one thing I find pretty ironic about thistle's name is that in some languages the name of this plant sounds as something that can be roughly translated as "demonbane" and yet the demon of the dungeon pulled to the sorcerer like a magnet

if you don't understand the rape allegory inherent to the demon's consuming the dungeon lord's desires and leaving empty, hollow shells of themselves then i dont want to talk dunmeshi with you. the consumption metaphors involves the rape metaphors.

Something that completely flew over my head (I am not very observant), I was rereading chapter 87: Winged Lion II to re-check some things about dungeons and I just now realized the ancient humans weren't from the current races we know.

They seem to have characteristics from several of the human races together, and some of them even seem to have fur (like demi-humans?)

It's even implied that the lifespan differences and physical differences (the two asking for muscles and using magic in the background) were due to the Demon granting wishes

I did notice this part but I didn't realize this was probably part of the source of the race differences rather than the races already being different and wishing for different things.

So at some point the human races might have been even more closely related, before a powerful being influenced their evolution.

HAND KISSING. oh my god. kabru needs to take his king's hand in his and kiss it while looking up at him through his eyelashes.

the king of melini, the devourer of all things horrible, wrapped around kabru's finger. like. this guy ate a demon and hes just like. a big dog around him. like its sick. sole survivor of his hometown and now he's got a king warming his bed at night. scratching under his chin and calling him a good boy right after a meeting.

im just. so in awe. kabru looked at laios and went "im going to whisper in his ear if its the last thing i do" and by god he did it.

thinking about how in senshi's journal he mentioned that laios collapsed from exhaustion after falin woke up and it was confirmed she was alright. I am always ill about the touden siblings and their relationship but this fact keeps me up at night
