so I'm only in s2 ep15 BUT, my leading theory is that house developed feelings for Wilson after his initial split with Stacy. they got drunk once (kissed) never talked about it. Wilson had feelings before that but, yknow the saying, "suppress = success and NO gay sex". Stacy coming back into houses life opened old wounds (them kissing was just the final straw for jimmy). Wilson spends more time with house (purely to make sure he okay) and house spirals because he can't deal with his feelings.
