GET RID OF AI NONSENSE FROM YOUR GOOGLE RESULTS

Like you, I used udm=14 for a bit to get rid of the AI generated shit in google. Sadly it doesn't get rid of shitty search results. It also breaks other parts of google like image search, so it's not a very good solution.

BEHOLD!!!

A filter list for uBlockOrigin and uBlacklist that blocks out google search results for a lot of websites known to post generative AI content The only way we stop this shit now is if we find automated ways to deny them traffic, so you should share this.

If you find any AI shit that isn't on this list you should contribute to it as well

While you're at it, install adNauseam. It's uBlockOrigin but it silently tells the website that you're clicking on every ad while it blocks it. Of course this gives money to the website with the ads but what's important is

a) it wastes money from the ads provider b) doesn't allow them to profile u based on ads you click

Personally can't wait till you tell all your friends about this AI filtering tool and in order to use it your friends also have to download the ad blocking tool that makes Google actively waste money. Google is going to love that.

While we're at it

This is another list that blocks a bunch of spam websites that do very aggressive SEO

And this other uBlacklist filter for various kinds of miscellaneous spam

I can't stress enough, the only thing that's convincing tech companies to back down from this shit is if having AI automatically gets them less engagement and it gets everyone to start installing adblockers and other shit that hurts their core business model.

Cause god damnit did he suddenly make me realize I want to look like a more fem version of him. Like after seeing his hair I was just like "oh yeah I want that" and then the more I found out about him the more I went "wow...can I just like...be him???" And boom suddenly I'm questioning my gender a bit and now we have a fem person really confused dhskdbdkfj

Like I've wanted pink hair for some time now and seeing the blue in it just made me go crazy. Plus the secretly an eboi thing is just amazing cause it's like damn I wanna be able to do two very different aesthetics. Like gothic and pastel pink cutesy kawaii shit (idk what the exact aesthetic is called but that's my shit) and yes I know pastel goth exists (and I love it to bits cause YES LET ME COMBINE THEM) but sometimes I just wanna do both separately.

The Eboys Podcast with Dream is so good.

I don't wanna put down the podcast Tommy did with the Happy Hour but their lack of basic Minecraft knowledge made it painful to listen to cause they didn't understand MC or the Dream SMP in the slightest. The Eboys podcasts, both with Dream and the one they did with Tommy are so so good and a lot of it is because they know what they're talking about.

They're able to ask questions that are interesting and participate in the conversation surrounding it because they know Minecraft and the SMP, and they often knew the streams and specific inside jokes, without coming across as creepy fans.

Both podcasts were super fun to listen to! But it's the difference between asking one asking "what's an ether portal?" and the other asking "didn't tommy get struck by lightning one time?" (and other really good dream specific questions too obviously) that made me really enjoy the Eboys Podcast with Dream. Highly recommend listening :^)

ok mask mv dropped and I didn’t like it but I’ve been thinking about dream and how cool he is so here’s some cc!dream appreciation

He very clearly has flaws, and sometimes he fucks up! But I appreciate that he really seems to always try to make things better, ya know? He apologized to hasan and to the speedrun mods when he went overboard (even though his apology to the mods was kind of late) and he generally seems like he’s trying to do better. He def needs to learn how to handle drama better but he’s clearly working on it!!

And he’s a genuinely good guy! He’s just this guy from Florida who seems kind of new to reeling in a fandom as large as his and so he’s obviously going to make mistakes, but it’s really cool that he tries, and that he still wants to keep an open relationship with all of us, even if I do sometimes with he kept more private (dream please king, you have terrible anonymity for a faceless person. dream please, at this point I’m scared you’re gonna leak your social security number /lh)

He’s so willing to support the marginalized groups in his fandom, and he works hard to make it a safe space for everyone. He’s donating money to charity for pride month, and he even had an open conversation with us about whether or not to make pride merch because he understands what rainbow capitalism is!!

And he prioritizes friendship so much!! Someone who’s actually a big dream watcher probably has the clip, but he wanted to bring his friends with him to the top, and he succeeded! And it was a brilliant move on his part, because you can always create better content with people you know and like. He mentioned it on a podcast (scuffed podcast I think? Not sure) how he doesn’t want to take any money from his friends the way Team 10 does because he doesn’t care about money and he likes his friends, and that’s so cool of him.

He’s also so smart? People have talked about how brilliant he is with the algorithm and that’s cool and all but he really understands how to make good content. I’m not even the biggest fan of manhunt and I can’t deny that they’re well made and hold interest really well. And he understands what makes a good SMP too! The people around him are not only people he thinks are going to be successful but they’re also his friends. We don’t see it all that often with some of them but he has great dynamics with every one of them off camera.

And my favorite thing about him is how willing he is to give credit to other people, too. The Dream SMP is probably one of the biggest things he’s ever been associated with, and it has his fucking name on it, it would be so easy for him to take credit for all of it, but he gives almost all of the credit to people like Wilbur and Tommy and all of the others, since they carry the plot and scripting. On his eboys podcast he really only took credit for being able to spot talented people, which is so kind of him.

And he’s so willing to uplift other people, especially smaller creators. Do I think the DSMP needs more diversity? Yeah. But it’s so fucking cool that he brings in smaller creators who he thinks have potential and let’s them shine. And in some cases (Ranboo) that skyrockets them! And he’s never been wrong about someone having potential and being a strong creator. He talked about it on the Eboys podcast but he whitelisted Tommy after seeing him and going ‘yeah that kid makes great content’ and look where that’s gone!! That one action had a ripple effect and now we have the smp as we know and love!! And Tommy is on such a rise because Dream was right, he makes awesome content. Same with ranboo and captain puffy and foolish and all of the others who I can’t actually remember right now, Dream was right about them being able to make awesome content, and they do! He doesn’t even stream on his own server so that people are forced to go watch other people, which shows how much he wants to support his friends.

He supports teenagers so much, too. Some people call it creepy, but I really don’t think so? The animator for the mask MV is a teenager and isn’t a professional, so even if I didn’t like it loads, it’s still so cool of him to get it commissioned from a smaller creator. And he’s always willing to show support for tubbo and ranboo and Tommy, and he was a fan of purpled! When tubbo’s song drops I can already tell he’s gonna support the fuck outta it (Sidenote: psst dream if you’re seeing this, crumb cuptoast would be an excellent addition to the server. You wanna add crumb so badly)

tl:dr - i may not be a huge dream stan, and the guy has places to improve, but he’s such a nice guy that genuinely seems to want to make good content with his friends

Like, seriously, if you want to be full in goth one day and cottage ore then next, you should do that. If all these different aesthetics make you happy, then you should go for it!

And, like, I know there are things getting in the way of this, like job dress codes and money. And, like, insecurity especially. And they’re all valid and stuff.

But, like, if you’re able to, even just a little bit, then you should. Everyone else can get walk away from you at the end of the day, but you can’t do that to yourself.
