To be honest, I drifted away from the general mcyt fandom, so sadly I don't feel that inspired as I once was😔

End of term is an utter mess, so I've decided to post my so-far attempts at updating my Quackity design, since I won't be able to make anything new right now, it seems

I experimented a little with the hair, face shape, and scar, and I'd say the two first pictures seem the closest to what I want, but do let me know what you think

I definitely like the updated scar shape much better - I tried to make it more realistic and lively, and I'd say I succeeded

Anyway enjoy, and I'll try to get chapter 2 of it's us that made this mess out next week (just gotta find the time to read through it all at once so that it's properly edited, but it's over 7k words and I really am short on time)

When I first started drawing Grian I'd always give him a low ponytail and a bandana and it was amazing but eventually I decided it just wasn't recognizable as Grian anymore so I stopped

Uhhh I wouldn't say genuinely upset, but probably annoys me yeah haha.

Comments comparing designs, like Odysseus and Jesus, etc, those get old very quickly.

Questions insistently asking if I'm a boy or girl, while amusing, also get old very quickly.

Any questions like the previous anon where it's like "why do you like this piece of media so much" well! It's a long story isn't it. Do you want a history because I Can traumadump. This one is a special case though, it mostly takes context

And any comment telling me to draw something (depends on tone) just makes me not want to draw it HAHA. I don't mind if people ask nicely, but the ones that are just a straight up demand? Rude. Ignored.

Also what Does upset me, now that I think about it, though it doesn't really happen here, mostly on TikTok and YouTube, is when people say I'm race swapping characters?? Or changing their race? I guess? It's just weird.

c!Sapnap was never a good friend to c!Dream and the fact that he insisted that he wanted c!Dream to get better and that he had his best interest in mind while also threatening to kill him if he ever escaped was crazy.

c!sapnap is soooo. so. like i think whats really interesting to me about him too is how personal the way he looks at all of this is--he's mad that c!dream slighted him and slighted him personally, he personally feels used and betrayed, and that's why he's mad and doing all of this. it's not really about a greater moral compass bc [looks at c!sapnap] UHHH THIS MAN DOESNT REALLY HAVE ONE. soundly chaotic evil like holy shit. his love for c!dream is so deeply rooted in possessiveness and it's just ... c!sapnap and the way he sees like, everything, honestly is so fucking like. like. it's about him and the people he's deeply connected to and that's It. he's immature? and well, uh, aggressive and emotional and unpredictable, and he's never really been a character motivated by righteousness as much as he's driven by what he thinks of as his right. the death pact with the revive book/death book and saying that hed kill dream and then george would just die without them both was really just, so. So.

Funny shit is watching c!Tubbo being confused/frustrated with Tommy being upset about his and c!Ranboo’s relationship on the dsmp, to seeing q!Tubbo with fitpac right now. Cue Danny Devito “i get it” dot gif

Me and a friend of mine were talking about this exact thing yesterday! Like, the parallels between qTubbo and cTommy are insane...

Especially because the reason for that jealousy for both of them is a feeling of inadequacy mixed in with abandonment issues.

cTommy mentioned many times that he thought that, by that point in the story, he was nothing but a husk of his former self. And seeing his bestie getting married, having a child, and seemingly moving on didn't help with thinking that, hey, maybe there wouldn't be any place for him in cTubbo's life any longer.

qTubbo is the fucking same. I mean, he mentioned at least twice openly that his main worry with qFit and qPac getting together is that there won't be space between them for him. Also that little comment about how he and Sunny's love is different because it's unconditional?

Like, it's clear that he doesn't see his friendships as an unconditional kind of love and that he's feeling like he doesn't meet those conditions anymore.

I'm Romko! Ukrainian artist obsessed with everything Frutiger Aero, I carry so much nostalgia for that part of my childhood. I mostly draw dsmp stuff, even though I don't support most of the content creators anymore. I also draw a lot of MLP (g4) and on occasion something else. You know how dsmp Foolish was only a devout follower of XD because he thought he could replace him? Because I didn’t. I just knew about him working for the federation in order to rise through the ranks and “own the fish store.” And replace cururucho.

I'm a decent chunk less knowledgable on c!foolish than I am qfoosh but if this is true its yet another fascinating similarity between the two of them, id love to see some clips if you have any! Reading through cfoolish analysis and rewatching older vods and clips im struck with a strong sense of familiarity with the more recent qfoolish, and with the scattered lore hints between them lining up so well it creates an almost uncanny sense of continuity.

Whether they're completely separate characters or not i feel that these two characters have the same core. They still undoubtedly have their differences but they almost feel like different spins on the same concept, or an initial concept further developed and refined which only makes it so much more interesting to dissect where they diverge, and then despite their unique situations and histories where they overlap. Does every iteration of foolish make the same decisions and subsequent mistakes? does he hunt for power? does he love? will he always be alone? The ways in which their individual worlds and storylines have shaped them, or on a more meta level what kind of story did ccfoolish himself want to tell. I think it's pretty cool to think about at least

and if youve seen it in my posts, "Disco Lazare" (terrible name pending) is the AU where c!Wilbur, still in the context of the dsmp, has these skills "helping" him stumble through the events of the server, its more of a fun little character study/dissection kind of AU rather than anything functional
