I think it all comes down to the fact that Olivia turned out to be the most disgusting person ever, personally and professionally, and a lot of her shit ended up affecting Harry as well. Honestly, Harry and his team made some AWFUL choices during the Holivia era. You can find more details under my HOLIVA tag (although I stopped talking about it halfway through because it became unbearable to keep addressing), but here’s a quick summary:

The drama around Don’t Worry Darling made Harry and Olivia’s "relationship" look super unprofessional. Florence Pugh, being the respected actress she is, took the opposite side and barely promoted the movie, which spoke volumes to people. So the relationship that was meant to promote the movie completely backfired, leaving both of them in a pretty bad light. Instead of generating buzz for the film, it ended up hurting their reputations. Then there were Olivia's statements about feminism and empowerment, which came across as performative, especially when her actions didn’t align. The hypocrisy was unreal, and Harry sticking by her just made it worse, especially with those cringe pap walks.

On top of that, there was all the drama with her ex. Harry was labeled a "homewrecker" since the narrative was that Olivia left Jason Sudeikis for him. Things got worse when Olivia was served custody papers while promoting DWD on stage, which only added more drama and hurt her image. And again, all of this drama extended to Harry, as they continued to be seen together. There was so much more to it, and honestly, it was really hard to watch.

After a few phone calls, the two photographers discover rumors of a romantic relationship between Harry and Olivia. 10 minutes later, photographed them together. in Nanny tell all Nanny said Olivia was still texting Jason to say she loved him, that Olivia was pretending to not have service. Nanny found out she was at the wedding online.

4 January - Harry hike in LA

15 January - Ted Lasso Season 2 starts filming London, in Nanny Tell all nanny said that Ted confronted her on the plane there about her telling Olivia that Jason had been crying and not coping. Jason then offered the Nanny a life coach to get info out of her and they were attending therapy with the Nanny.

18 January - Coney Island released as a single.

14 February Olivia at Harry’s LA house with luggage. Don't worry Darling filming wraps. On the 21st Taylor Lover tour cancelled.

I definitely don’t think she’s a good person, but I will never understand what that woman — someone with interests, a social life, kids, a budding new career — saw in an empty vessel like Harry to completely throw her life away the way she did. Like, I can’t imagine being her friends and watching that disaster unfold for years.

I felt the same way. Watching her interviews related to dwd, it's very clear that she's passionate about directing. She speaks very eloquently yet I wondered how can someone like her fall for an absolute idiot. I think she was in love with the version of him she had in her mind, which is why she praised that man for literally anything (remember when she said he's devoid of toxic masculinity only because he wore a fkn apron). Her nanny spilled that when Jason & her went for couples therapy, the therapist said she was addicted to him like he's her personal drug (not exact words). Because she had this glorified version of him in her head, anything he did was attractive to her to the point it cost her her family, movie & reputation. But then she had to learn it in a hard way that he WAS in fact just like every other men. Its very comical to me that she praised him to be devoid of toxic masculinity only for him to makeout with her friend not even 1 year after their breakup (I can never see emrata the same way again after watching that monstrosity)

it's exactly what it was. she basically got with a fantasy romance figure. like dating leonardo dicaprio around titanic era and thinking he actually was jack from the movie. that's how olivia and many other women see harry. he's created a fanfic version of himself as a real romantic lead. his fans have crafted this sexually open sexually expressive romantic sweet political intelligent funny down to earth gentle soul of a man and get wet at the fantasy they invented largely from larrie stylinson fanfiction that helped them escape from the way he treated women in real life.

Harry barely did any promo for HsH. He didn't appear on a single TV show except to make the Daylight video on Corden. He did one interview with Homes & Gardens and then another with Rolling Stone where he mainly talked about DWD. Nothing else. So, I'm not expecting much. Fine Line era was much better for promo we could actually enjoy.

i think the best thing he could do is take a break from the public eye when he’s done touring. similar to what he did in between lot18 and fine line, maybe longer? i also think he and his team should work on his image and understand that with his current status he can’t quite treat certain subjects so lightly because that’s when he gets most of the hate. the GP doesn’t have time or care about what he actually meant or implied or whatever. that’s what happened after the rolling stone interview, with dwd press, and now post grammys…

when it comes to music, i would love if he considered a visual album! this could be really fun! i would definitely enjoy a collab of sort. not necessarily in his name but i’d be really curious to see him work with another artist. if he plans to continue acting, i’d die to have him in a romcom additionally to the marvel stuff. fashion wise, i hope he attends the met again and works with more designers.

Have you ever felt disconnected from harry the way you did for 1989 Taylor ? If you haven't how did you get back your Taylor connection? I am going through a hard time listening to harry because of this era and how he acted. He seems so ............... to me when he used to be my favourite artist. Fine line was a therapy for me but not HsH. His some actions reg covid was also questionable. Not to mention holivia. It really reminded me of Tayvin. I feel so bad about it because I want to go back to liking him but I literally can't. I went through your 1989 disconnect so can you tell me how you got that intimacy with her again? I really want to enjoy this album before he releases his next and since you went thru something similar maybe you can help me

I always loved Harry most when he was on stage. I felt more connected to him and like loving him was such a given, and a shared given at that. actor!harry always made me uncomfortable and so dwd making me feel bad was like not a big deal to me. I didn’t expect holivia to be serious until they were, and like you, it reminded me of tayvin a lot. I think you’ve talked to @septembersghost and she and I have made that comparison quite a bit. 

As such, I’ve managed to feel close to him in his flourishing and flowering since the breakup. His humor in instagram in this last bit of the tour was enough for me to refollow him and it felt like the old days a bit!

I don’t know that I can ever forgive him for covid though. Like I said, Harry on stage is the Harry I feel the most connected to and it broke my heart harder than I could ever tell you that I wasn’t able to love him the way I wanted this tour. He was IN MY CITY and I didn’t go. I was working at the closest hotel to the arena until the weekend before the show and I took reservations for that night and I told my coworkers what a Harry show looks like (this was his first solo show in the city so having the heads up for what harries are like was helpful) and I listened to fan after fan call and try to make a reservation and they told me all about their favorite songs and what he meant to them and I just............. Was sad.

Thinking about Harry’s House’s sometimes cringey lyrics as like an unedited intimacy also helps me. There are still some things I can’t do.. Cinema for instance is just the single worst thing Harry’s ever done musically and the “cocaine side boob choke her with a sea view” lyric makes me uncomfortable, but I get through that one for “jUst act NORMAL” but I can’t listen to Cinema… But most of the album feels really intimate to me in a way it didn’t at first. A lot of that reframing also came from Jess so honestly, she’s my best resource for you!

Not only does it make him look like a terrible actor using his partners for roles. It makes the woman look bad too just being associated with him. If I was a serious actress and my boyfriend who needs a redemption arch asked me if I could get him a role or we could work side by side on a project I’d say no. If he does bad, which he probably will it will fall back on someone and as we said during DWD era. Harry’s fans aren’t enough, especially in the acting world. Harry doesn’t have enough pull, that’s why a lot of his media projects fall short. He’s not taken seriously at all. He can social climb all he wants it’s not gonna change the public’s perception.

The one thing I feel like is missing from this era is cute, fun interviews that show off his charm and charisma. We only really see it onstage now and that’s one thing I think we got a good amount of in 2019. the Amelia/CSD follow is exciting bc imo it will pay off in the future and is sth different than what we’ve seen him do. Zane lowe and stern interviews didn’t cut it this time around tbh

yeah thats fair! by this era i mean like latam tour - now, so he doesnt really have much to be promoing lol. i didnt watch stern bc i dont like howard but i think he was avoiding interviews during harrys house promo to avoid questions about his personal life & olivia & dwd tbh. esp after the rolling stone article came out and his answers were all v shaky.but yeah i think csd would be huuuge also am dying for him to go on hot ones.
