Drawn to Life is a game I hold very close to my heart. I doubt I’d be where I am now without it. Or maybe I would, but it would have taken me more time, then.

Samuel has always been one of my favorite characters, even if there’s not much we know about him. Granted, he’s not the only one we know little about...

For some reason, I like to think he’s an albino.

If you were to ask me about my favorite and least favorite boss in DTL besides Wilfre my answer would be Deadwood for both because on one hand he's just a nice gentle giant tree who hangs out with Samuel (who's always been one of my fav side characters) but got corrupted by shadow but on the other hand I struggled with this bitch of a bark so fucking much the first time playing DTL it was terrible

Gender Headcanon: he/him agender!  A ship I have with said character: i don't see him being in any relationship tbh.   A BROTP I have with said character: i think indee and samuel could be a funny pair lmfaooo. the levelheaded friend and the himbo guy!  A NOTP I have with said character: eh, none  A random headcanon: i mentioned this before but i love imagining them as the village grandparent. just the resident old rapo youd go to for advice.  General Opinion over said character: i really really love him!! cryptid rapo in a mysterious cloak...sign me up man...i really need to think of him more..

Okay so I crave DtL content, Samuel is one of my favorite side characters and always has been and I was wondering if maybe you have any headcanons for him :3c (if not that's fine, especially since he's kinda forgettable lmao)

*rubs hands together* yes ive been wanting to share these!!! -i think this is a common one; i hc that there are other deities other than the creator, deadwood being one of them. -samuel does believe in the creator, but he primarily follows deadwood. -stemming from that, his robe is symbolic of his beliefs. (religion?) -he's partially albino. consequently, he gets sunburnt easily and is practically blind. -he can "see" using deadwood's roots, which grow across the entire world. (maybe even the human world..?) -he's old. like, centuries old. he doesn't remember much of it tho. -he likes tea, cleaning, and climbing trees. -he dislikes loud noises, negative auras, and pepper. -he's generally liked by the raposa. they often go to him for advice. he's never bothered by it, as he loves to share deadwood's wisdom. -he's also the village's best storyteller.

overall, he's very wholesome and i love him very much.
