never been so glad to be picky with my fics 💀 reading your 🔥 ☕ post about kim was like peeking into a horrific alternate dimension lmao
😂 (prev)
most fics aren't! by large kp fics are good! not everything is for me, but overall there are many good fics out there to be reading. i've just also been living in the kimchay tag since the filmania trailer, so i happen to have read through a lot of its fics thanks to circumstance. largely i am trying to stick with very broad and general topics for these tea asks because it's all about personal preferences of what draws me towards a fic vs what turns me off and not get into anything too specific; but when you've been reading a tag for multiple years since the tag first got started, you tend to have seen a lot more of the obscure stuff than the average reader.
#and like#in fairness#another aspect of being here since the early early days is that you also went thru all the character growing pains kp canon did#all the filmania characters were strikingly different from their BOC counterparts#but some changed a lot more than others and Kim in particular was one of them#and there was a very long and unsure wait between the filmania trailer release and the actual show dropping#so there's some tension within in the earlier fic versions of Kim because they weren't just a clash of show and novel characterizations#but a clash of trailer kim - show kim - *fanon* kim - novel kim#i still do think a lot of people were just bad at understanding kim's character because they approached him like a collection of tropes#instead of approaching him like an actual character to develop#but also like. juggling the influences of four very different versions of one character is A Lot to juggle

A relationship with Morgott the Omen King would consist of:
Embodying the quintessential enemies/frenemies to lovers trope.
Morgott being fascinated by the obvious size difference and as a result, he's much gentler with you.
Bickering like an old married couple. Well, Morgott does.
On the other hand, you think he's your living, breathing jungle gym and so you take every moment you can to just... be all over him.
Him not understanding your fascination with his tail. It's not uncommon to find you playing with it or— are those... flowers wreaths? On his tail?
Of course, Morgott highkey lowkey indulges your fascination, teasing you by holding his tail high enough so you can't reach it.
Chiding Morgott for his self-care. Or lack thereof. It's improved with your help.
Trying to convince him to change that cloak of his to something not so tattered but Skrunklegott can't be bothered so... there's that. For now. You're totally gonna get Boc to rectify this.
Morgott leaning into your touch whenever you touch his horns. Or his face. Hell, whenever you touch him, he's a goner.
Strolls in nature outside of Leyndell. Sometimes you walk alongside him, sometimes you don't and his shoulder is surprisingly comfortable.
Beholding the Erdtree together at night. This is also when you two shared your first kiss.
Morgott being the first to say those three words. You thought it was cute how flustered he was. Morgott was so shocked by his confession (he blurted it out) that he was about to take it back out of embarrassment until you smiled and told him you loved him, too.
Morgott highkey planning your future with him because let him tell it, he knew early on that you'd be his consort.

Cards on the table, 4 Minutes is probably going to be my entire personality for the next few weeks, and it's because BOC has the smartest smut writers on deck. Like oh my god damn.
So, I kept noticing the use of water as a thematic device, and something about this kept nagging at the back of my mind, until I remembered homeopathy.
In the 80s, there was a paper written called Theory of Water Memory, which proposed the idea that water could remember antibodies after they'd been so diluted the original molecule had left. This was the creation of homeopathy, which everyone, quite rightly, dismissed as bullshit.
BUT....
Writers liked the idea of water being able to hold the memory of something, so it became a popularly used literary trope for water to be regarded as something that could remember time.
So here we have a BL drama about a doctor on a revenge quest that's potentially set to be sidetracked by holistic medicines.
This drama has me as on my bullshit as I can possibly be.
It even gave use a Mommy dommy. I'm so fucked. I can't believe we're finally in the timeline with classy smut. Listen, if Tonkla doesn't get with lanky cop, I'm so down with a Fah/Korn/Tonkla. I'm a problem like that.
But yeah, my early predictions are that Tyme being a doctor and the homeopathic time traveling really serve enough of a contrast to me that it's become pretty clear the end game for these visions seems to be to stop this insane revenge quest he's on. It's clearly meant to be a foil, likely something to prevent the shooting we see in episode 1. I think this makes a lot of sense because he's one guy trying to take on the mafia. There's no other way this ends for him without supernatural intervention, and he's in a high-emotion state it would take another high-emotion state, like love, to derail.

MileApo & Social Media
Mile posted three more promo clips for his concert. Every one of them a special cut of the first promo video from 27.04. Each focused on one of the three words Mile used to describe his concert:
Romantic. Erotic. Exotic.
The Hidden Message clips of Apo/Porsche were only featured in the 'Romantic' clip. And of course Apo commented and shared it as an IGs:
The word is the same he used before for the full promo video and translates to "authentic" like in the title of the concert 'Authentic Mile'.
Two days ago Apo posted the video he took of the fans at the Siamese Assets Event on 30.04. This interaction happened in the comments:
Don't know what is better that Mile probably talked about Apo and Apo teased/misunderstood or that Apo didn't say "my fans" but "our fans" even though it was a solo event.
And today Mile went live in the morning with the BOC IG account to answer questions about the concert right before the ticket sale. This moments was very cute:
1. When Apo first commented:
Staff: "Nong Po came!"
Mile: "Ohhh is it?"
Staff (reading Apo’s comment): "I am here! Woke up early just for P’Mile na~ eiei"
Mile: "Hehehe... Please help a little, Po. Let’s get excited too na About if Po will come to work too or not"
[Translation credit]
2. The teasing:
Which I've seen translated into "baby hair 55555".
3. The goosebumps:
Later today Apo made another IGs about Mile's upcoming concert and the fact that it was already sold out at that time:
They are playing with us!!! Of course he won't need a ticket 😌

Love In the Air is getting a Japanese adaptation.
Things have come a full circle for MeMindY in a way. It was while traveling through Japan in November 2018 that MAME decided to start a production house to film series based on her novel in her own way.
Looks like it is a fan project of sorts based on what creators has to say on the project website, so it makes sense that it is MeMindY’s project that gets Japanese adaptation. (If not, it would have been GMMTV, BOC or some other government-supported production company that engaged in Thai government’s Commerce Ministry department facilitated “BL as soft power” negotiations with their Japanese counterparts.
more on this here)
This adaptation is not surprising considering the crowd that showed up at MAME’s Japanese fan-meet consisted of older folk too. It reminds me of Chen Hao producing Stay with Me. While I would be happy to have more bottom-up, demand-driven productions rather than top-down, supply-driven ones, it makes me worried too. I had previously expressed my wish for popular BL manga and novels to get live action adaptation. Now, we have a handful of live action based on works that have won Chil-chil awards but those adaptations have been disappointing to say the least.
source
I am a little worried about production quality. Hopefully, they’ll manage to balance cost and quality since this project’s return on investment would be a signal to future initiatives. I am excited for Shoma who gave an excellent performance in the unfortunately gelded adaptation of the super-popular manga 25 Ji, Akasaka de. I am eager to know who will play Saifah (hopefully they'll retain that character) and Chai.
My Insane Wishlist: Non-Thai adaptation of MAME’s BL
Breath – Japanese live action adaptation TulHin was one of the side couples in Love by Chance 2 but I want an adaptation that stays true to the spirit of their story. In addition, it will be really nice to see Hin in violet rope shibari in the hotel getaway scene. All the shibari scenes we got so far in live action BL has been fleeting and of very little consequence. Japan should attempt adapting this into period piece set in Taisho or early Showa era. The novel is well suited for an adaptation set in that period with rapidly changing position of the aristocracy in the society, conflict between old and new orders, nouveau riche industrialists, feudal households with retainers performing multiple functions, specific forms of xenophobia, grand balls, arranged marriages, intergenerational power struggle, familism and ample space for intrigue. Also, Japan has a good track record of being sincere in their depiction of complexities of androphilic male x androphilic female interactions – they can make Tul's struggle heart-wrenching to watch.
OatShin from Test Love and OatShin Diary – Tamil-Marathi bilingual movie adaptation with Harshvardhan Rane as Shin, Arjun Das as Oat and Suriya as Akira (Shin's cousin brother). In the novel Love Storm from which Love in the Air is adapted, it is Oat and not Prapai who is the best street racer in their circuit. Saifah, Oat and Saifah's girlfriend are in fact friends and classmates from college - depicted in Test Love. Oat's boyfriend Shinji was his junior in college. Shin is friends with characters from Love By Chance. Their relationship starts at the end of Test Love and in OatShin Diaries we get to see them navigate long distance relationship, familial acceptance and work-life balance as salarymen. OatShin has a very cute dynamic - they are a riba CP (reversible couple) with a lot of push and pull. Shin is super sly and sensitive and I can see Harshvardhan teasing the hell out of whoever he is paired with. Arjun Das probably can't do racer very well - so just get him that ATV from Por for added illegality. He would be perfect as Oat and very adorable too.
Try Me: Chai Win – Japanese manga adaptation with minimal censor bars – Chai’s pearlings needs to exist in 2D version.
Try Me: Chai Win – Turkish live action adaptation – I think Pawit-bey has a nice ring to it and I would pay to listen to it for 40 episodes of 2-hour length each. Maybe some over the top honorifics would be more suitable coming from Chai’s mouth like efendi. Mert Yazicioglu or Ali Yagci as Win and Can Yaman as Chai.
Chai appeared in Love in the Air as a crucial minor character who comes to Phayu's rescue. He has a love story of his own with Pakin's civilian* cousin brother, Pawit aka Win, that is complicated by duty and obligations and extortive meddling by Pakin's dad (the kingpin).

The Patreon/Kofi demo was updated on July 29!
What’s new?
More of chapter 5! (it's a big one)
See more of Mordred's squire training
Duel with Elaine - or don't
A very Elaine-centric update all-around, with both platonic and romantic moments!
Accolon finally makes an appearance this chapter
Patreon link: https://www.patreon.com/llamaswriting
Kofi link: https://ko-fi.com/llamaswriting
What else can you find on my Patreon for the month of August?
Squire tier: weekly developer’s blog, sneak peeks, early access to the demo
Knight tier: all the above, plus a short story centering on different characters of Boc! We’ve had stories about Morgana, Merlin, Arthur, and even the fae! For August, I’m planning a story featuring Sophie.
Champion Knight tier: all the above, plus a second short story, this one from Mordred’s POV, featuring a character (either family or RO) that gets voted by the patreons. In August, the choice is between the ROs. The poll is open until the 6th of August.
Royal Sorcerer tier: all the above, plus a POV-shift mini-game that depicts a scene from the game, told from the perspective of a different character. For August, patreons voted for Gawain/Mordred confessing their feelings in chapter 3 at the fair.
Note: The Squire and Knight tiers can also be found on Kofi.

Why I’m having the most fun with DFF (spoiler free)
I know a lot of people probably dropped DFF after episode 2 or 3 so I feel compelled to write about how much I’m enjoying it. I am not typically a horror/slasher girlie (much to my partner’s chagrin 😬), but I found the characters mysterious enough to hold out for the story and romantic elements, plus I can tell the actors are having a lot of fun with the slasher parts so it makes it more enjoyable for me personally. And I think the show is doing a great job rewarding the audience for our patience considering it was marketed as a BL.
The thing that keeps me coming back is the slow reveal of the backstory and the little tickling of my brain when I think about how the different characters are complicit in Non's suffering and why he or those that care about him would want revenge. I also think this show stands out because it has just enough of a BL subplot to pull me in and then keep me with all the poor decisions of these very flawed characters.
Everyone watching can probably attest to how much we as an audience are loving hating these characters. All of these boys are written with distinct personalities and motives in both being a part of this "friend" group and contributing to the fate of our main boy Non. Even Non is not without his flaws. I think Barcode is doing a great job embodying a queer high school boy living in poverty, struggling with his mental health, and choosing to tolerate intense bullying and manipulation in the slight hopes he'll eventually be accepted and welcomed in this shitty boy group. Meanwhile all the characters within the group are revealing so much about their priorities and how they push down a lot of their feelings and convictions for the sake of not stirring the pot (aka Por). I find Tee and Jin especially compelling considering Tee's parallels to Non with feeling trapped in poverty and debt and Jin's parallels to Non with being so desperate to be accepted and how that ties in to their queer identities.
There's also so much going on with classism, coercion, and police corruption which are elements and themes that recent BL have attempted to tackle and in a lot of ways I think DFF is doing a much better job in both narrative integration and execution. All this being said, I also think it's important to remember this is only Be On Cloud's second BL and I think they're hitting it out of the park in terms of pushing the genre forward and challenging some of the tired settings and tropes still being shoved down our throats with repetitive, formulaic, and often rushed and incoherent narratives (I'm looking at you GMMTV). So, if you gave up early on, I encourage you to give it another try. Even if you gotta 2x speed or completely skip some of the more gruesome scenes. If for no other reason than to acknowledge and give credit to BOC for progressing our beloved genre forward.
TLDR;
DFF is out here delivering a really complex, nuanced, and satisfying narrative with queer characters and if you gave up early I implore you to pick it back up even if you gotta skip some of the slasher scenes. I promise it's worth it!

The most difficult thing about putting these posts together is deciding what was the cutest thing Mileapo did each day. I love that there's way too many days when there's no clear answer. ;)
ANYWAY. Mileapo flew to Taipei today for the Man Suang tour. At the airport, a few BOC people sat down to eat, Apo was among them, Mile was not, but he still stood by Apo like the good husband he is:
In a live they did, Apo called Mile handsome as usual like the good husband he is:
Meanwhile, the topic of discussion was Mile getting a new haircut:
Based on the pics from the dinner they had on Nov 15, he must have gotten it yesterday. On the same day, someone else's live happened to capture Apo at his hairdresser:
Did they go get their hair cut together? Your guess is as good as mine, but the timing sure is interesting.
We also got these precious moments of Mileapo today, like Mile standing (again) by Apo:
Mileapo joking together following a fan's question on whether they've had a fight since they were seated apart (and that exchanged look):
Apo calling out Mile's name, trying to get his attention even when seated apart 'coz husbands:
Apo kept complimenting Mile today:
And again, while pointing at Mile:
We also had news that Man Suang will probably be available for everyone to see by early next year (I saw one fan said February, another April), and that the plans for the new Mileapo show (IDK whether the Chinese S project or another one) are done:
Oh, and two throwbacks... of all the pics from the Nov 15 dinner that Apo could have shared yesterday, he shared the one where you can see his hand on Mile's shoulder:
On Sep 22, while they were in Vietnam, and Mile chose to stay by their hotel's pool to try out cocktails, it seems like Apo chose to go out, and he brought food back for Mile to eat:

How Kimchay’s love story is presented in KP the Series
Yknow, I think what’s one of the most interesting things about the way Kimchay’s story is told in the series is that it’s actually much easier to see how Kim fell in love with Chay, rather than the other way around.
Like, why did Chay fall for Kim? He idolized Wik, but what made it so that he fell for the individual behind the persona, yknow? Sure, there was most definitely physical attraction there, on account of the fact that Kim Theerapanyakul has Jeff Satur’s “sculpted on a Saturday by the gods” face, but otherwise, it’s actually harder to pinpoint why Chay fell in love, and we have little evidence of it.
In one of the Polaroids that Kim has in his collection, Chay describes Kim as being “very kind.” In what ways, I wonder? Was Kim a caring and polite gentleman when they’d gone on those little dates together? Were there any quirks that Kim had that Chay found charming, perhaps? Maybe it was the genuine connection they had through music and that they could just nerd out together? Chay could be himself when he was with Kim, in a way that he could only ever be with Porsche, up until that point in his life.
Furthermore, what interactions we as the audience see when Kim and Chay are on screen, BOC made it a point to always focus on Kim’s micro facial expressions, not Chay’s. The point is, Kim’s behavior towards Chay outside of the tutoring sessions and whatnot, it’s a mystery as to what made the younger man fall in love with him.
But looking at their love story the other way around, it’s so to easy to see why Kim fell in love with Chay, and Idk, I just find that...so very endearing, yknow?
Each time they were on screen together pre!break-up scene, Kim was always shown to be fascinated by the different aspects of Chay’s personality: his observant and empathetic nature, as shown when the young boy was able to pinpoint the little details that Kim had painstakingly included in his music videos. His boldness when asking Kim to be his guitar tutor, his sheer raw talent in being able to write a song within a few minutes, his headstrong nature when he tracked him down to sing him a song, etc etc.
Hell, even the more negative aspects of Chay’s personality: his impulsiveness when he put himself in harm’s way at the club, his defiance at blocking Kim’s every attempt post!break-up to contact him.
I could go on and on, but personally, I just LOVE the fact that because we as the audience get to see how and why Kim fell in love with Chay, we in turn as the audience are also drawn in by his charms. I’ve seen a lot of Kinnporsche react videos on both Youtube and Tiktok, and a lot of the commentators almost always never fail to mention how admirably brave Chay is, even if his behavior also comes across as a bit cringy. It’s because of the fact that he’s so brave I think, that he comes off as cringy, because we as the audience can’t help but feel that we could never do something so daring.
For a man like Kim who grew up likely somewhat spoiled and having the assurance of the Theerapanyakul name behind him all his life, whose always had servants and bodyguards at his beck and call (we’ve seen his callous attitude towards Big in episode 3 and 4, he’s mean motherfucker), whose early life must’ve been a constant parade of social performance and rigid structure, Chay’s otherworldly personality must’ve been a breath of fresh air, something that very much intrigued him in a way no other person has before.
Personally, I’m of the opinion that Kim fell in love with Chay’s soul first and foremost, and mayhaps the physical attraction came afterwards (Barcode is a cutie pie, indeed).
But, as is the very nature of the Theerapanyakul men, it’s no wonder he could hurt Chay so badly. But in that same vein, it’s no wonder he yearns to get him back just as badly. It’s no wonder he can lose his temper so badly when Chay put himself in danger.
And it’s no wonder, he can kill so easily for Chay.

The tattoos on Bible's thighs are his own and in the early BOC videos with B*ild, when they learn to strip dance, you can see it clearer.
Eventually, after the video aired, he mentioned on his Twitter what they mean with the rune pics and significance and all that.
Hi, Anon.
Yes, someone in the comment section of that post made me aware of it.
It just never crossed my mind that someone who is not Nordic would tattoo runes on their body. As a Nordic person, we're (mostly) too humble to believe other parts of the world know anything about us, lol. So I have to say that I was really surprised when I saw that other comment.
Anyway, if I had the time to follow all the QL actors I love, I'd do it. But I don't, so here we are, lol.
Still, the tattoos may or may not have any significance to the story. If they didn't, they would've probably covered them up, right? So they might have a significance. You know, besides looking sexy as hell...
Let's just wait and find out.
Thanks for your comment.

Random Thoughts about 4Minutes (EP 7):
I don't have much to say about this episode. We saw how Tonkla's past with his drunken dad (isn't it the same actor who played JJ's character drunken dad too in DFF?!). I guess in BOC when you have an alcoholic father, you always end up killing someone. We understand quite rightly why he doesn't trust the police. Justice was never served when it comes to Tonkla's life and it must be ironic that the one who killed his dear brother was the brother of his lover. I feel so bad for him. How can you not lost it when this type of thing happen to you?!
We also saw how Win found the evidence about Title and tried to give it to Tonkla, but he couldn't. He tries so hard to help Tonkla to show him that there is some justice, but in the end, it doesn't quite work the way he wants. I guess he is really involved with Tonkla, but as for Tonkla, I'm not really sure. Can you give time for love when you've been disappointed for such a long time by everything and everyone? They have such a different view of justice and there are only two choices possibles: either Win decide to defend Tonkla's action until the end, or they're going to drift apart.
This time we also discovered how connected Tyme and Great were from early on. It was fun to see the young actor who played San in Century of Love, playing Great this time. Will they only use this child to play any young version of BL actors from now on?! It would be funny. That was the only funny part of the episode for that matter because the rest of it was quite sad. Tyme feels awful for saying bad things to Great, but he wasn't entirely wrong. I guess, he couldn't really get detached from what he experienced with Great.
Now, they are both on the brick of death and I suppose the last episode will make us see how Tyme would have altered the timeline if he got the chance to change few things. I don't think any of them will make it through… at least in this life. Either they will met again in the afterlife, or maybe get reborn. I think the first option has more chance to happen. They will be free from the chains of what was their life. Can we love or learn to love in the afterlife? Can we even meet others? I guess we'll get the answer in the last episode.
I feel so drained after this one. It's such a poignant story. It always makes me think too much. I like how surprising it always feels for me because I have so much trouble trying to imagine what is going to happen. It's very interesting.

I'M YELLING. I woke up and my brain immediately chose violence. It suddenly went "what if we write Filmania!Kim x BoC!Kim x Chay?" KhimhantKimChay, I guess. It's too early for this, brain. Why are you doing this to me???
Khimhant sees him waiting off to the side when the concert ends. He recognizes the face. Doe-like brown eyes framed by soft, slightly curled bangs. The face is slimmer than the last time he saw it, though. Khimhant gives the boy's body a once over. He's taller now, too.
Something itches under his skin, and before he knows it, he's crossing the room and sidling next to the boy.
"Phoenix's brother?"
"Ah," the surprised yelp makes Khimhant’s blood thrum. "I'm sorry, what?"
Khimhant’s grin widens, teeth on display. "You're Phoenix's brother," he repeats. "I remember seeing you sneak in to watch some of his fights a few years ago."
The sudden flush of red that creeps across the boy's cheeks is captivating.
"Yeah," he laughs sheepishly. "I didn't expect anyone, let alone you, to know anything about that – or me."
Khimhant steps a little closer. "I have a good memory. I didn't know you were a Wik fan, though. I haven't seen you at any of his previous concerts. What's your name? Are you a new fan?"
Khimhant watches the red flush deepen. Interesting.
"No! I – I've loved Wik since his early days! I just haven't been able to get tickets before! This is my first time. Um, My name is Porchay. " Arms flail about awkwardly, and Khimhant feels a little charmed despite himself. He knows Kim would be eating this up if he was here. "But you, uh, you can call me Chay."
"Well, I don't normally share, but," he steps forward again and feels the heat radiating off of the other's chest, and he tilts his head back, slowly, "would you like to come backstage and meet Wik?"
The sharp inhale and dilated pupils are enough of an answer for Khimhant.
He reaches for Chay and wraps his fingers around a surprisingly strong wrist. He tugs Chay along with him in the direction of Kim's dressing room and says, casually, "This is my first time."
"What?"
Khimhant tosses a wide grin over his shoulder at Chay's confused stare. "Sharing my brother."
Chay stumbles and squeaks, and Khimhant suddenly feels the familiar weight of Kim's stare from across the room.
Oh, Khimhant has a good feeling about tonight.

About my OC Chiffany baby!
Her name is Tara, but Chucky calls her "Bunny" because she's loved bunnies since she was 2 or 3. 🥹
Her middle name is Pamela, which is my headcanon name for Tiffany's mother. Tara Pamela Ray.
She is a Cinnamon Roll™️ type, absolutely NOTHING like her parents!
She became Christian in her late-ish teens sort of out of rebellion against her parents (she's not preachy or bigoted about it, though), but also because she hopes it'll, like... keep the evil out of her, I guess?
During BoC, she comes home from staying at a friend's overnight to find that her father is back... as a doll. When she walks in, he realizes it's her, and addresses her as "Bunny!" from the crib he's locked in, terrifying the poor girl. She leaves again to go back to her friend's later that day, not returning until the next day when her parents have already left with Jesse & Jade. Somehow, she meets up with David, and ends up on the rest of the road trip with them.
After the events of BoC (when she was 14), she would've lived with Jesse and Jade, since I'm pretty sure that Jesse was at least 18 and thus, could be her legal guardian.
Between 2004 and 2009, Tiffany (as Jennifer) is able to find her, and they reunite. She is, of course, appalled that her mother stole someone else's life, but she loves her baby siblings.
She was such a late 90's/early 2000's teen girl. She totally loved Britney and 'NSYNC and BSB because I SAID SO. (Let's... ignore what happened in Seed. 😒)
I suppose she looked somewhat like this:
#I'm never gonna forgive Don for killing Britney and Martha in SoC; that shit was so unfunny. 🙄#Anyway!...#MY TARE BEAR! 😙🫶🏽#chucky oc#horror oc#chiffany#chucky x tiffany#txt
