Headcanon time:

I feel like miqo'te have a lot of cat-like habits, in that they enjoy sitting on surfaces that aren't typically meant for sitting (tables, counters, etc.). So after so many years of being together, I think Aed picks up some miqo'te tendencies from G'raha. Sitting on tables, for starters.

He also headbunts/rubs his cheek against Raha's face as a form of affection, which I also headcanon miqo'te do to loved ones. Little ways of learning how to say "I love you" in as many ways as he can.
