I imagine healing for ctommy having more to do with him being able to connect with who he used to be: loud, rambunctious, annoying, as opposed to any dreams of softness. I see ctommy softness as being confused with him gaining maturity he doesn't want to have, developing a level of articulation and also sadness that forces him to slow down. to me, true healing for ctommy has nothing to do with softness, but that does not imply that he's not safe. at his safest, ctommy is pulling pranks and cursing people out. a mode of healing in which he isn't doing these things rings a little hollow to me. I think the desire of ctommy softness comes more from what people want from the character instead of what actually represents him best. anyway is anyone else seeing those chappel roan billboards pop up they're so cool right

Ponk’s lore was genuinely awesome. He was around from practically the beginning of the smp, his lemon tree started one of the first actual fights on the server (which would become wars), he lost his legs when Tubbo was blown up because he was sitting front row at the festival. My man could not catch a break.

ALSO people who talk about tnt duo being toxic yaoi have NO IDEA what was happening with awesamponk. They were in love, they were the happiest and healthiest couple on the smp. then Sam went mad with power and ripped ponk’s arm off (leaving him with one limb left) when he stole the prison key cards. they hate each other but flirt constantly. Sam refuses to admit he was in the wrong, Ponk JOINS A CULT to deal with it. Foolish tries to step in and Sam and Ponk resort to flirting with him to make the other jealous. They create the messiest love triangle in existence. Ponk says that Sam has a fat ass but it isn’t as fat as Foolish’s and Sam jumps off a building. Sam goes to the red banquet and tells Ponk that he’s beautiful, despite everything, because Sam has forgiven himself for taking Ponk’s arm even though Ponk hasn’t.

anyway tldr Ponk’s story deserved more love and attention and i’ll die on that hill.
