the worst part about writing my hs au is trying to decide if Kevin should play football or baseball because during the era/place I grew up in, Friday night football games were peak social interaction and football really did create a lil social hierarchy amongst the student body.

but having him play baseball and having Andrew make commentary on quite possibly the most interesting and somehow least interesting sport is genuinely very important to me

remember the Jiang Cheng fibre crafts thing from like 2 (?) years ago I just got back into knitting and like all the hc are coming back oml. JL pointing out the socks his jiujiu made him! little talismans and tiny lotuses embroidered throughout jl and jc’s clothes! Jiang Cheng managing the Yunmeng weaving and dyeing guilds and the giant looms of Yunmeng. The quiet wealth of the Jiang sect not in adornments but in the quality of the fabrics, cuts, dyes and detailing of the garments. the Jiang as the textiles powerhouse of the Jianghu :).

I think the fact fibre arts can be quite mathematical but still have lots of creative freedom would suit Jiang Cheng’s  personality. also the incredibly repetitive and rhythmic act of the process would take his focus of his insecurities and complex sect issues and let him shut down for a little bit - its what he deserves!

Had an ADHD assessment a few years ago and the fuckwit that assessed me said, as a direct quote, "You're too smart to have ADHD." Like that's not any type of paraphrasing, that stupid fucking statement is burned in my brain forever and has been since I heard it.

I talked to my psychiatrist about getting a referral to a different psychologist for assessment, and she agreed and sent it in.

Today I got a call that said they don't agree that I need reassessment, and I'm welcome to pursue it elsewhere, but they won't provide reassessment. Which is just.

I don't even know where to start with that one. I just needed to get it out. I'm so tired.
