Thoughts after watching this trailer a few times:

Are we seeing this quasi-ragtag group just getting their bearings? Or could this possibly be a glimpse into the struggle they will continually face. I've thought about this before (as im sure many have) but this trailer has me wondering again: will the lack of cohesion in the kitchen and the looming deadline to pay Cicero back cause The Bear to crumble?

We love an underdog story. We root for the characters we love to beat the odds, making the impossible possible. However, this show hasn't shied away from showcasing the way many restaurants in the area have failed. How unrelenting and unforgiving this industry is, in general. One of the restaurants Sydney went to on her "tour" shut down soon after that visit. So it isn't unrealistic to think that The Bear is being set up to be an example of putting blood sweat and tears into this industry and coming up short.

I'd hate for this to happen mostly because Sydney has already dealt with this heartache. She's already started a business from the ground up and suffered from its failure. At one point, when talking to her dad, she expresses that she doesn't think she could do this again, if she has another one in her. Her feelings are understandable. But our girl is just too good, too talented for this to be the end. Yet, I can also understand feeling burnt one too many times by an industry you thought could be a forever one.

I also want The Bear to succeed for Richie. His time at Ever showed him how he could grow and change with The Bear. He doesn't have to be stagnant. He can see his purpose. He talks about struggling with that in S2 'Beef'. I don't want the potential failure of The Bear to derail Richie's growth. If The Bear is destined to fail I want everyone to come out of it with other prospects, but I especially want Richie to continue to pursue this new purpose. Maybe at Ever. Maybe somewhere else.

As for Syd, I truly want to the world for her. If this is the end of The Bear I hope she becomes CDC (or EC) somewhere else. Maybe she's able to open up her own place (brick and mortar) down the line. I want her to get her stars because she deserves them. I want her to love going into work every day (or atleast most days like let's be realistic lol).

am i delusional/dumb or am i overthinking this bc did john cena pretty much already tell us he's gonna lose the rumble? yes he did just say he's gonna enter but he's already also announced multiple times that he's gonna be at the Elimination Chamber. If you win the Rumble then you don't need to qualify for/participate in EC, right? so why else announce he's gonna be at the Rumble and lose if not only to promote his farewell tour and boost ticket sales?

anyway i cast my vote for Punk eliminates John and wins the Rumble, and then John goes on to win EC and challenges Punk.

(is that how it goes? i've never been around for EC yet so i'm still a newb to Mania season and how it works lol)

There are so many...But especially the last one. I wish I could have been there to see their "last" show. But also I wish I could have seen them together with EC when they supported them the first time at the "Hypa Hypa Tour 2022". I waited too long to get tickets back then and still remember how when they played in Munich I think, how I desperatly wished myself there the whole night...

29. Favorite tattoos of any of the band members?

I have two favorites. 1. The Blind Channel logo with the roses for each member on Nikos stomach/side. And 2. As a dog mom myself I love the little Rilla Aleksi included in his sleeve/town tattoo 🐶🖤

Tommi or who ever is posting for Tommi straight up reusing Aleksi's photo including the caption is so funny to me.

In Tommi's story translation isn't available which means it was part of the photo when uploaded.

So it was saved before adding the Blind Channel @ and uploaded in Aleksi's story and then uploaded again to Tommi's story. Either by posting it from the same phone or sending the picture including heartfelt caption via whatsapp or something

ive got more headcanons and fic ideas for the owl house, prepare ye selves:

1. post escaping to the human realm, Hunter grows soft. as in, he starts gaining some weight bc I refuse to believe that this boy had a good diet in the isles, bc one, since he’s already part human as a grimwalker and it’s already in canon that Luz can’t consume everything in the boiling isles, he hasn’t been able to eat everything. two, this boy clearly lives on snack foods bc it’s readily available and quick if he’s working all the time and I don’t think he’s had home cooking. Camila automatically wants to feed this boy, and he eats all of her cooking, puritan spice intolerance be damned or whatever. he is gonna get all the food and he is gonna like it. so yeah he starts gaining a bit of weight, so he’s a bit more solid and he has more energy and he might be a little bit convinced that Camila is magic bc her food is so good. he says this to her while helping her in the kitchen once and she has to turn away bc she’s so moved she starts tearing up.

2. Amity gets into legos. Like really into legos. Luz has some old sets from her childhood and when Amity finds them she is absolutely sold that this is the best toy ever. Since she can’t really create abominations in the human realm bc suspicious, she turns to the Lego sets to get some of her more restless energy out. It gives her something to focus on, and she likes to create really elaborate scenes from the boiling isles; Luz is absolutely sold on getting her a large deluxe set at some point.

3. Gus becomes tiktok famous. No really. As a joke, Luz lends him her phone and teaches him about social media and he starts a series of “Reacting to Human Tech”. followers obvs think it’s a skit and he’s playing a character of course, but his endless enthusiasm and boundless energy earn him a nice decent sized following and starts earning money channeled into Luz’s account into Gus’s hands. people are so charmed by this 13 year old screaming at a toaster when bread pops out. it becomes a popular meme.

4. Willow throws herself into gardening and working out. She loves that the weather is much less dangerous to plans in the human realm, and Camila gave her lots of room to experiment. Once Luz shows her the gardening center and gardening section at the library, it’s all over. Willow successfully cross-breeds a Carolina reaper with cinnamon, dont ask me how she did it, but she did. Hunter tries the cinna-reaper hybrid and Gus got his video trending and a ton of new followers so. Thank you Willow and Hunter.

5. post-series finale **starts crying**, Luz has a portable portal that she uses to travel back and forth the human realm and the demon realm. She actually takes Camila there to give a tour of the world she loves, and doesn’t hold back on the less savory stuff. Initially Camila was super hesitant, but she has never seen her daughter so happy and vibrant, and sees the love Eda and King clearly have for Luz. she agrees to Luz traveling back and forth, and Eda and Camila are so proud of how far Luz has come. Eda visits a lot the human realm a lot too, and she and Camila bond over telenovelas. Luz loves her two moms very much.

6. Hunter becomes Eda’s apprentice in palisman carving, also receiving tutelage from her father Dell. i feel like this is a pretty popular headcanon bc family bonding and also shows growth from how he regretted trying to get those palisman for Belos to actually help create new ones as part of his new life away from the EC.

7. after much needed therapy and plenty of support, Vee is able to make a trip back to the boiling isles. granted she is still in disguise bc basilisks are still considered dangerous by most of the populace, but she’s able to get her magic restored a lot easier now. the rest of the basilisks are freed to be integrated back into the boiling isles, and she guides them towards consuming magic from other sources and not witches.

8. back to Willow working out in the human realm, she goes absolute beast mode at the local gym. my personal headcanon is that witches are just sturdier and denser than humans bc of the environment they live in, so when Willow starts pumping iron, she attracts a lot of attention at the gym. Willow has a lot of gym bros, and I can’t get the image of these big buff dudes circling around a short Willow in awe and asking her about her technique and routine. nobody messes with Willow at the gym bc jerks will fear the gym bros. oh no dude, the one who absolutely have to fear is this 5’3” flower child with a sunshine smile who can and will absolutely thrash you if you disturb anyone else working out. Willow has a lot of admirers. Also there’s that weird blond gremlin guy who she walks home with like an angry chihuahua. dude has red eyes. he’s awful too.

9. Alador and Darius rekindle their friendship from school, which slowly grows into them dating. granted, Darius will still rib Alador, calling him a hack, which makes strangers think that he hates him, but no, that’s his partner. that’s how they show affection.

10. Luz becomes a pretty accomplished illustrator/artist for young adult fantasy novels. nobody knows where she gets her inspirations from, but she paints landscapes of the boiling isles ALL THE TIME.

Some people talked about BC getting some mullets too and I will not be prepared for this sight. In any case they sure will be having a lot of fun, both groups together is just ultimate chaos, and I hope no one will get lost or injured on the tour.

You can scream about how amazing it was here, because your concert is like 20 days before mine.

8. How does your OC talk/what does your OC’s voice sound like?

Frieda’s words are snappy and powerful and straight to the point. Her voice is pretty similar to her face claim, just uses a different inflection than Abigail’s natural rhythm.

16. What is your OC’s strongest childhood memory? Why and how has that impacted him/her?

“Strongest” is hard because it’s kinda subjective how she could take that... Her instinctual reaction was the first time her parents sat her down to say they were sending her away, that definitely ingrained most of her problems with her mom. But she also said the first time her uncle toured her around a professional kitchen, so we can have a positive and a negative here I guess.

24. Who are the people your OC dislikes/hates?

Her mother, Kyoya’s dad, Tamaki’s grandmother (like legally she must hate those two), Eclair Tonnerre bc how dare she mess with her club, those annoying newspaper guys...she’s petty she could make a longer list if needed but like those are the legit ones lol

32. What subjects did your OC excel at?

Specifically the food side of home ec. style classes, Business, Math, German (duh), Advertising, etc.

40. How does your OC handle grief?

When around others, would definitely lash out even more than usual. Really tries to isolate herself though.

Alcohol becomes one...does her anger and lashing out at others count? I think it happens enough that it should lol.

Reliable, and genuinely so smart, can find a way out of almost any bad situation, incredibly resourceful, and insanely driven.

Like from other people? Let’s see...she picked up pen twirling from Kyoya, and her hair flips have an added Tamaki touch to them over time. And if she finds herself having to throw a punch, watching Honey, Mori, and Arina so much have definitely made her know what a good form should look like alkjfdklad.

72. What is your OC’s favorite kind music (and song if there is one)?

I feel like she has a trend of going for just general pop music and maybe some r&b. It’s not her official character theme, but she really loves “still learning” by halsey.
