Ticci Toby x G/N Reader with Schizophrenia

Note: I was kind of struggling with this one but hopefully its good and I would love to learn more about people with schizophrenia and how it affects different people, so if I got anything wrong please comment about it because I definitely don't know everything that comes with having schizophrenia

Toby first met you because you were a new proxy and were assigned to work with him

He wasn't too thrilled with having you as a partner as he usually likes going killing alone

He first found out about you having schizophrenia from Tim and after that he kind of viewed your differently

Toby out of everyone knows what its like since he himself suffers from mild schizophrenia along with a lot of other things that people would call him crazy for

You and Toby eventually get closer after going on a few missions together and you really enjoy his company

Unlike other people you've met before, Toby doesn't treat you like you're any different then everyone else

Just like you, Toby also suffers from hearing voices and you guys kind of bond over it in a weird way

He talks to you about whenever the voices get really loud for him he likes to wear headphones and listen to music to kind of soothe his mind a bit

Whenever you are going through an episode Toby tries his best to make you feel heard and tries reassuring you that you are safe without downplaying whatever your going through

"Hey, I know you're really scared right now and I would be too but I promise you I wouldn't let anything or anyone do anything to hurt you okay"

Whenever it gets really bad for you he always tries to make sure his voice is calm and reassuring and asks if there is anything he can do to make you feel better

thinking about rosekiller meeting in college. they don't know each other's names, but they have a bunch of classes together. they bump into each other at a party, barty drinking vodka with a straw and evan not drinking at all. they (barty) flirt but don't catch each other's names, and go home thinking about each other. they make up names for each other, barty calling evan an angel and evan calling barty a demon. when they find out their real names, it's like something clicks into place and next thing you know they're making out in a bathroom stall. they study each other, barty being a psych major and evan a med student, then after college ends they stop talking until they inevitably cross paths again, by accident.

College!Carmen who is on the swimming team. He's in the same year as you, and you take a couple classes together.

-It's hard not to notice Carmen, even though he's obviously not into attention, usually lounging in the back of the classroom, seemingly unfazed by the lectures. Despite his rough edges—the constant smoking, the tired look, the perpetual workout routine—there's something magnetic about him.

-In class, it's a challenge to keep your eyes off him. He's always surrounded by his group of friends, laughing and chatting, but your eyes are drawn to him. Even when he's just sitting there, he has this effortless aura of confidence and nonchalance that annoys but also attracts you. And then there are those moments when your gaze lingers a bit too long, and he catches you staring. Your face heats up immediately, and you quickly look away, hoping he doesn't think you're a complete weirdo.

-But at the swimming meets, that's when you can really appreciate him. Seeing Carmen in his element, his lean body cutting through the water with such grace and power is mesmerizing. And yes, his Speedo doesn't leave much to the imagination, but you try to be respectful and not gawk. Still, it's difficult to hide your admiration, and you pray that your friends haven't noticed your interest, as you would never hear the end of it.
