could I request something like the reader deciding to give L a lil massage. It started out in their head as smth sweet/relaxing until it became high-key concerning cuz every press of their hands draws out a deafening crack

"Boo," you say, coming up behind L to rest your hands on his shoulders and your head besides his. He gives a quick hum of acknowledgement and you peck his cheek.

"Hello, there." After a minute, he turns away from the computer's bright screen, rubbing his eyes and rolling his shoulders as he turns to look at you. L gives a yawn, one of the rare signs he trusts and loves you enough to let his stoic guard down, and blinks sleepily at you.

Your hands brush along his shoulders.

"Ready to take a break yet?" you tease gently, poking at his neck.

"I suppose so." L turns back towards his computer, one finger tapping against the j key and the other prodding at his lip. "I don't think I can do anything else at the moment," he decides, and turns the monitor off, scooping a forkful of cake into his mouth as he does so. "Did you want something?"

L spins his chair around to face you at this question, his head tilting up as he peers at you from the seat. One of his hands reaches up to rub at his shoulder and he gives a cross groan, not breaking eye contact.

"...Did you want something?" you ask, smiling and poking at his shoulders. L groans again and bats your hands away.

"I am simply a little sore."

You grin as a wonderful idea comes into your head: something sweet and cute, to help L relax after yet another long day of hard work.

"In that case, I can help!"

It's a difficult feat to pick L up, so you just roll his chair over to the couch and push him onto the cushions.

The detective turns his head to the side, so he is able to keep his eyes on you, but does not make any move to protest. L just shifts around a little, groaning unhappily, and waits for you to do... whatever it is you're going to do.

Pressing your hands together for a minute to warm them up, you eye your partner up and down.

...Definitely, a massage is required here.

You decide to plonk yourself down on his back for easy access, your hands reaching up to L's shoulders. Your fingers probe into the skin and L gives a small sigh of gratitude. A smile spreads across your face, as you're obviously able to remove some of the stress he has placed on his body by scrunching it into a ball all of the time.

And then a crunch.

You almost fall onto the floor, scared out of your wits. "L! The human body should not make that noise!"

"My apologies."

You sigh and stroke his hair for a moment. "I think this proves that you need some sort of assistance with your back, my love."

The gesture, which you thought to be sweet, becomes more and more concerning as you continued. Wherever you place your hands, there is a dramatic crunch, a crack, all very loud and very not normal.

"L, when was the last time you saw a doctor? Or an acupuncturist or a chiropractor or a physiotherapist?"

He just shakes his head.

You press your hands into his back and it cracks in protest. You take your hands off him and wring them in dismay.

"I just wanted to give you a massage, and now you sound like a whip-person..."

L gives a little chuckle. "Yes... Perhaps a different approach is in order, my dear Y/N." He shifts again, turning to look at you once more.

"I'll run you a bath."

the 141 would be amazing caregivers! here are my headcanons 💕

i have an itty bitty hunch that gaz would be THE man for snacks. like the guy. he’s loaded with candy and chips and drinks, so if you ever get hungry he’s got you! he’s like a chill older brother, ruffles your hair, and calls you sweet names but can be just as sassy as you can get. i think he also likes to take you out on walks early in the morning. he’ll show you plants and birds and bugs and other stuff outside and let you explore. he would also be the designated boo-boo fixer-upper. he’ll hold your hands and count breaths, put a little fun bandaid on your owie and kiss it all better.

soap would be an older brother too, but not as chill. he’ll play fight and wrestle with you on the ground, letting you chomp on his arms when your paci isn’t enough. he 100% squishes your face between his bicep, making fun of you and going “aww wee little thing making pouty lips at me?“ and then he calls you his ducky! he’s a little quicker to get irritated than the rest, but he always tries his best to keep his cool. whenever you have a lot of energy to spare, he’ll run around and chase you, picking you up over his shoulder and tickling you.

ghost would be the chillest out of the whole team. when you first tell him about your regression, he’s a little confused but seems to get the main idea. just treat you like a little kid, aye? so he’ll give you noogies when you lay your head in his lap while watching tv. he’ll also just be with you? less of a talking relationship, more just being in the same place together and being comfy. he’s the one you come to when things are loud and too much. he’ll color with you, sit beside you as you eat, be that other presence in the room to ground you so you know you’re not alone.

price is the dad. if one of the boys gets a little too rough or says something a little too mean, or if you just had a bad day, he’ll pick you up in his arms and just hold you, pressing your head to his chest. he’ll rub the back of your hands with his thumb. if he takes you out for errands like the grocery store, he’ll show you things and explain them to you, adding in little jokes to make you laugh. he is on top of the weather, like that man will always make sure you’re wearing a coat when it’s cold or a hat when it’s sunny. during the summers he’s got you covered in sunscreen with your water bottle in your hands before you go out and play, and in the winters he’s tying the laces of your snow boots and zipping your jacket, kiss to your temple before he gets started on making some hot cocoa.

What is it with Baldurs Gate 3, that this game has so many characters I completly obsess about? I am usually a "one-true-blorbo" kinda girl. Fenris, Solas, Garrus, Jaal. Those are my Bioware blorbos.

I might try to smooch some one else but it never really works out.

Now for some reason, in BG3 my brain makes blorbos out of half the cast.

Astarion is my No 1. He is a very angry feral cat and I will love him till I die. He is perfect and sweet and angry and deserves sunlight and hugs and sweet gentle kisses and patience and a fucking hero in shining armor who stands beside him, without expecting shit in return. Who is there and is his shield and voice of reason. Some one who doesn't save him but gives him the space and chance, so he can save himself.

But damn, there is Raphael who takes way to much space in my brain lately. Give me that pillow princess and I will make him so much better he forgets what contracts even are. This poor sweet devil prince who never experienced love or someone who truly cares about him. All he knows is terms and conditions and life is so much more than transaction. Such a shame that he cant be romanced ingame. He is just the best devil and damn he looks soo soo yum. (WHERE IS MY RAPHAEL ROMANCE)

Karlach who is the bestest ever and I want her to ride me into the ground, and I want to hug her and hold her hand and never let her go and tell her is is the best thing since the invention of icecream and she deserves EVERYTHING!

Gale, sweet Gale who deserves unconditional true love, kindness and so many kisses. Someone who tells him "you are enough" and just loves him and blows him till he sees stars.

Wyll who deserves someone loyal, and sweet, who stands beside him and doesn't throw him away and tells him he is perfect the way he is. Also dances in the moonlight yayyy!

Dammon with his cute smile and sweet voice who needs to be smooched very gently. (WHERE IS MY DAMMON ROMANCE? Also he and Karlach would be perfect for each other if not romanced)

Rolan with his snotty attitude who needs to be smooched very hard. Also he needs to be fucked against a wall. (WHERE IS MY ROLAN ROMANCE)

Zevlor who deserves all the hugs and love. Also he needs someone who grabs his horns while riding him into the ground. (WHERE IS MY ZEVLOR ROMANCE)

Lae'zel and Shadowheart are made for each other. They are my sweet angry baes who really need to take a room and fuck it out of their system. Sorry, I would love each one of them but I just don't dare to come between them. But I will be their cheerleader and be the most embarrassing friend when they finally stop being silly. How sad is it that our companions dont find each other if we dont romance them. They deserve love, and Tav/Durge cant kiss them all!

Halsin who gives the sweetest bear hugs and seems somehow lost in Act 3, and should be kissed and hugged and be given lots of little ducky plushies.

Jaheira who is just the coolest and a damn good friend and gives great (bad) advice and who would share a blunt and a bottle of wine and I would listen to her stories all day, I love her so much. We all should have a Jaheira in our life.

Minsc who also tells the best stories and if you want really good (bad) advice you would ask Boo. He would be the best (worst) wingman, and the no 1 person you go to when you have a bad day. He just makes everything better. When in doubt just go and do some asskicking and everything is good.

How can ONE (1) game have so many wonderful characters, where I want to band almost every single one of them.

you love to do his hair A LOT. clips in his beard, clips on his head, glitter literally everywhere. it's a good way for him to bond with you when he needs to rest.

you don't see anakin and padmé a lot but when you do, it's always soooo much fun!!

padmé loves to take you on nature walks, do your hair or dress you, take you swimming.

you and padmé love to feed the ducks fruits and veggies! you love pointing to them and shouting "duck! ducks!"

she'll ask you what colors they are, what sounds they make, and has you draw a pretty picture of the duckies you saw to give to obi wan!!

anakin absolutely loves rough housing with you, you're always safe and protected though, don't worry

you'll do fake lightsaber battles with anakin and he lets you win ajfhs

and when obi wan comes back, you immediately jump in his arms!! everyone else is forgotten, cause your cg is here!!

sometimes when everyone's together, there's lots of talk of war and politics and sometimes it means arguments. you hate them, it makes you cry. obi wan tries to shield you from it the best he can.

when all the bad stuff begins to happen, obi wan tells you everything in the most appropriate way he can. he tried his best to be reassuring and soft but a lot of raw emotions got in the way

obi wan keeps you away from the city. no matter your protests, he vows to keep you safe.

when he comes back, you become Nurse Kiddo again, tending to his wounds, giving forehead kisses cause obi is so sad :(

he tries to push you away but you don't take it one bit!! when yoda tells you obi wan's going to tatooine you immediately decide you're going, too.

you give forehead kisses and soft hugs to the babies, the twins, luke and leia.

on the trip to tatooine, you hold luke the whole way. everything else is so sad but luke is so silly and adorable! he helps a lot.

you both grieve and miss padmé and anakin. but luckily since you're together, it's not so bad.

Gets super excited! He LOVES playing with you when you're little!

Will kneel down and take your hands in his, the sweetest smile on his face.

"Aw, are we feeling a tad small, baby duck? Do you want to play? Come on, up we go!"

Picks you up and carries you to your playpen, sitting you down and pinching your cheek. There are a myriad of toy ducks that he's made just for you scattered around.

Offers to pick out a comfier outfit for you, and dresses you.

"What would you like to wear, pumpkin? Oh, oh! How about your ducky overalls?"

Will play pretend with you for HOURS. He'll make snacks for the both of you to share and will bounce you in his lap.

Sad or upset? Lucifer has an arsenal of horrible jokes and visual gags to turn that frown upside down! Watch out for silly faces and tickles!

Feel like going out? How about a trip to the circus? He buys you all the sweetest carnival food and gets you the best seat for the show! OR! Creates his own circus for you! He's the ringmaster, and you're his assistant!

Gives you a nice, hot bubble bath after such a long day. Rubs your aching muscles with a sugar scrub, and washes your hair with apple scented shampoo. Then he'll wrap you in a big, fluffy towel and carry you to bed.

As soon as you look at him, he's patting your head and taking you by the hand, leading you to his radio tower.

Gives you a kiss on the forehead and asks if you would like a snack. You nod, thumb in your mouth. He gently removes your thumb, tutting you and giving you a plate of food instead.

"Here, darling, be a good child and eat the nice food daddy's prepared for you. You want to grow up big and strong, don't you?"

Has his shadow watch over you if he has to turn his attention to something else. You play peek-a-boo with it, giggling happily.

Gives you chores to do, and offers to do them with you if you're struggling with them.

Encourages you to brush your teeth after each meal.

"You must take care of your smile, dear. After all, you're never fully dressed without it!"

Shows you his radio equipment and how it works, and even offers to let you make a broadcast!

Dances with you while the radio plays his favorite music. He'll take the lead and spin you as much as you want!

If you're tired, he'll rock you in a rocking chair and sing to you quietly. The small, happy sounds you make soothe him and allow him to relax, nearly nodding off himself.

Doesn't notice at first. It takes you grabbing his coat tail and tugging on it gently, gazing up at him with big doe eyes.

When he realizes that you're little, he lights up and swoops you up in his arms, swinging you around while you giggle and kick your feet.

"Hey, kiddo! Need some daddy time? No problem, Vox has got you covered!"

Lets you sit in his lap while he works and will take frequent breaks to play with you.

Knows all of your favorite movies and shows by heart, and will watch them with you for as long as you want.

He even gets into them! He knows all the characters, the songs, and likes to talk to you about them.

Buys you toys of your favorite characters.

Is unsure of how to handle you whenever you become upset or cry, and has a habit of just plopping you in front of the TV.

When that doesn't work, he awkwardly picks you up and shushes you, patting your back and bouncing you in his arms.

"Hey, c'mon now sweetie, don't cry like that. Daddy Vox has got ya, alright?"

Is completely oblivious until you start to get whiny or shy. You may throw a stuffie at him to get his attention.

"Hey, what the fuck!? Oh, ohhh haha! Sorry squirt. Didn't realize you were regressed. Ya need something from daddy?"

Lets you eat ice cream for breakfast and plays with you all afternoon during your sugar high.

Teaches you how to play music, and introduces you to all of his favorite rock bands.

Writes songs just for you, and performs them whenever you're feeling down.

Dresses you in "cool" outfits, and shows you off to all the other angels.

"Ain't they the cutest lil shit you've ever seen?! Hah!"

Is surprisingly gentle with you when you're tired, talking to you in a soft voice and making sure you have your favorite stuffie.

Naps with you when you eventually crash. Holds you against his soft belly like a pillow. He's incredibly warm and wraps you in his wings protectively.

Can tell by your mannerisms when you've gone into little space.

Immediately melts and coos at you, putting you into a diaper and perhaps a onesie or a cute little outfit.

Look you over and hums approvingly, picking you up and cradling you, combing his talons through your hair.

"Oh, you're just too precious, my little owlet. I could eat you up~!"

Proceeds to pretend to eat your fingers and toes, relishing in your tiny giggles.

Takes you to the library in his palace, where there's a special play area just for the two of you.

"Would you like a story, starlight? Or perhaps you'd prefer a nap? We could also play house, of course!"

Will do literally anything you ask of him.

Has several deco pacifiers he's hand made personally for you.

Sings to you whenever you feel upset or scared, and even uses his magic to put on a little galaxy show.

Has learned from his mistakes with Octavia and does his absolute best to communicate with you on your needs.

Let’s assume they’re playing with the latest set of tokens (which I have googled for your edification and mine, gentle nonny), which gives us eight pieces and this highly scientific analysis of our players’ choices:

Colin selects the race car, which elicits (good-natured) boos and questions of his sanity, like fucking really, mate? Colin reasons that this is a car he can’t crash, right, and if he somehow did anyway, it wouldn’t matter ‘cause it’s super tiny! No one can argue with that logic. Live vicariously through mini metal motors, Colin! Safest for all, really.

Isaac gets the top hat, becaue he’s a top dog and also he can rock them costumes, yeah?

Jamie opts for the dog ‘cause he just passionate about dogs. Petting them. Loving them. Rubbing their bellies. (If he can’t choose the dog because Dani already beat him to it, he goes for the rubber ducky, due to its sexual connotations. What are those sexual connotations? I have no idea, but Jamie Tartt will know.)

Dani wouldn’t have minded playing the dog, but will happily settle for the penguin because it is such a happy and majestic animal even though it lives in difficult conditions. (Unless he’s somehow playing for the Mexico in the Monopoly World Championship, which apparently does exist: then he’s selecting the battleship and he’s going to fucking sink you.)

Bumbercatch will not play if he cannot play the thimble, which is one of the original pieces and symbolizes the poor (together with the now retired boot and iron, and in contrast to the top hat, battleship, and canon, which originally symbolized the rich according to the potentially accurate but potentially sketchy online sources I found). He will also never fail to explain the true meaning of Monopoly and its inherent criticism of capitalism.

Sam is inclined towards the cat because he admires the creature’s independent nature and insistence on going its own way, as well as its grace and ability to always find a sunny spot to rest in.

Jan Maas doesn’t care which token he gets, because the token doesn’t actually affect the outcome of the game, so it really doesn’t matter which one you play with.
