothing.â
Sunny groaned, loudly.
âUm. Okay,â Joy said when Sunny didnât elaborate. âNot a family? Just a bunch of really close friends?â
âYeah, thatâll work better. Not a fan of the family motif.â
Joy picked up a cracker and chomped down. âGonna⊠explain? Family is normally a positive thing, isnât it?â
Sunny grabbed a bottle of wine and yanked the cork out. âYeah, totally, for sure. Hey, do you like Chardonnay?â
âIâŠâ Joy didnât want to skirt around whatever issue Sunny was having, but was well-aware of her stubbornness. âI sure do.â
As fancy glasses of white wine were generously poured, Joy made note of Sunnyâs slow, unsteady movements. She worried that perhaps Sunny had already started drinking, or wasnât getting enough sleep.
* * *
âCan you believe that, Joy?â
âNo way. Itâs just inhuman.â
âCompletely! Itâs not like green onions are suddenly more expensive to dry out!â
The conversation had started with gossip and cheese snacking when the sun was high. As the sun set, the discussion shifted to the price of instant meals, and the snack plates were all but empty. Joy had to fight the constant urge to fall asleep, as the topics were never much more interesting than that. But she let Sunny lead the talking as much as possible.
Joy was simply relieved that Sunny called her over before diving into her liquor storage. âYou should start a petition to regulate the price. Iâd be the first to sign it.â
Sunnyâs tipsy grin matched Joyâs. Though the alcohol consumption had been slow-going, they had been doing it for several hours. âOh that would be great press. âWashed up idol upset with ramen manufacturers.ââ
With an exaggerated roll of the eyes, Joy pointed at a set of boxes in the corner of the living room, currently being used as a lookout tower by Sogeum. âYouâre not washed up yet. Look at all of those sponsor gifts. Those werenât here last time I came over⊠Wait, they werenât, were they?â
Sunny giggled. âNo, theyâre, uh⊠new.â
Their corporate sponsors werenât something that Joy, Sunny, or any of the other SM idols discussed often. There were usually so many vying for their attention that it was pointless trying to keep track. But Joy reasoned, somewhat drunkenly, that talking about it might be therapeutic to someone so down on their social status. âWho are they from, anyway?â
A blush deepened the red of Sunnyâs already tipsy-glowing cheeks. âUh⊠Nobody. Just a regular sponsor, ya know?â
Joy grinned. âOh, come on. You can tell me. What am I gonna do? Call a press conference to tell the tabloids whoâs contributing to your paycheck?â
Sunny rolled her eyes. She shot off the couch, spilling a drop or two of her wine in the process. From Joyâs naturally higher perspective, Sunny didnât seem that much taller. âFine,â she said, wobbling, âbut you better not make fun of me.â
âIâll make fun of you for other reasons, like how much I love you, bitch!â Joy blinked at her own shouting. She didnât know when the alcohol had hit her, but she was beginning to think that she was a little more intoxicated than she previously thought.
Thankfully, the joviality in her voice seemed to encourage Sunny to play along. She set her wine on the coffee table and picked one of the smaller boxes off of the pile. âDisclosure first! We havenât agreed to any deals yet. They sent me this stuff to try to convince me to shill it. I didnât reach out to them.â
Joy waved the disclosure off like a mosquito, but Sunny still tossed the box in her direction. The weight inside of it was awkwardly distributed. Joy attempted to catch it, but it wound up ricocheting off the tips of her fingers and nearly knocking over an open, mostly full bottle of soju.
âThe fuck is in this thing?â
âIâve got some ideas but I just know who itâs from. Open it and find out.â
Joy tore into the box with no regard for the care that went into the packaging, which itself was surprisingly discreet. A smirk cracked her lips when she thought about what sorts of deliveries required such discretion. But the smirk faded right away when she got a view of the inside and realized that the packager apparently had the same idea.
Inside was a pair of plastic sheets wrapped asymmetrically around a roughly water bottle sized blob of blood red silicone. A small bit of pink cardboard advertised it as a five-speed, rotation-simulating, self-cleaning, pattern-switching, USB-charging, automatically-lubricating, remote-controlled vibrator with a speaker at the bottom for replicating a set of desired moans and a specialized charging dock.
Joy cleared her throat and stared at the horrifically fancy dildo, and its label, âDanteâs Dive,â unsure if she should toss it back to Sunny, considering it was clearly a personal item.
Sunny reached into what was left of the box, procuring a pretty little decorated card. âDear Ms. Lee, we at Second Ring Inc were very pleased to hear your impromptu review of our products on a recent episode of âWelp, I Guess Weâre Talking About This Nowâ and wished to send you some additional items to show our appreciation. These are in no way a request for further public review,â Sunny was briefly interrupted by Joyâs disapproving snort, âbut should you be interested in a partnership, we have included a phone number at which I, the chief executive officer, Lee Youngjoon, may be reached. Optionally, my username--â
Joy missed a few words as she was shocked by the extreme sound emitted by the vibrator when she pushed a button on the remote control.
â--is âworldsoverâ. As you know, Second Ring specializes in sexual wellness products, of which weâve sent you a wide variety. They can be enjoyed by couples, or can serve as a fantastic outlet for power singles like yourselfâŠâ
Sunny trailed off. Joy was afraid she knew what was coming. âDamn, Sunny. You say so much as three words on national television and they scramble to get right up on your ass, eh?â
It was too late. Sunny was already tipping up the bottom of the soju bottle. A few drops spluttered back out of her mouth as Joy pushed it back down. âSunny! Youâve said it yourself! You donât want to get married!â
âDoesnât mean Iâm not still lonely!â
Joy wrapped her arms around Sunny. âYouâve got me. And a million other friends!â
âFans donât count.â Sunnyâs voice was partially muffled by Joyâs shoulder.
âOuch. Time for me to delete my Sone club membership. But fine. A hundred other friends. Itâs not just me. Itâs my members. Your members. And plenty of others. All of NCT would be--Okay, nevermind. Aespa though! They love you too.â
âBut I don't want to inconvenience you." Sunny ended so matter-of-factly that Joy had to pause to process the short conversation.
"You know how⊠You know how you take a road trip, and there's a road block, or really bad construction, and you have to take a detour?"
"Yeah. I'm a detour."
"Come on, Sunny. What you are is the scenic route!â
There was a long silence.
âWas that the end of the metaphor?â Sunny eventually asked.
âI am very drunk.â
âYouâre not that drunk.â
âDrunk enough to be shit at metaphors.â
âItâsâŠâ Sunny extricated herself from Joyâs hug. âItâs okay. I think I know what youâre getting at, and I appreciate it. Itâs just that a few words donât really fix a brain, you know?â
Joy nodded slowly, watching as Sogeum casually stalked across the room. âYup. But believe me. Iâm here for you, at least. So if you need a friend, or some company, Iâm at the top of your list.â
The cat plopped herself on the floor, right up against Sunnyâs leg. Joy giggled. âFuck off, kitty. I just said I was the top.â
It seemed the topic of conversation was ready to change. Sunny smiled, and it was enough to indicate her understanding.
âSo!â Joy moved things along. âA pile of free, top of the line sex toys in your living room. Whatâs a young woman to do about that?â
Sunny snorted. âWell Iâm not going to masturbate while I have company over, thatâs for sure.â She grabbed another box from the pile and handed it over, doing her best not to disturb Sogeumâs new resting place.
The new box took mere seconds to open, this time revealing a black silicone butt plug with a red gem in the base. The casing suggested that a picture could be inserted beneath the gem, and it appeared there was one already there as an example. Joy had to flip it around to a variety of angles before she could make out that it contained a headshot of Dreamcatcherâs Jiu making finger hearts on her cheeks. She cocked her head, wondering if the image had actually been authorized.
Another box swapped between the womensâ hands. It took Joy a little longer to open than the last, but it turned out to be that way for a good reason, given that it was gently holding some fragile cargo: A red-tinted glass bottle of lube, labeled as âJuice from the Fruit of The Tree.â The lengthy product title had a snake winding through the letters.
âWell now theyâre just really doubling down on this theme, arenât they?â Sunny asked as she worked out how to open the next package, using her bottle opener as a makeshift knife.
Joy laughed and picked up yet another, now eager to see what kind of wild object it would contain. âYeah, they really are! No lie, theyâre starting to give me some ideas. Talk about sinful.â
ââOh I know,ââ Sunny mocked the company, as SM artists often did, fingers still struggling to find their way under the first cardboard flap. ââLetâs send Sunny a whole pile of sex junk. Bet sheâs sinful enough to use it all.â Like, come on Love-eye, or whatever your name is. Whatâs a single woman gonna do with all this? Hold up a pillow fort?â
âHey, maybe he doesnât know youâre single. Maybe thereâs some stuff in here that takes two to tangle with⊠Fuck. Choerryâs got me using alliterations.â
Sunny barely managed to get her fingers inside the box, but her knuckles were turning white from the tightness of it. It seemed that she had left a portion of the packing tape uncut. âI said I was single on the show, though. I donât think there will be any couplesâ toys in here.â
âOooh, Iâm gonna make it a bet now.â Joy smirked. Her next sentence bypassed her verbal filter through the holes left in it by the alcohol. âIf you get that thing open and thereâs a strap on inside, you have to fuck me with it!â
A jerk of her arms snapped the remainder of the packing tape. Sunny chuckled. âYouâre on. Thereâs no way it is.â
Joy had to admit that Sunny had a point, considering how small the package was. Surely it couldnât fit a series of leather straps, or a dildo any larger than a couple of inches in any direction. The little voice in the back of her mind that told her making such an offer was stupid quieted down somewhat.
There was a moment of quiet. Sogeum rolled away from Sunny and made her way to the kitchen. Joy picked up another box, confident that she hadnât just placed herself in an awkward situation. Sunny shook her head, amused. And thenâŠ
âJ-Joy?â
Joy looked back, but wasnât quite sure what she was looking at. It was a sort of mass of black string with some silver discs hanging off of it. Another piece of pink paper fluttered to the floor, where Joy picked it up and read aloud.
ââThe Obol.â As Charon ferried Dante across the Styx and into the hole that is Hell, so too shall this state-of-the-art magnetic harness ferry our exclusive Danteâs Dive dildo into your⊠partnerâs holeâŠâ
There was more to be read, but both women seemed to get the point. The only sound in the room came from Sogeum chomping through some hard cat food in the kitchen. Slowly, their eyes raised and met. They both spoke at the same moment.
âThat was a betâs a joke bet right?â
Their drunken minds needed a moment to detangle their words into distinct sentences. Sunnyâs âThat was a joke, right?â and Joyâs âA betâs a bet.â
Sunny started again first. âYou know, we donât have to.â
âI will if you want to.â
Every sentence being exchanged was followed by a palpable stillness. Joyâs heart beat loudly in her own ears, and she swore she could hear Sunnyâs too.
âDo you⊠want to fuck me with that, Sunny?â
Sunny answered instantly. âYup.â
There was a flurry of action, though it was slowed here and there by a tipsy stumble or two. Sunny gathered up an armful of the items on her coffee table, both sex toys and the bottle of soju, and sprinted for the bedroom. Joy rushed after her, messily attempting and failing to remove some of her clothes on the way.
Sogeum was spooked by the sudden kerfuffle and fled out of sight.
The bedroom was no less hectic. Sunny dropped everything on the bed except the soju, which she took one more swig of directly from the bottle before setting it dangerously close to the edge of her desk. She wiggled out of her shirt and bra, which attracted Joyâs attention instantly.
Joy struck at Sunnyâs cleavage, wrapping her fingers as far as they could go around the legendary orbs, and her lips around one of the budding tips. Their differences in height made it awkward, but they very soon found their way to a horizontal state that eased that tension. Unfortunately, it was not on the bed, but on the floor, but they werenât about to let something like that stop them.
What clothes they were still wearing exploded off their bodies. Joyâs shorts and shirt, Sunnyâs pants and socks. All of it ended up in different sections of the room, thrown under and over furniture.
Joy was no stranger to encounters like this, and neither was Sunny. They had shared countless stories with each other⊠and some spit. But neither had considered their prior make out sessions to be precursors to explicitly sexual action. For her part, however, Joy considered this one differently, and Sunnyâs hands searching half-blindly for Joyâs ass confirmed to her that Sunny thought the same.
Backs arched. Legs ground against one another. Open mouths met, trading the alcoholic scents that the women no longer cared to distinguish. Their minds had devoted themselves entirely to the search for physical pleasure.
A lot of exploratory prodding led Sunnyâs fingers to the entrance to Joyâs pussy, failing to notice the number of pokes that ended up at Joy's exit. She took some time familiarizing herself with the drenched outer folds.
Joy, however, noticed the poking at her ass. Her mind swam with serotonin, thoughts of other people, and alcoholic fumes that seemed to rearrange the letters of her thoughts into nonsense. Or possibly into inspiration.
Inspiration relevant to the happenings at the prior year's award shows, that is.
Joy tried to pull back the moment Sunnyâs fingers dipped inside her. She had opened her mouth to speak but instead groaned and arched herself further into Sunnyâs grip on her sanity. "S-Sunny. B-bed."
At least that message was received loud and clear. Sunny dragged her fingers against Joyâs G-spot as she, disappointingly, pulled them out, nearly causing Joy to scream. The same fingers plunged into Joyâs mouth and quieted her as she diligently sucked her own juices from them.
The action transferred to the bed. Fingers immediately found their places again, and Joy bounced on her back in time with Sunnyâs brutal shoves. Packaging bounced all around them. It was like a desperate, distracted game of Vegetable Shinobi for Joy, swiping at the jumping dildo. Sunnyâs fingers were divine, eye-wateringly so, but Joy wanted something unholy.
Sunny muttered Joyâs name, catching her attention again. She lifted her head to meet for yet another imprecise kiss. Their legs twisted around each other. Joy could hear the desperation in Sunnyâs moans, vibrating all the way down her throat, burning like the alcohol. She snaked a hand between them and found Sunnyâs clit.
The moans freed themselves as Sunny bucked backward, almost out of Joyâs longer reach. Joy noted the exceptional reaction, and flipped Sunny onto her back, following immediately and putting herself in the position of power Sunny had initiated.
âYouâre gonna fuck me with the strap on⊠right, Sunny?â
Sunnyâs eyes widened, and she grabbed the toys.
âNo, not yet,â Joy stalled in her most seductive voice. She slid down, nearly falling off the bed, and wrenched Sunnyâs legs wide open with her elbows.
Sunny clenched her fingers around the hell-themed dildo for dear life. Joyâs name poured through her lips over and over again as Joyâs lips poured over her pussy.
Joy had to fight Sunnyâs strength to keep her spread thighs from clamping around her head. She wanted to keep hearing her senior beg, loud and clear. To that end, she dug in her tongue, unable to penetrate far, but far enough to open Sunny up and feel the wetness flow into her mouth.
âPlease⊠Joy⊠Iâm close⊠Joy, please! Joy, donât stop!â
The thought flitted through Joyâs head, that perhaps denying Sunny her orgasm would be fun, but something about the way she said it made Joy wonder if Sunnyâs neediness was rooted in her loneliness, more than in her desire to get off. She shifted herself to wrap her arms under Sunnyâs legs and pulled. It wasnât possible for them to be any physically closer than they were, but she wanted to make it feel like they could be.
Sunnyâs voice cracked, choked, and broke into a scream. Joy winced as her tongue was squeezed uncomfortably, but she wasnât about to stop. The back arches, hair grasping, and pained gasps that followed were worth it.
Joy kept it up until Sunnyâs body fell back down and her muscles relaxed. Only then, she removed herself to ask, âNeed a break before my turn?â
A smile crept up Sunnyâs mouth. Her fingers tightened around the dildo she still had in her hand. âGet⊠back down here.â
If there was any benefit Joy appreciated most about idol training, it was recovery speed, and Sunny still had it. Joy picked up the strap, quickly figuring out how it was supposed to fit and sliding it up Sunnyâs legs. The motion doubled as her approach for another make out.
Of course, Joy was still immensely horny. Her interest in making out with Sunny was overshadowed by her desire to get fucked savagely, but she had the wherewithal to hold out, to let it happen naturally. She was always good at letting others take the lead. Whether they led from the top or from the bottom didnât especially matter to her.
The alcohol made her more impatient than usual though. She forced herself to wait for the five-speed pounding sheâd get, but she ground herself against Sunnyâs leg in the meantime. Thankfully she didnât have to wait long. Sunny threw her to the side and attached the vibrator to the unusual strap with very little trouble. Joy fingered herself as she watched.
âFuck, yes, Sunny. This is going to be so goo--â
Sunny practically tackled Joy. Their lips collided again, strap hovering somewhere between Joyâs legs, but not close enough for her to feel it.
The moment she did, though, Joy grabbed Sunnyâs ass and pulled. The lack of accuracy was made up for by the inhuman amount of lubrication present; both Joyâs and the curious synthetic compound that the dildo exuded seemingly of its own volition.
It was almost too much for Joy. The dildo was certainly longer than any she had used before, and bottoming out at full speed meant it hit her rather painfully in the cervix. She hissed, but otherwise just readjusted her legs in Sunnyâs way to prevent the same thing from happening so easily again.
The strap held the dildo in place on Sunnyâs body well. Despite its genuinely small frame, it seemed to prevent all wiggling. Every one of Sunnyâs movements, including the less delicate, more intoxicated ones, translated to sensations that felt to Joy like a biologically attached dick, albeit with a plethora of extra features.
"You're so pretty, Joy," Sunny said. Even though she was doing all the work now, she wasn't nearly as winded as before. Knowing sheâd affected Sunny made Joy grin into another kiss.
âNo you,â Joy said with a smirk. She knew this would be good, but she truly underestimated how great it would be to see Sunnyâs famous tits jiggling with the effort of fucking her. The sheen of sweat covering them would ensure the night wouldnât be forgotten, even if Joy had another drink or two.
Joyâs first orgasm struck quickly and unexpectedly. Her breath stopped and a shudder spiked through her body from her core to the tips of her toes and fingers and head. The ability to think normally left her for a brief moment. She only kept the fleeting question of whether or not Sunny was able to feel Joyâs climax. Stars popped in and out of existence, obscuring Joyâs view of Sunnyâs fantastic body.
It all faded relatively soon after, but it wasnât enough for Joy. As soon as her lungs refilled, she screamed, âMore! Sunny! Fuck me! Fuck me! Oh god!â She was practically numb everywhere, except for every square inch of her that the dildo rubbed, slid, and vibrated against. Her arms and legs wrapped around Sunny on their own.
Joy, eyes half closed, barely registered when Sunny slowed down to grab and open the extra package. She did, however, notice the sudden prodding feeling at her asshole.
âSun--â
She couldnât even finish Sunnyâs name before something slipped its way into her butt. Her vision cleared up enough to see that even while she continued thrusting, Sunny had one hand tucked between them, and it was the source of the extra intrusion.
A couple more thrusts though, and Joy was lost to the pleasure again. She started to pant instead of scream or moan, or perhaps she was whimpering, or speaking fluent Polish. Joy couldnât have said one way or the other. Another orgasm hit. And another. And another. She knew some time was passing between each one, but whether it was seconds or days between no longer mattered. Her mind was fading out of existence.
Until, that is, it wasnât.
With seemingly no provocation, Joy suddenly remembered Cheungae. She had been meaning to talk to Sunny about him before they had gotten drunk. Her mind wandered, far, far more than it normally would during such intense sex.
Cheungae had taken her out several times since their first, less-than-professional meeting at the MAMAs with Wheein. Even though Joy knew he was struggling financially, he always insisted on paying for coffee, but would give up if he saw the bill when Joy took him to some of the much higher end restaurants.
He was always so polite, genuine, and humble. He didnât even question when Joy told him they couldnât be in a relationship, but instead insisted that they could be friends. Joy wondered if it was fair to him that she was treating him as a boyfriend in every way but name while she was still having a grand old time fucking everyone else in the industry. Cheungae knew about it, but wasnât part of it.
And yet, sex with Cheungae made Joy feel good. Great, even. She could recreate the sensations in her mind for days afterward. His slim, toned figure hovering over her, his face contorted beautifully in adorable agony, his admittedly mediocre cock managing to hit her just right with every move. She couldnât stop picturing him.
Another orgasm smashed through Joyâs illusion. The mental image of perfectly human Cheungae was instantly replaced with the very physical image of god-like Sunny. As tended to happen, Joy held her breath as the climax coursed through her. Her muscles contracted until she was holding Sunny in a deathly grip.
âF-fuck. Sunn-ny. Slow⊠slow down.â
It seemed that the request was desperately needed by both lovers, because rather than simply slow down, Sunny fell over. Joyâs pussy immediately craved to be filled again, but she knew she needed to clear her head. And besides that, she still had an odd full sensation. When her muscles relaxed enough for her to move of her own volition, she reached beneath herself and recoiled again at the feeling of a drenched butt plug. Her fingertips carried a puddle of mixed cum and lube back up.
âIâm sorry⊠Joy⊠I think thatâs all I have left in me,â Sunny said between gasps.
Joy made note of her own throat and how dry it was. Whatever sound she was making while she borderline hallucinated, sheâd be regretting it for a while. âAll good. I was losing my sanity. That was unbelievable.â
Sunny giggled. It sounded painful. âThe vibrator⊠or the surprise plug?â
Joy giggled back. âThe plug was definitely a surprise. Was that the one with Jiu's face in it?â
âMhm.â
âCool,â Joy sat up, her head swimming in the aftermath. âBut I just think it was you using the stuff that made it so good.â
Sunny seemed invigorated by the compliments. She smiled and reached under the bed, making some noise and bringing up a bottle of water. The two of them swapped it back and forth until it was empty and then collapsed into one another, idly feeling each others' bodies up the whole time.
âDoes that mean youâre up for another⊠night like this? Or day?â Sunny asked as she fondled Joyâs tits. It sounded like she had sobered up, at least most of the way. Joy was too afraid of what she would see to look at a clock.
âYou fucking know it,â Joy responded while she brushed her fingers up and down Sunnyâs inner thighs. It was a reflex for her to agree, but she cringed inwardly as soon as she did, realizing how much more sober she had become herself, and how she wished she wasnât. She was thinking about Cheungae again.
There was a barrage of light kisses all over her face, neck, and chest. Sunny looked far too happy for Joy to feel okay about retracting her statement.
âMaybe not right now though,â Joy said, just in case Sunny was already getting ideas. âWe should really get to bed.â
She didnât hear any arguments. They simply got up, and only long enough to flip up the duvet, flinging all of the remaining sex toys off, and jumped underneath.
It took a minute for Joy to realize she needed to remove the surprise butt plug. It was easy enough, and she ended up tossing it to the floor without looking at it.
Joy wrapped herself around Sunny. She was usually the big spoon, not that it bothered her. Sunnyâs bare back felt comfortably hot against her chest and stomach. Cheungae liked being the big spoon too. Heâd swap with her all the timeâŠ
âHey, Sunny?â
âMmm?â Sunny was on the verge of sleep, it seemed.
Joy lowered her voice, barely above a whisper. âHave you ever thought about⊠Settling down, I guess? Just being with one person?â
She didnât expect Sunny to have an immense store of wisdom, but she hoped for more than what she got: a snore.
âGood night to you too, Sunny.â

Okay so I think I'm pretty solid on my Katelyn backstory for my rewrite so I figured I'd share it. I say pretty solid and I'll probably edit it or do something funky with it in like a week but here you go
I was really torn on wether or not I wanted to give Katelyn the menphia relic and I'm still not positive about it but here's what I've got so far. Okay so this really out there and all that but it ties Elizabeth with hyria and the Demon Warlock so I think it's pretty cool
Liz in my rewrite is a witch that trained under Hyria during the times of Irene, something idk the full thing yet but Irene was looking for people to wield her newly made relics and because Liz was the apprentice of hyria she was top of that list, but because she was friends with Micheal/the demon warlock she wasn't given the relic and instead it was menphia. some tai lung and master shifu type shit breaks out, her and hyria get into this big fight about how Elizabeth didn't deserve the relic and it's this whole big thing
This is the event that broke the relic that was used for the jury, this is also how Liz was put into the other dimension with her ally Micheal
Years later something happened that reopened the portal, I haven't decided what yet, but Liz and Micheal are free they go and cause some chaos, this is where Travis and Katelyn come into play. They still don't meet until season two, but their stories are somewhat similar
Katelyn is Elizabeth's attempt at making the perfect host for the relic, the training until her bones broke and all that, the constant use of fire magic that burned her from the inside out kind of stuff. Erik has fire magic and Liz is a witch from the human wyvern war, so she was really hard on Katelyn and all the training stuff because she wants Katelyn to wield the relic to spite hyria and the dead divine warriors who started the war that killed her wyvern friends
It never happens, hyria finds out about the Katelyn training and the magic experiments and fights liz again, this time putting her in the hands of the elves so they can keep an eye on her and keep her away from her children
Katelyn is sent to her father but stuff happens Liz escapes and goes after Katelyn again, the house gets burned down, Liz wants to fill Katelyn with rage a fire her own harsh training hasn't been able to do, to help her wield the fury relic, she sets the house on fire effectively killing everyone and making Katelyn believe it was all her fault and all that, really just giving this kid more trauma then what she needs
(later you find out Kasey's alive and working for the king of tula but that's not until season three)
Garte was already sent a letter by Erik to ask to train Katelyn to use her magic for good (this is before he gets manipulated by shad and Zane). This is also how Katelyn ends up in okhasis and this is the start of the jury trials, I also wanted her to know garroth and the romeave brothers before the events of season one, she doesn't know them well but at least they've interacted
I want her being a compatible relic holder to be a big plot point, she was trained from a very young age to be it's keeper but that just makes her not want to use it, it's this whole thing and I haven't made up my mind if I want her to use the relic or not yet, so yeah. I'm currently leaning towards Lucinda wielding the relic as of right now
This is all I got so I hope it was understandable, sorry I'm typing fast and don't feel like re-reading this. I'll probably elaborate on this whole trainwreck when it's not midnight
#minecraft diaries#aphmau#mcd#mcd rewrite#katelyn the firefist#elizabeth aphmau#can you tell i love Elizabeth being a shitty parent?#i have really obscure ideas for all of the jurys backstory so stay tuned#i also just really wanted to connect katelyn and Lucinda im sorry#i already have this little scene planned out where kate and aph go to hyria for the first time and hryia literally thinks she's liz#i also really wanted a secondary reason why katelyn isn't fond of irene#because her mother has veen telling her about all the stuff she did from a very young age and all that#this is also why it takes her a while to fully trust aph again after they find out she's the reincarnation of Irene's magic#i hated how there wasn't a Katelyn backstory so I made up my own#the only people katelyn tells all of this to is ivy and vylad#she later tells Travis Laurence and lucinda but that's about the extent of those who know#she's just such a cryptic and vague character that literally no one but this obscure group knows what her parents were like

Thank you @darkangel699 for tagging me! Talking about writing, which is actually my favorite thing to do.
Where do you publish your work?
My fic is on AO3 and FFN. I'm slowly trying to get it all copied over to AO3 because FFN is just a disaster. I have two original short stories on AO3. Someday, I'll have another answer.
What medium/application/etc. do you write in or with?
Mostly scrivener.
Do you collaborate with others?
dulce-de-leche-go and I wrote a dark Voldemort wins AU together, and it was really fun, but every other time I've tried to collaborate with someone it hasn't worked out.
How much editing do you do before you publish?
I used to use betas for fic, and proofread. Now I mostly run anything I write to share through Grammarly and call it a day.
I do multiple drafts of original stuff before sending it off to be rejected lol - massive developmental retreads. polishing of characters arcs. Adding of foreshadowing. So much.
Do you listen to music when you write?
no
How do you decide what to write about?
My brain itches me until I write a thing down.
When do you write?
Usually in the mornings. Right now, I take my kid to weight training, sit on the lawn outside, and write or edit.
How often do you write?
As often as I can. Preferably every day. In my dream world, I'd have hours every day to only work. If I don't write for too long, I get squirrely and weird in a bad way.
Do you take requests? Why/why not?
Yeah, in theory, but I don't have a lot of time for fic right now, and am sort of out of fandom. Someone sort of randomly sent me four prompts via asks, and I'm still a little confused how that came out of nowhere. I don't even know them. Very confusing. Might do one of them anyway if time burbles up.
Is there any genre or type of story you want to write but are hesitant to?
Nah, I have no shame. If I want to write a thing, I'll write it.
Any inspirational quotes, videos, tricks, articles, etc. that help you stay motivated?
Write 100 words, get up and do 10 small tasks. Like... very small. Putting one dish away counts as a task. After two hours, you have 1500 words and a cleaner house.
Go to page 7 of your WIP, skip to the 7th line, and share 7 sentences.
I'm actively unhappy with this project, but...
âI have a box of pamphlets you could take down and put in the historical societyâs office,â Dr. Muñoz said. âIf you want.â
Addie did.
âAnd someone donated a book on 19th-century fashion for the book sale. You could bring it upstairs to look at.â
Addie loved clothes. In elementary school, she and Lauren had made elaborate costumes for their dolls, studying first old pictures of dresses and then, when those were too confusing, old patterns.
Tagging: @medievalfantasist, @naarna, @pedlimwen, and also anyone else into it. I can't think of names right now.

Can I request an arrange marriage au with the prompt âPlease just kiss me already.â With Hawks?
thank you for the request!!
âł takami keigo x reader â âwingsâ
event: au prompts summary: the hero commission wanted you to marry hawks for their own gain. itâs hard for you to accept the loss of freedom but will you gain feelings for him? word count: 7k tags/warnings: drama, fluff, angst, tw kidnapping a/n: um this got a bit out of hand i donât know what happened edit: i most definitely used the wrong dialogue prompt đ i fixed it tho pls excuse my dumb brain
Hawks experienced few freedoms in his life. Since he was young he had been under the hero commissions thumb. It didnât come as a surprise that they would control this part of his life as well.
Of course, the hero commission would want to ensure their greatest weapon would live on through his bloodline. Hawks wasnât sure what to think, he supposed that it was in his best interest not to think about it. It wasnât like he had a choice.
The ground rules were pretty simple, he was to publicly âdateâ you for a time, then eventually propose and marry you. It didnât have to be a big spectacle but just enough that people didnât question the legitimacy of the marriage. You didnât have to like each other, you didnât have to get along, you didnât even have to live in the same house for all they cared. The only thing the commission wanted was for Hawks to have children with a similar quirk if not a better one.
Hawks shoved it down but the thought made him sick. It was all too easy to remember how they had treated him as a child, took his name away, his identity, they took everything from him. They expected him to have a child and let them do the same to his own blood?
He pushed away the thought, he had no choice. He had no freedom.
You were in a similar boat with Hawks. Your family had given you up when you were young and you had a strong quirk. The commission was more than happy to take you in and turn you into a hero. Your quirk was best suited to rescue work, once they trained you and sent you off into the hero world it was easy to forget that they had you under their thumb. It was rare that they asked anything of you other than to go on certain missions.
That was until they called you in one day and told you their plans. It was hard to accept. They wanted you to marry a man you had never even spoken to just to have children they could train into heroes. It revolted you but you had little choice, the hero commission was too powerful and there was little you could do.
Hawks was handsome, youâd give him that. He stood leaning against a wall clad in a black jacket, white shirt, and dark jeans. You watched as he looked down at his phone before he glanced around the area looking for someone. His gaze caught sight of you and a look of recognition passed through his eyes. He called out your hero name as he stood up straight.
âHey, fancy meeting you here.â He said with a charming smile. You thought to yourself that in another life you might just be a normal girl meeting a normal guy for a normal first date. There would be butterflies in your stomach as his golden eyes met yours.
But this wasnât that life. You were someone being forced to marry a man you didnât know. There were no butterflies, just numbness.
âAlmost like we planned it.â You said but there was no playfulness in your voice.
âHeh, yeah.â He said rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. âI got you these, I know that these arenât normal circumstances but that doesnât mean I canât get you some flowers.â
Hawks held out the flowers, it was a small bouquet but it was pretty, wrapped in brown paper.
âThank you, thatâs thoughtful of you.â You said with a small forced smile. You hated the circumstances you were in but you had the feeling that Hawks was in a similar position as you were so the last thing you wanted was to take it out on him.
Dinner was awkward, for all Hawkâs charm in the media it seemed a romantic dinner was enough to throw him off. You couldnât blame him, you werenât used to dating. You didnât have the time to waste on it.
You couldnât say that you hated Hawks, his awkwardness was surprisingly endearing. A part of you wished you could pretend it was your choice to be with him and throw yourself into the relationship but you couldnât bring yourself to feel anything.
âI know that we didnât choose this but I hope we can make the best of it.â Hawks said as you walked out of the restaurant. You looked at him standing there, his crimson wings behind him folded. It was hard not to admire them.
âLook at those wings. Stunning. You could do whatever you want with them. Fly off, anywhere, nothing could stop you. Yet you're here with me.â You said looking at him carefully. âThe two of us, powerful heroes but all we really are is two birds locked in a cage.â
âI guess thatâs just how it is.â He said his lighthearted demeanor gone.
âYeah, I suppose so.â
Rationally you knew that it was in your best interest to get to know Hawks. That would only make your life easier, accepting what you knew you couldnât change. You felt bad, you knew that Hawks was trying his best to go with it despite his lack of experience with relationships.
He gave you gifts, they were surprisingly thoughtful considering you didnât express your interests to him. He texts you a lot, little things throughout the day. It was oddly endearing and you respected the fact that he didnât give up despite your lack of interest.
It was a late night, you were over at Hawks apartment for dinner. He invited you over asking for your opinion on a case he was working on. You knew that he used that as an excuse to have you over but you still went with it.
His attempt to make you dinner was valiant even if you had to step in to keep him from burning the place down. It was the thought that counted.
Sitting down in the living room with him, you sipped on a glass of wine. It was rare for you to drink often considering you were always on call as a hero and you assumed Hawks was the same with how tipsy he was after a glass. Not that you could point fingers because you were the same.
âIâm sorry, youâve tried so hard with me but I can barely manage to smile at you.â You said it seemed the solution to your numbness was at the bottom of a glass of wine. âIt was so easy to pretend that I was a normal hero, that I went to a school like everyone else, like I picked my hero name like everyone else, that I had a childhood. But this, us, it makes it impossible to forget. Itâs in my face every day that I wake up, every time that I see you. I canât lie to myself anymore.â
âI accepted that I had no freedom a long time ago.â He said looking at you with sad eyes. You had never seen him look like anything other than the carefree hero the people saw. âThat Iâm nothing more than a weapon for people playing games that I have no interest in.â
Even without him elaborating you knew that he had been through much more than you had. Your heart sunk in your chest.
âI understand how youâre feeling. I donât want you to feel like you owe me anything, you have enough pressure from the commission.â He said looking serious. âItâs just when I met you I thought that even if this wasnât my choice it didnât mean that it couldnât be a good thing. Iâve been alone so long, it might be nice to be lonely together. I canât think of anyone else who could understand what weâve been through. It will take time but I think we could be happy.â
His words hit deep in your chest. It was too much. The wine, the feelings you hadnât felt in too long. That look in his eyes just shouting at you that he needed love, he needed anything other than the hurt he had felt his whole life. The scariest part was how everything you saw in him you saw in yourself.
You stood up taking a shaky breath.
âI donât know if I can be that for you.â You said, tears welling in your eyes. Without another word, you walked out. The cold air of the night felt good against your flushed skin. You tried to forget just how sad his honey-colored eyes looked as you walked out.
It had been days since that night and you felt bad. You wished that you could just accept things like he had but every time you thought about it you felt like you were giving in. You knew you had no other option but you still wanted to hold on to the one shred of freedom you had left and if you gave in what did you have left?
Hawks had texted you like normal since that day but you hadnât replied. You didnât have a good excuse, you just felt so overwhelmed.
âPro hero Hawks was hospitalized today after a fight with a villain. The winged hero came out as the winner but was injured badly-â The voice of the reporter filled your ears and you looked up at the screen watching scenes from the fight play out. You flinched as you watched him take a particularly hard hit.
Without thinking you stood up and left, rushing to the hospital that he was in. Thankfully with your status as a hero, it was easy to get in to see other heroes at the hospital. Your heart pounded in your chest, it was complicated between the two of but it didnât mean you werenât concerned. In fact, you were surprised at just how scared you were. You couldnât push away the sick feeling in your stomach.
Opening the door you peeked through to see him laying in the bed, he had bandages around his head and some that went under his hospital gown. He was asleep. You turned to find the nurse that was taking care of him.
âHeâs pretty banged up but heâll make a full recovery.â She said with a warm smile. âWe can release him tomorrow if he has someone to stay with him, he needs bed rest and help with his bandages. Do you know if someone can do that for him?â
âI can take care of him.â You said without hesitation, your eagerness surprised even you.
With the knowledge that he wasnât on his deathbed, you could relax. You stepped in quietly, pulling a chair up to his bedside. Watching the rise and fall of his chest was surprisingly relaxing. It took you a moment to realize that his wings were gone. Your heart rate spiked again as you panicked.
Had he lost his wings? Why would the nurse have not mentioned it? You stood up, placing your hand on his shoulders trying to lean him up to see what had happened.
âHello to you too.â Hawk's voice startled you and you jumped back. âI have to say thatâs a unique way to wake up. One minute Iâm passing out after a fight and the next I have you tossing me around.â
âI was not tossing you!â You defended. Only Hawks could wake up after a fight and not hesitate to start teasing you. âI was just checking something.â
âOh really?â He said. âI donât have tail feathers if thatâs what you were looking for.â
âI was not.â You said folding your arms. âI just didnât see your wings, I-â
âMy wings?â He laughed. âI should have known you only wanted to marry me for my quirk.â
There was a playful look in his eyes but there was a sad truth to the words. You appreciated his humor, trying to make the best of your situation.
âIâm just teasing.â He said before sitting up slowly. He grunted in pain and you reached out to steady him. You watched as his wings, well a smaller version of them spread out. It was kind of cute. âOnce my feathers get destroyed it takes a few days for them to grow back. Just give them some time.â
âOh. I didnât know.â You said relaxing. âIâm glad youâre okay.â
âMe too.â He said with a smirk as he laid back.
âThe nurse said you could go home tomorrow.â You explained. He quirked an eyebrow. âIâll be here to take you home tomorrow when they release you.â
Hawks raised both his eyebrows in surprise but didnât articulate it.
âOkay.â He said.
âDid you want me to get you food?â You asked. âI know hospital food is the worst part. Well, maybe not to the worst part of being here but itâs pretty bad.â
âYou donât have to.â He said. You thought he would take your offer up right away.
âLet me rephrase that, what do you want? Iâm getting you food regardless.â
âOh.â He paused for a moment. âUm, I like chicken.â
âAlright, Iâll be right back then.â You said with a nod. âHold tight.â
You convinced yourself it was the guilt you felt for ignoring him the past few days driving you to dote on him but you knew that was a lie. There was something about seeing him hurt, that period of time where you didnât know just how bad he was hurt or if he would make it. It made your stomach flip. You didnât like it. It made you want to take care of him, it was an unfamiliar feeling.
On your way back from getting the food you stopped to get flowers, you werenât sure if he liked them but you figured the gesture was nice enough. You spotted a small round bird plushie, you could resist getting it. There was something about it that reminded you of Hawks.
When you got back to his room he was now sitting up with the beds help watching TV. News reports showed his fight, replaying footage of it. You watched him as he carefully watched the screen.
âThat was a pretty tough fight.â You said setting the food down on the table before rolling it in front of him. You grabbed his food out for him. âMakes me glad Iâm a rescue hero, I donât fight villains very often.â
âIt can be rough sometimes but nothing beats the feeling after youâve won.â He said looking at you.
âEven when you pass out right after?â You teased.
âYeah, even then.â He said with a small laugh. He watched as you placed the flowers at his bedside. âThose are really nice, thank you.â
âCanât compare to all the ones theyâve gotten from the fans. But you bought me flowers so I thought it was my turn.â You said. âOh, and I got you this. Iâm sure you arenât a fan of plushies but I couldnât resist. Looks just like you.â
You handed him the round red bird and he took it with a smirk on his face. He held it up inspecting it.
âIs this what you think of me?â He asked facing it towards you.
âYeah, the resemblance is uncanny.â You said with a straight face. Hawks laughed, not just a chuckle or a dry laugh, he gave you a genuine laugh. The way his eyes lit up made your heart skip a beat. How could he look so handsome with all those bandages on and in a hospital gown? It wasnât fair.
Hawks let out a grunt of pain from his excessive laughter.
âIâll take that as a compliment.â He said after he calmed down.
Sitting down the two of you ate watching the news report on various things. You would talk here and there about different things. It was odd how things felt so different just in the span of a few days.
The next day you went to the hospital to pick up Hawks taking him back to his apartment. While it was probably nice for him to be out of there and at home the downside was the pain medication they gave him was weaker leaving him in more pain than before. He tried his best to put on that charming smile of his and play it off but you knew he was suffering.
When you got him home you helped him into his bed, setting him up with whatever he needed at his side. You tidied up around his house even though it was pretty clean. You wondered if he had a house cleaner or maybe it was just because he wasnât home very often. Maybe he put those feathers to work.
Around the late afternoon, you started working on dinner, chicken soup. You knew that he wasnât sick per se but it was still a healthy dish that would help him recover. You ate with him in his room, cleaning up after dinner.
Once you were done with that you figured his bandages would need changing. You had all the supplies you needed to do so and you were familiar enough with first aid. Your nerves were still through the roof. You knocked on his door before entering.
âI figured youâd want to change them before bed.â You said holding up the roll of gauze you had in your hand.
âThat would be nice.â He said sitting up from his position leaning against the pillows with a wince. He turned off the TV leaving the room in silence. A part of you wished he would have left it on so you could distract yourself with something.
You watched as he tried to pull his shirt off, you looked away but glanced back when you heard a grunt of pain.
âHere,â You said grabbing his white shirt from the bottom and pulling it over his head. It took everything in you to keep warmth from blossoming in your cheeks.
It sounded like a simple task, trying to stay professional as you took his bandages off revealing his lean, toned body but in reality, it was a lot harder than anticipated. You did everything you could to keep yourself from looking flustered, you just knew that he would tease you endlessly if he caught on.
Placing the bloodied bandages aside you grabbed the fresh ones. You carefully examined his wounds, making sure that they looked like they were healing right. The gash in his side was deep but looked like it was beginning to heal, the skin that spanned his torso was different shades of purple and black. You winced just looking at it. It made you sad, it had to be hurting him even while he wasnât moving yet with the way he smiled and teased you it didnât seem like he was injured this badly.
Gently, you wrapped the gauze around his torso turning your head when you had to get to close to him. You could feel his eyes on you, watching your every move carefully. It made you nervous, you tried not to mess up what you were doing.
Once you finished with that you moved to the gash across his forehead at his hairline. His golden locks had fallen forward and in front of the wound. Soft as you could manage, you brushed the back of your hand across his skin moving the hair out of the way. You noticed how his eyes closed as you did this. For this wound you fished a gauze pad out of your first aid kit, taping it onto his forehead so he wouldnât have to have the bandages around his head.
âAnything else I can do for you?â You asked. âDo you want me to help you brush your teeth or anything before bed?â
Hawks eyes fluttered open, you tried not to get pulled into them. A soft smile spread across his lips.
âI can manage that.â He said. âThank you.â
It took everything in you to not run your hands through his hair as you looked down at him.
âIâll see you tomorrow then?â He questioned.
âI was going to spend the night on the couch if you donât mind.â You explained gesturing towards his living room.
âOh.â He said looking taken aback. âYeah, thatâs fine. You know you donât have to.
âItâs okay, I took the time off to help you. I just thought Iâd stay over in case you need anything at night.â You explained. A moment of silence passed and you nodded before turning to head to the living room to get ready for bed.
Hawks grabbed your wrist before you could get too far away.
âYou can sleep in my bed. The couch isnât comfortable. To be honest I barely even sit on it, Iâm not home that much.â He laughed. âMy beds really big, you can pretend Iâm not even here.â He said looking over. He wasnât wrong the bed was giant, far more than a single person needed but you supposed he didnât put a lot of thought into his furniture.
The thought of sharing a bed with Hawks made your heart beat fast. You knew that he wasnât being a creep, you trusted him. You didnât realize you trusted him until this moment. You supposed that was something. You knew he was being nice by offering for you to sleep in the bed but you couldnât help but wonder if he had any other motive.
You nodded, leaving to get ready for bed. You changed into something more comfortable before doing your nightly routine and making sure everything was put away and turned off before returning to his room.
The TV was still off and Hawks now laid down with his head on the pillow. He looked stiff, you supposed there werenât many options when you were injured that much. His small wings splayed under him, looking a little more filled out today than they had been yesterday.
You turned off the main light leaving the bedside lamp as the only source before climbing into bed. You laid down at the edge, you felt so awkward. It wasnât your bed and you were laying next to Hawks, even if there was a good amount of space between the two of you.
âThank you.â He said, his gaze remaining on the ceiling. âYou didnât have to do this.â
âI wanted to.â You said, glancing over at him. His expression looked off, gone was the charming hero replaced by someone more vulnerable. A few moments of silence passed and for a moment you wondered if he had fallen asleep quickly.
âUsually when I get hurt this bad I just end up staying in the hospital.â He said in a small voice. âIâve never had someone take care of me.â
The hint of shakiness in his voice as he told you that nearly broke your heart. In one moment Hawks went from being the number two hero that everyone knew and loved to a small boy who just needed to be taken care of. You looked over at him turning on your side.
âWell, youâll always have someone to take care of you now.â You said. In one way it was a joke mirroring the ones he had made about your arranged marriage but a part of you meant that genuinely. In one moment Hawks had broken down the walls you had built to hold onto the last shred of your freedom. The weird part was you felt freer now than you had before.
After the time you spent taking care of Hawks you couldnât deny that you started to feel something for him. It was subtle at first. It began with you replying to his texts and not just passively. Then you found yourself excited for said texts and whenever you got to see him. Then you started texting him first and making plans to spend time with him
Every once and a while you would feel bad, feel like being interested in him was giving up your freedom. Did you really want to deprive yourself of the one happiness you would be allowed in your circumstance?
One night you were returning home from work, you were exhausted it had been a long day and all you wanted to do was collapse on your bed. You smiled as you replied to a text from Hawks watching into your bedroom.
You heard something from the corner of your room, as you turned to it you saw a dark figure approaching you before everything went dark.
Hawks didnât consider himself a needy person. He had been alone so long he didnât even know what it was like to have someone care about him other than for their own personal use of him. Then you came into his life, albeit not willingly but you were both on the same page with that. Ever since his injury the two of you had become so close. He enjoyed it a lot more than he would like to admit.
Hawks wasnât the type of person to overreact when someone didnât text him back but it seemed you were the exception to that. You had been in the middle of texting him about your day when you stopped.
He paced the house for an hour before he gave into his concerns. It wouldnât hurt to fly over to your place, it wasnât fair. He could drop in on your balcony and just make sure everything was alright.
Your apartment was dark, the blinds nearly closed. You wouldnât have fallen asleep, you had just gotten home. He was sure you didnât even have time to sit down much less doze off. He peered through the space in the blinds.
Red filled his vision when he spotted you tied to a chair, a man standing over you. Before he could think better of it he smashed through the glass doors with his wings and pinned the man to the ground in one fell swoop.
The feather he had against the man's neck dug into his skin, a trail of red starting. He had never felt more enraged in his life. How could someone touch his girl? How could someone even think of hurting her? He pressed the feather down and the man let out a yelp of pain.
Then he heard a whimper escape you. He let up on his pressure turning to look at you. Sitting there a rag tied around your mouth, tears running down your face. He had never seen you look so upset. It tore his heart apart. Suddenly he didnât care about the man on the ground. He shot his smaller red feathers into the edges of his clothes pinning him down with no escape before standing up and moving to your side.
Hawks kneeled at your feet, his feathers moving to cut the ropes that kept you on the chair. His hands moved to your face holding you gently between his hands.
âAre you okay, little bird?â He asked, his voice frantic. He hadnât even noticed he let the nickname slip.
âI-Iâm okay.â You said, your hands moving to hold onto his biceps. He could feel the way you were trembling. âYou came for me.â
âOf course I did, Iâll always be here for you.â He said. âIâm sorry I didnât get here sooner.â
Hawks glanced back at the man on the floor. He pulled his phone out calling for someone to pick him up and take him away. Once he did he turned his attention back to you.
âIâm going to pick you up now and Iâm going to take you to my place. Is that okay?â He asked. You nodded and he didnât hesitate to pick you up in his arms.
Flying with Hawks was something you had imagines but nothing compared to actually doing it. The wing through your hair, the city lights passing you by. His speed and elegance was incredible. Even with the scare, you had tonight you could appreciate it. It felt like a dream.
The way your cheek rested against his shoulder, brushing against the fur of his coat. The way you fit in his arms like you were made to, it was nice being held by him.
As his feet hit the ground of his balcony lightly you came back from that dream. The fear that you experienced tonight still in your veins. He placed you on his couch, it really was uncomfortable, before standing in front of you. You hadnât even realized that he grabbed a bag of stuff from your apartment till he sat it down next to you.
âAre you hungry or thirsty? Do you need anything? What do you need?â He said. It was funny seeing him so unsure of what to do.
âIâm just tired, I want to take a shower and sleep.â You told him. He nodded.
âAre you hurt?â He asked looking you over.
Your head throbbed from the man knocking you out and your wrists were sore from where he tied you down. Other than that you were okay.
âI could use some pain killers for a headache but Iâm fine.â You told him.
Hawks quickly retrieved you some medicine and a glass of water. You took it thankfully before you went to take a shower. It was amazing how a shower could make things feel so much better. In your favorite pajamas feeling clean and refreshed it was easy to forget what had happened.
That was until you were finishing getting ready to go to bed. You climbed into bed, feeling less awkward than your last stay but still keeping to your side of the bed.
It was all too easy to hear the manâs voice in your head as you started up at the ceiling. Blaming you for not saving his family in the recent incident in the city. You had tried so hard to get everyone to safety but you couldnât always save everyone. You knew you couldnât save everyone but it didnât keep you from blaming yourself. It didnât help when you had the loved one of the people you lost screaming that at you.
Tears streamed down your face and silent sobs wracked your body. You didnât even notice when the bed had moved under Hawk's weight. Not until he was leaning over you.
âHey, hey.â He cooed at you, his hand gently and slowly reaching toward you to wipe away your tears. âCan I hold you?â
You barely had to nod before you were in his arms, he pulled you onto him as he laid down. He tucked you chin into his neck as he ran his hand down your back, keeping you close.
âYou can tell me about it if you want to or I can just hold you until you feel better.â He whispered. âJust tell me what you need, anything.â
âHis family died in the accident the other week.â You said. âI didnât save everyone, I should have been able to. What kind of rescue hero loses peo-â
âEven if you did everything right, youâre going to lose people.â Hawks interrupted. âItâs not fair, not to them, not to their family, not to you, not to anyone. That man was grieving and he took it out on the wrong person. Youâre an amazing hero and I wonât ever let you forget that, not even if I have to say it a million times.â
âThank you, Hawks.â You said, your sobs quieting.
âKeigo. Call me Keigo.â He said. You leaned up looking at him, his golden eyes rested so softly on you. âThey took my name away when they gave me the name Hawks. They told me to forget it. But I want you to know, to use it. You have a piece of me that I never thought anyone would have, hell I didnât even know it existed until you came along. You shouldnât have to call me what everyone else does.â
Blinking up at him you processed everything he just said to you. You wondered if it was even possible to process everything he just said to you. The weirdest part was you felt the same. Hawks- no, Keigo had a piece of you that no one else had. He made you feel things you had never felt before.
âThank you, Keigo.â You said, pressing your face back into the crook of his neck. Holding him close you felt safe. Like nothing could ever hurt you. The way his strong arms wrapped around you, one handâs movements soothing you. The way his wings wrapped around the both of you, shielding you from anything bad that could ever happen to you.
After that Keigo insisted you move in. It made sense considering your future plans. If you could call them plans. You could tell Keigo would be at ease knowing you were safe, he even offered to turn the extra room into your own bedroom. You wouldnât even pretend to be against the idea. The thought of sharing a homemade you feel safe. And as much as you hated to admit it you didnât mind sharing a room with him, not after you had the best sleep you could recall in years in his arms.
Living with Keigo was nice, at least when he was home. Work kept him busier than you which left you alone time which you appreciated. You started cooking for him, the look on his face when he got home and smelled dinner was priceless. You had never seen someone enjoy your food more. The way he would compliment it on and on made you laugh.
You were happier than you had ever been and your life had never felt more normal. But it wasnât and as much as you enjoyed things with Keigo you couldnât forget the shadow looming over you. Even if you cared for him, even if you were okay with marrying him it didnât take away the fact that the commission wanted you to have children so they could take them away.
You werenât even sure if you wanted kids but you knew if you did have them you didnât want them being taken away from you and condemned to the same fate as you.
Keigo was keeping something from you and you didnât want to push him but you did want to know.
It was dark in your bedroom, Keigoâs room. The sound of quiet cries had woken you up. Looking over you saw Keigo twitching in his sleep. You leaned over him, softly touching his shoulder trying to rouse him from his nightmare.
He sat up with a gasp, scaring you as you pulled back. His wings spread out and puffed up as he looked around his gaze settling on you.
âYouâre okay.â He breathed out pulling you into his arms. He shoved his head into the crook of your shoulder, breathing in your scent. âOh my god, youâre okay.â
âKeigo, Iâm right here. It was just a bad dream.â You told him, running your hands through his hair trying to calm him down. âWhat happened?â
âThey took you, they hurt you.â His words came out rushed. âYou were- I think you were dead.â His hands gripped into the back of your shirt.
âIâm right here, Iâm alive.â You told him, holding him tighter. âWho took me? That guy?â
Maybe he was having a nightmare about the man who had tied you up in your apartment.
âI need to tell you something.â He said quietly leaning back so he could look you in the eyes. âI donât want you to look at me differently but I donât want you to get hurt.â
âKei, I wonât look at you differently. I couldnât.â You said holding his cheek in your palm.
âIâm a double agent, the hero commission wanted me to spy on the league of villains.â He said. âIâve done horrible things, I- Iâve killed people.â
Keigo looked heartbroken, his eyes tearing up. He looked at you as if you were going to leave. It made sense, the small things you had noticed but were never enough for you to bring up. It all fit into what he told you. It didnât shock you that the commission would force him into that.
âItâs not your fault, you didnât have a choice.â You told him. He looked at you in disbelief.
âIt doesnât change what I did.â He said.
âIâm not going to leave, I donât hate you.â You told him.
Tugging him closer you held him close, wishing that you could make him feel better. You would give anything to take his pain away. Once he calmed down more the both of you started talking about your childhood being raised by the commission. There were a lot of similarities but Keigo had been put through more, turned into a weapon.
Sitting so close to him you were practically on his lap. Your faces were so close, you couldnât stop looking at his lips. Your gaze would flicker down before returning to his golden eyes. You could feel the pull between the two of you, all those feelings that ran between you swelling up.
âPlease just kiss me already.â He whispered and you gave a soft nod. Keigo grabbed the sides of your face pulling you in for a passionate kiss. It was amazing, as you grew closer and closer to him you had imagined kissing him before but this was far better than those daydreams.
Pulling back both of you were breathless, staring at each other with dumb smiles on your faces.
âKiss me again.â You said before he pulled you back again, his hands moving to your waist.
âI know we didnât choose each other but there isnât anyone else who could compare to you, if I could pick anyone in the world to be here with me I would pick you every time. I feel things Iâve never felt before with you. I- I love you.â He said, his thumb brushing your cheek.
âI love you too Keigo, youâre perfect for me.â You said. âI donât know what Iâd do without you.â
Keigo went in for another kiss before pulling you to lay down with him on the bed.
âWe should run away.â You said as you laid there wrapped in his arms. âRun away where the commission canât reach us and never look back.â
âDo you think we could manage it? What if they found us?â He said. âWe couldnât be heroes anymore.â
âHavenât we done enough? How much are we helping by supporting the commission?â
There was a silence as Keigo thought about it.
âI donât know.â He said, rubbing your back. âLetâs think about it more.â
Weeks passed and it was nice feeling like a real couple with Keigo after you had admitted your feelings for each other. But it didnât change the fact that the commission still weighed on you. What they had done to you, what they had done to Keigo angered you more than ever. Then they put him in more danger working with the league.
It wasnât until one day Keigo came home. You knew when he walked in it had been a bad day. He was off. Sitting down next to you he was silent. You looked over at him and he had a blank look on his face.
âI havenât been able to stop thinking about what you said.â He said quietly. âThese wings and for what? I donât have freedom. Youâre right we should run away.â
âReally?â You questioned.
âYes. I want to be with you by my own choice, I want to marry you because I love you not because weâre being forced. I want to start a family with you and raise our children with the love and childhood we didnât get to have. I donât want to be a pawn for them, a weapon. I want to be free.â
âKeigo Takami, will you run away and marry me?â You said taking his hands in yours.
âNothing would make me happier.â He smiled so brightly it nearly stopped your heart. Happy tears welled in your eyes as you nearly tackled him with a hug.
The two of you traveled anywhere and everywhere you had always wanted to see, you ate all the food you wanted to try and saw everything the world had to offer. Walking along the old streets of Paris hand in hand with Keigo it felt like a dream. How had you come this far? You never thought you could be so free and happy.
Once you grew tired of traveling the two of you bought a house in your favorite place, you knew it was your favorite because you had been so many places at this point. It was secluded and far away from the commission.
Laying on a blanket in the grass of your backyard next to Keigo, you enjoyed the breeze and the sunlight that was just barely warm through the chilly air. Your head rested on his arm as the both of you watched fluffy white clouds float by.
Looking over you caught him staring at you. You smiled at him rolling closer to him leaning down. You brushed your lips against his, smiling against them.
âI wouldnât want to be anywhere else.â You said, hand brushing through his hair.
âNor would I.â He said before he flipped your positions and smothered you in kisses as you giggled under his attack.
Keigo was familiar with few freedoms in his life. Ever since he met you that all started to change. You should have been just another demonstration of how he lacked any choice but you ended up being the reason he was set free. And you were the reason he was happier than he had ever been in his whole life.

Welcome to the Crepe Archives
âïž Hey you! Yeah, you! The one behind that screen! Which one? The one youâre using to browse Tumblr, duh! You just stepped right into a super cool virtual archive operated by me, Strawberry Crepe Cookie!
Whatâs in it?! Basically everything youâve just GOTTA know about Earthbread in this day and age, those other Cookies included, packed neatly into one comprehensive Tumblr blog. If youâve seen the Editorâs work with the Bakerâs Street Newsblog, I was there for it! I came on day one and gave my share, and now itâs time for ME to take the spotlight! Anything that appears here can get reblogged back there, and anything there worth saving can get reblogged RIGHT BACK HERE!
Yep. Editor DerpyToad of the Bakerâs Street Newsblog reporting in as the actual writer behind BOTH blogs and probably several more. Sometimes the other online sites and wikis with CR stuff are too deep to wade through and not everyone uses them, so why not pack the relevant stuff into a Tumblr blog instead? Itâs semi-low tech and allows me to work with it with ease. It also increases accessibility to anyone that uses Tumblr too. Youâll meet my assistant somewhere in the future, heâs met Crepe before and the two are on good terms.
âïž ANY Cookie Run or Devsisters game that is currently online and LIVE is subject to my thorough analysis in easily-understood Tumblr posts, but nothing deep into anything thatâs already been sent to the scrap heap or on a past event that was just never seen again.
Ovenbreak? Yes.
Kingdom? OH, YES! Thatâs where I came in with my genius!
Puzzle World? Itâs remained dormant for years, but itâs still live. Yes. (Puzzle World posts are currently being suspended due to Witchâs Castleâs recent launch. Certain early-game content will be addressed in a reroll account)
LINE? NAHHHHHH, thatâs been gone for AGES!
Kakao? No, the Editor would have to jump through SEVERAL hoops and translators to download and decipher everything there.
Cookie Wars? Of course not! They already locked that apocalyptic moment down with their steampunk machinery and some dark amethyst, thanks to some Cookie in a city of wizards and a curious-looking chimera. If you want to see the cache I found, click here.
Brixity? Yes! All that creativity at your fingertips to wield to create elaborate ideas! (Brixity posts are currently being suspended to be addressed in a reroll account due to update suspension on their end)
Witchâs Castle? Of course! Thatâs where we learn where all the Cookies before GingerBrave come from!
If youâve got questions about what Iâm doing, take âem to the ask box! The ask box is open for questions for me or any guests and potential helpers I have here⊠whenever they get here. New entries will appear whenever in whatever order we get to them since Iâm not on a schedule and the Editor is on a schedule of his own, but we can take requests in the ask box if thereâs something that youâve just GOTTA see or something that you want corrected⊠if we need to! Youâll usually need PROOF that a change is needed to have it processed if we donât notice.

Legal Disclaimers đ
As the person managing this blog, while I will use public resources on the game about the internet that are NOT leaks (Twitter accounts, Fandom & other similar wikis, YouTube, etc), and information that I get from other people to post accurate information and sprites on this blog that are not openly available in the games themselves, I am not associated with Devsisters or any other blog or wiki that exists on the internet. I am purely doing this as a side hobby and to make a similar resource accessible on Tumblr.
References made to someone named Lemon-Lime Meringue Cookie, Vanilla Meringue Cookie, or simply just Meringue are just references to my sona or Cookiesonas, which sometimes indirectly refers to me as the blog Editor/Mod (DerpyToad), as there is currently no canon Cookie simply named Meringue Cookie in Cookie Run yet. Pastel Meringue Cookie is a different unrelated story as an OvenBreak Cookie, as his name separates him from other Meringues listed in this disclaimer.

Part XXVI: Giving Grief
Authorâs Notes: This is the first chapter Iâve posted in months (literally since April). I donât know if this is a full comeback. I have a few chapters in the drafts that need to be edited and formatted for posting but after that, I still plan on continuing the series bc my plan was always have a long fic. With no new content after part II of the game was released, my interest in the fandom waned but was always there. Now with HBO creating a show based off the game, as well as me being apart of the Pedro Pascal fandom, I think I will soon become more consistent in posting as new content gets released. I will say that at least half of what appeals to me for Joel is Troy Bakerâs voice and while I love Pedroâs voice too, I know it wonât be the same. I still think Pedro will do the voice justice bc he can do a damn fine country accent as seen in the movie Prospect on Netflix. If youâre a fan of his and have Netflix, please go watch it!
Genre: Angst and Fluff
Summary: You and Joel reconcile and bond over Ellie and Sarah.Â
Ship: Joel Miller x Fem!Reader
Joel waited for you to come home. He paced back and forth in the kitchen switching from holding the card and setting it down on the counter. He was eager to talk to you about this new revelation partly because he was nervous to have the other conversation with you. After a while of calming his nerves down, you still hadnât come home. The sun had set an hour ago and Joel was ready to throw on his boots and go looking for you.Â
Just as he laced them up, the front door opened. You walked in and immediately stopped because his body blocked you from walking in the house further.Â
âGoing somewhere?â You asked as you slid past him. He was a grown man and could do what he wanted, but the thought of him leaving to go do other things before the issue between you was resolved upset you.Â
He reached back down to unlace his boots. âNot anymore. I was âbout to head out and find you.â
âWhy?â You asked dryly.
âIâd been waiting on you to come home for a couple of hours. We gotta talk.â
âYouâre right, we do. I was helping Wendy walk the kids home from the daycare; thatâs what held me up. Iâm here now, though.â You leaned against the back of the couch and crossed your arms. The stance you took reminded you of what Joel would do.
He walked into the kitchen and came back. âKiddo made this for us.â
You took it in your hands. âWhen did she have time to make this?â He shrugged. Your fingers brushed across the drawing of the hat before finally opening it. âOh my God.â She looked at you for a split second before looking back down at her signature. âHer name has been âEllieâ the whole time.â
âI know.â He commented.Â
âShe never said anything. All of us have asked her.â
âTechnically, she still hasnât spoken her name, but I guess she wasnât ready for that.â
âShe wasnât ready to let anybody in.â You said. He nodded in agreement.
âUntil now.â He walked up to you and pointed to her name on the card. âSheâs doing so good, this Ellie. I can only try to imagine the horrors that sheâs seen out in the world before she came to Jackson, but whatever happened out there, it led her to us. Iâm...Itâs just nice to see her opening up to this place.â
You understood what he was trying to say. âYeah, Iâm proud of her too.â You walked past him and into the kitchen to hang the card on the refrigerator. Joel followed. This time, his arms were crossed.
â(Y/N), I meant it when I said I was sorry back there. I shouldnât have said what I did.â
âIf you didnât mean it, you wouldnât have said it.â You rebutted.
âI was upset with you because I expected you to react the same as me when Ellie climbed up that T-Rex, but I donât want a carbon copy of myself. I love you and want to have a family with you because you are wise beyond your years, confident even if you donât always think so, responsible even for things that arenât your responsibility and most importantly, youâre level headedness. Where I have a tendency to lose my cool in certain situations, you are guided by this calm...patient sense of will that I envy.â He took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, giving you the opportunity to say something. Seeing that you were still soaking in his words, he continued. âYouâll be a great mother. I saw it in the gentle way you juggled all those kids at the daycare. I saw it in the way you took care of Ellie the first day she came here. Youâll see though, if itâs meant for us to have a baby, how difficult it is to stop worrying. It didnât stop when Sarah....even when I tried to push those feelings away. It doesnât stop. I know sheâs not her, but itâs hard for me to just stand by and watch her do something that could hurt her.â
âI wasnât standing by, or at least that wasnât my intention. I wanted to give her space. Sheâs so delicate, or maybe thatâs my problem. I shouldnât treat her like sheâs some glass figurine. I just wanted her to grow comfortable with us by trusting her. Believe me, it wasnât easy for me to do when there was nothing personally for me to go off of, but then I thought, sheâs lived out there for God knows how long by herself. Sheâs not only seen things but has been able to survive things. Itâs hard to see how clever someone is when they wonât let you in, but I knew she had to be to have made it this far. I get it though. Iâve never been a parent. I can only sympathize with your worries. I can not empathize with you until Iâve been where you have. Iâm sorry too. I could have found a way to give her space without allowing her to be in such a dangerous spot. You must be disappointed in me.â
He moved up to you and placed his hands on your shoulder. âIâm not. Look at me. Iâm not disappointed in you. She was both of our responsibilities earlier.â He brought you into a tight hug. âYouâre right, she is smart. She felt comfortable enough to show a side of herself that no one else has seen. You know why? âCause she felt safe around us. Despite the grief she put me through, it was nice to see her so happy.â
âI know it was, wasnât it? I canât believe she jumped though! I didnât think sheâd go that far.â
âAt the end of the day, kids will be kids. Itâs not an excuse to slack off on raising âem, but there's just a certain wild and carefree nature that every kid has. Itâs instilled in their DNA or somethinâ and then it fades away as they get older, about the time their back starts to ache.â Joel chuckled as he explained. He kissed the top of your head before pulling away to get a good look at you. He made a face as if to ask if you were ok. You nodded. He took your hand and pulled you into the living room. You sat down next to him. âShe reminds me of Sarah sometimes. Ellieâs about the same age as her. She ran me through the ringer, raising that one.â He chuckled at the memories. âI wouldnât trade it in for the world, being her dad, but you shoulda seen the amount of grief she put me through. Especially being a single parent.â He wiped his hand across his face, letting it linger along the length of his neck. âOne time, she snuck off to some skate park when I told her no. She was in this skateboarding phase. I bought her a customized skateboard for her birthday and she would practice using it up and down the driveway. She had barely learned that little flippy trick when she asked me to take her to the skate park. I told her no because it looked like it was for experienced skaters. I wanted her to practice more first. To say the least, she was mad at me. She told me she was staying after school for the science club, but she really went to the skate park with some friends. By the time I figured out where she was, I found her lying in the grass, holding her arm in pain. Turned out she had a hairline fracture in her...radius?â He pointed to the bone on his arm. You nodded that it was in fact called radius. âI grounded her for lying to me, but sometimes I wonder if I should have taken her to the park. I mean Iâm no expert on skateboarding, but at least I could have been there to supervise; make sure she wasnât on one of those tough looking ramps.â
âDid you ever take her skateboarding after she healed up?â
âAfter the cast came off, she switched interests to soccer. I installed a shelf on one of her walls to hang the skateboard on. Better that than being stuffed under her bed. Soccer was her life though. She made new friends from the team, won titles, learned tricks with the ball. Me and Tommy were regulars at her games. I was...am proud of her.â
You smiled as you envisioned his memories. âDid she give you grief with that as well?â
He nodded in an exaggerated way. âOh yeah, but Iâm sure I used to give her grief too.â You lifted your eyebrows with desire for him to elaborate. âI may or may not have argued with the coach and ref on a few occasions regarding plays.â
âYou never dated any of the soccer moms?â You teased.
He scoffed. âMost of them were married and the ones who werenât, I sent Tommyâs way instead. He wasnât mad at it.â The two of you chuckled. âI did flirt with a few, married or not, so I could get my hands on some of their homemade baked goods.â
âI was under the assumption that soccer moms made food for everyone.â
âThey did, but I still wanted a few more cupcakes for the ride home.â He admitted as you laughed. âListen, I had a busy life. I didnât have much time to hone my baking skills, so it was nice to be able to have homemade cakes and cookies for a change.
âWell, if you wanted cookies, thatâs all you had to say! I can show you how to bake right now.â
âItâs late.â He reasoned.
âItâs never too late to feed your sweet tooth.â You rebutted as you pulled him back into the kitchen.

Guilty Pleasure
[Porn AU]
Summary: Peter and Beck used to be a power couple in the porn industry, but after Beck dumps him, Peter is forced to start over. With no money, no family and nowhere to go, he doesnât have much choice other than to keep doing porn, so he joins Just4Fans to get back on his feet and then one day he gets a very generous tip from someone under the username of YKWIM.
All the warnings listed on Part I apply.Â

-x-
Almost three months into his new life, Peter was finally able to establish a routine that worked for him. He woke up around nine in the morning, tried to get some sort of exercise done, usually yoga or a jog around the block, then he had breakfast by himself, because both Ned and MJ had class or work before he was even up. After that, he made sure to post something on Just4fans, so people could see it throughout the day, and answered private messages and comments from the night before. Lastly, he headed to his newly created Twitter account to promote the new content and to interact with people there as well â it was a great way to get new subscribers.
That usually took up most of his morning, then he went downstairs to Ned and MJâs apartment for lunch. He usually ate with at least one of them, except for Mondays and Wednesdays, when neither was home, but even then he ate at their place since he didnât own any kitchen appliances yet â it was on the priority list, but not that high up, he liked having an excuse to visit his friends every day.
Later, he headed back upstairs and, depending on the day, he would take new pictures and videos or edit the ones he took the day before. Finally, at night, he posted more content on his Just4fans and chatted with his subscribers until it was time for bed.
In the last week of April, on one of his morning jogs, he noticed that just a few blocks away from his building there was a charity called the Bright Future Foundation. He thought the name sounded familiar, but try as he may, he couldnât remember where he had heard of them. It was only after running past it a few times that it clicked â Mr. Harrington, his science teacher, told Peter to look it up.
The Bright Future Foundation helped kids who aged out of foster care get their lives together. They offered support in the form of scholarships and grants, academic and personal mentoring, and help with internships and employment readiness skills. That was what their website said, as Peter vaguely remembered from his high school years, when he still planned on going to college.
He went inside one day, not really sure why, and when the front desk lady asked how she could help him he just stood there for a few minutes, silent and nervous. She asked if he wanted to learn about their programs, but he shook his head, sticking his hands in his pockets. The woman waited patiently, a motherly smile on her face, until Peter asked if they needed any help.
And that was how volunteering at BFF became a part of his new routine â every Thursday from nine to five, starting in the first week of May. Since it was just a few blocks away from his place, he could walk there instead of taking the subway.
He liked his new routine, it was tiring but it didnât leave a lot of time for overthinking or ruminating on the past. He never felt lonely because Ned and MJ were always around and he actually made a few friends among his subscribers, which was nice.
For the first time in a while, Peter was feeling happy. And it wasnât an elaborate, fragile sort of happiness, where things needed to be in perfect place for the feeling to be felt, no. It was the simplest kind of happiness: he had friends, a job, a place to crash and everything was fine. Nothing was perfect, but it was fine.
A few days after he sent Tony the lingerie pictures, he decided to send him the video. He was a little insecure about it, it was 13 minutes long after editing and Peter had really lost it for a minute there, one could clearly tell. He was gone for most of the video, a moaning mess, tears gathering at the corners of his eyes, begging for something â someone â that wasnât even there. It either looked ridiculous or fucking hot depending on the person watching, and even though he was pretty sure Tony would not think it was ridiculous, he still worried just a little, but he sent it anyway. It was still early in the day when he did, some time around noon, and he didnât expect him to answer any time soon, so went on with his day.
Tony messaged him around 2AM, as usual, but there was no text, just three videos in the chat. In the first one, it looked like he was wearing a suit, he could see the dress pants pulled down and the white shirt pulled up as Tony jacked off for thirty seconds before he came all over his hand. It looked like he was in a bathroom stall, sitting on a toilet, and Peter bit his lower lip, wondering if he was at work when the video was taken.
The second video was similar to the first, but it looked like he was in a garage or something like that â probably the workshop he always talked about â, Peter could see a black shirt bunched up around his waist and sweatpants around his thighs.
Last but not least there was a video of him completely naked, lying in bed, and the video was shot from Tonyâs point of view, like he was holding his cell phone close to his face, looking down, instead of propping it up in front of him like he usually did.
They were all incredible and delicious and got Peter rock hard in a second. The boy got comfortable on the bed, lay on his back, took off his pajama bottoms and sighed when his cock sprung free, shivering a little when the chilly night air touched his heated skin. He planted his feet on the mattress and spread his legs, but didnât do more than that yet.
âThat good?â He messaged Tony, cheekily, and the older man started typing right away.
âThis is the best thing thatâs ever happened to me in my whole entire life and Iâm 48, so yeah. That good.â
Hm, forty-eight. So Peter wasnât wrong in his assumption. He bit his lower lip, a rush of excitement running through his veins. Tony was so much older, almost thirty years his senior. Peter supposed he must be really experienced. He wondered if he usually hooked up with younger men or if in real life he only dated women â it wouldnât be a shock â but most of all, he wondered what he looked like. Maybe he dyed his hair, but if he didnât, it was probably mostly gray and fuck Peter if he didnât have a thing for that.
âI couldnât stop thinking about it. You broke me. I was in the middle of a meeting when you sent that video, I had to excuse myself to go to the bathroom to watch it. What have you done to me, witch?â Peter wanted to laugh, but it got stuck in the back of his throat with a moan when he slid a hand to his lower abdomen and his cock stood to attention.
âI donât know about that, but your videos sure got me horny as fuck.â He rolled his hips a little, humping the air, and finally gave in to himself, holding his cock in one hand and the cellphone in the other.
âIs that so?â He could almost hear his voice through the phone â soft, but powerful. He always imagined Tony would sound like that if they ever talked face to face.
âYes, daddyâ And that would always be his default answer to anything he might ask with that voice. He closed his eyes for a second, quickening the pace of his strokes just a little, when his phone beeped again.
âAre you touching yourself right now?â
âYes, daddyâ Peter shivered, imagining Tonyâs reaction to that revelation.
âCan I hear you, baby boy?â
He didnât even hesitate, he started recording a voice message and moaned into the phone, thrusting his hips against his fist as he quietly begged for Tonyâs cock, his fingers, his mouth, anything, he just wanted the man to be there taking care of him, making him cum, that was all he wanted, and he wanted it so badly.
He came in just a few seconds and hit send on the voice message before he could overthink it. As he lay there, breathless, staring at the ceiling and trying to gather his strength, he fantasized about Tony listening to it. He smiled to himself, like an idiot, then his cellphone beeped, bringing him back to reality.
âYouâre gonna drive me mad, you know that? Iâm actually going insane and itâs all your fault. Also, my dick is gonna fall off and thatâs on you, too.â Peter had the presence of mind to laugh at the message, but it took him a few seconds to gather enough energy to write back to him.
âThatâs a serious accusation, Tony, Iâm gonna need all the evidence I can get, so every time you touch yourself thinking of me, make sure to send me proof, ok?â
âOh, you donât know what you just got yourself into.â Again, Peter could only laugh, because judging by the amount of videos Tony sent him that day, he really was in for a treat.
Days later, on Friday, Peter got up early to go for his usual jog around the block. He was a little tired from the day before, still adjusting to his new routine at BFF â it was his third week there and they were starting to realize that Peter was a quick learner and very eager to help, so they took advantage of that, which was fine with him, he was thrilled to be able to help somehow.
So after a quick, half-assed jog around the block, he went back home, showered and decided to take the rest of the pictures Tony asked for. The man was still going nuts over the video, he wouldnât stop talking about it and every day there was a video of him finishing himself off in their chat and Peter could hear his own voice in the background, screaming Tonyâs name.
It was both embarrassing as fuck and hot as hell, so the younger man also spent a lot of those last few days in the shower trying to cool down, but Tony was not making it easier.
As much fun as that was, he was curious to see how Tony would react to the new pictures. He realized that would be the first time the older man would see him with clothes on, which sounded ridiculous, but it was true. He didnât have many pictures on Instagram, but most of them were selfies and there were just a few where it was possible to see maybe a hint of a shirt, but that was it.
So he took the outfit he and MJ picked out and winced, remembering how much it cost, but at least he picked out clothes he might wear some day â if he had a meeting with the queen of England, for example. He put on the light gray suit by Hugo Boss, with a pink shirt with big, white dots by Leviâs Vintage underneath, black dress shoes by Brunello Cucinelli and a Gucci watch he was able to find on sale for half the original price. The whole outfit was worth around five thousand dollars, and was definitely the most money he had ever spent on â well, anything.
He checked himself in the mirror and snorted a little, he sure looked like a spoiled brat, which was probably what Tony meant by âexpensive and beautifulâ, so that was fine. He styled his hair so it looked effortlessly tousled, but not too much, and set his camera to take the pictures by the living room window.
He took a few pictures on the windowsill, some other leaning against the glass with his hands in his pockets, a few others looking out the window. He posed on his armchair, too, which was the only piece of furniture he had in his living room at the moment and he wished he had a decent dining table so he could pose like he was on a date with the camera, but he supposed those would do.
Once he was satisfied with what he got, he took off the clothes, put them away and went downstairs to have lunch with Ned and MJ. For the first time since he moved in with them, they both had Friday afternoon off, so they spent it together, eating junk food, watching bad TV series and playing really old tabletop games Ned had brought with him when he moved from his parentsâ house. Â
In between a game of Monopoly and Scrabble, Peter pulled his phone out to check his messages, and was surprised to find one from Tony, sent just a few minutes earlier. He checked the time and noticed he must still be at work, so he opened it, assuming it couldnât be anything too sexual.
âHey, are you feeling better today? Just checking in.â
Peter frowned for a second, but a quick look at their earlier messages reminded him that he was feeling a little under the weather the day before and heâd told Tony that before he went to bed.
âHi, Tony! Iâm all better now, thanks for asking. I guess it was just allergies or something.â
He didnât expect Tony to answer right away, but as soon as his message was sent, he started typing. Â
âThatâs good to hear, but you need to be a little more careful with your health, kitten. Just yesterday you said you had an apple for lunch. At 4PM.â
âYouâre one to talk.â Peter snorted. They always berated each other for poor eating habits. Peter was a 20 year-old bachelor living by himself and sharing meals with his equally young and dumb friends, so pizza was on the menu more often than not; Tony was a forty-eight year-old businessman with too little time to care. âDid you even eat today?â
âDonât try to turn this around, this isnât about me.â Peter rolled his eyes and smiled to himself. âDid you do anything fun today?â
âI took some pictures for you, it was quite fun.â He knew the mention of new pictures would get him interested in a minute.
âDonât play with my heart, kid. When can I see them?â
âI donât know...â He teased just a little, because he knew Tony wasnât above begging and it was fun to watch.
âDonât be mean to daddy, come on. Heâs always so good to you.â Peter smiled, because, yeah. He was.
âIâll send them tonight, I promise.â He decided, since they would have more time to talk then, if he sent the pictures earlier, Tony would still be at work and Peter would still be at his friendsâ.
âGood boy.â
âYou know I am.â
âWhat are you smiling about? Who are you talking to?â Ned looked suspiciously at him, so he quickly put the phone down and shook his head with a nervous smile.
âJust a subscriber with a bad one-liner.â
MJ looked at him like she knew a secret, but Ned just shrugged and finished setting up the game. Â They ended up calling it a draw and ordering pizza afterwards, but Peter went back home early because both Ned and MJ had work the next morning.
Once he got upstairs, he went to edit Tonyâs pictures and since it was still a little early to send them, he decided to check his twitter DMs. He didnât read them very often, he already had his plate full with JustForFans, but every once in a while he checked them and answered as many as he could. Most of the messages were dick pics anyway, he just ignored those. Some others were people being nosy and asking way too personal questions, or worse, asking about Beck. He learned how to talk his way around those, but one message in particular stood out and really got to him. Â
âIâm so glad youâre doing okay, honey! The way Beck is with his new boy now makes me wonder if he ever even loved you. He sure moved on quickly. Youâre better off without him anyway, I always liked you better.â
That sort of comment wasnât exactly unusual, but that second part caught him a little off guard. Makes me wonder if he ever even loved you. It just â why would she say that? Â The way Beck is with his new boy. What way, exactly? What could he possibly be doing that made that person assume Beck never even loved him? People thought they were perfect together, they said it all the time, so much so that Peter himself was almost convinced of it for most of their relationship, so why in the hell would anyone think he loved this other guy more? To the point of assuming he didnât even love Peter in the first place?
He was a masochist, he decided, as he opened Instagram. And not even the good kind of masochist, because there wasnât any pleasure involved in what he was about to do, just pain. He unblocked Beckâs profiled and fucking looked. He didnât know what he expected to find, but just looking at the first picture was enough to make him realize it was a terrible fucking idea. It was a black and white picture of him and the new guy cuddling in bed, kissing with soft smiles on their faces, captioned: âNowhere else Iâd rather be.â
Peter closed the app quickly, he didnât need to see that. It meant nothing.
That picture meant nothing. That caption meant nothing. Because Beck was a fucking liar, a fucking actor, a fucking illusionist, a fucking â artist. He painted beautiful pictures, he weaved beautiful words, but none of that meant anything. Because it never meant anything when it was Peter in his arms, so why wouldâ
Fuck, he should be over him, so fucking over him. But he really wasnât, he would go back to that toxic environment if Beck snapped his fingers and that was scary to know. It was fucking terrifying to realize he was one text away from crawling back to him, even after all the humiliation, even after Beck just fucking up and left him with nothing â nothing â Â he would still go right back to his arms. He still wanted to go right back to his arms.
It made him feel pathetic and weak because he knew that what they had was toxic and abusive. And he had known that for a while, way before they split up. Deep in his soul, he knew he was living a nightmare, day after day, over and over again, but he couldnât fucking leave. He thought Beck was all he had. He promised him forever. He promised he would always be there for him. He was all Peter had in life, and he had lost so fucking much over the years, he couldnât afford to lose anybody else.
But he did, didnât he? He lost Beck. He was in someone elseâs arms right that second, professing his undying, fake love.
Peter took a deep breath and held it a few seconds, then exhaled slowly.
He didnât lose anything, he was set free. He was free and he had a record to break â it had been three days since he last cried about that asshole and he didnât plan to ruin it.
He closed Instagram and went to his Just4Fans. He posted a few pictures from a phoshoot he did earlier that week that made him feel sexy and confident, which was the opposite of how he felt at that moment, but he was going to fake it until he made it.
In a few minutes, he got lots of comments and private messages with compliments, but somehow none of them was enough to fill the empty spot Beck left when he dumped him.
Well, none except for one.
âWere you planning on giving an old man a heart attack today? âCause thatâs how you give an old man a heart attack.â The silly message got a smile out of him, and that was a lot considering how broken he felt.
âLol. It wasnât in my plans, no, but now Iâm worried. Is the old man okay?â He joked, and immediately got an answer in his inbox.
âHeâs waiting for you to keep your promise. Says he refuses to die before he sees some pictures of you? Do you happen to know anything about that?â Peter chuckled.
âOh, yeah, I think I know what heâs talking about. Hold on a sec.â
He selected his ten favorite pictures with the date outfit and sent them to Tony, feeling butterflies in his stomach for reasons he couldnât explain. He lay in bed for several minutes, staring at his phone, waiting for an answer, but the older man didnât say anything, even though Peter could see he was still online. He started to get a little anxious, worried that he had messed up somehow, so he messaged him again.
âWell? Have I finally rendered the old man speechless?â
Almost at the same time as he sent his message, Tony replied:
âI need to see you.â
Peterâs heart almost jumped out of his mouth when he read those words, eyes widening in shock. I need to see you. He read it a few more times to make sure it meant what he thought it meant. It couldnât possibly â Tony wouldnât want to meet him. That would be absurd. He was â well, Peter wasnât sure, but he sounded important most of the time, he was definitely very rich, very hardworking and he seemed like a really nice guy. So really, why would he want to meet Peter. That made absolutely no sense, obviously he meant something different than that, he just didnât quite know whatâ
âPlease,â said the next message, just a few seconds later.
Peter bit his lower lip, feeling his face grow warmer. Just for the hell of it, he thought â what if Tony did mean he wanted to meet him? What then? Peter couldnât say yes, that would be insane. He didnât even know the man, all he knew were little things about his daily life, he didnât know his last name, if he had a family, if he was married, if he was a psychopath â he didnât even know what he looked like!
Still, he fantasized about saying yes. But that was just a fantasy. He couldnât do it, that would be crazy.
Right?
âYou wonât regret it, Iâll treat you right.â
Well, fuck. He had to go straight for his Achillesâs heel, huh.
Peter kept staring at the bright screen of his phone, breathing slowly to try to contain his wild heart that seemed adamant to burst out of his chest cavity in the next few minutes. He didnât know what to say. No, his brain supplied, like it was obvious, because it was, right? He couldnât say yes, yes was not a viable answer. He had to say no, it was only a matter of how he would say it without hurting the older manâs ego.
But.
Why exactly did he have to say no? He knew there were ate least 99 good answers to that question, but he couldnât think of one, soâ
âHow do I know youâre not a serial killer?â Peter asked, even though he wasnât really worried about that, it was the last thing on his mind, to be honest.
âYouâll know.â He said, plain and simple, and not helpful at all. And still, no flight response whatsoever from Peterâs brain. His stupid mind couldnât seem to understand that that was clearly a terrible idea.âWeâll meet in a restaurant, the best in New York, and nothing else has to happen, I promise. Weâll have a nice dinner and thatâs it. I just need to see you in person.â
That sounded reasonable, didnât it? A public place, lots of eyes on them. If Tony turned out to be a creep, he could just leave. At the very worst, heâd be disappointed and lose a very generous subscriber; at the very best, heâd get a good meal out of it and who knew what else. It sounded reasonable. So it was probably reasonable.
Right?
âCan I wear this outfit?â He asked, because, well, that was all he had to wear to New York Cityâs best restaurant â whatever that was.
âYou must, baby.â He answered quickly, and Peter smiled to himself. âSo Iâll take that as a yes, then?â
He typed a quick yes, but didnât send it right away. He gave his brain a few seconds to come up with reasons to say no, because he knew there were good reasons for that, but he really, honestly, just wanted to sayâ Â
âYes.â
âPerfect.â He replied right away, as if he had been staring at the phone, waiting for his answer. âIâll set a time and place and let you know. You wonât regret it, Peter.â
Peter loved all the pet names Tony gave him, they were all sweet and funny, but when he called him by his actual name, it just hit different. It felt good. Like he wasnât just a pretty picture in a porn app, an expensive hobby, but a person. It was hard for him to remember that, sometimes.
Some other times, it felt good to forget.

Bucket of Snakes
Zak Bagans x Reader, Billy Tolley x BestFriend!Reader
Warnings: brief mention of blood, other than that itâs just goofy shenanigans. Oh, and poorly edited as usual. Haha.
Word Count: 1,649
A/N: I had a few ideas for this theme, and I might make it a drabble collection. I havenât decided yet. Also, who wouldnât want to set up a prank with Billy?
My Full Master List
You danced in the passenger seat of Billyâs car, hoping to set your plan in motion before Zak returned home. For now, Aaron and Jay were keeping him occupied with yet another game of golf, which allowed you and your best friend just enough time to set up your latest prank.
And this one was your best yet.
You held your phone up and started filming your excitement. Billy was already planning on having Jay film the entire prank but having a silly little intro wouldnât hurt.
âHeading to the Bagans Manor with a bucket of snakes,â you sang to your phone. Billy chuckled beside you.
âI hope you arenât on Instagram live or something. We need to keep this a secret.â You rolled your eyes, still filming, and turned to the driver.
âDude, how many pranks have we done so far? Iâm not going to spoil it,â you scoffed. âThatâs a rookie move, Tolley.â You stuck your tongue out, then turned back to your phone. You wiggled your shoulders and smiled. âHeading to the Bagans Manor with a bucket of snakes,â you continued with a giggle.
You turned the phone back over to Billy, who just smiled, Starbucks drink in hand. He cheered the camera. âThe saga continues.â
As Billy pulled into the driveway, your body hummed with excitement. The moment the car stopped, you leapt out and raced for the truck. You opened the door and grinned at the plain white bucket.
âHeâs going to hate us for this one.â You reached for the bucket, then skipped up the driveway to the door.
You unlocked the door and waited for Billy to grab the rest of the gear. You peered around him and stared at the car, which was parked dead-center in the middle of the driveway.
âYou think we should move that over a little? Jay is going to text me when theyâre on the way back, but I donât want to have to worry about parking on the street.â You reached out for the bucket that Billy was carrying and nodded towards the car.
âYeah, probably a good idea.â
While Billy went to move his car, you made your way to Zakâs favorite room. It didnât really have a title, but it best resembled a creepy, fucked up mancave. It looked like a partial library with a grand table in the middle, like where vampires would meet and have a blood tasting party or some shit. Right before leaving for a lockdown, Zak, you, and the crew and would all gather in there and go over travel plans.
And this is where Billy, Jay, and you usually went over evidence after a lockdown.
You gently placed the buckets onto the hardwood floor and smiled. It was going to be a piece of cake to get that bucket overhead. You knew there was a ladder in the garage, and Billy was surprisingly knowledgeable in rigging traps like this.
Once Billy got back from moving the car, he started unpacking the tools while you went in search for the ladder. You knew last saw it on the wall next to where you parked your car. And, luckily, thatâs exactly where it was.
Lugging that ladder to the other side of the huge house wasnât an easy feat, but you managed to do it without breaking anything. Honestly, that alone was deserving of a medal. Zak wasnât exactly a sparce decorator.
âOkay, Iâll hold the ladder and you canââ
âOh no,â Billy interrupted, his eyes narrowing. âYouâre younger and far nimbler that I am. Thereâs no fucking way Iâm getting on that thing. Iâll break a hip.â You rolled your eyes and sighed.
âFine, old man, just hold the damn thing still. I donât want Zak coming home to a broken fiancĂ©.â
âItâs beautiful. Our best work yet,â you boasted as you stared up at your handy work, hands on your hips. Billy chuckled beside you.
âItâs pretty genius,â he agreed. âHave you heard from Jay?
Shit. You hadnât looked at your phone in ages.
âUh, hold on.â You pulled your phone out of your back pocket and studied the screen.
Two New Text Messages: Jay Wasley
Jay: Hey, we are leaving now. Do you need us to buy you more time?
Jay: Weâre five minutes out. I hope you guys are ready.
âShit, Jay said they were five minutes out three minutes ago. They will be here any minute!â You rushed to your usual spot, in the living room. You turned the TV on and tried to look comfortable while Billy plopped down into the leather chair beside you.
The moment you two settled, you heard the sound of car doors slamming. The sound sent a shock wave of nervous tingles through your body. Thereâs no turning back now.
âIf he gets pissed off and calls off the wedding, Iâm blaming you,â you whispered as the door opened. Zakâs distant voice filled the air.
âHe better not. I already bought my groomsman tuxââ
âHey there, couch potatoes. How was your day?â Zak greeted as he entered the room. You beamed up at him and smiled.
âHey!â He leaned down and kissed the top of your head.
âDid you get through any of the footage?â Zak gently rubbed your shoulders as he stood behind the couch.
âUh, no. Not really. We went to get lunch, then went into a food coma. Plus, itâs a shit ton of footage. We thought all of us could go through it together.â You stared up at Zak, who just smiled.
âI mean, sure. It was a two-part lockdown, so Iâm sure thereâs a lot to look at.â He glanced over at Billy, who was staring down on his phone. âYou guys almost out of your food coma?â You nodded, then slowly lifted off the couch.
âIâll go set up the computers,â Billy announced, stepping in front of you. âJay, you wanna help real quick?â You watched as Jay nodded. He was nominated to film the plan in motion.
âHow was your game?â you asked, trying to distract Zak are a moment. Aaron immediately start laughing.
âYou mean other than almost falling into the pond?â You laughed with him.
âWait, what?â You turned and stared at Zak, who rolled his eyes.
âDude, they definitely moved that pond! I donât remember it being there before!â Zak scoffed. You raised an eyebrow.
âWait, the pond by the eighth hole?â You turned back to Aaron. You had been invited to play with them a few times, not that golf was your best sport. Usually, you and Aaron tried to beat each other on who could have the worst game.
Zak sighed. âIt wasnât there before!â He was adamant and he wasnât backing down.
âOkay, babe. But, if you really want to go swimming, we can always just go to Aaronâs place. The last thing you need is to get E. Coli from all that goose crap.â You had to tease him one more time. He was so adorable when he got embarrassed. âNow, letâs go see what Billy and Jay are up to.â Zak just sighed and nodded.
The three of you headed up to Zakâs favorite room. You led the way, wanting to look back as the whole thing played out. Zak was right behind you, followed by Aaron.
Butterflies filled your stomach as you neared the hall. You turned into the first door on the right, then gave your signal, before spinning on your heels. The moment you turned around, Zak passed through the doorway. In an instant, Billy pulled the rope, emptying the large bucket of snakes onto the unsuspecting target.
âWhat the FuâAhhh!â Zak shrieked and nearly leapt into Aaronâs arms. You, Billy, and Jay all immediately erupted in laughter, followed by Aaron. Zak grasped onto Aaronâs arm for dear life, staring wide-eyed at the dozens of plastic and rubber snakes that now littered the floor.
âOh my god, look at the terror in his eyes!â Billy cackled as he doubled over, holding his stomach.
âZak, man, I canât feel my arm. Itâs okay, Z.â Aaron pulled away from Zak, but Zak barely moved. You peered back at Jay, who was still recording, then back at Zak.
âBabe?â For a moment, you were afraid that you had given him an aneurysm or something. Zakâs widened eyes slowly locked on you.
âFuck you, Y/N.â His voice was low and stern. He slowly loosened his grip on Aaron as he studied the snakes on the floor. âThis is why you fuckers havenât looked at any evidence yet.â
You burst into laughter. âYeah, well, it was worth it,â you retorted. Billy nodded beside you, agreeing.
âIs this what I have to look forward to now?â Zak finally caught his breath and stepped cautiously over the snakes, towards you. âAm I always going to be looking over my shoulder?â
You grinned. âYou knew what you were in for, babe.â
âDude, weâve been pranking you since before you two started dating, and you still proposed,â Billy defended, patting Zakâs shoulder. âDonât call off the wedding now. That tux was expensive.â
Zak laughed, then wrapped his arm around your shoulder. âOh, Iâm not calling anything off.â He yanked you tightly against him and leaned in, his lips hovering just inches from your ear. âBut Iâm not the only one who should be looking over my shoulder. Revenge is swift, and someone in this room may just be a double-agent.â Your eyes widened and you peered over to Billy, who shared the same look.
âHaha, well, good luck pranking the masters.â You tried to hide your nerves, but Zak was good at surprises. He planned several surprise parties for you and the guys, and had planned his elaborate proposal for months without you suspecting a damn thing.
Well, this was going to be interesting.

SPOILER WARNING: Do not read if you havenât seen all of Season 1 of âLoki,â currently streaming on Disney Plus.
Ever since âLokiâ first premiered in June, Kate Herron, who directed all six episodes of the Marvel Studios series, has had to pretend like she knew far less than she really does. For one, she couldnât acknowledge that the homages to sci-fi classics like âBlade Runnerâ and âBrazilâ that sheâd baked into the elaborate sets for the Time Variance Authority â the cosmic bureaucracy tasked with maintaining the sacred timeline â were âmeant to be sinisterâ rather than just âplayful and quirky.â
For another, Herron was delighted to see fans theorizing after the very first episode that Kang the Conqueror â a character already set to appear in the Marvel Studios feature âAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,â as played by Jonathan Majors â was really pulling the strings of the TVA. But until the finale streamed last Wednesday, she couldnât even hint that those fans were only half right: Majors does play the mastermind of the TVA, but heâs a variant of Kang referred to as He Who Remains. Itâs only after He Who Remains encounters Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and his female variant counterpart Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), and Sylvie plunges a blade into his heart, that the multiverse is reborn, creating the possibility for Kang the Conqueror to emerge.
Again, though: Herron couldnât acknowledge any of that, even to those closest to her.
âNothing has prepared me better for working with Marvel than playing tabletop games with my friends,â she says with a laugh. âIt definitely taught me how to have a good poker face. You have to hide your hand â and sometimes lie.â
Now, thankfully, all of that is behind her â as is âLokiâ itself. Despite receiving widespread acclaim for her assured, ambitious, and visually sumptuous work directing the show, Herron says she has decided not to return for Season 2 of the series.
âI gave it everything â in my soul, in my heart, everything,â she says. âI feel so proud of the work weâve done. And yeah, Iâll be enjoying Season 2 as a fan.â
Sheâs quick to sing the praises of everyone she worked with at Marvel, and she says sheâs âsureâ sheâll work again with the studio. For now, however, sheâs ready to take a holiday, and then turn to a project sheâs writing herself âthatâs really close to my heart that I really want to make.â
âItâs my own decision, but I just feel like my part with âLokiâ is finished now and Iâm just excited to see where his story goes,â she says.
Before she parts ways for good, however, Herron spoke with Variety about bringing Jonathan Majors into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, what she thought of the shocking revelation about infinity stones and what she would like to see happen in Season 2.
She always knew âLokiâ would introduce Kang and the MultiverseâŠ
From the very start, Herron says, she and head writer Michael Waldron knew that their six-episode run of âLokiâ would always end with Loki and Sylvie meeting He Who Remains at his citadel, the result of which would cause the creation of the multiverse.
As Episode 6 makes clear, both of these events were massive turning points for the future of the MCU â and Herron still canât quite believe she got to be the one to make them a reality.
âWe were just, like, waiting to be told, âActually, guys, weâve had a change [of heart],'â Herron says. Instead, Herron says she and âQuantumaniaâ director Peyton Reed participated in casting Majors in the role.
âI was just like, pinch me,â she says. âI canât believe I was at the table for that, because I know it was such a big decision for them all.â
Herron also decided to have Majors provide the voices for all three âTimekeepersâ who are supposedly at the head of the TVA, but are revealed by Sylvie to be nothing more than âmindless androids.â
âWe didnât have someone cast for those voices,â she says. âI remember thinking, well, âWizard of Ozâ is clearly a reference for us. We should have the wizard. Itâd be great if itâs Jonathan. So we sent him all the art of the timekeepers. And he just kind of came up with these incredible voices for each of them.â
âŠbut not with a cliffhanger.
The most significant decision of the season, though, may be that it ends with a giant cliffhanger, when Loki discovers heâs in a brand new reality for the TVA in which Mobius (Owen Wilson) and Hunter B-15 (Wunmi Mosaku) donât even recognize him. But while Herron knew how this season of âLokiâ would end, at first, she did not know that there would be any more seasons after it.
âWhen I started, there wasnât a discussion of Season 2, exactly,â she says. âIt was just that season of âLoki.â As we got deeper into production, everyone was very happy, and obviously thereâs so much to explore with Loki. It felt like we should continue the story. So I think the cliffhanger ending came in later in the process.â
Herron says she sprinkled in some hints to viewers that Loki is in a new timeline, like redressing sets to look slightly off, and recasting Eugene Corderoâs TVA receptionist Casey as a hunter headed to the armory in a blink-and-youâll-miss-it moment. But her favorite bit is that the final line â said by Mobius to Loki â is the same as the first line spoken in the show, by a woman in the Gobi desert, also to Loki: âWho are you?â
âThat was kind of the question of the whole first season,â Herron says.
She was just as shocked about the Infinity Stones as everyone else.
In the first episode, Loki discovers to his horror that not only does his magic not work inside the TVA, but Infinity Stones â heretofore believed to be the most powerful objects in the known universe â are just inert rocks there. The revelation sent shockwaves across the Marvel fandom; Herron was right there with them.
âThat was in Michaelâs script when I first got it to pitch [for the directing job],â she says. âI remember being like, âWHAT?! You put me through so much!â But then I thought, âOh, itâs kind of genius, because it shows how powerful the TVA are. Who are these people? What is this place?'â
Herron especially appreciated how her shock â and the audienceâs â mirrored Lokiâs own as the rug gets pulled out from under him. âI was quite excited by it,â she says. âIt really shows you that thereâs a new power in the MCU â and itâs not what we we spent the last decade dedicating our lives to.â
She told Kevin Feige she wanted gender parity among her crew.
Prior to âLoki,â Herronâs most high profile job was directing the second half of the first season of the Netflix dramedy âSex Education.â She got the âLokiâ job thanks to a 60-page pitch memo that filled out just about every detail of the world of the show. After hiring her, she says Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige asked her, âWhat are your terms?â
âThis was the first time I was gonna get to hire my heads of department on a television show I worked on,â she says. âI was like, Iâd really love [the crew] to be 50/50 across gender.â
Herron says she wasnât out to fill any jobs on the film with a specific gender. But, she says, âThere arenât enough women in these roles. Theyâre out there. Itâs a lack of opportunity. Itâs not a lack of interest.â
She did end up hiring two women for critical roles that are still rarely occupied by women: cinematographer Autumn Durald (âThe Sun Is Also a Starâ) and composer Natalie Holt (Historyâs âKnightfallâ).
âI felt like she was inside my mind,â Herron says of Durald. âWe have the same taste. And I love the way that she talks about light as a character.â
Herron hired Holt unusually early for a composer, after sheâd completed editing the first episode during the pandemic shutdown. She knew that the particular sci-fi film noir look of the show that she was developing with Durald needed similarly unique music, and she liked that part of Holtâs pitch was focusing on Lokiâs identity as a character.
âHer music then started to inspire how I wanted to shoot other scenes,â Herron says. Sheâs especially enamored of Holtâs vision for her dynamic and foreboding theme for the TVA.
âShe was like, âOh, letâs have that theme be Kangâsâ â well, He Who Remains, I guess, in our show. But I hope that will go on to be Kangâs theme. That was the real fun of it is that you feel like heâs really played a hand now across the whole show, because you realize that music is his music.â
Herron, Durald, and Holt all deliver distinctive and superlative work thatâs nothing like the MCU has quite seen before â and nothing quite like anything previously in their careers, either. And thatâs entirely the point.
âI think for us, it was about just showing people what we could do and that we could do it at this level,â Herron says.
The episode in which Loki comes out as bisexual was inspired by Alfonso CuarĂłn and Richard Linklater.
Every episode of âLokiâ features multiple extended scenes of two characters just talking to one another, a rarity in a comic book production. Herron says that cutting Episode 1 together during the pandemic lockdown and seeing the scenes between Loki and Mobius (Owen Wilson) play out so well âdefinitely gave us confidenceâ to continue that rhythm for the rest of the show.
That was especially true for Episode 3. Written by Bisha K. Ali (who went on to create the upcoming Marvel Studios series âMs. Marvelâ), the episode is essentially an extended meet-cute between Loki and Sylvie as they get to know each other on a planet doomed for total annihilation.
âBishaâs reference was âBefore Sunriseâ and âChildren of Men,'â says Herron. âAnd it lit my brain on fire. It was kind of weird. It was almost like a bottle episode in the sense that weâre just with the two characters, but obviously, itâs Marvel, right? So theyâre bonding in this Apocalypse, which also feels very Loki at the same time.â
That episode is best known for making Marvel Studios history, when Loki casually mentions that heâs had dalliances with both men and women. Herron says that when she first interviewed for the job, she asked if the show was going to acknowledge Lokiâs sexuality, which had long been established in the comics as bisexual or pansexual.
âI think everyone wanted to acknowledge it,â she says. âIt was just really about giving a care and consideration and doing it in the right way. I think everyone knew it was gonna be quite a big moment. So it was just really about doing it in a way that felt respectful. And honoring it.â
Herron also confirms what many fans had suspected, that she deliberately made the lighting scheme for the scene evoke the blue, purple and red of the bisexual flag. âWe knew what we were doing with that scene,â she says with a smile.
She has a lot of ideas for what sheâd like to see in Season 2.
Since Herron will be watching Season 2 of âLokiâ only âas a fan,â she is also free to wildly speculate as to what sheâd most like to see happen â like how, wherever Loki story leads, âweâve opened the doorâ for the character to explore his sexuality with men as well as women.
Otherwise? She says she wants to know where Judge Ravonna Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw) goes to when she leaves the TVA in search, she tells Mobius, of âfree will.â
âI love her,â Herron says. âGugu used to always call her an indoor girl, which made me laugh, but she is. Sheâs in the office, but she used to be this kick-ass Hunter. So Iâm like, Okay, well, whereâs her path going?â
Herron is also keen to learn more about Hunter B-15âs backstory â since she deliberately decided to hide it in the scene in Episode 4 when Sylvie shows B-15 her repressed memories as a variant.
âI was like, we shouldnât see her memories,â Herron says. âItâs a character that thought they had power and realizes they have no power. It felt really powerful to at least give her some power in that scenario. The memories are private. Theyâre hers.â She pauses. âAlso as a fan, Iâm like, âOh my God, who is she?!'â
âAnd obviously, you know, Loki and Sylvie?â Herron continues, on a roll. âHeâs in a completely different reality. Whatâs going to happen to him? How will he get back? Or will he get back? And whereâs Sylvie? Sheâs still in the Citadel? And the multiverse of it all. What the hell is going to happen?!â
Herron chuckles at her own excitement. âSo I think thereâs so many questions to be answered, and so much more road to travel with all our characters,â she says. âYou know, Iâm really proud that I got to set up Lokiâs story here. But thereâs so many different aspects of his identity and personality thatâs yet to be explored. Iâm excited to see where it goes.â

yâknow WHAT
from now on any time I draw Marinette, sheâs going to NOT have blue hair or eyes.Â
The showâs whitewashed her enough, the least we as a fandom can do is collectively undo that anyway we can.
And yeah, that includes not reffering to her as a bluenette in fanfiction. I have no issue with the term when applied to other characters from other franchises, but with Marinette, her hair is literally only blue as code for asian; Sabineâs hair is sliiiightly better, being much darker, with grey eyes instead of (literally impossible) bright blue, but seriously.Â
Theyâre both whitewashed to be more approachable (and marketable!) to white viewers.Â
What we could have had:
-grey eyesÂ
-black hair
-less rediculous eyelashes
[Image ID: Two renders from the concept art of Miraculous Ladybug, showing Marinette from the waist up, showing her with an altered design from the show. Her clothes are the same, a floral-printed white shirt underneath a grey jacket with pink polka dots on the inside, while her hair is black, in twin pigtails with no visible hairtie, with a pink bow on one side above her left ear. Her eyes are a grey color. End ID]
What we got instead:Â
-Bright blue hair
-neon blue eyes literally impossible considering no one in her immediate OR extended family that we have seen in the show have blue eyes at all. They either all have brown, hazel, or grey eyes. Not a speck of blue between them.Â
[Image ID: A cropped screenshot of Marinette Dupain-Cheng and her mother, Sabine Cheng standing outside on Marinetteâs balcony, zoomed in on their faces.Â
Sabine is posed like she is taking a selfie. Both are smiling in the general direction of the camera. Sabine has very dark, navy blue hair and thin, slanted, light grey, almost silver eyes, and wears a mostly white traditional tunic with red print on the sleeves and a few yellow flower patterns. Sabineâs face appears to be wider than it is tall, and she has high cheekbones.
Marinetteâs outfit is the same grey jacket and white floral shirt she always wears, but this time her physical appearance is the same as in canon: her hair is a stunningly unnatural blue color, and her eyes are a very bright, clear cyan blue. Her eyes are very round and wide, unslanted on her face. She has very large, dark eyelashes. The unnatural blue of her pigtails is further accented by the bright red hairties that she is wearing. END ID]
Someone sent me an anon, asking me to elaborate on why I say that Chloe and Lila look more mixed race than Marinette does, and when I can get my hands on a non-chromebook laptop, I will be happy to edit a few colors to better demonstrate my point, but itâs down to their face shape, eye shape, bonestructure, etc.
[Photo ID: A screenshot of Lila Rossi, looking at the camera. She has large, almond-shaped green eyes, and her hair is a dark, reddish brown, with a fringe over her forehead, and twin pigtails that frame her face. She has on a orange jacket overtop a grey polka-dotted low cut top. She has a small button nose and small lips. The edge of a classrom desk is visible in the background. END ID.]
Here we have a very good example of Lila. Make her eyes grey or brown instead of green, and her hair black (or make them both blue blue, because thatâs how this show frames any asian womanâs natural hair and eye color), and you would have thought she and Marinette or Kagami were sisters.Â
With Chloe, itâs the same; change her eye and hair color, and you would think SHE was Sabineâs daughter more than Marinette.Â
Both Lila and Chloe have the sterotypical âexotic slantedâ eyes that more closely resemble Sabineâs eye shape than even Marinetteâs do.Â
[Image ID: A cropped screenshot of Chloe Bourgeois, zoomed in close to her face. She has thin almond shaped, slanted blue eyes, with bright blue eyeshadow above her upper eyelids. Her face is more oval shaped, slightly wider than it is tall. She has a yellow jacket on with a simple necklace, and a pair of white sunglasses are perched on top of her head. A park is just visible in the background over her shoulder. END ID]
Chloe has the same ~exotic~ slanted eyes that Lila has, and her face is wider, like Sabineâs, and she has the same high cheekbones.Â
And, speaking of Kagami, letâs throw her on in here, too:Â
[Photo ID: a screenshot of Kagami Tsuguri, who is frowning slightly at the camera, holding her phone in her hand. She is wearing a white suit jacket, with a black collared shirt underneath, with a red plaid tie. She has a silver ring on one finger, and a light blue button is pinned to her lapel, of two hands claspsed together in cooperation: one orange and one blue. She has light brown eyes that are thin and slanted, a button nose, and her hair is cut close in a bob, and is a dark blue color. END ID ]Â
So, for more reference, hereâs Kagami with her also white washed ~Blue Asian Woman Hair~, and shocking! She doesnât have blue eyes! Instead, she gets much more natural brown eyes-- but theyâre still very light colored.
And you know, you donât have to go far to realize thereâs a pattern here, and itâs not a good one. Would you like to see, for instance, how Master Wang Fu and Sabineâs *uncle, Wang Cheng hold up when it comes to the whitewashing?
[Image ID: a cropped screenshot of Wang Cheng. He has close-cropped black hair, thick black eyebrows, a short black goatee/mustache combo, and his eyes are black, with no visible color, and are slanted and heavily lidded. His face is wide. He is pale, and wears a white chefâs outfit complete with chef hat.]Â
Hereâs Sabineâs *uncle. You know, Sabine, with her navy blue hair and light grey eyes???? Shockingly, her *uncle gets actual black hair and dark eyes.Â
[A cropped screenshot of Master Wang Fu. He has dark grey hair, mustache, and goatee. His ears are large as is his nose, and he has dark brown eyes. His face is wider, and he has high cheekbones. Heâs wearing a hawiian print shirt in red and white. END ID ]Â
And, last but not least, Master Wang Fu! Amazingly, his hair is NOT bright blue! His eyes are brown.Â
So. How... interesting is it, that only the female asian characters get the blue hair and light eyes, while the male asian characters get the natural hair colors and dark eyes?
And why is it that Lila and Chloe have the ~exotic~ eye shape, while Marinette gets wide saucer eyes? Notice how Chloe and Lila are both ~irredemable~ female antagonists?Â
Have you noticed that Kagami DOES have slanted, naturally-colored eyes, but sheâs ALSO an âobstacleâ for the showâs main ship, and half the time she is being framed as being an opponent for Marinette to overcome? Notice that sheâs Marinetteâs rival for Adrienâs affections, and is literally hated by a portion of the fandom purely because she âgets in the way of their shipâ?????Â
Yeah. not only is Marinette whitewashed, but both Lila and Chloe are given ~exotic~ facial features to show that theyâre ~evil women~, while Marinette gets whitewashed not only physically, but an entire episode and future feature-length special are dedicated to her having her Chinese heritage mansplained to her by a rich white boy!
EDIT: the use of the word "exotic" to describe Chloe and Lila's features in this post has been pointed out as being a dehumanizing way to describe non white features, and yes, I completely agree, as that is why every instance of it is in quotation marks or ~symbols~ to show my sarcasm in it's usage, as the Miraculous Creators specifically are using what THEY view as "alien" characteristics to denote their evil female characters, while white washing the actual mixed race protagonists, because they view non-white characteristics as signs of being "bad", while Marinette, our actual mixed race character has had her entire heritage erased from her character design, even when they ALREADY had a well-done design already made, they specifically CHOSE to white wash her. Yes, white passing mixed race people exist... But that is not what the ML writers are doing with Marinette's canon design, and to give them credit for such a "brave" choice is a just hopeful thinking unfortunately, because we can see over and over again just how they view Asian characters and people as nothing more than exotic stereotypes, especially with the new characters of Fei and Su Han; this original post is from October of 2020, while this current edit is being made in February 2022, and I've since seen the disasterous, disgusting Shanghai special that further shows how much they ""care"" about Marinette being mixed race.
