sometimes i sit and think abt the your tubbo/your tommy compasses and how c!clingy cherished them in their own different ways. ctommy, the quote unquote chaotic child who ppl thought of as always doing something a little destructive, who was abrasive, keeping his compass safe in his enderchest beside his dics. Would open his enderchest to simply look at it always putting it back so it would stay in mint condition. meanwhile, ctubbo had his compass on him at all times. tubbo, who prioritized logic over emotion. DO YOU GET IT. DO YOU GET IT. DO YOU GE- *i am dragged away screaming*

Techno opens the door when Tommy almost breaks down the door with his knocking. The Piglin hybrid is still dressed for hibernation but that foesnt stop him from giving Tommy a once over. Tommy is absolutely covered in blood, hands covered in it and it's already drying under his finger nails.

Technoblade just steps aside to let Tommy in, because the kid still doesn't have a real coat. "Where is the cloak I gave you?"

"Burned it."

"Bruh." Technoblade closed the door before going to start the fire in the furnace. He had some ingredients still kicking about, thanks to Phil insisting that he has stuff even if he is in hibernation mode.

Seems like he has enough for some rabbit stew. That will have to do for now. He isn't a great cook by any means, but he knows how to make soup. Put stuff in hot pot. Make sure meat cooked to correct temperature. Serve. He also set some snow in a pot to thaw, making warm water to clean up Tommy with.

Once he has the rudimentary soup going, he go to where Tommy has dumped himself on the floor by the side of the furnace, very warm but not being directly blasted by the flames.

"Is that blood all yours or someone elses?"

Tommy hesitated, glancing at his hands.

"Probably both," he added after a minute of thought. "I... might have cut my hand or something."

"Who's blood?"

More hesitation than before.

"I don't get why you're acting like I'm not expecting an answer. Fess up."

"Promise you won't be mad?"

"Is it Phil's?"

"NO!"

"Then I really don't care Tommy."

Techno placed the warmed water by Tommy's feet. The boy immediately started to wash his hands, eager for once to be clean. "Dream."

"What?"

"I beat Dream to death with my hands in the snow. Over the hill."

Techno blinked. Tommy looked too serious to be joking right now. He was sweaty and pale and, if Techno was going to be honest, still looked a little scared. "Alright. He had it coming."

The pigging got up as Tommy scrubbed at the spatter on his face. Techno returned with two bowls of steaming soup and held a wooden bowl out to Tommy once he could see.

"Eat up. Then we'll go burn his corpse."
