I have been avoiding an essay for ages, but now I'm doing it and I chose my text, and LO AND BEHOLD, BUT IT IS ABOUT THE JACOBITES. I am literally writing an essay on the Jacobites, I am STOKED, it's one of my favourite examples of England controlling Scotland, one of Thee inciting incidents that promotes Scottish Independence to this day.

The Abyss Stares Back: My Work in Progress List
So @msmcnevertweet tagged me to share my work in progress list (wip) and I warn you I have the distinct good fortune to do this full time after decades of awful customer service work so I've been playing catch up these past few years:
ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT
There are games that I am working on, more or less, right now.
Nostalgia & Dragons 4th Edition. This is a game I'm making for a friend's bachelor party. It's a one-pager that seeks to replicate the experience of 4th ed. D&D with minimal rules and failing forward resolution.
RIG. Mecha souls-like solo game. Based on the Rune system. This is uh... gonna come out sooner than later.
Big Damn Heroes. Classic D&D shit with an irreverent take on western fantasy tropes. Inspired by Blades in the Dark and Slugblaster. (someone please suggest a better name for this I don't want it to be a fucking Joss Whedon quote but it's so perfect I can't think of anything)
Fealty. A collaboration with the incredible Galen Pejeau. Commoners in a monarch's court try desperately to steer the nation. Inspired by the novel Wolf Hall.
The 55. This is my #dungeon23 project. A cyberpunk megatower full of unique locations, corpo suits, and more.
Neon Black version 8.0. The next reincarnation of my cyberpunk forged in the dark game. I have a fairly comprehensive notes document that summarizes all the new changes. I pick at it every day. My goal is to have something that can be tested this fall.
INACTIVE DEVELOPMENT
These are games that have had a significant amount of work done. Some are playable prototypes, some are incomplete but are more than just notes, or at least have a lot more notes than other projects. Not being worked on right now due to time, lack of personal interest, etc.
Stiletto. Single player game set in the city of Doskvol. You play as people trying to survive by themselves trying to make money, dodge the Bluecoats, and their shady pasts. First playbook is playable, but it ballooned way out of scope and I got burnt out.
Kassandra King: Devil's Dice. Single player urban fantasy noir game. Set in the world of External Containment Bureau, and using the same system. This game has had several iterations and is mostly ready for testing. Play as a hardboiled paranormal private investigator trying to figure out why you made a deal with the devil.
Blade Wings. This one is just Band of Blades but in space. You have pilots and ships as distinct playbooks. Options for different campaign types (robots, zerg like aliens, etc.)
Working Stiffs. A redacted materials game about being corporate contractors in space. Inspired by cassette futurism, Alien, Deadspace, etc. Progress determined by how much money you make, light PVP elements.
Untitled PbtA Card Game. Another collaboration with Galen. This one is a year or two old but it still lives rent free in my head. I really wanna get back to it one day.
Glocknights. Over the top epic fantasy. Players wield cursed weapons, IRON, in order to defend the mortal realm from the tyrannical angels that seek to enforce their divine mandate. Started as a collaboration with some other designers but I don't think any of us have touched it in a while.
Die-Atonic. Every see an assassin pursuing their target through an upscale nightclub and thought it was kinda hot? Anyway start the music, take turns asking and answering questions that illustrate the scene, history, and pursuit of two people through a location. When the music ends, the climax begins. Do you die, kiss, or both?
Blood & Tears. Vampire forged in the dark game all about living long and being sad about it. 4 playbooks based on classic humours.
DEEP IDEATION
These are games that exist as just a few notes, one solid idea I like, or maybe a cover page if I got wild with it.
Where We Dropping? A battle royale RPG inspired by the Lumen system.
Alone RPG System. A rough idea for a game SRD that lets you have an interesting and unpredictable solo experience.
Extraordinary Renditions. Y'know how in Horizon Zero Dawn there's that awesome moment in the history of the game where the government is black-bagging people from all over the world in order to get the expertise necessary to save it? What if that was a 2 player RPG?
Prisoners of Light and Matter. Matrix style RPG using the redacted materials system.
Untitled Wargame. I got back into 40k and hated all the rules so I tried to make something simpler. Just enough to maybe test but it's pretty rough right now.
The Gild. What if the slick futuristic data collection and analysis system you see in the new Hitman games fell into the hands of a bunch of rabid socialists?
Fire in the Stars. Revolution and revolt in the alpha centauri system. Had a version that was kinda playable. Spent a lot of time on the fiction, less on the mechanics. If I did this again I might just use the Nasty Brutish and Long rules, that could be fun.
Modern Exiles Hack. You cannot go home again, Night in the Woods-ass RPG. A potential collab. with the incomparable Jex Thomas of Bump in the Dark fame.
Skyscrape/DNGNCRWL. Real basic dungeon crawler where you control a party of characters. Might be cyberpunk, might be fantasy. Don't know yet.
Realm & Write. A roll and write style RPG inspired by my time with Crusader Kings III.
Slugblaster Loot Tables. Literally thought of this yesterday, just a bunch of random loot tables for the Slugblaster RPG. Could be fun?
Ahem...
So yeah that's it.
I'm still settling in here and don't follow a whole lot of active folks in the TTRPG scene so I'm gonna tag @monsterfactoryfanfic cause I really wanna know what they are working on or what their lists look like, be it videos or games or whatever.

Actual Royals
Because of current events, you can watch a lot of the stuff I wrote about a year ago in this blog post happen in real time:
Charles Philip Arthur George became the new monarch the instant his mother Queen Elizabeth II died. He quickly announced his regnal name, and chose King Charles III. Note that he could have picked anything! He could have become King Arthur I if he wanted to! That would have been awesome!
King Charles gained the title of King of the United Kingdom, but he also lost a bunch of titles that are either automatically bestowed on the crown prince, or were bestowed on him because he was the crown prince. He also gained fourteen (14!!!) more titles of king because of a slightly aggressive colonial past, but for example Tuvalu now has a king again. Canada too, I guess.
King Charles also gained the style of His Majesty, and lost the previous style of His Royal Highness.
The royal house of the United Kingdom is still House Windsor, even though it should have changed to House Mountbatten. However, Queen Elizabeth said fuck that declared that her descendants should belong to House Windsor in the 1960's.
In the rest of the royal family, there’s been a bunch of changes and reshuffling of titles. Camilla gained styles and titles, and is now Her Majesty, Queen Consort Camilla. Note that she is queen consort instead of queen because of - essentially - low ratings. Also note that queen consort is lower than queen, but prince consort is higher than prince because everything is made up and the points don't matter.
Prince William is now the crown prince and heir to the throne, and automatically gained a bunch of titles as a result. In addition to his previous titles, he is now also the Duke of Cornwall, and the Duke of Rothesay, making his wife Catherine the Duchess of Rothesay, Cornwall, and Cambridge. This also made their kids princes and princesses of Cornwall and Cambridge, but not of Rothesay, because Scotland.
Some titles also merged with the crown, foremost of these is the title of Prince of Wales which is currently vacant. This title does not automatically pass to the crown prince, and King Charles has to actually bestow the title on Prince William. Will he break 700 years of tradition? Who knows! (Magic 8-ball says: Very doubtful…)
Edit: Well, that went quick! King Charles named William Prince of Wales today, so even though he and his wife Catherine gained a bunch of ducal titles yesterday, they won't really be using those. Same goes for their kids who were princes and princesses of Cornwall and Cambridge for a day, but are now princes and princesses of Wales instead.
But the most important change of all is that King Carl XVI Gustaf is now one step closer to inheriting the throne of England! About 280 people need to be eliminated first, a minor detail, but once that happens we will rule England like we were meant to! 🇸🇪🇬🇧🇸🇪🇬🇧🇸🇪🇬🇧

The Royal Romance.
Love Everlasting.
A/N: I had a different name and plot for this fic when I first started it over a year ago. But after being in the RP community for more than a year, I've decided to write the current Royal Life of my favorite OTP.
Rated: Mature (at times can and will be Explicit. I'll be sure to change the rating when and if that happens). | Contains sexual content and strong language. (You know? The usual. Y'all should be used to this from me by now 😁) | Bolded and/or italicized words are conversations and thoughts of the characters. | Main Characters: King Marquise Rys (LI) and Queen Shanelle Miller-Rys (MC) | All Characters and names: (except MC and original characters created by me and/or other authors [their characters have been used in the story with their permission] ) are property of Pixelberry.
Current Word Count: 830 words. (may be slightly more or may be slightly less. Look, I stop counting after editing and re-editing and driving myself insane. 🤷🏾‍♀️)
Tag List: @choicesficwriterscreations
The Beginning.
Shanelle stood on the balcony of her duchy’s estate and watched her husband play a hybrid game of tag and hide and go seek with their daughter.
“Will you hold still? How am I supposed to catch you if you keep moving?!” He asked their daughter.
“Silly daddy! You’re not! That’s the point of the game!” she replied through giggles as she ran from him.
“Get back here!” he called out to her as ran after her.
She smiled to herself as she watched them. Their relationship is reminiscent of her relationship with her father. He dotes on Khari as much as he dotes on her and Cordonia.
Being the ruling Monarch is no easy task and she knows it but Marquise has led the kingdom for 8 years and she's been right by his side. He's a leader of the people. The same way his mother was. When they became the ruling monarchs Shanelle made education and healthcare her core missions for Cordonia. She wanted them both to be equally beneficial to the people and the nobility. And her husband has made sure that it's happened.
When it comes to politics, Marquise is an expert at the game they both play. He never loses his cool. Even when he wants to say fuck it and not give a shit, he understands that isn't an option for him. He keeps his emotions in check as he navigates the murky waters known as politics on the world's stage.
As Shanelle goes to lean against the stone banister she's stopped by her protruding pregnant belly. Being pregnant with twins - twin boys no less - is not the walk in the park that some led her to believe. The complications have thrown her entire schedule off but at the same time, she's thankful to be pregnant. Because there was a time she didn't know that she'd be able to have children.
Shortly after getting married Shanelle was pregnant. But unfortunately, she suffered a miscarriage that left her with uterine scarring. She was terrified to try again. But she also knew that per the Cordonian laws of ascension, an heir to the throne had to be produced within two years of her being married to her husband. So after many nights of prayer, they tried again, and the second time proved successful. They had a baby girl. A baby girl named Khari Noelle Rys. That baby girl will one day become the next Monarch of Cordonia. So being pregnant a third time was supposed to be easy. Except being pregnant has proven that life ain't easy.
She watches as her daughter tries unsuccessfully to find her dad.
“Daddy! Where are you?!” Khari calls out to her father as she looks for him.
Little did the Princess know, her daddy was right behind her snickering to himself.
“He's behind you! Turn around!” She silently tries to warn her daughter. But she was too late.
“Gotcha!” he said as he wrapped their daughter up in a hug and spun her around.
“You found me, daddy!”
“Indeed, I have my little one! And as my prize, I am going to cover you in kisses and tickles!” he declared.
Doing so caused their daughter to break out into a fit of squeals and giggles.
“No! Nooooo! Not that!”
“Yes! I will tickle you until you can't stand it anymore!”
Shanelle smiled as she watched them roll around in the field of flowers laughing and playing together. When they stopped both were smiling and breathless.
“Daddy?”
He turned to face her.
“Hmm? Yes, my love?”
Khari cups her daddy's face in her hands.
“I love you! Bunches and bunches!”
He smiled.
“I love you too, my Princess. Now let's go find your mother.”
“Okay!”
She watched them walk inside then smiled to herself.
Over the last few years, she's gotten to know him as the Father, the Husband, the King, and especially the Man. And even though each side of him is as complex and complicated as they come, she also knows that he loves and protects truly, honestly, wholeheartedly, and unconditionally. None more than their family, their friends, and especially their kingdom.
At his core, Marquise is a good man. Yes, he has a tendency to be a dick, but you can't sing with your angels without acknowledging that you danced with your demons. And he's got demons a mile long. But he's accepted them and has worked to change and become better. Why? Because of his wife. He had to change for her. Old habits had to die. She wouldn't accept anything less. She made it clear that she married him and NOT the clone of the elder Rys.
Shanelle and Marquise have come a long way both separately and together. Despite what many may think or assume about them, they don't live a fairytale life nor do they have a fairytale marriage.
But what they do have is Love Everlasting.
This is their love story.

for some reason my inbox isn’t loading and im tired of refreshing it to get it to work, so for anonymous who asked for dramas with villain romances. here’s a list of some of my favorites! im going to assume you’re cool with toxic/destructive relationships or dynamics as well
as the main romance
goodbye my princess has your name alll over it. machiavellian murder prince meet-cutes with a disney princess and wipes out a few branches of her family tree in the process. gorgeous scenery and costumes, and super for you if you like it dysfunctional/toxic and inescapably tragic
moon lovers: scarlet heart ryeo where the main character sort of gives us a mobius cha-cha slide on the anti-hero line. the editing and direction is kind of a mess in this show but it’s such a fucking ride and the OTP is a ton of fun if you like Soft For Only One Person as a trope
while definitely not in the same league as the prior two/it’s slice-of-life in a college setting, you could make a case for the main ship of cheese in the trap skewing this way-- the leads didnt like each other and the male lead makes a lot of Questionable Decisions. if you want to check out a modern-day kdrama where everyone is toxic, secret or que sera, sera might be fun for you
the villain has a crush/obsession/feelings
bridal mask’s shunji certainly fits the bill. he’s a japanese man living in korea during its occupation, and the female lead is a korean freedom fighter. he makes her his morality chain/hope spot and dude just gets progressively worse as the series goes.
tale of nokdu has yool mul, who was betrothed to the FL before the events of the drama, but then her family was wiped out and the arranged marriage was cancelled. he has a lil problem with letting go
the princess man’s second male lead is pretty similar in some ways to the SML in nokdu, except he’s less politically powerful and more of a Henchman #1-type vibe for the drama’s main antagonist (who is also the female lead’s father, in a fun twist!). the main leads of this drama are also lovers-to-enemies-back-to-lovers, so you might enjoy that flavor of dysfunction as well
love and redemption has hao chen, god of heaven, who made the female lead in a frankenstein lab out of the body of the boyfriend he cosmically roofied then put in a lamp for 2000 years is intent on getting the god of war’s earthly reincarnation back to his side
arthdal chronicles has tanya, an apprentice wisewoman who is forcibly enslaved, and saya, a blue-and-orange morality type who wants to help her gain power as a religious figurehead. the show also features tagon and taeahla, who are both villainous and in love with each other
empress ki, where the titular character just gathers a harem of powerful men. who counts as a villain is definitely a sliding scale in this drama so choose your own adventure there :’D. monarch industry/the rebel princess is similar
dali and the cocky prince’s second male lead is a chaebol and an ex-boyfriend of the female lead and he’s a real piece of shit. not as shitty, but the main antagonistic force of one spring night is also the second male lead/the female lead’s current then ex-boyfriend
--
any of my followers have other suggestions? i feel like im missing some obvious ones

If you liked Dragon Age Masterlist
If you’re anything like me, you’re into niche market, high fantasy, single player RPGs, preferably with a historical setting and romance options. So if you’re looking for a new game, here I am with some suggestions!
Sorted by studio:
Bethesda:
Oblivion (2006)
“In the shadow of evil, a hero will rise from the ashes of a fallen empire. The gates have been opened, and the battle has begun. Only one thing can save the world from Mehrunes Dagon and the demonic hordes of Oblivion. The true heir of the Septim line must be found and restored to the Imperial throne. The fate of the world rests in the hands of one. Find him, and shut the jaws of Oblivion.”
The Elder Scrolls series were my gateway into RPGs and hold a special place in my heart. Oblivion features a wide open world, immersive combat, and the ability to customize race, class, and gender.
Skyrim (2011)
“The Empire of Tamriel is on the edge. The High King of Skyrim has been murdered. Alliances form as claims to the throne are made. In the midst of this conflict, a far more dangerous, ancient evil is awakened. Dragons, long lost to the passages of the Elder Scrolls, have returned to Tamriel. The future of Skyrim, even the Empire itself, hangs in the balance as they wait for the prophesized Dragonborn to come; a hero born with the power of The Voice, and the only one who can stand amongst the dragons.”
I have sunk so many hours into this game and still have not experienced all there is to experience. Just like Oblivion, Skyrim offers the ability to customize your character and find a play style that suits you. A huge open world offers tons of opportunity for exploration and questing. You could play this game many, many hours and not even touch the main quest if you wanted to.
BioWare:
Mass Effect Legendary Edition (2021)
Just do it. Just fucking do it I’m still sobbing I’ve never had a game wreck me in this way. I might possibly like it more than Dragon Age which feels sacrilegious to say but it was so good. You follow Commander Shepard (customizable) for three whole games and the choices have serious consequences. Also, romance. Truthfully this might be the most well written storyline I’ve ever seen in a video game. Also, same studio as Dragon Age.
CD Projekt:
The Witcher III: Wild Hunt (2015)
Tumblr media
I’ll let the website description speak for itself, but Witcher III was good enough that I didn’t mind being forced to play as a man (those who know me know that I exclusively prefer to play women and often dislike games where I can’t do so)! The characters that make up this story are captivating and suck you into their world, leaving you with some tough choices to make. Also, bonus points for romance! (Yen is one of my all time favorite characters, Triss never stood a chance for me. Sorry Triss fans 😂)
Larian:
Divinity Original Sin 2 (2017)
“The Divine is dead. The Void approaches. And the powers lying dormant within you are soon to awaken. Choose your role in a BAFTA-winning story, and explore a world that reacts to who you are, and the choices you make. With five races to choose from, and an adventure playable solo or as a party of up to four, lay waste to an oppressive order in a world afraid of magic. Become the God the world so desperately needs.”
Full disclosure, I have not finished playing this one yet and will update when I do, but what I’ve played so far has been great! A classic, turn-based RPG that allows you a wide range of character customization. I find this game incredibly satisfying to be a rogue (my preferred class) because it lets me live my dream of throwing knives at people. Also, romance!
Baldur’s Gate III beta (2020)
“An ancient evil has returned to Baldur's Gate, intent on devouring it from the inside out. The fate of Faerûn lies in your hands. Alone, you may resist. But together, you can overcome. Gather your party.”
Fair warning, as of my most recent update to this post (March 30th, 2021) this game is still in a beta phase, which means it is NOT complete and has aspects that are missing, glitchy, or subject to change. With that being said, I’m so obsessed. It’s so, so good already and is only getting better. Another wide open world to explore with a group of companions with strong and sometimes clashing personalities, choices are abundant in this game and will affect how your party members think of you. This game so far gives me the feeling that choices are complicated and aren’t always easy to tell which is morally right, which I personally love. Also, I can be a sarcastic ass with a good heart, which is always fun. Astarion basically owns me now, but if you can resist him there are plentiful other romance choices as well! Customization is already a wider range than I’ve seen in most RPGs and they haven’t even finished the character creator yet, which has me SO excited for the finished product. Also - good hair?!??!! I love it!
Lionhead:
Fable III (2010)
“Lead a revolution to take control of Albion, fight alongside your people, and experience love and loss while preparing to defend the kingdom against a looming threat. Your choices as ruler will lead to consequences felt across the entire land.”
I’ll be honest, this one isn’t my favorite on the list, but was good enough to still make it! This game allows you to choose between playing as the prince or the princess on a quest to save your kingdom from itself, and then a greater threat as well. The game takes place in a kingdom loosely modeled after industrial England, and what did score it some major points were (SPOILER WARNING - skip the purple if you don’t want to know!) that the last act of the game lets you play as the monarch, where you are forced to make some tough decisions in order to save your kingdom. It is very easy to back yourself into a corner, pinch pennies in order to fund the army and save the kingdom, but make your citizens hate you because of it. You’re gonna have to be very, very careful, which is something I did really enjoy about this game. (I’ve heard Fable II was better, and that’s also on my list to try, will update in the future!)
Nintendo:
Fire Emblem Three Houses (2019)
“War is coming to the continent of Fódlan. Here, order is maintained by the Church of Seiros, which hosts the prestigious Officer’s Academy within its headquarters. You are invited to teach one of its three mighty houses, each comprised of students brimming with personality and represented by a royal from one of three territories. As their professor, you must lead your students in their academic lives and in turn-based, tactical RPG battles wrought with strategic, new twists to overcome. Which house, and which path, will you choose?”
Currently playing this one and I’m so addicted! This one is slightly outside of my usual taste but it has made me interested in playing more games like it. The player controls Byleth (you can rename them if you wish), who becomes a professor of combat and battle tactics despite their young age at a monastery and finds themself in charge of a house of students. Battles are tactics and strategy based and classes are highly customizable. I sunk like 30 hours into this game in the last three days. I won’t say more about the plot to avoid spoilers, but it’s been a ton of fun and also has slow burn romance
Spiders:
Greedfall (2019)
Tumblr media
This game destroyed my soul in the best way and when I finished it I immediately started a new game to play it again. You play as Lady or Lord De Sardet, Legate of the Congregation of Merchants and effectively the right hand of your cousin, who has been appointed governor of your new colony on the island. While I enjoy the combat in this game, which allows you the choice between one handed, two handed, magic, and pistols or rifles (save that ammo for when you really need it!), this game focuses heavily on diplomacy and relations. Be careful what information you give to whom and how you treat every decision. The enemies you make early on might be people you need on your side later. I also love that choices aren’t always clearly right or wrong, and often are more complicated than they first appear. Even the best intentions can sometimes go awry.
Ubisoft:
Assassin’s Creed, Syndicate (2015)
“London, 1868. In the heart of the Industrial Revolution, lead your underworld organization and grow your influence to fight those who exploit the less privileged in the name of progress”
Another one that I’ll admit, I haven’t finished, and is definitely the odd one out on the list because it’s set in Victorian England, but I was having fun with what I had played so far before Greedfall distracted me. In this game, you alternate between controlling twins Jacob and Evie Frye as you explore and liberate London while meeting famous historical figures and running a gang on the side.
Assassin’s Creed, Origins (2017)
“Ancient Egypt, a land of majesty and intrigue, is disappearing in a ruthless fight for power. Unveil dark secrets and forgotten myths as you go back to the one founding moment: The Origins of the Assassin’s Brotherhood.”
In the spirit of honesty, I haven’t started this one yet, but I am so confident that I’m gonna love it when I do that it’s here anyway. I’ve purchased it, and will get to it soon, I swear! In the meantime, I wanted to put it here because I’m confident some of you will enjoy it. Will come back with a review once I know more.
Assassin’s Creed, Odyssey (2018)
“Write your own epic odyssey and become a legendary Spartan hero in Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey, an inspiring adventure where you must forge your destiny and define your own path in a world on the brink of tearing itself apart. Influence how history unfolds as you experience a rich and ever-changing world shaped by your decisions.”
Y’all this game owned my soul for a while. I’ve sunk so many hours into it. You have a choice to play as either Kassandra or Alexios and navigate the wonders of Ancient Greece. The world is stunning, the choices are important, and this game took a big step for the assassins creed series in becoming a true RPG. I can’t recommend this one enough, you should absolutely go for it!
Assassin’s Creed, Valhalla (2020)
“Become Eivor, a legendary Viking warrior. Explore England's Dark Ages as you raid your enemies, grow your settlement, and build your political power in the quest to earn a place among the gods in Valhalla.”
This game is brand new, hot off the press, and has already been a massive hit. I have only JUST started playing it and am about an hour in, but so far so good! It’s here on my recommendations list because of its wild popularity and because I’ve already enjoyed other games in this series, so I feel confident that some of my fellow dragon age fans will enjoy it. Will update again once I get further in.
Other games on my To Be Played list (otherwise known as things I don’t want to recommend because I know almost nothing about them but will update here after I know more)
-Pillars of Eternity 1 and 2
-Horizon Zero Dawn
-Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag
-Fable 1 and 2
-Kingdoms of Amalur
-Breath of the Wild
-Crimson Desert (not out yet but I’m intrigued)

She's very calm towards Flare aswell and tries to make her feel comfortable. She also loves singing with her wand with Shine, their a pretty good duo! (Not as good as Shine and Boots thou). He also has the ability to move his rat tail.
(also the reason he doesn't have any eyelights is well uh.. It happened when he started to slowly despise Jesse and despise gaurdians, like the eyelights started to slowly dissappear and they completely disappeared once he argued with Jesse and left her the next day.)

He started to get tired of their same everyday problems, angryness, annoyance, everything. He was tired of humans. One day, he met Chloe and she started telling him her plans and thoughts about gaurdians and humans and about destroying and taking over the gaurdians, Gold, agreed. Gold started to despise gaurdians, despise humans, despise protection. He believe Shadow demons were victorious and were a better future for this world then gaurdians and humans. So one day, after an argument with Jesse, he abandoned them and left them for Chloe and started being Chloe's minion/butler.

Thou she uses Gold, aka her butler/minion, to attack for her since she's also a bit lazy lmao.
She has the ability to enter humans' dreams like everyone else but SHE'S VERY DANGEROUS CAUSE SHE CAN MAKE THE DREAM BECOME MELTY AND GLITCHY, DAMAGING THE HUMAN BRAIN A BIT WHICH ISN'T GOOD.
She has the ability to travel through multiverses and enter shadow pipes like other shadow demons.
Her voice and body will glitch out sometimes and when she teleports inside a dream, she might glitch out a bit aswell like if a gaurdian is failing to enter a human dream.
And her Shadow Demon form is behind her, which she rarely forms into, but it's always behind her, mimicking every action she does. Thou, only Shadow Demons can see her form.

I have an Irish ask! How did the regional kings hierarchy work - was there a high king irl? How did you rule, and what over, and how did you get to be high king, if so? (From - a descendant of the Kings of Desmond, but very confused about what's shit, and what's legit, in Irish History?
Kingship in an Irish context is an endlessly complicated topic, and it seems like for every question we get, someone’s written or plans to write a dissertation on it. You accidentally tripped over a landmine when asking me this one. Which is DEFINITELY not your fault, I don’t resent you for it, it just means you are getting a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGG answer.
But. Anyway. Kingship. I will preface anything I say with the acknowledgment that I am a mythological literature person, not necessarily a law/contracts/history person. Also that, tragically, there are a LOT of law tracts that remain untranslated. (And a lot of things. In general.)
So, this is…complicated, since a LOT of the work in the legal tradition revolves around the notion of kingship (seriously, my closest friend in the department is a legal scholar and we have had some long bitchfests about how much attention is paid to kingship VS the common people, simply because…..guess who was paying for these manuscripts to be made? Yep, it ain’t Farmer Cormac. The single most important thing you can ever remember about these texts is that they were made by and for an elite audience); you have a lot of kings in a fairly condensed space, and it gets to the point of whether we should even really properly translate rí as “king” or whether a more generic term like “leader” is actually more accurate, though it IS cognate with Latin “Rex” and Gaulish “Rix.” (Aka “Vercingetorix”, “Cunorix”, “Asterix”…all the most important “Rix”s of the ancient world.) So. Kings. Definitely kings. But not really in any way we would generally consider “kings” to be. Fergus Kelly estimated that there could be as many as 150 KINGS throughout Ireland between the 5th-12th centuries (17), which….on a relatively small island that holds only about 5 million people in the present….**150**.
Traditionally, the idea of a singular high king of Ireland was….okay, so you have a LOT of guys who claim to be “King of Ireland,” but there’s a question of how real that power actually was, how much power they ACTUALLY wielded, and how stable they actually were. And, on one hand “King of Tara” is generally taken to be synonymous with “king of Ireland”, (hence the Uí Néill’s LONG claim to power), but there are a lot of issues with that one, and it’s something that’s a matter of debate, not the least because it seems like the Uí Néill…..might have influenced the literature ever so slightly as a way of bolstering their own claims (Jaski, Early Irish Kingship and Succession, 215). Basically, no evidence that the kings of Munster paid tribute to the kings of Tara before the 9th century, making the claim that the King of Tara = King of ALL Ireland doubtful.
And….well, I’ll let Bart Jaski explain the title of ardrí (high king), since he’s the man with the big book on it: “To keep up with [the political developments of Brían Boru’s victory at the Battle of Clontarf], the annalists of the tenth century introduce the title ‘high-king’ (ardri) as a title of recognition or flattery to denote a powerful king who achieved a remarkable domination over others. In later historiography, the old kingship of Tara came to be regarded as the ‘high-kingship’ of Ireland, which is both an anachronism and an inaccurate estimation of what the kingship of Tara meant, both in pre-historic times as in the documentary period. The title of rex Hiberniae given to the kings of Tara Domnall of Cenél Conaill and his grandson Loingsech does not lend support to the existence of a ‘high kingship’. as they were apparently subjectively awarded by partisan annalists and others.”
Fergus Kelly was more to the point, “The king of Ireland (rí Érenn), who figures so prominently in the sagas, is rarely mentioned in the law-texts. Though the idea of a kingship of the whole isalnd had already gained currency by the 7th century, no Irish king ever managed to make it a reality, and most law-texts do not even provide for such a possibility” (18).
Charles-Edwards disputed this conclusion in Early Christian Ireland (okay, technically, he disputed Binchy’s conclusions, but this line of thinking), discussing some further references to a single king of Ireland binding the other kings of Ireland to him, as Conchobar was said to have done with the men of Ulster, as well as the legal term tríath, with a line from an 8th century law text being “He is a burdensome tríath who penetrates Ireland of peoples from sea to sea” (519). Liam Bhreatnach suggested in his article ‘Ardrí as an old compound,” as the name suggests, that the term itself, while little used, is old. I can’t get ahold of it at present, but I’m going to presume he did make a solid case, given that Carey, Jaski, and Charles-Edwards all cite him, and they are all careful, respectable scholars. What John Carey would point out in “From David to Labraid” is that actually, several of those early references were in fact to the Christian as opposed to an earthly deity. AKA “The ULTIMATE high king, the highest of kings” (pg. 21-23). Something suggested by Carey in that same article is that the Church MIGHT have promoted the idea of high kingship as a way of appealing to kings who would be interested in it in exchange for their support of Christianity; a quid pro quo.
Basically, the question of the extent of the high king’s power, both in a Christian and pre-Christian context, is HIGHLY controversial and something I reckon will never fully be satisfactorily resolved, not the least because it also has the misfortune of featuring two favorite, perennial topics of many Celticists: Etymological arguments and kingship. What I think we CAN gather from the debate is that it was very far from a SOLID title, more a matter of individual monarchs as opposed to stable dynasties. Medieval Ireland did not have a Versailles and a Louis XIV, there was not a singular sun king who decided their fates.
Now, in general, kingship was not necessarily held with the same iron grip that you would see with, say, the Plantagenets in England. Primogeniture was not necessarily a thing here. You did have to be a nobleman to be king (Sorry, Farmer Cormac, you’re out, get back to your field, peasant), and you had to be descended from a king in either the first or the second degree to be king, but you did NOT have to be the firstborn son. If you have seven kids and the youngest is the only one who is qualified to lead….yep, Junior takes the lot. So, that’s the first thing. There’s a section of Mac Firbis’ Great Book of Genealogies (which is a LATE text, but includes basically a scrapbook of older material) that references that exact scenario. Youngest can take it, eldest can take it, eldest PROBABLY has a higher shot of it because…older, more time to be groomed for the kingship, more time to gather people loyal to him, etc. But. Like. All of the kids have a shot, and depending on where they’re fostered off to, their foster families will very likely support them if they want to make a bid for the kingship. (Irish dynastic politics were VERY turbulent.)
A king is elected to the tribe through the popular acclamation of their major clients/family members; their power, while it is something that is expected to some extent, is not a GIVEN to the same extent. (Jaski 212). Which. Is where the role of tánaiste comes in, which is a late development, but it irons things out so it’s like “Okay, when the old fuck dies, this dude is king.” In a literary context, this is also why Bres’ kingship is kind of doomed from the beginning. Because it’s the WOMEN of the Tuatha dé who support his kingship, not the men.
And, of course, even if Junior does take the throne, that does NOT mean that his brother’s kids are out of the running when Junior dies (or, more to the point, they might try to speed things along and arrange for a “hunting accident” to happen.) Because of the three generation requirement to maintain noble status, there was quite a bit of infighting (Jaski 197), as different offshoots of a given high king will want the throne in order to maintain their noble rank. Knives Out: The Medieval Ireland edition.
One story that deals with this is Echtra mac nEchdach Mugmedóin (Adventures of the Sons of Eochaid Mugmedóin), which discusses how the future Niall of the Nine Hostages, born the son of a Saxon slave and the king of Ireland, hated by his stepmother, and the youngest of the lot of the sons ends up taking the kingship anyway. (Answer: He’s down to sleep with an old hag. Who is also the sovereignty of Ireland. And is like “Okay, that was some good D, here’s how you get the kingship now.”) Now, this is primarily a literary as opposed to a historical story, but…..well….that’s where a lot of our stuff for this. Does come from. For better or worse. And I’m not just saying that because I’m currently procrastinating on working on an edition of that very text.
So, on the question of “How to rule.” The main relationship was between an overking-client king. So, let’s say that I am an underking in….IDK. Munster. What can I say? I like Munster. I’m not even a pronvincial king, but I’ve got my tuath, I’m chilling out, I’ve got my cattle, I’ve got some Nemed-class people with me, I’ve got a bit of land, and a couple of those people we don’t really talk about because they’re not important (Aka “Commoners, slaves, etc.” The people who do the work that the more privileged classes CANNOT do, like chop wood.)
Now, let’s say that you’re a provincial king, King of Munster. Your father’s just died, you’ve become king, or, alternatively, you’ve beaten the shit out of the other candidates, and you roll up to my people. Now, I could probably fight, but like. That’s a way to. Die. And maybe I do want the protection that comes from a Lord-Client relationship, since, hey, that DOES mean that you’re responsible for me. And if the King of Connacht rolls up and is like “Hey, I want to attack you and steal your cattle” you can roll up and be like “Hey, want to die?” Also, if one of your OTHER subjects kills a man in my tuath, you are expected to mediate, with me taking a hostage from your court until everything’s resolved, and you and I both getting a part of the resulting settlement (Kelly 23). And, of course, I’ll support you as well. It’s a mutual client relationship, just….an inherently uneven one. Most of the powerful subject kings, who were free but still subject to an overking were related to that king by a shared kinship, but there was a double edged sword: I support you, and then your brother Eochaid comes to the throne, I’m up Shit River with no paddle (Jaski 206). If I’m particularly useful/powerful to you, you might even foster one of your kids with me, so I can support him politically later down the line. (And also strengthen the relationship between our two peoples; that kid is going to be more mine than yours by the time that his fosterage is over, he will call you athair and me datai; one is a more formal term meaning “father,” [cognate with Latin pater and English father] one is more like “dad” and is cognate with the Welsh dat. Which seems to be related to….yep, the English diminutive dad.) Peter Parkes rather magnificently talks about this system as: “Clientage dressed in a false plumage of kinship: Cuckold consanguinity.” (”When Milk Was Thicker Than Water?”, Comparative Studies in Society and History 6.3, pg. 606)
So, what would happen there? Well, the system of overking-client king was held together much in the same way as the relationship between individuals would be, ie through hostages. The giving of hostages is something that was EMBEDDED in the legal system. So, you and I would proceed to haggle over who I have to hand over. Now, I don’t want you to take someone too important, you will want to take the most important person you can. I’ll try to get you to take my third cousin twice removed who I might see once every few years, Conall, you’ll try to get one of my kids. And, let’s be real, since you have the most power in this situation, you’ll probably fucking win. “He who has the sword makes the rules”- NOT an official medieval Irish legal statement, but it might as well be. Now, it should be emphasized that hostages were HIGHLY respected and treated well, there was no particular stigma against someone who was a hostage at some point, and you do have accounts of hostages eating at the king’s table, in a position that denotes a degree of intimacy and companionship. And a couple who are brutally executed or maimed when their kings broke the terms of the agreement, but, hey, only a 2% murder rate or so; very good for the times. It could be that the king’s son had a role when it came to making sure the hostages were cared for. But there’s not been all that much work done on it and a lot of this is being remembered second hand from a PhD student in our department who did a STELLAR lecture on the topic; if and when he decides to formally publish it, I’ll probably make a big deal over it. Because….this shit is IMPORTANT.
This is also why it’s Niall of the Nine Hostages. Because that’s how many peoples he extracted hostages from, that is a sign of his power as a king. You could NOT be king of Ireland without hostages. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Like, how are you going to be sure that your supporters are going to stick with you? And even if they do, where’s the signs of your authority? Why do you expect anyone to take you seriously?
So, a king of Ireland’s reign would be held together by a similar system, whether it’s provincial or the famous ardri. A high king would take hostages from their client kings as a way of showing off their power and authority, and they would probably show them off when making a circuit of their territory. Your ancestor would definitely have had a group of hostages taken from the athech-thúatha, or client peoples. The Triads put it slightly more succinctly: “[220] Three things that constitute a king: a contract with other kings, the feast of Tara, abundance during his reign.”
Now, again, this is an idealized literary context, but we’ve discussed the first one, the contractural nature. The feis Temro, or the Feast of Tara, was something that a High King of Ireland HAD to do as a way of securing his reign, and in the early days at least it seemed to involve some sort of marriage/sexual ritual with a representative of the goddess of sovereignty, a living embodiment of the land, and it would involve imbibing some sort of drink offered to him by her as well. (This is why Eochaid Airem HAS to marry Étain, because he needs a queen to have his feis Temro and become a king. This is also why Niall of the Nine Hostages secured his reign via sleeping with aforementioned hag.)
And there were a number of different taboos and responsibilities tied to said kingship. For example, in The Tidings of Conchobar Mac Nessa, it is said that “Now Conchobar himself used to give them the (the feast of) Samaim because of the assembly of the great host. It was needful to provide for the great multitude, because everyone of the Ulstermen who would not come to Emain in Samain lost his senses, and on the morrow his barrow and his grave and his tombstone were placed.” The Adventures of Nera also features Medb and Aillil throwing a feast on the day of Samain for the entirety of the province. Baile in Scáil features Conn rising every day so that he can go onto the ramparts of Tara with his druids and poets to defend it from the possibility of otherworldly attack. Another obligation was “the Prince’s truth,” the idea that the king, when giving out judgements, should be able to INTUIT the true answer. Giving a false judgement = ruin for the land, everything goes to shit, the harvests fails, cattle die, aliens invade (okay….maybe not, but like. it would be cool if they did), the king of Leinster steals your wife, etc. until the bad king is replaced. (It has been SUGGESTED that that might be the reason for some of the bog bodies. Possibly.) He also HAD to go out with a retinue when he was out hunting, a king who didn’t lost his honor price, same as if he’d used an instrument of MANUAL LABOR (the horror, the shock) (Kelly 19). For what it’s worth, I do know of at least one case in….I believe the 16th century where a woman claimed that the king was the father of her child, there was no one who could dispute it since he was alone, he took a shine to the child anyway, and BOOM heir. Which further shows one of the social dangers of a king on his own.
More specific ones to each province are laid out in the Book of Rights, which Myles Dillon did an edition of in “Taboos of the Kings of Ireland”. An example (chosen at random) includes, “The five prohibitions of the king of Munster: to hold a court before celebrating the feast of Loch Lern from one Monday to the next; to spend a wet autumn night before winter in Letrecha, to camp for nine days on the Suir, to hold a meeting at the boundary near Gabruan ; to hear the groans of the women of Mag Feimin in their oppression. And his five prescriptions : to despoil Cruachain at the call of the cuckoo; to burn the Laigin to the north of Gabair; to chant the Passion in Lent at Cashel; to travel over Sliab Cua with a company of fifty after pacifying the south of Ireland; to go with a dark grey army on Tuesday across Mag nAlbe.”
Either way, in Ye Olde Days, there was definitely an element of protecting the people of the region from the possibility of supernatural attack. That would obviously die down a little with the coming of Christianity, I don’t know whether a king in the 15th century, for example, would be expected to keep to it that rigorously, I lean towards “no” personally since this is generally talked about as an outdated custom, but it remained a popular trope in medieval literature. Dillon himself points out that, given that many of the taboos mentioned in here were only recorded in the 14th century, they were likely considered to be an odd, antiquarian quirk. That being said…..it’s ALL tied into the kingship, the idea of the king being tied to a certain series of obligations, the mutual relationship between king and people.
Now, if a king failed in his duties and taboos, he could be ousted. Like “you fucked up, buster, get packing.” Some examples of kings who lost their sovereignty include Bres mac Elatha (my BOY, my SON, my ANGEL, my…..little piece of shit), who was satirized by a bard (this is why people REALLY tend to underline the power of bards, because like. This was an ACKNOWLEDGED power of theirs. They were held in a heady mix of respect and fear for this one), Fergus mac Roiche (didn’t lose it because of incompetence per se, but did hand it over to Conchobar, and the men of Ulster, inexplicably, liked Conchobar more, which….their mistake but.), and Congal Cáech (whose bid for king of Tara was, according to legend at least, ruined by an unfortunate bee sting. In his eye. Whether he was actually king of Tara is something that seems to be slightly disputed.) People often will ask me, when I mention how much I love Bres, why I love him so much, and I feel like the answer to that….there are a hundred answers, depending on my mood, and this is NOT a Bres post, but the one most relevant to the overall topic at hand is that he really experienced the full kingship experience: The rise, the fall, the absolute tumultuous political reality of a 9th century king, albeit a fictionalized one.

Quick Thoughts on The Royal Heir, Book 1 Chapter 1
• We're back! Hopefully with a better series this time, but I'm not going to keep my hopes too high.
• If my QTs are clogging up your dash, I recommend you block these particular tags: #trh quick thoughts, #trh qts, and optionally #long post.
• Much like my Book 3 QTs, I will be exploring as many playthroughs as I possibly can to see how each LI's route is being written. Last book, this experiment definitely helped me figure out that they were putting more effort into some characters and less into others, and I'd still like to keep an eye out for these things as much as possible.
• I feel this QT might be shorter than my usual (edit: joke's on me - it's not!! 🙈), mostly because the opening chapter itself is...pretty light, and is mostly meant for us to spend time and have fun with our chosen LI. Plus a tiny smidgen of buildup to the premise, which is having a child in Cordonia. But I do have a theory about the overall theme that I'm going to be expanding on towards the end of the chapter.
• Okay that's it for preliminary explanations, it's time for me to start with the chapter! XD
• Ooh. Oooooooh. This loading page now has tidbits about Cordonian society!! Interesting.
Tumblr media
• Title: Happily Ever Afterwards
Alternative Title: Be Grateful We're Letting You Have This Much Sex For Free This Week, Because That's The Last Time It's Happening.
• I'm extremely offended they're making me wear that Pepto Bismol outfit again.
Tumblr media
...thanks so much for reminding me you still don't care about Hana, PB! 🙄 Everyone else remains to be some version of "loyal", but Hana is still considered more for her skills than for her own steadfastness, even though she was the most hardcore-loyal of the four (SHE LEFT HER FREAKING HOME. HER FREAKING FAMILY. FOR YOU. While the other three were certainly loyal and honorable to the MC, they definitely didn't have to completely cut ties with their families to do right by the MC).
• The "fairytale" aesthetics of the frame story were what drew people into TRR in the first place, so it's not too surprising that the LIs and MC give a nod to the flagship series with a "once upon a time". If you're with Liam, it goes straight from "falling in love with the Prince" to what his relationship with her taught him, before the happily ever after. If you're with one of the other three LIs, it specifies that she came there for Liam but fell for someone else. Sounds a lot like Maxwell's book 😄 In Maxwell's playthrough, in fact, there is a reference to it when the MC calls him a "famous author".
Tumblr media
(Screenshots organized as follows: 1 - Liam, 2 - Drake, 3 - Maxwell, 4 - Hana. Liam's and Hana's are my own. Drake's from @thefirstcourtesan, and Maxwell's from Kaitlyn Walker's YouTube channel).
The other interesting thing to note is that in Liam's playthrough, he leads the narration. While in everyone else's the MC is the one who steers it. One reason I can think of is that the narrative still treats this story as Liam's story as much as it is the MC's (if I'm right about the theme) - which...has honestly always been a sore point with the fanbase in TRR. That would depend on how us and our baby are now further involved with Cordonia in the story. Another factor for why she leads the narration...could be that essentially, the MC took initiative in the other three relationships, while in Liam's case it was he who took a more active role by proposing to her.
• The little story ends with this question from the MC:
Question: But what happens after Happily Ever After?
Answer: Mess. In Cordonia it's always mess.
• Cordonians (specifically the upper classes, since I don't know enough about the common populace to tell, since they're, yknow, practically invisible) are addicted to tea, apples and fucking shit up where they don't even need to.
• ANYWAY. What (literally) happens after 'happily ever after' is a tropical honeymoon on Liam's private island. In the case of the other three, he allows them access to the place and gives the staff instructions on making the stay comfortable for them.
• Now, since Liam owns the island and has probably visited it a could times, he shows more familiarity with it. He tells his wife that on previous trips the island had more rustic accommodations, but the villa they're now staying in was prepared recently. Additionally, the butler welcomes Hana, Maxwell and Drake as newcomers to the island, considering it's their first time. With Liam, there is an air of familiarity - he calls the butler by his name (Javier) and enquires about him and his wife (Mariana) - to show us perhaps how familiar he is with this holiday spot.
• Why the hell does everyone call Liam "Your Highness"? It's been two whole books since he became King, and the proper title for a monarch is "Your Majesty". How is it that Constantine gets to rake the MC over the coals for calling him Your Highness, yet Liam has to hear this from practically everyone. From Javier to freakin' Protocol-Monitor-Madeleine! The disrespect, I tell you!
• Okay so we're having a candlelit dinner by the ocean, and we get our first OOTD. Cute beach dress, has bright flowers and some crochet work on the bodice. I bought it because I couldn't bear to have Esther stay another minute in that Pepto Bismol of a dress.
• LOL @ all the LI responses to "this spot is right where the sharks are!"
• Tuna sashimi and pineapple aioli, huh? I have never had either so idek what that's supposed to taste like (someone on this writing team likes pineapples). I remember having to cut down on tuna during pregnancy, which meant no more Subway sandwiches since the tuna sub was the only one I liked at the time. IIRC most of my family were also cautioning me against pineapples and papaya during my first trimester!
• My gosh this butler doesn't waste much time jumping into assumptions huh?
• Also Javier, why is Cordonia's future so dependent on the well-being of my foetus even if I'm not ruling the country?
• Does Cordonia have sex ed? My money is on no. (esp in the Hana route).
• So there are two parts to the way the premise of wanting to have kids is built up in this sequence. In the first part, the LI impresses upon the MC the need to have children soon after the wedding. The second part addresses the urgency - the "why right now?" factor, and explores the LI's personal emotions towards having children. This bit also feels a bit like a follow-up to the Valtoria balcony scene in Chapter 15.
• The first part is pretty similar for Drake, Hana and Maxwell - all three of whom are now married to a Duchess and are aware that securing the duchy is important. They word it in their own distinctive styles, but the gist is pretty much the same. In Liam's case, since he is the king of the country, he speaks more about Cordonia and its tensions with neighbouring countries.
Tumblr media
Take note of this because I'll be returning to this point later. (also who are the writers trying to convince about Cordonia's size. "Small kingdom" my ass).
• I'll be going by the LIs' personal reasons to have a baby now, one by one, along with a summary of their views on children in the Valtoria balcony scene last book (since this scene clearly references that diamond scene if you've bought it last book).
Tumblr media
(Screenshots: Liam's and Hana's screenshots are mine, Drake's is from @thefirstcourtesan and Maxwell's is from Kaitlyn Walker's YouTube channel)
- Liam: Liam's love for family and need for children is well-known throughout the series. In Book 1, he's dropped hints about wanting to have a different kind of family dynamic from the one he'd experienced as a child, and in Book 2 there were multiple references to wanting to not be Constantine - both as a King and as a father. In the balcony scene in Book 3, Chapter 15, Liam tells us a number of things - about the value of having more heirs for succession, of him always dreaming of having at least 3 children, about Kenna, Cordonia's most legendary warrior queen which leads to an interesting factoid about how the rules of successions for both the throne and duchies are not gender-specific (he also cites Olivia and Penelope as being in line to inherit their duchies). In this sequence Liam undoubtedly has more to say about the political aspect of having an heir than the personal, but his statement about "someone missing" in their lives is of no surprise when he's been enthusiastic about kids for three books straight.
- Drake: Drake perhaps gets the lengthiest 'personal' bit of all, revolving around his eagerness to be a father and his own family history. This scene has Drake speaking of wanting a child with "your eyes and my hair", but most of all of Savannah and her little family, and wanting the happiness his sister is experiencing now. The writing often manages to tie Drake's thoughts about his future family with his past: in the Valtoria balcony scene, his memories of his father and his desire to bring up his own kids the way Jackson did are dominant in the conversation on children. He speaks at length about the absence of a proper 'home' so far in his life (stating that his room at the palace always felt like "a room in someone else's house") and how high on his priority list the prospect of having children is. The Valtoria scene shows him eager to have kids asap, and this scene builds up the same urgency. You're left in no doubt that he wants those kids now.
• Maxwell: Maxwell's route of this scene soundly pretty sudden, tbh. In his Valtoria scene, Maxwell expressed doubt and nervousness when it came to children, citing the example of Bartie ("I love palling around with little Bartie and everything, but if he bonks his head or something, I can just hand him back to Savannah. When it's your kid, you're the one people hand him to."). While this is referenced in TRH's dialogue when Maxwell jokes about forgetting diapers and baby socks - it's a pretty big jump from the man who didn't exactly feel ready to have children yet, and not enough work was done to justify that shift. This could be somewhat excused in the beginning of Book 3, when the narrative had just begun to treat him like an LI, but they've had an entire damn book and several months after to reflect on how to write him properly. That is...if they actually gave a damn.
- Hana: They don't even have the excuse of "relatively new LI" in Hana's case. Because she is the lone female LI married to a female MC, her scene should have been a lot more extensive and explored her urgency to have children so soon after their wedding, a whole lot more. There are tiny changes, like the one where she hints at the "logistical concerns" that come with two women considering a family, and where she speaks of giving her child the childhood she never had (which, frankly, is an extremely vague statement and could be applicable to more than one character in Cordonia). But there is urgency that, again, isn't properly explained in the scene. Even Hana's Valtoria scene doesn't have much that would explain why she would want a child barely weeks after her wedding. The Valtoria scene does have her outlining her dreams for the duchy (along with a joke about her enacting "Beauty and the Beast") and her happiness at the thought of being a mother (she maintains that out of the things expected of her, motherhood is the one she looked forward to). They could have spent some time thinking up a reason for why Hana would rush this, even before anything has happened, or outlined something personal and not ultra-generic. Both Maxwell and Hana deserved a lot better than this.
• Maxwell speaks about possibly forgetting diapers (PLS NO MAXWELL NO) and baby socks (um okay not as bad but depends on the climate), and one of the MC's dialogue options is to say..."diapers and socks are overrated". Guys your kid won't care how much fun you are when they have a bum rash.
• A-ha! Diamond scene. First-chapter diamond love scenes always come cheap in these series' (12 diamonds) and are usually quite a steal.
• ESTHER HAS NEW LINGERIE OMG I'M SO HAPPY I'D BEEN WAITING FOR THIS MOMENT FOR SO LOOOOONG 😭😭😭😭
• ...and it is also matches Liam's underwear. Maxwell's too 😅
• The scene is nice, there are variations between the ways the LIs work up their appetite before they finally roll in the...well, sand 😅 Maxwell has what they call an "ocean duel", Hana's fulfills her lifelong dream of carrying and spinning around her wife on a secluded beach, Drake chases the MC through the water...and Liam just enjoys being a huuuge tease, okay? 😂
• Oh God, why are they still using the old LoveHacks sexytimes music. That "DHUM-boom-ta-doom-DHUM" beat drives me nuts, and not in a good way. You have better music now, PB! Like the sexytimes tunes from RCD and PM. Use those!
• My gosh this entire group is quite horny for dominant duchesses, aren't they. Every last one of them. Each playthrough has these four gazing at the MC in wonder and telling her some variation of "I think you ordering me around is hot". Olivia could trample over them all with spiked heels and they would thank her!
• As always, when something suspicious happens, my dumbass MC goes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and never thinks about it again until shit actually goes down. This woman will never learn, will she.
• Anyway! We now move on to the rest of the honeymoon, summed up in three-four varying scenes per LI:
Tumblr media
(Screenshots: Liam's and Hana's screenshots are mine, Drakes is HIMEME's YouTube channel, and Maxwell's is from Kaitlyn Walker's YouTube channel).
- Liam: Focused and dedicated. And insatiable as hell. Sex on a bed (SHOCKING!), sex after his wife points out what could be an apple constellation during stargazing (the MC effectively killed Liam's boner for Cordonia, I see), sex after having chocolate strawberries at a sunlit pond, sex again on a bed (Why is he getting four? 🤔). While the staff is still around somewhere on the island. This is a man with a mission.
- Maxwell: Fun and playful - kind of a "let's live wild and do daredevilry while we can!" vibe. In one Maxwell and the MC cliff dive into the ocean, debating over the wisdom of such risky adventuring when they may possibly be having a baby. In another, the MC watches, concerned, as Maxwell eats a raw squid appetizer. There is a nice callback to Maxwell's House sigil - the kraken - when he tells her that a squid would never hurt a fellow squid. The third shows them playing Strip Monopoly in the comfort of their bedroom.
- Hana: Adorable, caring and looking through every detail. Hana's three scenes involve her showing the MC the sights around the sunlit pond (which Hana and the MC lovingly call the "Hana Lee Honeymoon Itinerary"), watching the sunset under blankets, and this little scene of them choosing sperm donors for their baby:
Tumblr media
It's a nice addition, but it still doesn't explain why they couldn't have waited a few more months. Nothing has happened yet in the timeline of the story, the women are (they believe) finally safe and happy, and while Javier seems to believe that babies born to a couple that consists of two women pop out of nowhere, I'm hoping the denizens of their duchy will have at least a little more common sense (this is Cordonia, so "hope" is the operative word).
- Drake: Langorous, relaxed and contented. Stargazing on the beach (I wonder whether this was a nod to the meteor shower scene in Book 1), whiskey on a patio/balcony/whatever in the afternoon, and eating roasted pork by the fire. Plenty of sex but also lots of outdoors, which means lots of the stuff Drake enjoys doing.
• Aaaaaand it's time for sexy scene 2! The couple are now relaxing in bed on the last day of their honeymoon, and the LI proposes a momento in the form of a sensual photoshoot (which comes with artwork of the LI in their underwear, posing for the MC) The male LIs pose with their hands at the back of their heads, smirking at the camera, while Hana strikes a coy pose, leaning against her hand. It's a quick, fun scene that's supposed to squeeze as much alone-time out of the couple as possible, because from here on the focus may shift to other things. Basically this chapter is meant to be one giant (but largely safe for readers) smutfest. I like the artwork - it's different and I guess meant to be a little more realistic than the usual full-page art in the books (like the engagement and wedding photos with your LIs last book), which is why I think it takes a little getting used to. I know it took me some time!
• Maxwell got an underwear upgrade too!
• We've now come to the end of our honeymoon, our bags packed and ready for our return to Cordonia. The chapter ends with us seeing a "familiar face", who could either be Liam (if you married someone else, and he doesn't show any expression) or an unspecified person (if you married Liam, and he looks ultra happy). Now that could either be related to some paparazzi-related stuff, if the flash of light was paparazzi-related, or it could be a fake-out and he's actually brought along the rest of the gang to surprise you. Idk and I don't want to speculate too much on this, mostly because something more interesting caught my eye.
• So that's it for my thoughts on the scenes themselves! On to the "general thoughts" section.
• General Thoughts and Potential Theories:
- As a first chapter for a new series that is still tied to an older one, it worked. It mirrors the light feel and sensibility of TRR's very first chapter, in that both chapters build an illusion of a fairytale-like place, with hints of the darkness within emerging the next chapter onwards (in this series though - since we're already familiar with Cordonia - the darkness is lightly hinted at this chapter itself). In a lot of ways I think we're going to see a lot of parallels between TRR and this new series.
- Unfortunately, one of those similarities also includes the imbalance in the writing for the LIs. Specifically with Maxwell and Hana. It's the most glaring in the dinner scene, which builds for us the premise on which this entire book stands (the topic of pregnancy). There are ways you could have them make the jump from nervous about having kids to excited, if you tried - there are elements in their storyline that could have helped us understand their urgency.
- I played Liam's route first, and was happy overall with it but I still have my misgivings. The good in terms of Liam's story is that he gets importance because the story is also about him and his country, where we are staying. He gives us some very important details in his route, and personally I like that his role as Guide To The Intricacies And Nuances of Cordonian Society still exists...but you can't deny that there were things in his storyline which should have been addressed and never were. I hope those are addressed this book. If they do the same this time around, it will only be to their detriment.
- Also, I find it highly ironic that Drake is the one to mention Savannah and Bartie when it was MAXWELL who was more involved in helping her with the child. Sure, he was - as he confessed in that Valtoria scene - more the "fun uncle" type, but he was still pretty heavily involved. Still keeping track of what Savannah needed and what Bartie would want. In his own final Book 3 scene, Maxwell is shown having an amazing rapport with little Bartie, playing peekaboo with his nose. I can barely count scenes involving Drake and Bartie with the fingers of one hand. Why couldn't Maxwell reference that last moment in Book 3, drawing up some inspirational moment from it? Like spending more and more time with Bartie changed the way he felt about kids? Or maybe that Savannah or Bertrand said something regarding the joy children bring to him. Anything that gives us some idea of when this shift happened.
Maxwell may have been new last book. It may have been a struggle to know what to do with him last book. But that isn't the case right now. By now they should have settled in their writing of him and figured out ways to make his story make sense? To give him more depth rather than simply reducing the man to the court jester? Maxwell's story was supposed to be about him growing, the scene in Valtoria was supposed to be about wanting to be a good father for his future children but fearing he might fail...yet the writers have the same man say the exact opposite. Maxwell's family history was thrown away for no good reason last book, and was replaced by Savannah drama. There was more space given to Savannah's love story with Bertrand (which didn't NEED the entire book to gain fruition) and Drake (optionally) enjoying humiliating Bertrand. That time, energy and effort could have gone in building up Maxwell, getting an insight into what happened to the Beaumonts that they became so poor...but no. The only Beaumont that mattered seems to be Savannah (and we know exactly why). And going by the fact that they're going to force an entire wedding storyline involving Bertrand and Savannah down our throats, that still seems to be the case.
- Hana's is even more worrying considering that it was poles apart from the rest of the playthroughs and therefore SHOULD have had more thought. Yes Hana loves the idea of being a mother. Yes Hana loves children and has a nurturing nature. But the urgency is still the same as the others' in her playthrough, and it made absolutely no sense. There was a clear dissonance between their current situation and the rush these two were in.
Hana's deserved at least some more time in her dinner scene. Maybe one where she could speak about growing up an only child, with no companions and not even toys. She could explain the loneliness involved in having a small family with parents who gave her more duties than affection, and then speak about giving her kid a better childhood. There isn't even any discussion about which of them should be the person carrying (we know it will be the MC, but why it has to be her in their case is anyone's guess).
What the team have done here is give Hana the bare minimum, after an entire two books of giving her even less than that. I know I'll probably be judged for thinking negatively rather than being cautiously optimistic, but the fact is that the moment this team feels they can get away with tossing scraps or less than that, they can and will do it. It's not stopped them before: not from botching up Hana's storyline, not from giving Hana fans a reception full of goof-ups and shoddy writing, not from pairing her with her bully. Perhaps last year I would have been happy and grateful to see Hana and the MC calling each other "my wife". This time...I refuse to settle for just mere scraps. If you can give thought and care to Liam and Drake's storylines, you'd better be able to do the same for Hana and Maxwell, otherwise what's the point of reviving this book? What's the point of using Hana specifically in two of your ads as bait for your lesbian/bi/wlw fans?? Might as well let the entire series rot in the trash where it belongs in that case.
- I've heard theories about our child becoming heir to the throne, thanks to a possible future arc that may make Liam unable to have children. I personally hate this possible plot line for two reasons:
1. As it is the MC gets more importance than she deserves, whether or not she actually puts in the work. She becomes a front-runner during the social season even if she fails. She becomes a Duchess even if she lacks even the most basic skills, while Hana who has done way more than she ever had for the country gets nothing, not even a needle-point's worth of land. She becomes Champion of the Realm even if she is literal garbage throughout that book, when that title could have easily gone to Olivia or Hana instead if she didn't earn enough to get it. And now to have her kid be made an heir to the throne? For no good reason? Get outta here.
2. Forcing Liam into yet another storyline that is tragic and painful (and I'm pretty sure the writers will find yet another excuse to write a thesis on Drake Walker in the time they could be using to let Liam actually break down, or vent. If they couldn't be bothered to explore the man's feelings when his own father died, do you really think they will bother with him in this??) on top of whatever else he's had to experience so far? At this point I can do with less of that. I'm honestly sick of storylines that put Liam in very uncomfortable, painful situations with very little space for him to air out his grief. Give the man a fucking break. Let him have some breathing space to rule his goddamned kingdom, get him a fantastic therapist and get him better friends while he's at it. Pushing him into yet another messed-up situation when you've barely even scratched the surface with what his experiences have done to him, is really just drama for the sake of drama, nothing else.
- Nonetheless, since this is about a pregnancy and a future heir, I believe there will be plenty talk about succession, and about the importance given to fertility and children in Cordonian society. But as with the social season in Book 1, the engagement tour in Book 2, and the wedding + Unity Tour in Book 3, I believe the pregnancy itself is a frame story. The kind of story that justifies the glitz, the glitter, and the glamorous events...that can serve as a temporary gloss to cover the conflicts within. All while the inner stories reveals those conflicts, layer by layer (again, if it's done right. Book 3 is a good example of a great premise ruined by bad writing. I sincerely hope this book does not go in that direction).
- Remember those screenshots I put up in that dinner scene from Liam's route? About Cordonia's tensions with its neighbouring countries, and how the country may be viewed as vulnerable? I think that's where the actual theme of the story lies.
Books 1 and 2 mostly revolved around the illusion of Cordonia - the fairytale kingdom - before the MC herself is confronted with the tensions brewing within. Book 3 was about strengthening Cordonia through resolution of internal conflict. It was about learning about the intricacies of the country, its most powerful duchies, their histories and identities, Cordonia's messy, complicated history - to tackle the problems that lay within.
I feel like Book 4 would be taking a natural progression from resolving internal conflict to finally standing united as a nation against outside forces. Constantine - in his conversation with the MC in Shanghai - hints not only at groups within Cordonia that wanted to destroy the monarchy, but also foreign powers ("suffice to say there are those who envy Cordonia's prosperity...". Not the royal family's - but "Cordonia's").
Keeping a united front and showcasing strength through pride in the country - ergo 'patriotism', or perhaps 'national integration' since Cordonia is home to many different cultures and geographical locations (I originally wrote 'nationalism here, but now realize there may be negative connotations attached to that word in today's times: thanks @musicallisto!) is often viewed as an asset against alien forces. The MC is now a part of the monarchy/nobility, and will be irrevocably tied to the country's future - so it makes sense that she will now dig into the deepest and most intimate parts of Cordonia's history, and go several steps further in helping to unite the nation.
- Why do I theorize 'patriotism' or 'national integration' as being a theme? There are several reasons for this:
The Unresolved Storylines: We still have a ways to go in understanding Cordonian history. We don't know which other forces were involved in previous assassinations, and we don't have a clue what happened to Liam's mother. All we do know is that other people and groups that we have probably not even seen yet, may have been involved. Francesco (who also knew Liam's mother) and Xinghai, the only foreign delegates/visitors that we got to network with in Book 2, have minimal roles so far but SEEM to have had some influence when they were introduced earlier. Francesco particularly could have some sort of role to play, given what we were told about him in Book 2. Now would be a good time to explore why he needed contacts with these people (other than the fact that Xinghai is Hana's dad). It's possible that nothing will happen and we may not even see these two, or exchange any important information, but I'd still hope that there is some importance to their appearances in Book 2.
The Connections We Made In The Engagement Tour: Meeting Francesco in Capri was related to getting access to EU markets for Cordonian products. The engagement tour itself revolved around grabbing international attention towards Cordonian problems - one of which was the tsunami that hit Portavira, which we learn more about in Book 3. There is a possibility that these threads may be picked up in the future.
Both the above points hint at possible threats, or allies. At this point we can't exactly determine who is friend and who is foe, but it is clear that neighbouring countries - and indeed countries we have associated with in the past - will play a pretty big role in the way we view Cordonia, and in the way we direct the narrative of this country.
The Artwork: I love this part of my theory because it is the most based on actual evidence rather than guesswork. The idea of a nation depends as much on items of familiarity and symbols, as it does on history. It's why countries have national animals, anthems, fruits. Why art depicting national and local legends can often be considered almost sacred. The book has barely even begun yet, and already it is FILLED with all kinds of things symbolic to Cordonia.
Let's first take a peek at the cover art:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now let's ignore Liam's and Drake's (busted) faces in this cover and focus on what the three are holding.
The MC holds a rattle in her hand, and the jewel within the rattle looks similar to a ruby, which has been associated more than once with apples in the story (Cordonia's most valued variety of apple is the Cordonian Ruby, Liam's wedding gift to the MC is a ruby in the shape of an apple. The same rattle shows up in the second cover [on the left] as well. It's a stretch, I know, but I've got better evidence. Stick with me).
Liam holds a onesie with a crown design on the front - and we know that "for crown and country" is a popular phrase, especially for toasts, in Cordonia. Drake holds out a toy lion: the lion is the national animal, and holds a place of pride in the national Coat-of-Arms. The throne on which the MC herself sits, is blue and gold - both considered national colours. That's at least 4 symbols related to Cordonia vying for our attention on the same cover!
I mean, even Book 3 had just two major symbols - the apple (related to Cordonia) and the phoenix gown (related to Valtoria) - featuring on its cover.
The biggest proof to me, however, is not the cover, but the loading page. To be more precise - what is written above that loading page. A number of Choices books (BB, for instance) write little factoids about the world they are building above the loading bar, which players can read while they're waiting for the chapter to load. This wasn't a common practice with TRR, but they've definitely started it now! Some of the commentary is usual stuff - about gaining advantages through outfits, welcoming you back to Cordonia, etc...but THIS TIME there are tidbits of information given to us as well. And 80% of those involve apples!
Here are a few I managed to catch. One fact on the importance of apples in Cordonian culture, two specifically on the Cordonian Ruby itself including a rare recipe, and two old proverbs (this isn't the only time we've heard apple-related proverbs in the books - in Book 3 for instance, Bertrand refers to their trip to Fydelia as 'slicing two apples with one knife'). Proverbs in general often give us an idea of what people within a region hold up as important, as so connected to their life experiences that they can use those familiar objects as motifs for things that they see in daily life (eg. proverbs in my home state, Kerala, often refer to things/animals we find locally: jasmines, coconuts, jackfruit, dogs, elephants).
Tumblr media
The fact that the apple features so often and with such emphasis in the loading page itself - and we have already seen what this simple fruit means to Cordonia - indicates to me that this national symbol - and the idea of the nation itself - will be of great importance. Not only will we be exploring foreign relations, IMO, but we'll also be learning how to build a national narrative that will benefit and strengthen Cordonia.
What's also interesting is that the apple symbolizes fertility to the Cordonian people as well - the apple cutting ceremony during a wedding (as explained by Regina to Leo's fiancée in RoE) is "a symbol of the fruit the tree will bear - you being the tree, of course", and there are chances that the fruit may feature often within the context of pregnancy/having children as well.
• That's all for now, guys. I hope to write more and theorize more as the chapters progress! Until then, I hope you enjoy this one, and I'd love to hear what you have to say.
• I did the Hana screenshots for this chapter, since the first chapter allows me to play repeatedly within losing keys, but I won't be able to do so from Chapter 2 onwards. If there are any Hana fans out there who keep screenshots of scenes in their route and are interested in sharing, I'd love to hear from you and will definitely credit you for the screenshots I put up!
• If you'd like to be tagged in future QTs, please let me know! Tagging @nikkisha16 for now since she asked xD
• Until Saturday, folks!

In which i talk about joseph stalin for a long time and also about intersectionality
You know who i’ve been reading a lot about recently?
Joseph Stalin.
And I’ve been reading, and while i’m at work all day, working mostly alone, no music or distractions, i’ve been thinking about everything i’ve been reading.
and this fucker who died before my parents were even born has been on my mind, because i just don’t fucking get it.
This idiot was a revolutionary.  a god damn REVOLUTIONARY.  Did hard time in siberia as a political prisoner.  (I mean, probably also a prisoner for all the organized crime he was doing---to fund the REVOLUTION)  That’s not the sort of thing a grifter, who is only interested in power, gets into.  It’s an absolutely terrible grift.  It’s a lot of risk to take if you aren’t a true believer.
And in between all the bank robberies and what not, he edited a newspaper and did a lot of writing.  There’s a database online where you can read pretty much everything Stalin ever wrote (Along with pretty much every thing pretty much every other famous Marxist ever wrote).  I can’t really bring myself to read too much of his stuff.  Eww.  Why would I want to.  Gross.  But also I feel like i should in the name of fact checking, and understanding what I’m talking about before I talk about it.
But the stuff i did read, was...... not terrible....? Some of it was replying to other socialist writing (because what do lefties enjoy more than arguing with other lefties, amiright???), a lot of it was old fashioned marxist stuff talking about working class vs capitalists, and a lot of it was describing legitimate complaints about the Czarist government.  Expressing anger at the pogroms and the suppression of ethnic minorities and hunger and poverty.  Sounds like a good reason to have a revolution to me.
Of course, those were all the same sorts of atrocities he himself would go on to do.  again.  eww.
But, after all of this, it’s pretty clear to me that pre-revolutionary Stalin was a true fuckin believer.
And that kept me up at night.  Because how come that would change when he himself came into power?
Is it because once you’re handed power, the temptation to abuse it is just far too great?  Is it because when the revolution is over, and the complexities of the ‘’Real World,’’ are obvious, and it’s all to easy to abandon idealism in order to get things done?  Are all post-revolutionary periods destined to be violent and oppressive, because the new government wants to assert its power?  How much blame does he get personally, and how much goes to the other founders of the revolutionary movement--Lenin and Trotsky and the like-- who laid the groundwork for how things would function?  IS socialism itself just cursed to fail like my republican grandma told me?
Or is this just a classical example of the other thing our republican grandmas warned us about, radical idealists turning cranky and cruel and conservative in old age just like they did? I mean what sort of things did stalin do while in power?  A lot of pretty republican things.  LMAO.  Banning the gays and abortion, enforcing strict gender norms, getting TOUGH ON CRIME!  Beefing up the military on money that should be used to provide for people’s basic needs....
If the right gets to try and pass off Hitler as a socialist, the left gets to say that Stalin was a moderate republican.  (Not full republican.  I mean, he did actually react appropriately when he found out there were Nazis in his country.  Just moderate republican.)  LMAO!
But then i thought about it a little more.
No.  He was not a right winger.  No one who spends the first half of his adult life trying to overthrow a government that had been ruling for 300 years is a god damn fucking right winger.  He was left wing.  But.....  Old timy left wing.
Because he did make good on a lot of the socialist ideas while in office.  I’m pretty sure he set up a fairly solid welfare state, free housing and education and healthcare and whatnot.  That was pretty new and revolutionary for the time.
But... Old timy left wing.
and if you think about old timy left-wingers.  most of them are only left wing in SOME areas.  The right absolutely LOVES to point this out.  ‘’Sure Margaret Sanger was a radical feminist, but she was also a racist!’’  ‘’This person was a racist, this person was homophobic!  All your icons are fake frauds!’’  I mean, they probably were all racist and homophobic and whatnot, but that doesn’t actually deminish the radicality of the stuff they were ‘’woke’’ on.
And that’s true for the pre-marxist left too.  We can hate on Thomas Jefferson all day long for being a creepy rapy slave owner and rich asshole who should have been tarred and feathered and  (sorry, i brought up thomas jefferson, i have to go take 5 and cool down before i punch something)  But he still was..... left.  To say ‘’all men are created equal,’’ even if you just mean straight white men, was still kind of radical in the 18th century, when the world was still divided up between the gentry and the common men, and people were presumed to have class status that was bred into them and was part of their very inner nature.  The idea that you could just throw out the idea of a nobility ruling class, or the monarchy, and initiate some sort of meritocracy based system, was out of this fucking world at that point.
And you can say the say the same thing about the russian revolutionaries.  You can criticize them up and down and left and right for being undemocratic, but the idea that wealth should be something everyone has guaranteed access to, that no one should hold economic power over you, that working people deserve some sort of dignified recognition for what they do, that was--AND STILL IS--radical.
Lenin, who lived in monarchical empire, saw the western countries move away from monarchies and embrace our versions of Western Capitalist Democracy (TM).  He decided his revolution would go in a different direction, one of economic instead of political democracy.  The western style of revolution had been tried, and now it was time to try out an eastern style of revolution.
I think he would have said something like ‘’look, ya’ll in france and england can vote, and i’ve been to france and england.  Those places suck ass.  You’re poor and hungry and miserable and working 10 hours a day for shit pay and going home to your crammed tenement apartments before dying of cholera at the age of 12.  Hell of a lot a good DeMoCrAcY does.  We need ECONOMIC democracy instead.’’
I do remember a quote from lenin, that said something along the lines of ‘’Yes, my system isn’t ‘democratic’ but if you think about it, it’s a hell of a lot more democratic than anything they’re doing in capitalist countries.’’
Of course, we modern folk who fancy ourselves so enlightened by hindsight will point out that you need BOTH economic and political democracy.  A democratic government being run alongside an undemocratic economy is oppression. Anyone who lives in the United States and has read more than three books in their life can see this.  It SUCKS.  Likewise.  An egalitarian economy being run by an undemocratic government is also oppression, because the government can do whatever it wants to the economy, like, say.... sell all the country’s food on the international market to fund various different 5-year-plan projects.  Had Stalin been subjected to democratic processes, he never would have been allowed to do that.
In the early 20th century, there wasn’t really much of a concept of INTERSECTIONALITY.  in the modern left, we pretty much agree that if you want to have freedom and equality in one sphere of life, you also need to pursue freedom and equality in other spheres.  Oppression is contagious.  If you allow discrimination against Gays for example, this leads to discrimination against the sexes because people are going to be forced into stricter and stricter gender norms.  And of course, if you want political equality under the law, you also need racial equality so that one group of people isn’t disenfranchised from voting or fair treatment by the courts.
Just like how political democracy has to happen alongside economic democracy.
So yeah, I guess after the end of all this long ranting and shit.  I think it makes sense why a serious revolutionary true believer like Stalin can grow into a tyrant.  Because Old timy left-wing politics was underdeveloped and had lots of blind spots.  People didn’t realize that it was important for movements to be led by people who were seriously committed to intersectional emancipation.  Young Stalin when he would go hang out with all of his socialist dude-bro friends, planning their bank heists, wearing their newsboys hats, trying not to die of cholera,  he probably wasn’t being called out on sexism or racism.  They were just an economic-left movement that didn’t care much about the other stuff.
But there isn’t really a whole lot to gain by doing a character analysis on some ass wipe who kicked the bucket before color television was even invented.  All the terrible things he did and all the good intentions, sincere or not, that he had, that is between him and whatever God is governing this bitch of a universe. We on the left know better than to look at individuals to answer important questions, we know to look at systems.  And gather lessons so that we can build better movements in the future.
Yeah, whatever, intersectionality.
Sorry this was so long and poorly written.  I shall cite no sources and do no editing.  Fuck you.  Thanks for reading.

More Summer Hearts Prompt Ideas
Anonymous said:Could we get the prince finally finding the person who cursed their fiancé and they agree to restore their memory but in exchange for something equally important to the prince? #SummerHearts (Also, is the prince's name Aspen? Because I totally approve)
Anonymous said:Wait, is the unseelie x human x seelie ot3 in the same universe as Summer Hearts? Are the prince and his human eventually going to meet the winter prince or something?? 😲
Anonymous said:I'm not sure what to ask for specifically, but anything having to do with Summer Hearts would be lovely!
See the story so far here. ‘Aspen’ is what I called him in my version and probably should have been edited out but whoops yeah. Obviously, as prompts, you can call him what you like. Winter Prince = Winter Princess, in my version. Prince’s of Summer and Autumn, Princess’s of Spring and Winter. Though, as I said, you are free to switch things around I just automatically start world-building if I end up writing enough continuation prompts. Regarding seelie/unseelie - theoretically, sure? Though I imagine they’d on a different system. Like a different country with no seasonal monarchs ruling them. They’d have the Seelie/Unseelie court instead.
1) “What do you want?” He didn’t look over at the Lady of Winter, head in hands, deflated. Around him, unwittingly, the ground scorched through the wildflowers and the heat swelled and swelled until even his people fled for shade. “In return for his memories?”  “There are people in our world who would have done far worse to him,” she said kindly. “Our world would have destroyed him, and in his sentiment for you he would have allowed it.”  “What do I need to do to have his memories back?” "You are selfish,” she said, less kindly. “His memories of our world do none of us any good. Please, don’t go down this path.”
2) The Autumn Prince ruled the most changeable of courts - his alliances as quick to shift as anything else about him. Fickle. Fleeting. In a state of wasted splendour like old ruins. He loved change! And the other courts could be so boring stuck in their traditions and rules and blah blah blah. But Autumn remembered in ways that summer didn’t and Autumn knew all about endings and that endings were never really endings at all, only transition periods. This - a Fey Prince and a human - was one of the most exciting changes to happen in at least a few centuries. Positively scandalous. So he sauntered his way over to a memory-addled human on a date with someone who wasn’t the Prince of the Summer Court and leaned in.  “You seem to be quite the Autumn of our world,” he murmured, ignoring the offended date. They traced the human’s cheek. “And I thought it was only me. I like that. Fancy making a deal to save the man you love?”
3) “I don’t - you -” they dropped to their knees by the Summer Prince. Their lover looked ill, husked and drooping. All that life and vitality sucked out of him. “No - no. What did you do? Tell me you didn’t promise them-” “-I forgot them all,” the prince said softly. “I never realized how horrible that felt, being forgotten.”  “Tell me what you did.” “A human and a Fey Prince cannot be together. But now - I am human now. It’s going to be okay.” "I’m fucking fey now! You’re dying!”

-Appearance- Casimir is a slight man, with a lithe and graceful posture. He walks with purpose. He has large cupped, mobile ears, with pink tips and spotting down the back. He has pink eyelid spots and a very distinguishing beauty mark above his left lip. His eyelashes are dark and thick, making his gaze seem sharp and exacting. His fur is a dark ashy color with darker grey points, and pink stripes and elaborate patterns along his shoulders, back and legs. He has pitch black hair with a vibrant pink streak in front, his hair is smooth and sticks up at the ends. His tail is about as long as three-fourths of his body, it is covered is long/semi-long silky fur, patterned with several rings of pink down the length of it.
-Personality- Forgiving, Intelligent, Poised, Generous, Thoughtful Dry, Snobby, Guarded, Lonesome Casimir has a very stringent way of presenting himself in public, he works endlessly to maintain his composure and flawless looks, and has mastered making it look easy. He's a work-a-holic, when he's not visiting his store locations, he's in his lab. He's cutivated an extensive knowledge of botany, genetic splicing and chemistry, he's very proud of what he's accomplished in these fields. He can be very charming in conversation, often adding insightful tidbits and sparking more involved conversation. Even with this trait, he's often more likely to enjoy talking gossip with his lead manager. In truth, he dislikes rubbing elbows with other notable figures in society, partially because he silently believes himself better, and also because he finds their blatant grabs for public reputation boring and tedious. His motives are closely guarded to his chest. Even his closest friend, knows the barest minimum about him, and that's how he likes it. He keeps all his flaws and fears hidden deep under his perfect facade. He's very careful and deliberate with what he tells people. He simply doesn't slip. He also generally opts for impermanent, short-lived relationships, rather than having to try and unbox himself to someone who'd leave anyways. He's an excellent flirt but if, and only if the person appeals to him in a certain way; Looks, intelligence, vivacity... A combination that makes for a good temporary lover. -Bio- Born to a long line of Moon gene'd Sun Mice, Casimir and his sister were born into a emotionally and mentally suffocating environment. Cas, being the only one of the two with the 'proper' genetic make-up to rule, was cast into the role of Heir. The pressure to be superb was drilled into him from an early age, he was put into many lessons: Dance, combat, foreign languages, politics, formal and informal manners classes. This was easy enough for him to do and accomplish. What truly affected him was not his duties, but rather, his parents. His father, the ruling monarch, saw Casimir as only a continuation of the family legacy, and often called him the wrong name and pronouns. His mother was destitute and clingy, having been married to Leon at the age of 15. After birthing Casimir and his sister, Leon no longer put stock into maintaining any type of relationship with his queen. Geneveive often relies very heavily on Casimir for validation and her emotional and mental needs, and has since he's been able to speak. His sactuary was in books, he read endlessly in his family's castle. He was most interested in learning about botany, herbalism, entemology, and history. Though he grew to learn to keep his interests to himself, as his parents, mostly his father, would disregard what Cas was excited to share after learning something new. Growing up as a dignitary, Cas was forced to follow his father on his many political trips to the neighboring kingdoms. One kingdom was where he met his very first friend, at 14. Aulus Arte. Up until then Cas had never interacted with someone his own age, his sister distancing herself as far as she could from the stuffy responsibilities of being the child of a King, and most of his adult interactions were his father telling him of a legacy he had to uphold or otherwise be a failure, and his mother relentlessly needing him for her own comfort and ignoring his needs in favor of her own. Even then, Casimir was very guarded around Aulus, as he'd never experienced someone trying to get to know him. The trip lasted until the end of summer, and Casimir was almost weeping at the thought of leaving. It was the most open and inviting environment he'd ever been in. The King and Queen had opened their arms and hearts to him and fore the first time, he realized how bad his home was. After that, Casimir and Aulus kept in constant contact through letters for about 4 years, before Casimir became more focused on himself, and gaining some sort of autonomy and agency outside his parents grasp. And that was opening his own business, a place to sell something everyone on the go needed: Coffee. He came up with multitudes of formulas for different flavors that he made individually from scratch. The coffee, made from special beans from Dyserth, was a massive hit with the people of Meridian City and he was able to open several locations. At one point getting a street renamed after his store, Stardust. -Abilities/Powers- Casimir is skilled in many areas of combat. He's swift and agile and precision oriented. He has a magical NetherSteel rapier which is soulbound to him, and he can summon when the need arises. He has a sort of sixth sense, being able to know when someone is behind or coming up from behind him, or in any blind spots. He also always smells pleasant. -Strengths- Beyond that, he's extremely intelligent and task oriented, and can micromanage many things at once. At one point, he was able to separate two converged universes, and put every person in their correct universe in nearly the same place they exited. Intelligence and decorum are his greatest strength. His ability to assess and control a situation have lead to his victory consistently, big or small. He also can hold his own in combat, in many different situations. -Weaknesses- His family, despite their horrible treatment of him, he still needs them around. Even their micro-invalidations of him and his choices doesn't sway this. He also craves validation, and uses temporary relationships to try and fulfill this. Extra Loves New book smell, completing a major task, being pretty, gentle validations from friends, FRIENDSHIP Fears Losing his sense of purpose, Being useless in a situation, being judged as cruel, sabotage Hates His 'legacy', being talked down to, having to interact with other political figures, ROOT ROT TRIVIA - Cas is fairly close to the manager of his first and largest location of Stardust, Cayle. - Cas has some internalized hatred of "lesser races" thanks to his father. He does his best to undo that hatred. - His cousin (Vlad) is also a good friend, though they had not met until later in life. Cas dotes on him like a younger brother. - He met his current partner (Gunnar) through Cayle. They hit it off nearly instantly. - He has a terrible, raunchy, andpunbearable sense of humor. He will never NOT tell weed jokes. - Speaking of, in his spare time, as a hobby he also genetically engineers flavors of a plant called Pipeweed, and sells it for a fraction of what dispenseries do. - Cas has always wanted a pet, but never had the time to care for one. - He has a very good singing voice, thanks to all the pointless lessons his parents made him take when he was younger. - His sister, Faith, and he are estranged, and haven't seen each other in many years. Still, he sends her a card every birthday. He never gets anything back. - Cas is jealous of his cousin's close, and loving relationship with his husband. He doesn't let it show, but he longs for an effortless closeness like that. - He'd fuck the farmer if he asked.

prince cassian & smuggler jyn (like han and leia) pls?
Boy oh boy did I do a thing…instead of a drabble this turned into a fic just shy of 3000 words (I also kinda probably tweaked this from what the prompter probably intended but….eh. It’s fine.) (EDIT: NSFW)
Title:mydarling, i’ll tuck your name under my tongue
Summary:It’sbeneath his station, what he was doing. Cassian couldn’t bring himself to care.
Read it here on Ao3
Drabble (in theory) Prompts for Rebelcaptain are still (tentatively) open but there is a line!
Cassian could already hear Kay telling him how stupid andirrational he was being. The man, Cassian’s attendant and closest friend, madesure to tell him that at every chance he could. Words that always fell on deafears.
Risking his safety by leaving the palace unescorted, to oneof the shittiest areas of the capital city, to meet with a criminal.
Well, ‘meet’ was a loaded phrase. It made what he was doingsound more innocent than it was.
This was his secret, his indulgence that broughtsatisfaction and pain in near-equal measures.
He dressed in plain clothes, as plain as a prince couldmanage. The jacket and boots, to the trained eye, would give away that he hadmoney or that he stole the items from someone who had money.
Nobody would notice that the heir-apparent of the Festanthrone was wandering the streets, ducking around stalls and children andbeggars. Dusk was falling, casting shadows over everything, making his identityharder to pin down.
Not that anyone really knew his face. His parents were theones in the spotlight, unwilling to let their son to be subject to scrutiny.Fest wasn’t that wealthy or powerful a nation to begin with, the monarchsnear-figureheads in the face of the Parliament.
Still, the ransom of a prince would definitely be ofinterest to some of the characters who lurked in the shadows.
While he was a prince, it didn’t mean he didn’t know how todefend himself. He wouldn’t have dared come out all this way if he didn’t. Theblaster tucked in his waistband and the vibroblade tucked in his boot were hissecurity and he knew how to use them.
Down an alley in the south side of the city, where theground was cracked and split and the buildings were claustrophobically crammedtogether and stretched to the heavens.
The second to last door on the left.
The bartender, Saw, nodded when Cassian entered.
It had bothered Cassian that Saw remembered him, but hewould be a fool not to. Cassian was in there at least once a week, never stoppingby the bar to have a drink, instead going up the stairs in the back to therented rooms.
One of the only good things about this place was that therewere very few people who stuck around for more than a couple of days, neveraround long enough to see the pattern of a prince sneaking around. Cassianremembered those who stayed, permanent fixtures under the low light.
There were the blind man and his bodyguard who always stuckto the righthand corner of the bar. That was a constant. The blind man alwaysseemed to find him with his sightless eyes and would smile knowingly. That toowas a constant.
Cassian wasn’t sure what the blind man knew and could neverfind the courage to ask.
Instead, he just walked past and up the stairs.
He could hear the sounds of snoring and sex through the thinwooden doors as he walked to the last door down the hall. There was nobody buthim out there, no one to recognize him, no one to know his secret.
Knock once, pause for a beat, knock twice in succession.
Quick footsteps met his ears before the door opened, justenough for him to slip inside.
He turned to her as she glanced at the door, closing andlocking it. Then she looked to him. Her stare always seemed to pin him down. Itwas like he wasn’t able to hide anything from her.
Relief crashed over him to see her, breath catching in histhroat. She was here. She was alive and unharmed, from what he could see. Shedidn’t leave in the night, with no way for him to find her.
Though she had known he was coming, she was dressed like shewas about to see a client. Her brown hair was in a messy ponytail.
Nondescript, utilitarian clothes, ready to blend into acrowd and disappear. Her belt looped around her hips, holster carrying herfavorite blaster.
She always looked like she was ready to run and fight.
There were at least half a dozen places in the room whereshe hid weapons for easy access and those were only the ones Cassian knewabout.
She had made a name for herself, and that made enemies.
Though the name was not her name.
Cassian knew the truth: that famed smuggler Liana Hallik wasactually Jyn Erso, daughter of a nobleman from a kingdom miles and miles away.A nobleman who held court to a tyrant, but a nobleman all the same.
Neither of them spoke, only watched each other.
He shrugged off the small bag slung over his shoulder andset it on the rickety chair pushed to wall next to the door. In it was somewine and rice and cheese and a small bag of credits.
It wasn’t out of charity or pity. It was of a lover’sconcern. To make sure she didn’t go hungry. It helped him sleep at nightknowing that she had the money for food and pay her rent.
He didn’t want to think about the things she might have todo if the money ran out, having to go further than smuggling.
Later, when he lay in bed alone in the palace and tried notto think about the woman who dominated his thoughts, paranoid thoughts—in Kay’svoice, of course—would worm in, wondering if she was taking advantage of him. That she was letting him into her bed for the credits, gaining his trust tobetray him later.
But, now, that didn’t matter.
He was in too deep.
Jyn stepped forward until there were mere inches betweenthem, enough that she had to tilt her head up a little to keep eye contact.
“I thought you weren’t going to make it,” she said, like shewas scolding him.
It was easy banter, something he could find in few people.
He shrugged with a levity he didn’t feel. “Wouldn’t miss itfor the world.”
Cassian wasn’t sure who moved first, but they met with aclash of lips and a flurry of hands, sloppy and possessive.
It had been a few days, almost a week, since they last saweach other. It felt like forever.
Jyn sighed against his mouth, a tiny pleased thing thatCassian refused to forget, and pressed the lines of their bodies together.
Home was a gilded palace that lost its glimmer by the yearas slowly the money was leeched out. Home was a mother and father who tried tomake his upbringing as normal as possible, making sure he knew the ways of theworld as well as to fight.
Home was also in Jyn’s arms, in a rundown motel in theshadows of the capital city.
She smelled like cheap soap, hands rough and calloused wherethey rucked up his shirt and skimmed over the skin of his back.
He always felt so soft and posh in comparison to her. Shewould tease him about it, sometimes. The pampered and groomed prince with thetough and world-worn smuggler.
Other times, she would bury her face in the crook of hisneck and make some comment about the cologne he was wearing, then chase thepretty words with a wicked bite that could only just be hidden by his shirt.
Their clothes hit the ground at random intervals, his jacket, her belt, as they stumbled the short distance to her bed. The signs of theirstatus were stripped, prince and smuggler turned to simple lovers.
Hands and lips found the revealed skin, claiming andgrasping.
With a small push, Jyn was on her back and the mattresscreaked in protest.
Cassian knelt at the edge of the bed, pulled Jyn forward soher legs were draped over his shoulders.
He kissed a line up her right inner thigh, stopping justbefore her cunt, then kissed a line up the left. She liked the way his facialhair scratched and tickled against her skin, something Cassian exploited asoften as he could.
When Jyn bucked up with an impatient noise, Cassian leanedforward and spread her with his fingers, licking a stripe over her.
He worshiped her with his mouth and let his hands roam overwherever he could reach. Jyn moaned and sighed above him and raked her fingersthrough his hair.
He loved this, being able to do this for her. Gods knew howmany times he touched himself thinking of Jyn, of everything about her.
He could probably get off on this alone, having his mouth onher. He was painfully hard between his legs, practically bobbing against hisstomach, but he didn’t care about touching himself.
This, this was all he needed.
One finger, then two, pushed into her tightness, stretchingher open.
Jyn whispered encouragements into the still air. Her handstightening and softened where they gripped at his hair, just shy of painful.
He knew she liked it hard and fast, so that’s what he did.He sucked at her clit, one hand fingerfucking her, curling just right, whilethe other held her thigh and kept her spread open for him.
She bucked and writhed, half-formed pleas spilling out ofher mouth. She sat up on shaky arms and met his eyes.
Jyn’s cheeks were flushed and her lip was caught between herteeth. Cassian groaned at the sight, the vibrating over her clit.
With a wordless cry, Jyn stiffened and went boneless and herthighs around Cassian’s head. He eased her through her orgasm by peppering herskin with light kisses and slowly moving his fingers in and out of her.
“Please fuck me,” she breathed, reaching forward and down tocup his cheek.
Not one to keep a lady waiting, Cassian stood and closed thesmall amount of space between them. Jyn moved farther into the bed and hefollowed to rest between her spread legs.
Their mouths met languidly, Jyn could probably taste herselfon his lips.
His body covered hers and he was greedy for it, for everypiece of skin he could reach.
Jyn hooked her leg around his hip, pressing her heat oh soclose to his hardness and with a hidden strength they were flipped so Jyn wasstraddling him.
Cassian opened his mouth to say something smart, but endedup groaning like a wounded man when Jyn lined him up with her opening and sankdown with a sinful roll of her hips.
“Jyn,” he breathed and she shivered above him.
Their true names were always exchanged like secrets, likeprayers. Just loud enough for the other to hear.
“Cassian.”
He bucked into her, jolting her just enough to draw a cryout of her mouth.
Jyn leaned forward, bracing her hands on his chest, andstarted to move.
She rode him like she was born to do it, each time she sankdown on him was exquisite agony.
Cassian braced his feet against the mattress and thrust upto meet her. His hands roamed, sometimes gripping her hips, sometimes strokingover her skin.
He cupped one of her breasts and rolled the nipple betweenhis fingers and grinned as it startled a whimper out of her.
This was desperate, a desperate coupling between two peoplewho didn’t know how much time they had.
It seared in Cassian’s blood, the need to bring Jynpleasure, the utter yearning to tuck her inside himself where she would besafe.
The latter was impossible, pride and circumstance making itso he couldn’t protect her from everything this life could throw at her.
He could do the former.
Cassian threaded his fingers through her hair, pulling herin for a kiss, as he brought his free hand down to where they were joined.
Jyn sobbed against his mouth as he rubbed tight circlesagainst her clit, still thrusting back in a frantic race to completion.
She broke the kiss to look at him with green eyes misty withlust. She breathed his name, over and over like a litany, as she shook apartabove him.
One day, he hoped against hope, that she would be able toscream his name, with no heed to secrets and danger.
He fell off the precipice shortly after, groaning Jyn’s nameinto her collarbone, spilling inside of her.
Gently, he helped ease her off of him and she flopped nextto him. Still touching, as they caught their breath and their heartbeatsslowed.
The reality of their situation crept in slowly, still usingborrowed time.
The knowledge that he should leave pulled at him, leavebefore people noticed he was gone and come looking for him. It was a risk, everymoment he stayed. He couldn’t expose her. She stayed hidden, changed her name, for a reason. The reason came to him in snippets, in the afterglow, during ashared meal: a tale of death and betrayal and struggle. It was a good reason, and, no matter how he felt, he couldn’t fault her for hiding in the shadows, living a criminal’s life.
He didn’t want to leave. Her bed was better than any thronethis world could offer him, somewhere he wanted to stay until the world ended.
He braced himself on one arm, enough so he was just hoveringover her face. He kissed everywhere he could reach.
Then he pulled back, so he could watch her again.
“I wish you could come back with me,” he said.
She smiled sadly, eyes overly bright. Her fingers brushedover Cassian’s cheek, and the urge to stay there forever wormed its way deeperinto his chest.
He really did. He wished every day that he could bring herback to his home. This woman, who helped him in a time of need, when he neededhelp to protect his family, his nation. This woman, who bickered and jabbed andannoyed the ever-living hell out of him every step of the way. This woman, whocould drink anyone under the table, sung painfully beautifully, and could sneakanything anywhere for the right price.
She took his heart and he wasn’t sure he wanted it back.
“One day, maybe.”
He swallowed around a lump, wishing he could find a truth inthat lie.
“Will you be here? In five days?”
Jyn exhaled through her nose, bitterness twisting her face.
“I have a job in Jakku. Got a scavenger and her littlecircus to back me up. If it goes well, I’ll be back in eight days. Longer, ifit doesn’t.”
Cassian nodded, panic and concern like iron fists around hisheart, though his expression stayed relatively neutral.
He never liked the idea of her leaving the city, much lesstaking a job where even she knew there was a chance she could get hurt orkilled.
There was no point in telling her not to go. He had triedthat once, back when he thought his feelings for her were limited to concern ofa friend and not anything else. That ended in a shouting match, whichunexpectedly turned to him pressing her against the wall and kissing her likehe would die if he didn’t.
Cassian eased himself out of bed and got dressed, delayingthe inevitable as much as possible. Just being in the same room as her feltlike a balm on his soul.
He put himself back together, making it look on the outsidelike nothing had happened. His hair probably still looked a bit like a mess, nomatter how many times he combed his fingers through it.
He sat back down on the bed as soon as he was done, ignoringJyn’s protests about him putting his dirty clothes on her bed, as if theyweren’t just fucking on it minutes earlier.
Cassian reached out and touched her face, committing eachdetail to memory.
“Come back to me, okay?” he asked, feeling a bit like achild asking for reassurance, a steady hand. He had little right to ask her,but he did anyway.
She nodded solemnly, kissing the palm of his hand.
“I will.”
Jyn was the strongest person he knew. She would try to comeback, as uninjured as possible. And he had made it clear that if she everneeded help, she could come to the palace. He would let her in, take care ofher. He knew she would never take that offer, but he felt better knowing thatshe had that option.
He hated this feeling of helplessness.
Jyn’s expression didn’t change when he stood up and startedfor the door.
Each step brought them farther away from each other.
This could be it. Cassian might never see her again. Shecould die on this job or leave for a distant land. He could die at the hands ofan assassin, an agent of an enemy government.
If this was the end, would she know how much she meant tohim? Would she understand?
Cassian turned back before he could think better of it. Shehad been watching him from the bed, a terribly wistful expression on her facethat didn’t evaporate fast enough when he saw her.
It brought him some twisted sense of hope, that she wasfeeling something similar.
“I love you,” he said, meaning every word, knowing it wasbetter not to leave this sort of thing unsaid.
It hung in the air a bit like a death knell for a beat.
Then, Jyn smiled, this time a bit happier, a bit brighter, and it felt like a balloon was expanding in Cassian’s chest.
“I know.”

The Rothschilds financed the battle of Waterloo. That was not a banker's war that was a war of domination in which our side (British/US/Aus/NZ/British Canada) was victorious. They are money junkies to wield power and control over nations, governments, and people (politicians mainly). This is has it has always been. Money buys power and control. Their goal is that of the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion: An entire planet governed by Jewish Zionist hegemony (Monarchs) as they believe their destiny "granted by God" entails.    "Zionist Plans for World Domination": Baruch Levy, Letter to Karl Marx, La Revue de Paris, p. 54, June 1, 1928 Address of the Jew Laventria Beria, The Communist Textbook on Psychopolitics, page 8: “Use the courts, use the judges, use the constitution of the country, use its medical societies and its laws to further our ends. Do not stint in your labor in this direction. And when you have succeeded you will discover that you can now effect your own legislation at will and you can, by careful organization, by constant campaigns about the terrors of society, by pretense as to your effectiveness, make the capitalist himself, by his own appropriation, finance a large portion of the quiet Communist conquest of that nation.” “The Jewish people as a whole will be its own Messiah. It will attain world dominion by the dissolution of other races, by the abolition of frontiers, the annihilation of monarchy, and by the establishment of a world republic in which the Jews will everywhere exercise the privilege of citizenship. In this new world order the Children of Israel will furnish all the leaders without encountering opposition. The Governments of the different peoples forming the world republic will fall without difficulty into the hands of the Jews. It will then be possible for the Jewish rulers to abolish private property, and everywhere to make use of the resources of the state. Thus will the promise of the Talmud be fulfilled, in which is said that when the Messianic time is come the Jews will have all the property of the whole world in their hands.”Read moreReply 4  View all 5 replies John Pallyswine2 days agoRivero = a Spanish Catholic descent whose ancestors INVADED, EXTERMINATED, RAPED , DISPLACED and murdered innocent natives of the AMERICAS.   The muSSlim loves to invade and killReply   John Pallyswine2 days agoI LOVE ZIONISM. This is what is happening in Syria today. Assad did not want a private Central Bank in his country, but relented to try to keep the peace. Didn't work out for Assad because the Jew Banksters were not happy - now they want two very profitable pipelines run through Syria. Also, North Korea doesn't want a Rothschild Central Bank and neither does Iran. The Jew Bankers are chomping at the bit to start a war with these two countries in the near future. If North Korea and Iran fall to the Jew Banksters, the financial arm of the New World Order will be complete.Read moreReply 2   Susan Miller2 days agoCheyenne Sellers also, the US dollar is only as valuable as the petrodollar system is on any given day - a system which helps line the vaults of these central banks...
