I know its not canon but I always liked the idea that Flurry Heart grew up to be a normal pony. Never went on any princess-title-earning quest, no grand magical destiny, no real royal responsibilities. Just a normal pony (who happens to be an alicorn) free to enjoy life with her friends and hobbies

i have been thinking about the zuiyin that heavenly demons have… it’s my understanding that only heavenly demons have this naturally, but in the eng version we see mbj with a similar blue mark on his forehead. since other demons don’t have it naturally, what if it’s a tattoo?

demon nobles took the practice directly from heavenly demons’ zuiyin, the way fashion tended to trickle down from nobility. demons value power, so what if to earn the right to wear their clan’s mark, young nobles had to complete some kind of challenge—fight the parent and win, slay some legendary beast, conquer a neighboring territory—and when they’ve completed it, they’re officially considered an adult member of the clan. it’s seen as incredibly shameful to be an adult of a certain age and still not have earned your clan’s mark.

some clans might even expel adults who’ve failed to earn their mark by a certain age. those expelled adults’ children might be able to complete a clan’s challenge and earn their way in, but grandchildren cannot. by that time, the main clan has probably decided that that whole branch of the family is weak, and it’s better to cut off a weak branch for the sake of the tree.

of course, heavenly demons don’t have to earn their zuiyin; they’re born with it, which speaks to the strength of their bloodline.
