This was heavily inspired by Doraemon

If you don’t know what Doraemon is, the basic concept of the show is pretty similar to FOP. Kid is sent a being who can help improve his daily life and hijinks ensue. Biggest difference is that Doraemon is a cat robot from the future with futuristic gadgets instead of a being of magic. And he’s sent by Nobita’s (The protagonist of the show) great great grandson to help him.

Anyway just a silly AU where Peri got sent to the past right after Timmy turned 18 and is in college to help transition him from having a life of having magic to having none.

I’m going with the Peri not remembering much of his childhood hc here. By Peri becoming his fairy, Timmy in turn remember’s. I see a lot of the reverse happening and I just wanna see the opposite dynamic more where Peri is more indifferent.

finished my updated Solange ref!!

i have a lot of lore abt her but some general info

does not like most of the bishops ( leshy is kind of the exception ) and HATES Nari. I'm toying with the idea that Solange ends up kicking the Bishops & Nari out of her flock for her mental health ( she only kept them around bc she'd feel bad but it gets to a point where its either keep them around and have her mental health/sanity suffer even more or kick them out so she can heal )

polyam ( in my current save i married Aym, a follower named Lavender and Jalala ( not sure if the Jalala relationship will be canon though ).

Solange and Lavender ended up splitting sometime postgame on semi good terms because Solange felt heavily uncomfortable pursuing a relationship with Lavender due to her newfound god status ( and the cult leader aspect )

Solange really only accepted Lavender asking her out/the proposal in the first place is because the last time she rejected someone ( the farmer she lived with prior to her execution ) he ended up selling her out to be executed. Solange also was under the assumption Nari would make her mortal after she killed the Bishops so she was planning on convincing Lavender and her sister to leave the lands of Old Faith so maybe Solange would feel less gross about the relationship. Unfortunately that didn't pan out so Solange decided to break it off

loves and cares for her flock but didn’t really want to be a cult leader in the first place. If not for the fact she would have been killed Solange would have given Nari the crown so she could leave the lands of the old faith and try to find a place to call home.

Postgame she tries to make the cult less cultish and encourages her followers to have some free will and be self sufficient w/o her ( which does sorta work to her credit ) but deep down Solange knows it doesn't really matter as a cult is a cult no matter how hard she tries to make it not so.

on a small side note i hc she isnt the last sheep ever but definitely the last sheep in the lands of old faith and the areas close to it. Sheep are still very rare however ( especially what would be considered " purebred " sheep )

moral code is a bit loose. She doesn’t exactly like to sacrifice their followers ( she much prefers ascension which she primarily does for her elderly followers ) but has little to no issue with sacrificing/killing off spies along with other things.

She can hold a nasty grudge ( see: her hating Naris guts ) to the point its probably detrimental to herself

Solange also made a sort of " deal " with The Fox that while she wouldn't give him Ratau she will give him both the bodies of followers who passed away and any spies that sneak their way into her cult ( along with offering him minced follower meat meals )

wanted to be an artist or a baker when she was younger ( They technically achieved the baker part as post game she starts growing wheat and making bread/pastries for her followers )

Hey New AU Time!!

i’ve been planning this one for a while so please ask questions or comment or lmk if you wanna see more! It’s very much inspired by my love of analog style horror and i made it after watching Vita Carnis in one night if that tells you anything

The story here:

Tommy is your average high schooler in a normal world. Well, normal to him. This world is infested with mutant bug monsters that have been around for centuries.

Originally, humanity reacted like it was the end of the world, and the apocalypse lasted a few decades. Over time, though, humanity learned to evade these insectoid monsters, and now have adapted to living in a much more dangerous world. Point is, it’s normal nowadays to hear of a massive man eating bug creature in the woods near your house! Just means a few days off of school while you hide in the mandated fallout shelter houses have now! Fun!

Anyway, back to Tommy. He’s got good grades, nice friends, a good dad and adopted brother, and two new foster brothers that he’s very close with! Nothing could go wrong!

Until it can, of course.

Tommy begins hearing a voice, someone under the command of a “Saint,” whatever that meant. Plans for an invasion. Plans for what “each of them” needed to do to take the city down in the coming months.

Tommy, baffled and more than a little terrified eventually just starts pleading with the voice to stop. To his surprise, it does!…until the speaker tracks him down and finds him in person.

Turns out Tommy’s been unwillingly listening in on a hive mind plan between “the Parasites” and their “Saint” (Saints are high ranked Insectoids sent specifically by The Queen to watch over certain areas) in this area leading them to finally come out of hiding now that their numbers were up for the final stand against humanity. Which is a huge problem since bugs aren’t people, they are massive mutant bugs. Theres never been a human looking bug. Until now, apparently, as Tommy learns that Parasites have existed for years, infiltrating and gaining trust in human society to take it down from the inside. And now Tommy is the only one who knows this. The speaker, Dream, as he introduces himself, says that he’s the head leader of the charge in this city specifically, and emphasizes (mildly annoyed) how important it is for Tommy to do his part in the coming fight.

The only issue? Tommy is, like, 99% sure he’s not a Parasite. He goes to a human school, has human friends, a human family, and so on.

He explains this to Dream, and subsequently fails all tests Dream throws his way to test if he’s Insectoid (verbal tests, anyway; Dream doesn’t know how to test physically since Tommy isn’t old enough to have developed insectoid traits yet anyway). Dream gets super confused how he could hear the hive mind, then, and deduces that surely Tommy must be a bug of some kind. Tommy disagrees and tries to leave to tell some sort of authority that the city is full of bug people readying to attack, but Dream is smart enough to realize what he’s doing and threatens his human family that Tommy so desperately cares about as a way to keep him silent. He also says he’ll be keeping an eye on Tommy and conversing with his Saint to see just what’s wrong with him and what they should do.

Now it’s up to Tommy to try to keep delaying Dream’s attack plans and try to subtly hint to his family and friends that things are about to go to horribly wrong.

Dream, on the other hand, starts his master plan of bringing his dumbass Parasite friends to Tommy to help him figure just what exactly he is, and maybe break him of whatever attachment he has to these humans around him so that they can recruit him to the Insectoid cause.

All the while Tommy is trying to grapple with the ever increasing odds that he may not be as human as he once believed…

With the help of an unlikely ally, the Kelpien rebel leader Saru, La'an and the crew of the Enterprise start a mutiny, bringing the ship under their control in hope to find a way to flee their barbaric universe while the war against the Alliance spreads across the crumbling ruins of the Terran Empire.

Carrying Spock's offspring and the remains of his katra, La'an must face the dangerous path to cross universes into an unknown future in order to save her child and what is left of the man she loved.

FFXIV 30 Day Writing Challenge Prompt 1: Steer Brought to you by (one of) my latest hyperfixations! Also Streamer AU!

“But Stardew’s so boring,” Wuk Lamat whined, even as her character dodged one of Araki’s attacks. She was sat cross legged on the couch, Alisaie and Goro on either side of her. Araki sat on Alisaie’s other side.

It was in person game night for certain members of the streaming groups, this time at the Leveilleur Twins’ apartment. Alphinaud had quickly made himself scarce the moment his sister’s friends made their appearances, pausing only to make sure snacks and other refreshments were provided and within reach.

Alisaie shrugged, keeping on the edges of the arena. “The views are surprisingly good those nights,” she offered.

“I know, I know,” the other woman half grumbled, leaning towards the aetherscreen, as though she would get a better view from the fifty ilm screen that way. “It’s just, the animals, you know? It’s so tiring to just collect eggs, milk, and shear every day.”

“Have you considered the auto-grabber?” Araki asked, before a startled yelp left him and he leaned over, trying (and failing) to dodge Goro’s character, falling from the arena. “Dude!”

“Pay attention,” was the only thing he said, an almost frighteningly serious (one might even say, murderous?) expression on his face.

“I have to reach max on farming first, and then pay fifty thousand gold to get two of them,” Wuk Lamat pouted, then grinned mischievously as she saw her opening to sneak behind Goro’s character.

“And you lose out on friendship with them,” Alisaie commiserated, catching on to Wuk Lamat’s plan and laying down covering fire.

“And I like petting the animals!”

“Honestly, you’re not wrong,” Araki sighed, leaning back to watch the others fight it out. “The pigs are worth it at least, the truffles make serious cash, but once you get what you need for the bundles… yeah.”

“You can’t even eat them!” Wuk Lamat whined.

“Butcher mod,” Alisaie and Goro chorused, ignoring the looks from the other two.

“Butcher mod?” Wuk Lamat asked, once the moment of weirdness passed.

“Well,” started Alisaie, ducking behind cover, “it’s really called the Animal Husbandry mod. Changed the name awhile ago.”

Goro growled, eyes narrowing as both he and his character scanned for Alisaie’s. “People bitched, presumably. Oh no, the farming sim mod included butchery, we can’t have that in our pure wholesome fantasy!”

“…You’ve been spending too much time with Ann.”

“Shut up, Leveilleur.”

Alisaie only shrugged, ignoring him. “The story logic behind the mod is a bit dumb, but the important part is you can get meat from your animals and it comes with new recipes.”

Wuk Lamat paused, lips pursing in thought. “Does it come with a new kind of taco? I’m getting tired of the fish ones.”

Alisaie and Goro blinked, looking at each other in thought.

“I don’t beleive so,” Goro said, slowly.

“But Futaba could probably make a taco mod for that.”

[What, like it’s hard.gif?] appeared on Alisaie’s phone, which was ignored by the group.

“I’ll have to give it a try then,” Wuk Lamat decided, smiling as her character threw a grenade at Goro’s, laughing brightly at the ensuing explosion, which sent Goro’s character flying.

“What the fuck?!”

“Pay attention~!”

Anyway...

AU where "If Mario Was in... Splatoon" and subsequent Splatoon-related episodes were more faithful to Splatoon Canon (and also Agent 3 was Meggy's younger sibling)

Now, obviously not everything in Splatoon's lore is compatible with SMG4, most notably the whole "post-apocalyptic Earth where mammals are extinct" thing, but a lot of it is, and the stuff that isn't can still be addressed thanks to Retroactive SMG4 Lore Knowledge.

First off for the changes, obvious detail out of the way; the annual tournament Meggy was so fixated on until the end of "Meggy's Destiny" is going back to being called the Turf War Tournament like it was in the original episode because Splatfests are their Own Thing, and the fact that they're their Own Thing is really important for the story of Splatoon 2.

Next, "If Mario Was in Splatoon" came out a week before Splatoon 2, which for the sake of this AU means it takes place literal days before the disappearances of Callie and the Great Zapfish. It also means that this version of the episode happens in Inkopolis Square instead of Inkopolis Plaza, and Off the Hook are the ones to tell Mario about the tournament instead of the Squid Sisters.

(This bit doesn't have to do with canon adherence, but I'll also be taking the opportunity to actually flesh out Sam, Kenji and Heavy Squid as characters since I don't have youtube runtime limits or the effort of animating to worry about. Yes, the two Inkling Boys on the original Splat Squad apparently have canon names. Go figure.)

Because of the time frame, Cuttlefish and Three are already on the recon mission that gets them and Eight stuck in the Deepsea Metro while the episode is happening, and it would realistically take time to go through the tests and collect the Thangs, so it's a few months before Meggy gets to introduce her sibling to her new friends from out of town.

I haven't really worked out much beyond that (at least story-wise. I have figured out the directions I want to take the characters of the Splat Squad and Canon Splatoon Characters, but that's for another post), except that Meggy isn't aware that her sibling is Agent 3 until the Anime Island part of the Anime Arc. I figure the NSS would absolutely get involved in this continuity, both because protecting the people of Inkopolis is literally their job and because of Meggy and Marie being among those abducted by Francis.
