I saw your post about the collages, and I was wondering if I could have one. If so, I would like either one with a theme of orange cats and orchards (colours mainly being orange, green, red, pink, and/or yellow), or one with nova scotia duck tolling retrievers and bodies of water (like rivers, lakes, and waterfalls). hello i have animal facts!!!

im a golden retriever/nova scotia duck tolling retriever therian and dogs are also one of my special interests

duck tollers have many names bc the full name is quite wordy but they're nicknamed little river duck dogs!! cute!!!

golden retrievers and toller retrievers were both bred at the same time (1800s), from very similar ancestors, for the same purpose, only in different places!! goldens are from Scotland (me too :DD) and tollers are from Canada :3

small tw here for animal death/hunting, you can skip this fact if you wish: basically their job was to collect ducks that had been hunted and may have fallen into the water, which is why they're so good at games like fetch now, and why they're called retrievers

one of the toller retrievers ancestors is the lesser newfoundland, which is unfortunately extinct, but is very cute and well worth looking up (i would attach a pic but i don't use my main)

Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers

Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, more easily known as “Tollers” are a unique sporting and gun dog. Whilst they look similar to a Golden Retriever, these small retrievers are different in many ways.

Duck Tollers are naturally high energy dogs, as they were bred as gun dogs. Typically, a hunter will hide by some water, and send the dog out into the water (by throwing a ball or stick) and then will call the dog back to the hiding place - wild ducks see this strange orange dog appearing and reappearing, and are inclined to investigate. Once the ducks come close enough, the hunter shoots, and the dog is sent to retrieve the prey.

Thus, Duck Tolling Retrievers are drawn to the water, and love to swim. These energetic dogs are capable of excelling in many sports, such as dock jumping, lure coursing and fly ball.
