I just read Burn It All Down by nekojita which suggested this would happen with Jiang Cheng holding one of Wei Wuxian’s dragon scales, but the wip hasn’t been updated to finish that portion of the story! But Wei Wuxian shook his head. “Give me your worst,” he snarled, his teeth coated in blood from where he had bitten his tongue at some point. “I will come back to end you all,” he promised darkly. “Very well,” Wen Zhuliu merely said and drowned him. Or: Yu Ziyuan cuts off Wei Wuxian's hand to appease the Wens. He gets drowned in the lake behind Lotus Pier and resentful energy transforms him into a river spirit. After avenging his own death, he finds his way to Yiling.

Kay's comments: Another story that I'm currently following and which always makes me shout in excitement when the notification for an update comes! A story in which Wei Wuxian gets brought back to life way earlier, but a) now he's stuck in a woman's body, b) it's a woman of the Meishan Yu Sect and c) he's married to Lan Wangji. I really love the character developement in this and the life this story gives to background characters and it's always good to see Wangxian reunited and married sooner. Poor Wei Wuxian only has to deal with a dysphoria and transphobia now, but at least the Lans are supportive and help him to the best of their abbilities when it comes to this. I also really love the relationship between Wei Wuxian and Lan Sizhui here - our little radish is a lot younger too after all. Excerpt: “Wei Ying.” Lan Wangji said it so softly, so tenderly. It almost hurt to hear. Wei Wuxian had never heard Lan Wangji’s voice so soft, and yet it felt so familiar and inviting. Any guilt that Wei Wuxian felt for being on the receiving end of such care was whisked away. He wanted to melt right there. Instead, he tensed. “Ah, isn’t interrupting people breaking the rules? How did you guess so fast? I barely made it a single day without someone recognizing me. What gave it away?” He blabbered, fast paced and without a breath. “Listen, Lan Zhan, I’m really not going to do anything bad, I’m not eve-“ Lan Wangji grabbed his hand, and Wei Wuxian stopped in his tracks. It wasn’t a very strong grip. If he wanted to, Wei Wuxian could break free or tug his hand back. Lan Wangji’s hand seemed to tremble as if ready to pull back at any sign of discomfort. But, Wei Wuxian did not move, simply waiting. With no resistance, Lan Wangji turned Wei Wuxian’s hand over so that his palm was up, then placed the jade token on it. With both of his hands, he closed Wei Wuxian’s fingers over the token and pushed it towards Wei Wuxian’s body. “What?” “I will not trap you here.” Lan Wangji stood up. “Please let me attend to your wound.”

if you roll outfits up in little bundles with rubber bands, they take less space, look nice and neat, and dont wrinkle in duffle bags. my mom used to do this when i was little and going on trips.

The default inquisitor that the people who got early access saw was a bare faced lavellan.

That's not what upsets me though, I mean you dont even have to use the default. What upsets me is that the choices that carry over to dav are centered around Solas.

Did you vow to save/kill Solas?

Did you disband the Inquisition (whose sole purpose post trespasser is dealing with Solas)?

Who did you romance? Except they dont ask additional questions to account for like. Bull or Blackwall being dead. The only romance they have enough context to reference is Solas.

The game doesn't even carry over your inquisitor's personality from dai. Or whether you had high or low approval with Solas. Literally the only type of Inquisitor who gets any unique reflection of their story is one who romanced Solas.

It's disappointing.

I have finished Inquisition 4 times. Not one of those times have I romanced Solas.

The fact that that's apparently the only part of the Inquisitor's story that's getting any attention in DAV is infuriating.

Yue Qingyuan would not be upset at OG Shen Qingqiu having a friend. Like he demonstratively doesn't have a problem with it in SVSSS

But like if it's still OG SQQ who is nasty to him if he decided to be friends with SQH for example what would happen is that SQH would get pulled into YQY's protection/favour bubble because he's important to Xiao Jiu

Like SQQ would make a snarky comment about the other peaks not doing their paperwork and making it hard for An Ding and being a nuisance and YQY would turn around start making sure all the peak lord's were doing their paperwork better

LQG bitching about SQH being shit at fighting and YQY would defend him immediately

Also like if Cucumber Qingqiu had come to YQY and was like "my favourite disciple is the son of Tianlang-Jun and Su Xiyan and I want to protect him" like before he pushed him into the Endless Abyss YQY would have absolutely helped him hide/protect Binghe

The reason he is anti Binghe is because Cang Qiong blames Binghe for Shen Qingqiu dying and that's the one thing YQY cannot forgive. But even then he largely gives in because it's what SQQ wants

Anyway Yue Qingyuan just wants Shen Qingqiu to be happy he's not a possessive person, partly because he doesn't think he deserves to be

I kinda want to see a Shen Jiu who keeps befriending the shiftiest people to try and make Yue Qingyuan actively object but Yue Qingyuan just is like "welp. I have a lot of terrible younger siblings now"
